Very happy with Queen City Plumbing and I will use them again. I had two slow dripping pipes in the basement. Mike showed up the same day and fixed them within an hour. Very amicable and professional. Hire with confidence.

I used Halpin plumbing to redo the water line from the street to my house. Darrel came out and gave me an estimate and explained exactly what he would do. His estimate was much more reasonable than others I received. The work was scheduled for yesterday and he said he would be there at 8:30. He showed up right on time (actually a minute early) and got right to work. He worked hard all day and was complete quicker than he estimated. He did a really good job and was great to work with. Looking back, since he finished by 3pm I should have had him give me estimates on other plumbing stuff around the house, as I would totally use Halpin plumbing again.

I I wouldn't give one star but I had to give a rating ! They came out worked 4 hours on the job . Supposed to be professional . He was doing a drain clean out . He couldn't find the clean out . So I found it in about less than 2 minutes . I had to pull the toilet that I just installed . Because he couldn't find a clean out . He started sneaking my drain . Couldn't get the snake through and told me the bottom of my pipe was gone and that I would have to pay a minimum of $8,000 to have my whole line dug up. I called a different company they came out they found that the clean out cap had fell down in the pipe they pulled the pipe out cleaned out my roots in about an hour and everything's fine . So I don't have to dig my whole yard up . I called and talked to the owner and he told me there was nothing he was going to do to help me he would not refund my $275 so I ended up paying $275 + 550 to have a simple drain clean out so no don't have Spartan do your work for you !

I'm very impressed with Jack and Jeff at Anderson Hills Plumbing. They have been very helpful even though I didn't even hire them because they do not do the type of work I needed. They have been great at helping me sort out my problem and not be taken advantage of by another plumber who tried to sell me on expensive services that are not really needed.

Had a 40 gallon gas water heater installed the other day at their LOW FLAT RATE PRICING.
Quote was $1200.00. Gave me 50.00 dollars off for not having to haul it off. If that sounds
LOW to you please get at least two other quotes. Oh by the way they did drop another $50.00
off the bill just to make me feel like I got a good deal. It didn't work.I couldn't change the stars. Two at best.

Ryan and his team were amazing! They just wrapped up installing two mini split AC units in our upstairs bedrooms as well as a new furnace. They discovered some shoddy installation from the previous home owner, but put in an extra two hours today to meet the original two-day timeline! They really go the extra mile. For example, our walls are plaster and very tricky to cut cleanly. Ryan patched the couple imperfections, sanded them, repeated a couple times, and now it is perfect. They were all friendly, courteous, on-time, and everything came in at a good price. I will be contacting them for all of my Heating/AC needs.

I have a downspout drain partially occluded so I called Benjamin Franklin up to do a service call. The would not disclose prices over the phone because they weren't sure what the obvious problem would be. They show up, it's obvious what the problem is so he pulls out his book... $400 to snake out a 25 foot, easily accessible pipe from the street. It was almost as if I waited around all day for some stranger to show up just so I could hand over $50. I really feel like I was just robbed. Whole transaction took less than 3 minutes. He backed into the driveway, walked up to the door, opened his book, left with my $50.

I called two other recommended plumbers for my urgent leak, one could come in 7 days and one could could come in the morning as my basement continued to flood.
Called roto rooter and I could barely make it home from work before they got there. Amazing speed and service. Quoted and paid $180 for a new toilet water line, $1 over my wife's estimate and hundreds less than I thought I was in for.
Kudos to this great company!

By the recommendation of a neighbor, we had four issues we wanted addressed by G&R. We had poor water pressure, two utility drains had had leaks and our water heater was not hot enough. 1&2) The water leaks in the utility sinks seemed to have disappeared since I looked at them a couple of weeks prior. 3)Per Adam, he adjusted the water pressure down to 80 psi as it was actually too high. Strangely enough, the internal water pressure did visually increase. Not sure what happened there. I am not sure if his adjustment just allowed the water to flow? I'm not sure but we now had normal water pressure. 4) Adam, the apprentice (by our request and the advisement of Randy) adjusted the water heater temperature up past the 125F (even though we only get 105F at the tap). That helped as in 10 minutes it was noticeably warmer. It was now at 125F.
Randy recommended we replace the expansion tank as they typically only last 5 years and he said ours was bad. For $280, he would replace the tank. I didn't second guess it and said okay. I understand they need to be paid for something. It took them less than 10 minutes to get the tank and replace it. As my wife was getting them a check, I was surprised to learn that the visit was $630! The trip fee of $165 is NOT waived even though they did true work! The $280 was the price just for the tank, plus the labor. We later found that this a $40 part at any plumbing or home supply. Per Randy, They are all the same and only last 5 years.
Randy kept selling saying he does a lot of work in these upscale neighborhoods. He wanted to sell us a water treatment system, but he could not get due to lack of supply. All he was doing was looking for a way to make more money!
Two days later, we had no hot water. I called up and spoke with Adam as he was on call for Saturday work. He said that it would likely need a new water heater costing $1400 to $2400. We asked if the service call charge would be waived. He said No.
I called a new plumber! He came out and reset the water heater. We have hot water now. No charge!
Never again will I use G&R!
