Had a garbage disposal installed by JD. He came out on time and was friendly. That's about all the positives I have to say. The first problem came up when instead of just trying to install the garbage disposal he spent 30 minutes trying to up sell me a $400 job to bring my plumbing back up to code. You can tell these techs are trained to up sell non-stop and he ended up wanting to basically redo my entire kitchen plumbing. I said no and just to install the garbage disposal. Everything seemed fine once the disposal was installed and I paid my $350 for his hour of work.

Then starting at 11pm I'm getting calls and texts from him that he forgot to remove the knockout plug. First thing is I'm not answering any calls at 11pm nor should a business allow its employees to call that late and secondly the amount that he called and texted was getting to the point of creepy and very unprofessional. I feel like if he wasn't so focused on selling me the extra $400 job he wouldn't have forgotten about the plug. Long story short, I did not want to have him back in my home so I finished the job myself and still paid them $350. I will probably try to dispute this through my credit card company.  I want nothing to do with this company ever again.

I have been buying properties for 17 years and Michael accomplished what few other plumbers will even attempt. he was referred to me from a friend in common and went and looked at my clogged drain the same day. I had six inches of water in the basement AND my stairs to the basement collapsed from the previous plumber who attempted it and broke them with his heavy equipment. Mike went the same day, got his equipment down there and worked on the drain until he got it freed up. excellent communication. great pricing and incredible service. thanks Mike. Called Mitch this morning in regard to a toilet that was leaking and was told someone would be out to our home around 3:00 pm today (8/31/15).  It's after 11:00 pm and not only did no one show up at our home, we didn't even deserve a phone call to say they couldn't make it today.  I also called and left a message at approximately 4:45 pm to no avail.  This is not the first time we've called Mitch, he's always come out promptly, however, after this experience, it will be the last!!!  I guess he's yet to learn your company is only as good as your reputation.  My advice to anyone needing a plumber, call someone else.

Brian and John have done a couple jobs for me, neither were anything small! I do most of my own stuff, but sometimes there are problems bigger than my abilities/credentials. I waited 6 months after their last job for me, making sure the settled repairs are bonafide and my review is fair for readers. I will not ever hesitate to call them for that next problem that's coming down my calendar.

I had an emergency with a frozen pipe that had not yet burst.  Even though they were busy, they came right over and flushed the icy sludge out of the pipes and no damage.  They gave me some ideas to address the causes and prevent any repeat of this problem.

Do not trust this company.  We had a sump pump installed in July and were told that it came with a warranty.  Flood in Feb. The person who came out to fix it said it was improperly installed.  $1K in damage and mold.  Found out that WaterWorks does not have a warranty that they are willing to honor. David the manager told me they don't stand by their work and if I want to, I can go sue them.  I asked to speak with the owner or his manager and was told that there is no need because we are at an impass.

The owner can say whatever they want but his reviews on BBB speak for themselves.  This company has an F rating.

James was great. Came out the same day I called and fixed our basement laundry pump very quickly. Also identified some safety issues with older piping in our basement and helped to secure. Will definitely have Cregger back over the summer when we do some other projects in the home.

After requesting a quote through yelp, First Class Plumbing offered to come out to my home to give me a quote. Their quote, which was the same as the actual cost, was lower than the other companies that just emailed me a quote based on the plumbing issues I needed fixed.
In addition, Scheduling was easy....which isn't always the case with home fixes, and work was done efficiently.

I came back to Dearborn, from my place in Macomb, found out my garbage disposal went out...of all times, on a Monday morning. These guys fixed it on Tuesday before 1 pm. Quick turnaround from the initial call to the actual service. You just have to be flexible, if you want the service done quickly. Two plumbers came, one was named Julian. They were very professional and personable. I will call them again and refer my friends in Dearborn to them.

I am not a big fan of leaving message but I did and A&E Pluming promptly called back.  My call was returned promptly.  They say 24 hrs service and I guess they mean it.  They came out on the same day of my call, a Saturday at that, and got the job done.  Ben looked over the job and got right to it.  I was concerned that there would be slow dragging of the feet since it was billed by the hour but not at all, nice and steady work.  I am impressed with the work and professionalism.  Our change to a gas stove from an electric stove is complete and we are ready to rock. It is nice to go back to gas after so many years of electric.  Thanks A&E, well done!

One star too many!! Left word on 11/1 no callback their voicemail claims callback by 9am next business day!! What a lie!! I called again 11/3 left  message finally call returned!! The website sys servicing metro Detroit since 1937 again lies!! They don't service Detroit!! Another company that redlines!! False advertising on website!! Also states response time 20 mins!! Lie!!

Please remove Detroit from your service area & state you only service the burbs!

Their prices are very high, found them through Home Depot.  They said they are high because they guarantee everything but don't most business do that?  Plus, they put in a hot water heater for us and put a huge company sticker on our furnace which we did not buy from or had serviced from them?????  I tried to peel it off and am still working on it.  They also put their sticker on the Hot Water Tank but that is understandable.  HWT is working fine, no complaints about actual service.
