Top notch company! We purchased our home late last year and wanted to have the AC tuned up prior to the upcoming heatwave. Same Day had technician Sean Crumpacker at our home the following morning. Sean was extremely friendly and professional and he took all Covid-19 precautions including face mask, gloves, and booties. He was very informative about the workings of our HVAC system and followed up his visit with photographs of the work performed and recommendations for preventative maintenance to keep our unit running efficiently.

I was very impressed with Same Day's customer service and prompt response time. We highly recommend Same Day and will 100% be using them again.

They sent out a technician who doesn't know how to do his job. He told me my entire garbage disposal needed to be replaced. I ordered the part and scheduled the date. My husband provided his second opinion and it was as simple as pushing a button. Dissatisfied with this company. Please hire people who know what they are doing so another home owner doesn't have to deal with this incompetence.

My AC was not working right. I called, Larisa answered the call and scheduled a visit for the Same Day, Jeffrey came to the house to discuss my repair or replacement options. With a quick look at my undersized system and an honest evaluation we found a package that was right and they were able to complete the job the next day. Rich and his crew showed up on time and went straight to work. By the end of the day our new system was cooling our family. They placed tarps down where they needed to walk, wore face masks and placed boot covers on their feet when they entered my home. I requested the Nest thermostat, they promised it would be installed, since they did not have one on the truck. Sean came on a Sunday to relight my water heater and dryer pilot lights, he also installed the Nest and we could not be happier with the service, professionalism and the quality of everyone's work including Larisa, Jeffrey, Rich, the installation crew and Sean. Woke up at 2am to discover my AC died.. knowing it was expected to be in the high 90s later in the day I needed someone to fix things ASAP. Adrian and Elias came out for the save. They were both incredibly kind, respectful and professional. They took pictures and walked me through every step of the process giving me multiple options for resolution. You can tell they really knew what they were doing, I was very impressed with their knowledge with all things HVAC. Arrived at 10am and by 1pm my house was cooling down again, as a point of reference,my AC is 27 years old,so that was significant. If I have another emergency I will not hesitate to call them back out. Very pleased with the service I received.

I had a 1970's heater go out in my home. I had no idea what a nightmare it would be to get a furnace replaced. My first estimate was from the guys that wear gloves. They were outrageous with their bid. I received two other bids and had nothing but problems attached to these bids. First, nobody could guarantee that they could provide a furnace within a month, due to supply chain issues. Next, there are some ridiculous environmental laws recently passed in California, making whatever furnaces are available, unable to meet California's ridiculous new laws. That is when I came across Same Day Heating and Air, located on Clairemont Mesa Blvd, 92124. From the first moment that the phone was answered, I knew I had found the right place. The sales people were genuine, honest, straight shooting, no nonsense, angels. They told me what they could offer, which was best for my home and my budget, and delivered exactly what was promised, no surprises. Well, there was one surprise. It was the AMAZING installers. They were unbelievably professional, hard working, paid great attention to detail, went above and beyond with their perfection at installation, and to top it all off, were kind, considerate, polite, and showed that they loved what they did for a living. There are no words to describe how absolutely awesome this company is and I would give them 100 star rating, if it were a thing. Jose Manuel and Jeff Freeman were my installers and they were the best of the best!!

Wyatt was the technician who arrived on time with 30 minute notice. He found that the problem with our heating system was different from what we had been led to believe by SDG&E. My AC went out in the middle of the week (and figures during record-breaking temps in San Diego) I work from home now so being comfortable with the East County heat is a must. I went online to find a good deal on getting my AC fixed, found these guys on Yelp. I requested a quote and got a response in minutes.

All I can say is wow, I am incredibly impressed with the service and speed that Same Day Heating and Air Conditioning provided! Mike got to my house early within the allotted time and was quick to get started on figuring out why my unit stopped working. I just moved in this past August and was unsure about how he could get to the unit on the roof, and he quickly adapted to the situation using Google Maps to find the access point! (10/10 for being so quick-witted with this!)

