Called to get quote for snaking bathtub drain, got quoted a minimum of $145. Competitors are charging about half of that. This is about a 5-10 minute job for a plumber with tools/ experience.

In contact with Constantin in the beginning and once we decided to go with this company, Eugene came to install. He's great! Very nice, knowledgeable, friendly. He took off his shoes without me asking. He told us step by step what to do if there are issues, etc. We are pretty excited to use our reverse osmosis!

A/C not working suddenly ... of course on the hottest day in months.  Significant Health issue makes this a major problem for me ...
I called THA in early in the day ... Maria was wonderful, pleasant, helpful, understanding ... and within two hours was able to schedule a technician to come out that afternoon.
Enrique (Ricky) showed up promptly as scheduled .... did a great job of diagnosing the problem ... and in less than an hour, he completed the diagnosis; replaced the needed part; and had cold air flowing!  Great job!
And finally, the manager Hector was very helpful with providing a reasonable price for this great urgent service!

Chris and his associate arrived on time, very efficient, fixed the plumbing issue, provided me suggestions and recommendations of services that should be taken care of at another time. If I could give this company more stars I would. We tried two other plumbing companies before them, and honestly the customer service and the quality of work can't compare. We moved into a house built in the late 50's that needed a lot of work. These guys went above and beyond in a time where we were really stressed, and honestly I'll kind of miss them hanging around.

Friendly, knowledgable service. Arrived late on a Friday and quickly found an electrical problem I had and fixed it right away. A little on the pricy side for how easy a fix it turned out to be but worth it.

I called because there seemed to be some sort of leaking underneath my kitchen sink. Robert was able to come in 20 minutes to take a look.

I appreciated Robert's honesty. He told me that the issue was outside my apartment and that the problem was the HOA common drain, full well knowing that every HOA has their own plumber they contract work to. This was during COVID so I'm sure business wasn't great so for him to be honest and not just say some bs to get a quick buck was very much appreciated.

I did not get to see Robert's work firsthand but his character and honesty was outstanding and for that I would highly recommend.

$300.00 labor to install a heater/AC thermostat.  It took him 20 min.
I neglected to ask for a quote first.  Big mistake.  Otherwise, very professional.  I have recently moved from Alhambra to Santee.
------------The supervisor just contacted me and promptly corrected the mistake in billing.  I do appreciate his quick response.

For ~ 15 years, I used ideal plumbing for all plumbing and HVAC needs.  Every year when Ideal provided maintenance on my central air conditioning system there were problems with the pipe freezing outside, no cooling, and leaking. Because ideal guarantees the work for a specific period of time, they would need to return and attempt to fix the issues which they never could resolve. However, 2 years ago I had my water heater replaced by home depot (as ideal could not replace the water heater for 2 days). The company that replaced the water heater also serviced the center air conditioner.  Since that time, I have not had any problems with the HVAC.  No freezing of pipes, no failure to cool, no issue what so ever. Because of the inability to determine the problem for the HVAC, the owner of ideal informed me that he would no longer service the HVAC system.  Interesting that because they could not solve a problem (which another company resolved), they refuse to provide service to the customer.

This week, I contacted ideal plumbing to replace 2 bathroom faucets and 2 toilets. The female who answered the phone stated there was an issue with the computer system and placed me on hold.  After a few minutes, she returned and stated, We are so busy that we are not providing service to the 92128 area any longer. Imagine my surprise.  I asked, Are you saying that you no longer want me as a customer?. She responded, No, I didn't say that..only that we are no longer providing service to the 92128 area.  

A few minutes later, a friend of mine in the 92128 area contacted ideal and requested service.  Her home is less than 1/2 mile from mine.  However, the same representative responded, Yes we provide service to 92128 and Ideal was happy to schedule her service. Of course, my friend declined the offer.

Therefore, I would not recommend ideal plumbing and heating.  Not only could they not fix a simple HVAC problem, but it is my opinion that they demonstrated dishonesty to a customer.  I would have more respect for the company if they had just stated, Because we could not fix the HVAC, we do not want to service your home.

Our tenant called to tell us their toilet was running slowly.  Larry F from Anderson Plumbing show up on time.  He was professional and well spoken.  It turned out the tenant had poured some art project down the toilet and then let it solidify.  These situations can be tricky in front of a tenant.  Larry was very discreet and allowed us to deal with the tenant.  Anderson's services are not cheap but they are up front.  $42 diagnosis and $99 drain clearing.  You never feel you have been upsold or blindsided.  Larry felt bad that he was unable to completely resolve our problem but he gave us a coupon for a free camera inspection after we replace the toilet to make sure the ART PROJECT did not leave any residue.  Thank you, Larry
