I contacted East Plumbing with a request to fix both my leaking bathtub as well as my kitchen sink. Within the hour Andre was at my home, and completed the work in much less time than expected. Excellent service, both quick and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend to anyone requiring plumbing related repairs.

Joey arrived on time and was very professional.
When he arrived it was pouring outside so I didn't think anybody would go out there while raining like that and work on unclogging the drain pipe from the sump pump going to the drain in the backyard.
That is exactly what he did and the job was perfect at the end. I was not only very happy and satisfied with the job but also very impressed that he actually went out there and completed a job under heavy rain like that.
This is who I would call from now on for any plumbing jobs inside or outside the house.

had them install a kitchen sink faucet that was a deep sink and hard for me to access as I am a senior citizen. Also I needed a leaking gas pipe fitting replaced at the same time, both jobs were done in speedy time and was a quality repair and installation. Never had a problem later with any leaks or other things. They cleaned up after the job and the price quoted was very reasonable. I now have another new problem and will be calling them back.

My toilet recently became backed up - and no matter how much Drano and plunging I did, I couldn't get it unclogged. I finally gave in and asked for plumbing referrals. One of my friends recommended Nelson Brothers. Since they were close to home, I decided to give them a try. I'm really glad I did - the person who answered the phone was friendly, and scheduled my appointment for the next morning.

The plumber who came out was thorough and kind, and worked quickly to get the problem fixed. It's always scary to be a single woman and get any kind of repair work done, because I always feel like I'm getting ripped off; but he was at my house for over two hours, and got the job fixed - and it ended costing me less than I had anticipated, which was nice.

Needed to replace the valve for our washer water supply line.  After speaking with the answering service, Mitch called me back within an hour and a half of the phone call - while he was finishing up another job.  Bob was sent to come to our residence within an hour.
Bob assessed the situation and got right to work.  He showed me how to turn off the main water supply and also drained the water from our faucet outside.  (It was winter and he was a little worried about our outside pipes.)  He answered any questions I had about the work he was doing and even gave me some tips on what to do the next time I encountered a similar situation.  He was extremely polite,  friendly, and he got the job done quickly.  The cost ended up being under the estimate I was given.  Bob's service exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend him to my neighbors and use Mitch the Plumber again.

I have contacted this company to replace my saddle valve for my refrigerator water line. Steve was very professional and the price he charged was reasonable from other plumbers in the area. Came out to fix a gas leak within hours on a Sunday. Very professional and took care of our gas leak within an hour. Highly recommend and will refer anyone who is in need of plumbing or gas leak issues.

I have been buying properties for 17 years and Michael accomplished what few other plumbers will even attempt. he was referred to me from a friend in common and went and looked at my clogged drain the same day. I had six inches of water in the basement AND my stairs to the basement collapsed from the previous plumber who attempted it and broke them with his heavy equipment. Called Doug Brock to come take a look at my water heater that wouldn't power on.  He was booked for the next 3 days so instead offered to help trouble shoot over the phone! He asked us to text him photos of the model and walked us through some basic trouble shooting and was able to help us fix the problem!   His helpfulness, honesty and great customer service not only saved us money but earned our trust for all future plumbing needs!  Thanks so much!!

Warning!  Before you let any plumber dig into your floor - get a second opinion.
Clean water leaks usually don't require digging into floor to repair.

The short story is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The long story is as follows.

In mid-March, I noticed a leak in one of my bathrooms as well as an issue with the hot water in a different bathroom. After trying a few things myself, I was pressed for time and contacted Anytime Plumbing to come to my house in Southfield. My technician was John G and he seemed to be a pretty nice guy, although I questioned his assessments.  

He started with the hot water issue in the back bathroom. The shower would get warm-ish at best. There would be one burst of hot water and then showering would be absolutely miserable.
John decided that a part had gone bad inside the on-off/warm-cold handle in my shower. He didn't have the part, so he went somewhere to get it, came back, and installed it. No hot water. His assessment was that I needed a new hot water heater because my current hot water heater runs out of water fast. That's a quote from my receipt. I had an instant hot water heater. There was no reservoir full of water to run out. Still, I agreed that the water heater was failing. My belief all along was that the water heater needed replacing, but John wanted to try this other part. He tried and it didn't work. That happens sometimes, so we went to the next issue.