Mike was a pleasure to work with throughout the process, he was very honest with what was going on with my unit and told me upfront what should be done to ensure a machine that runs well into the future. The price was reasonable as well and I was pleasantly surprised at the end how much I paid to get my air fixed up for the summer months! Hired Same Day Heating and A/C to do their promotion tune up. I was happy and received exceptional service as a first time customer. My technician was Rich. He was educational, explained what he was doing in the process, wore a mask, wore booties, and overall polite and knowledgeable. I'm not the most appliance savvy person - I don't always follow the recommended upkeep of my tools, machines, and appliances. But when I turned my AC on I could tell that something wasn't right - it felt more like a fan than an AC. That night I went to Same Day Heating & Air's website and sent in a request to have an inspection. The next morning I received an email and a text message from the company asking for more information about the house, the furnace location, and what the problem was. It was so easy to communicate with them about what's going on. We quickly scheduled an appointment for a convenient time; they had so many open appointments it was great to not need to stress over it. Leading up to the appointment, I received multiple confirmation and reminder notifications, which was great!

The morning of the appointment, I received an email, text, and phone call from the technician. One interesting part was that the email had the photo of the technician so I knew I wasn't letting a stranger/imposter into my house!

Wyatt was on time and really respectful of my home, he only went into the areas necessary and wore booties over his shoes to keep my house clean. The whole inspection took about 30-45 minutes and he was able to get my AC back on! He showed me what the problem was and provided me with various levels of repair as well as his contact information if we want to consider replacing it entirely (it is a REALLY old unit). I didn't feel pressured into buying a package; he emailed me the details of all the options as well as the photos he took during the inspection! Thanks for being so kind, Wyatt!

I don't have many companies to compare this service to, but I had a truly lovely experience and would definitely use them again!

These guys did an absolute great job on our new AC system.

Starting with Mike, who came and found exactly what we needed and offered it at a very reasonable price, to Sean who did the fine tuning to get our system up and running smoothly. Same Day was professional and really made it feel like they had as much invested in the project being a success as we did. I now have a quality system and don't have to worry during the hottest time of the year. Two thumbs up, and Would definitely recommended for any A/C swap outs.

I reached out to three local HVAC companies in San Diego to get quotes for a new HVAC System. Two of the three provided quotes for a new entire system. Only Same Day Heating and Air really took the time to listen to what I wanted and ended up providing me a quote to spend my money efficiently. We ended up with a much more efficient system with some new and some Exisiting parts. In addition to the hardware and price, the service team from techs to billing have solidified partnership for years to come. So much my brother also just installed a new system too!

Same Day Heating & AC has been great from the beginning. From Christina who answered the phone, to Ryan who came out to quote my job as well Adrian & Chapo who were out yesterday to install my system, this has been a great experience.

I had received a quote from one of their competitors...ridiculously expensive and BIG time hard-core pressure to purchase. I'm in sales...I know that coffee is for closers, but I would never pressure my customers the way I felt pressured by them. So I asked my plumber (shout out to Bill's Plumbing Service) and he had used Same Day. I figure if my plumber was happy with them, I would give them a call.

All great communicators, on time, masked/gloved/bootied. I didn't realized that my furnace was hard wired and that the breaker my furnace was on was also the breaker my wifi was on. The guys were able to keep my wifi on so that I could work a full day. Adrian & Chapo were very nice, polite & knowledgeable. I have white carpet...they had drop cloths down almost immediately. I have a cat...they always made certain that the door was closed so she wouldn't make a break for it.

Sean did an outstanding job! He called when he was 20 minutes out to let us know he was on his way and got right to work replacing our thermostat. I had unknowingly tripped a fuse in the furnace when I tried to install another thermostat a few weeks ago and he quickly diagnosed the problem and remedied the situation. He was finished in an hour and ran my credit card for the charge - which was as quoted and very reasonable! I would highly recommend Same Day Heating and Air Conditioning and Sean their technician!

