Best Water Heater Repair in Detroit MI
Great communication, responsiveness, and service all around. Andre responded to my request for a quote within 3 minutes and called me promptly to discuss. We appreciated his transparency on pricing throughout the process, especially when troubleshooting unforeseen issues. He was able to install our two faucets, do a valve replacement under our kitchen sink, and more, all within less than a few hours of quoting the work out. Highly recommend and will call him again when we need additional service.

Had Mitch and his crew in earlier this week and they did great work for a reasonable price. First crew member showed up and assessed what he would need and his co-worker was waiting for his call to quickly get the material and head over. I've gotten screwed before by one-man crews charging me an hourly rate for them to go to Home Depot shopping for what they would need.
Mitch was also able to give input on what else could get fixed with the plumbing and gave me a quote but was not high-pressure on needing to get it done, which is always appreciated.

I called Steve a few hours ago as I was replacing a leaking toilet and thought I needed a new flange. The toilet was still leaking after I was done. Replacing a cast iron flange wasn't something I wanted to do myself. He talked me through what I was possibly doing wrong (ie. it wasn't the flange) and told me to call him back if I was still having issues. The toilet is now leak free!
This guy knows what he's talking about and he will definitely be the first call I make if I need some work done in the future. I wasn't looking for free advice and I know that a lot of people would rather show up and make a buck even though I was so close to finishing the project. You don't find professionalism like this every day.
If you're in need of plumbing work, give this guy a call!

We are new to the area and wanted to keep it local. Dixie plumbing had great response time and was on time less than 24 hours later. Wore a mask, was professional and had everything fixed in a matter of less than 15 minutes. Pricing was reasonable and I will call them again should I have any other issues.

I have been buying properties for 17 years and Michael accomplished what few other plumbers will even attempt. he was referred to me from a friend in common and went and looked at my clogged drain the same day. I had six inches of water in the basement AND my stairs to the basement collapsed from the previous plumber who attempted it and broke them with his heavy equipment. Mike went the same day, got his equipment down there and worked on the drain until he got it freed up. excellent communication. great pricing and incredible service. thanks Mike. I appreciate the excellent service.

In my case, same-day service. On-time, respectful and responsive. Can pay via debit/credit cards. Wants to beat the competition! I needed a diagnosis before they started work. Estimate price was lowest given through Yelp!

Unfortunately our water heater decided it wanted to wash our basement floor more than it wanted to wash us this past weekend. After striking out trying to find a company to help us out, we luckily heard about Brock Mechanical from a local Facebook group. My wife called the company and immediately spoke to Douglas who is the owner. He was very engaged, seemed genuinely interested in understanding the situation, took his time, and went out of his way to fit in a late-afternoon visit from one of his team.
We had Ken out a few hours later, fitting us into his schedule to review the situation first hand, performed some diagnostic work (e.g. water softener settings; water hardness test) to check if there may have been a conflating issue that would cause the heater to fail. On the spot he was able to give me a quote for a replacement installation with the company sorting out the warranty claim for us. He coordinated that for the very next morning.
Yesterday we had Kyle out bright and early to take care of the installation. He was also great to interact with, kept the house clean, communicated a lot of details about the work so I knew what was going on, and identified a number of less-than-ideal (bordering on dangerous) issues from the prior heater installation that was done by another company. He remediated all of those issues and the quality was very apparent versus what I had before this team.
Even with these two visits, extra quality improvements, and ~24 hour turnaround end-to-end, the final bill came in UNDER the already reasonable quote. I think it's impossible to nail every job perfectly, but it's important that you work with a company who wants to provide that level of service every time they take on work. My sense is that this tight-nit team understands how to take care of people, have real pride in their work, and appreciate your business. They spoke to each other often to sync up on ideas/concerns/get feedback; they clearly trust each other and know that using their collective knowledge is always better than trying to be right alone.
While I hope to have less emergent problems in the future, I at least know who is getting my phone call and money for any plumbing needs from now on. Thanks guys, we appreciate your time, expertise, and customer service!

They explained to us about our drain system and how it was failing, showed pictures of everything and provided pictures on the write-up.
Friendly, professional, and most importantly (for us at the time) efficient!
Hopefully we don't have to do business with them again, but if we need someone we will know who to call!