Moving on to the leaking bathroom. John came in and decided he knew the leak was coming from a knob on my old jacuzzi tub that controlled the jets. Now, this knob was located in an area that was hit by water when both the bath spout and the shower head were on. However, the leak happened only when the shower head was on. I addressed this concern with John--why would this be the leaking area when two sources of water hit it and only one led to leaking? His idea was that the water pressure was harder from the shower head than from the spout. I disagreed, but I let him do his thing because he's the plumber and I'm not. Anyway, based on the location of the knob, he had to cut a hole in the bedroom wall on the other side of the tub for access. Not a big deal to me. He needed to be able to visualize the plumbing. So he started chiseling at my wall and then decided he didn't like that location. Then he measured the area he wanted to cut and marked it all out with a pencil (I will clean this off the wall when I'm done, he said). He cut a 7x7 hole in my wall and believed he identified the leak. He put some lock-tight around the knob, slapped an access panel in the hole, and called the job complete. We couldn't confirm the leak was resolved for 24 hours because it needed time to set.

Guess what the charge was--$425. Yup, I paid $425 to have a new access panel cut into my wall, a $95 part replaced that didn't need replacing, and some lock-tight squeezed around a knob. Not to mention the access panel wall also had a nice quarter-sized hole randomly in the middle where he initially started chiseling as well as pencil marks everywhere like a toddler had been playing. John G never did clean it off as he said he would and now I have drywall work to do. I also paid for the part for the shower that I didn't need and the time it took him to go get the part [that I didn't need]. Had I known I'd be paying for the part even if it didn't work OR the time it took him to drive and get it, I never would have let him do it. When I inspected the shower as he left, the part was actually installed incorrectly--so you couldn't even adjust the heat to the hotter setting! It was on the coldest setting when he tested to see if the new part brought hotter water! Worse yet, the leak continued 24 hours later when I tested it. John G did say I could call and have him come back if it continued to leak, but there was no way I was letting him back into my house. So, for $425 to address a leak and cold water, I was left with a leak and cold water.

On a positive note, John G did quote me $1,100 for a new hot water heater installation. That's a fair price. Still, $425 is nearly half that and this company was not getting any further business from me. They shouldn't get yours either.

Another reason to go with Aaron Swift Plumbing ... apparently I over paid my bill by $100 and they mailed me a check.  I would of never known.  Thanks!

Never use this company. They're here to scam you. I had a leak in the faucet that was attached to the wall. They told my tenants while I was out of town that they needed to replace the faucet and the pipe in the wall. I came back and assessed it and got it fixed for $60 parts and $80 for labor.

This is the second time this has happened to me. I own multiple rentals and this company does this crap all the time. Somebody gotta put them out of business.

Overpriced and uninterested in what is best for the client, only interested in inflated price.
Very disappointing but a blessing in disguise because I learned through another plumber that I do not need a liner as suggested by T&G. Ended up costing $200 to clean out the line rather than $1600 T&G wanted to do the same thing. T&G wanted $17K for lining the pipe, another plumber was $10K. They definitely shoot for the sky at Thornton&Grooms. Buyer beware!

I wrote a bad review a few days ago regarding my overcharge quote for a Kohler kitchen faucet.  Well, today I received a call from the General Manager, Marcus, and what a very pleasant surprise. He read the review and checked into the price and agreed it was high. With further checking with the tech, he realized that he quoted us the wrong brand of faucet.  And for our trouble, he is refunding the monies we paid for the service call.  He explained the problem and apologized for the error.  This means a lot to me and has renewed my faith in Hoover Electric.  To take the trouble to make a phone call to me and then offer me a refund, shows they care about their customers and reputation. I purchased a new furnace and AC unit from Reliance 3 years ago and tonight was my sixth service call.  Every winter the furnace fails to start up and every spring the AC unit doesnt work.  At least this technician was honest - he admitted he didnt know what the problem is or how to fix it.  He also admitted that the technicians are not trained to properly fix some of the product that Reliance sells to its customers.  Last month it took 3 different technicians over a week to fix the furnace (each one ordered the wrong parts).  I spoke to their customer service manager to get a credit or to just replace the equipment and she still hasnt gotten back to me.  Stay away from Reliance!!!!!!