Since SDG&E doesn't do gas appliance safety checks anymore, I had the good fortune to call SAME DAY HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING. It was easy to book an appointment (with a short 2-hour window) and the service was fantastic! Rich Cureton arrived right on time, after giving me a courtesy call to let me know that he was on his way. He wore a mask to protect us and booties over his shoes to protect our floors. After opening the furnace front, he took the time to show us the parts of the furnace that he would be inspecting, and he also inspected the ducting in the attic. He quietly went about his work, gave us good advice about economic filter replacement, provided us with a filter that he had on his truck, labeled the furnace with the type of filter we should buy in the future, and showed us how to correctly replace future filters ourselves. He took photos of every step of his inspection and then reviewed them with us before writing up the invoice for the $39 inspection. There was no high pressure salesmanship going on, Instead, he suggested that, sometime in the future, we might want to invest in a gable-mounted attic fan to keep that area and the rest of our home cooler in the hot summer months. He provided me with a free quote, which I will keep on file for future use. This was A+ service and a most reasonable cost to assure safe use of our furnace in the upcoming winter months. Thank you to Rich and SAME DAY! We will definitely call you again!

We noticed a funny noise with our furnace this morning. Called Same Day and they got us in their schedule this afternoon. Sean, the technician, was super! He checked out the furnace and assured us there were no mechanical problems. Then he cleaned out a few things, including a replacing very dirty filter, and everything seems fine now. I had a Air conditioning unit installed in April, 2021. On September 14, 2021 I had leak in my bathroom ceiling which was below the air conditioning unit in the attic. When I checked the unit a PVC pipe was dislodged and caused the leak. When I called Same Day Heating, they contacted me and quickly fixed the unit. Our AC unit went down at the peak of a heatwave in the middle of August. We called several local HVAC repair services, but they all said they were booked up until the middle of September. We called Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning, and they told us they too were experiencing a delay in their response times. They said they could, however, be out within 72 hours.

We booked the appointment, and three days later, Jeff Carlon came to our house and quickly diagnosed the problem. Jeff had all the parts needed to fix the problem on his truck, and he had the system up and running in less than 30 minutes.

Jeff was very professional. He explained the problem and solution to us and provided a detailed quote before starting the work. The cost of the repair was reasonable, and the customer service from beginning to end was outstanding.

We have already recommended Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning to three other local families having problems with their AC units. If and when we have problems in the future, we know who we will call first!

My thermostat stopped working so I contacted Home Depot who connected me with an installer through Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning. Rich Cureton came out, on schedule, and was efficient and very pleasant to work with! He took the extra time to explain to me different parts of my system so that I can maintain it going forward. He even was considerate enough to wear gloves and booties so not to track dirt into the house. He fixed the problem in no time and did not try and sell me additional items that I did not want. I interviewed seven other companies before hiring Same Day. I interviewed: Paradise, Transform, Coastal, Prestigious, ASI, Bill Howe and Anderson but Same Day was what I was looking for. I needed a unit that was quiet (my neighbors are all close). I needed a unit that was financially sound (covid has hurt my business). I needed a unit installed quickly (heatwave was coming that week-end). I needed a unit that had good warranty (only Same Day offered 12 years labor). I needed a slim line unit (our yard is narrow but these units tend to be more expensive). Lastly, I needed some one who actually knew what they were talking about. It is vital for me to hire someone I'd trust because I'm a realtor and I get asked by my clients referral such as a unit installer all the time. I had Anthony come to my house. He was no B.S. and didn't even try to up sell me. I ended up getting my heater replaced as well as it was 20 years old. Carlos and Adrian came to my house. They were polite, Covid compliant, on time and fast. I got a new AC within two days!!! Jim, the owner (I think), helped us resolved some issues we had with our power wall the next day. They answer their phone and do the job. I had other installer giving me quotes practically double the price. Others who told me I needed an electrician before an installer would come. I had one company say that my ceiling attic entrance was too small so they would have to enlarge it. I had one installer that had absolutely no clue what he was doing - I could have sold him an AC. In this process I got really educated. I almost went with ASI but they were over $4,000 for the same plan. The entire process went well except my cat went up their ladder into the attic without anyone noticing. She was stuck up their for over six hours. At around 10PM as we were going to sleep and very disturbed that we couldn't find our cat (daughter crying), we finally heard a faint meow. It sounded like she was in the wall. That was a total panic for my daughter. I got the ladder and found her in the attic. NOTE: if you have a cat - lock your cat in a room or keep her/him outside until installers are done. My gas furnace from 1983 stopped working, called Same Day and they showed up...same day! Jeff gave me options to replace a part or replace the furnace. While way more costly, I chose to replace the furnace as a long-term investment and to future-proof my condo. Adrian and Chapo showed up two days later and did a great job removing old furnace, insulating, installing new furnace, and cleaning up. They followed all COVID precautions (they wore mask throughout and wore shoe covers). I did have an issue with the new furnace acting up after the install, but Same Day has great warranties and customer service. Sean C. deemed my issue not normal and easily found the problem with my thermostat wiring in the circuitboard and even showed me some thermostat wiring that was unhooked that I didn't know existed and hooked that up for me. It gave me extra features and constant power to my Nest thermostat. He introduced me to the fan-only function of the furnace! A big thank you to Sean C. ! Overall, I highly recommend spending the cash on Same Day, a quality company with great customer service vs using a home warranty plan's contractors (which most people have terrible experiences with, including myself!)