We called Anytime plumbing and they came out the same day. Sam fixed the problem right away. Very professional and nice. He gave us advice on how to prevent the problem from happening again.
We will definitely call anytime plumbing and ask for Sam next time.

This was the worst experience I had had with a service company in my 50 years. I needed a updated gas fireplace replaced at my home. They sent out 2 techs that were not licensed or certified to do the work. Between the 2 of them they could not figure out how to hook up the unit after 2 hours with instructions.
A third tech came out 2 hours later and looked at it then wanted to see the gas line. He says that it needs rerouted and it will be $1012.00 to put in the gas fireplace. The first 2 techs said the line was perfect and that's the way they would hook it up.
Price gouging because the first techs were not being paid. There's more but I'm done. Do not use this company.

Skip this guy. He is a rip off artist. Oh, he seems nice and friendly at first but he'll take you for what you have and do a bad job. He put in new pipes in the basement because sewage was flowing into the basement and he said new pipes would stop that. They didn't. He didn't finish the job properly. After tearing up the cement, putting in new pipes, he screwed up laying the fresh concrete down. He didn't have enough cement to contour the slope of the floor to direct water into the drain so he said he would be back in a few days to finish the floor. He never came back. And when sewage started seeping back into the basement, I called him, NO ANSWER. I text messaged him, NO RESPONSE. I emailed him, NO REPLY. So now he has my money and I have the same problem as I did before but now the sewage is flowing into the basement through brand new pipes.

I signed up with them for multiple services because of the high reviews. I knew I was paying a PREMIUM everytime and ALWAYS they were trying to sign me up for something different but I didn't mind because I wanted to buy peace of mind. They came out for what was supposed to be a free scheduled maintenance visit around Christmas time and suddenly I was told that my furnace is leaking poisonous carbon gases and they had to shot it down immediately. They told my wife they can't fix it and it has to be replaced, keep in mind the temperature were in single digits outside. They kept pushing for it and calling us everyday to make a decision. When I told them I want to get my home warranty insurance involved because they may pay for a new furnace they tried to make us dismiss the idea. Long story short, I got another company to check it and no gas leak was detected... the furnace board wasn't working and they had to replace it FOR FREE.
These are bunch of dirty lying cheating scums that tried to take advantage of cold weather and Christmas holiday to pressure us spend $14,000 on new furnace. STAY AWAY FROM THEM

Hoover fixed my plumbing problem. My complaint is with their business practices. I noticed an online offer for any drain cleared for $89. I called and was told the offer only applied to drains cleared on the main floor, not the basement. Their guy showed up and, sure enough, he snaked the drain from below my kitchen sink on the main floor. I mentioned the $89 offer and he said it only applies to clogs within 5 feet of the sink. In actuality, I believe the clog was within 5 feet of the sink, but how could I prove that? I'm guessing nobody has ever gotten to use that $89 offer. In the end, I paid $200 for a 15-minute job that I believe should have cost me $89. I won't get fooled again.

The Search For Heat The Saga Continues.
This is a true story and is my opinion.
On Friday December 20th our furnace broke down. We called Reliance to have a technician come out to fix it. A technician came out and told us that it was a circuit board and that he would order the part but that it would not arrive until December 24th. The box did arrive on the 24th and we called to have the technician come out. He arrived that day and spent some time attempting to fix the furnace after making a lot of noise. He came upstairs and informed us that the part they had sent was the wrong part it was a blower motor and not a circuit board and that he had damaged our blower trying to put in the new one after realized it was the wrong blower motor. My thought was, you didn't realize the difference. He said he would have to order another circuit board and that we would get a free blower motor because of the damage to the original, which was in good condition to start, but that he could not order them until Friday Dec 27th and that they would arrive on
Dec 30th. So more days of cold without a furnace. On Dec 30th the circuit board arrived but guess what, no blower motor, so now the motor has to be ordered and it will most likely not arrive until Jan 3rd. That means we will have been without a furnace for 2 weeks. We called
reliance to speak to a supervisor and was told by the supervisor to call again tomorrow because the parts depot is closed, sorry for the inconvenience. Inconvenience are you kidding, being without heat for two weeks is more than just an inconvenience. We have had to purchase electric heaters and run them constantly. My wife has a medical condition that is adverse to cold and my 12 year old granddaughter lives with us as well. This whole situation is unacceptable and should never have happened. I think Reliance needs to change their name.