Justin and Erick did a great job of servicing and replacing the aging components (fuse disconnect, capacitors and hard start kits) with the goal of prolonging the life of the two aging AC units. Sam Day Heating & Air Conditioning installed central air in our home, adding a condenser and coil to an existing furnace and duct system. They did a great job! That staff was friendly and responsive and was able to answer all of my questions and concerns over phone, text and email. I rarely write reviews on yelp, but Sean M. From Same Day Heating and Air Conditioning did an outstanding job from start to finish! Sean got here and figured out that The fan motor went out and had to be replaced.

Once the part arrived, Sean came back and literally fixed the problem in less than 30 min. Cold air is finally blowing! On his way out, he noticed that my garage door had an issue opening/closing. What amazed me was he solved the problem himself! So not only do I have a working A/C again, my garage door doesn't make loud sounds anymore! Bravo to the customer service Sean displayed. I can't say enough about the great job this company did in replacing my heating and air conditioner. I received bids from several companies, but from the time Anthony, he was courteous and professional, gave me an itemized quote in the spot printed out. Explained everything clearly. I was not disappointed when the technicians arrived 4 days later. Again courteous Carlos and Adrien arrived in time, with face masks and in clean uniforms. They assessed my home and placed coverings over everything. When they found a problem with the size unit I was getting, they notified the company, received a replacement immediately. And.... it was an upgraded unit at no charge. Who does that!
Everything was completed and working in one day. The technicians cleaned and replaced and cleaned everything perfectly and even vacuumed the yard when finished.
Oh, and they have the best warranty. I have put them on speed dial, and if you have a need fir this service or repairs, I would highly recommended this company. Again thank you Anthony, Carlos and Adrien.

Our air condition compressor went out called a technician had it looked at and was told my whole a/c unit needed to be replaced because of it's age. We called several companies and unfortunately their estimates were way too high for our budget so we called The Home depot they sent Same Day Heating and Air to give us an estimate. They worked on a reasonable price with great warranties on parts and labor with us so we decided to go with them. Installers Troy and David were great They were very professional and knowledgeable in their field we are very satisfied with same day with the exception of their salesman. He was very attentive before contract was signed but once signed we had a couple of questions for him called left 3 messages. He never return our calls. it appears that once he had our business he no longer found it necessary to respond. Never the less we give Same Day 5 stars They were great?

Before I called Same Day, I had 2 other major HVAC companies here in San Diego come out to try and diagnose issues I was having with my A/C unit and neither of them had any clue what the trouble was. I finally called Same Day and requested a technician with lots of experience and so they sent out Jeff Carlon who has 20 years of it. He figured out the problem in about 45 min. The issue was complex. He ordered the parts and then Sean Matthews (who also has 20 years of experience) came out and did the repairs about a week later. He found a couple other issues which he fixed onsite. My A/C is blowing colder and running quieter and more power efficient than ever. Both Jeff and Sean were excellent - on time, courteous, safe (wore masks), and really knew their stuff. A+ on communication as well. Pricing was very fair. I would recommend Same Day 10/10 times! Don't bother calling anyone else but these guys.

I scheduled a tech to come out and visit weeks back to receive a quote on central air instillation. The representative (Sean) was very polite and mentioned that he'd like a co-worker (Ponchó) to come and review before offering me a quote which we agreed would be early Thursday morning of last week... Ended up getting stiffed with a no call / no show!

I called Sean to ask him what happened and was informed he'd look into the issue. Later that day I received a call from his Manager (Jim) who apologized and mentioned that Sean and Panch spoke about reviewing my place but did not inform dispatch to schedule my return visit.

Disappointed, I understood and re-scheduled with Jim the visit for this morning to finally receive a quote... Guess what happened? NO CALL / NO SHOW AGAIN!

I've fielded offers from other companies and understand that the install may not be a walk in the park but to do this to a potential customer (not once, but TWICE!) is outright disrespectful. I'd expect someone to at least have the decency to call and say to me the task may be too difficult for this company to take on. Heck, I'd even appreciate lying to me and sending over an astronomical quote. But to ignore someone who's just trying to upgrade their home before the summer months (with a newborn for Christ's sake) shows me in my brief interaction with this company that I'm better off looking elsewhere to spent my hard earned money.

An outstanding organization. From the first day when we met Anthony (Technician and for lack of a better description, a Sales Representative for the company) the dealings with Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning was professional and enjoyable. They worked with us to come up with a proposal that we liked and we were able to move forward with. We especially liked Anthony's proposals. I say proposals because they were broken down into three different options and specifically spelled out clearly what each respective proposal provided (to add, much better that the four other estimates that I received from different companies). Plus, Anthony worked with us regarding getting the price to an amount that we liked. The other part of this experience we especially liked was the installation teams professional installation performance and friendly / courteous attitude. Dave and Josh (Sorry I don't know their last names) worked with us through out the installation process and made the installation period an experience that we actually enjoyed. Having to deal with contractors in your house is not always a pleasant experience, especially during this COVID pandemic period. Dave and Josh were always courteous, conscious of the requirements dealing with COVID and kept their working areas clean and protected while they worked in our home. Plus at the end of each day, they make a conscious effort to ensure all messes were cleaned up. Overall a pleasant experience and bottom line, ending with a quality heating and air conditioning (HVAC) product.

To add. I want to especially say that Same Day was especially professional and accommodating regarding a couple discrepancies that were identified later on. For one, my wife didn't like the unit's thermostat that was originally installed and she found one on Amazon that she preferred. Same Day obtained that thermostat and installed it at no additional cost. Plus there were a couple minor installation discrepancies that was identified by the City Permit Inspector. Again, Same Day resolved these items quickly and at no cost. The Technicians (Sean and Joseph) that took care of these items were excellent, friendly and very professional. You may be thinking that this is a negative thing that they missed these items. I say not, it was resolved quickly, professionally and at not cost. I really appreciate this fact and it was accomplished (identified) via a 2nd subcontracted company that double checked the final product.

One last commit. I want to add, that when Sean came out to correct some of the minor discrepancies, he thought he smelled gas. I did not. However, Sean was persistent, checking throughout the unit with his sensor test equipment. He finally did find a small leak. It was difficult to find and very difficult to correct, but he did it. This was extremely import to us and I really appreciate the effort of Sean to find and correct this issue. Thank you Sean!!!!

We are super glad we picked Same Day for our A/C install. They were professionals from start to finish and went above and beyond to complete the job to our utmost satisfaction. We worked with Bianca (senior technician) to get an estimate and she took time to do it meticulously, explaining everything along the way. Super friendly and communicative. Also the company kept sending us updates on technician arrivals, etc.

On the day of the install, Jeff, Jamie, Rich, and Troy came on time and completed the job efficiently by the end of the day. They installed a central A/C, Quiet Cool whole house fan, and an attic fan. Jeff took time to explain everything about the install and the city inspection very thoroughly. We really appreciated their patience as we had a lot of questions.

All the guys wore masks and booties thorough out the process and were conscious of the COVID precautions. They cleaned up very neatly after the job.

I paid for an HVAC tune up and found out that they didn't do any tune up at all. What is really is, is a full system evaluation with the intent to find things to repair or replace. It is basically a sales visit. This appears to be a misreprestation that is industry wide.

We had our ductwork replaced by Same Day. We had a 2-year old HVAC system that was underpowered for the square footage of our house, and had only one return for a 2400sf house. Sean, the estimator, spent quite some time under the house analyzing the system, and took photos. I priced the job with 4 other companies and Same Day came in within our budget. The installation team of Shelby Bruce and Roberto did a great job with a challenging situation...in some places our crawl space was only 10 inches high. They also had to cut two new returns and ductwork to the upstairs and cut new registers in the ceiling. All of this was done neatly and efficiently. Both were pleasant and polite, and heeded Covid mandates for masking, which we very much appreciated. Highly recommend!

I hired Same Day thru Home Depot to replace/supplement inadequate heating and air conditioning duct work. Basically they came in and fixed another company's shoddy work that I had paid for several years ago. What a difference! These guys were amazing. From the estimator Jeff C. to the installers, everything was first class and professional. Jeff Freedman and Jamie were the technicians and kept me informed of every step. It was a 3-Day job during our latest heat wave. They would telephone when they were on their way, showed up masked, and vacuumed before they left. Aside from the consideration and professionalism they showed, they clearly knew what they were doing. I now have an efficient, quiet, and comfortable working system. Same Day orchestrated a permit with the county as well as a HERS test. They made it easy for me. I was absolutely impressed at the work ethic of this team, especially Jeff Freedman. I was following up on the Yelp Projects that was sent to me when I was searching for a good plumbing company to hire on the installation of the New Kitchen Faucet Replacement Service at my mom's home. I received a text message from Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning Company last week and I wanted to talk to someone who works for this plumbing service.

This is my (5 Stars) Rating on just the customer service that I have received from Monica who answered my cell phone call. I did not get any services done with this Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning Company because I have already hired another plumbing company previously.

I called on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 2 p.m. and Monica their customer service representative answered my cell phone call after the second ring.
I told Monica that I received a text message from their plumbing manager that was regarding my inquiry in hiring a plumbing company for an issue I with my Kitchen Faucet has water leaking out from this connection and the water has dripped down to outside the pipe and onto the floor underneath the sink and onto the floor tile. This water leakage has caused a puddle of standing water for the past 3 days.

I told Monica even though I have hired another plumbing company to replace this older Kitchen Pull-Down Faucet with a New Kitchen Faucet, I would like to know some more details about Same Day Heating & Air Condtioning Company. Monica has a very upbeat attitude, and she was very personable to me during our conversation on Thursday, August 24, 2023. Monica told me that she just got hired and has been working for their company for 4 months now as a customer service representative.
Monica told me sure she will give me the information that I asked for.

Monica said that Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning Company has been in the plumbing business for 30 years. The areas they service is the San Diego County Region and the North County Area like Oceanside, CA. Monica also told me that she enjoys working for this plumbing company because their owner really cares about every one of their employees and especially their customers. Troy and Big Adrian were the two installers and technicians that installed my attic fan, replaced my old furnace motor with a new ECN motor and they also placed insulation in my attic as well. Their service and demeanor was second to none. They wore face masks and cleaned up very well after the completion of their work. I find this company to be very responsive, professional, and extremely helpful. We had a brand new AC installed. Installation went well, but after a month, one of the pipes for the ac had leaked. They fixed the pipe right away and had restoration repair the damage that the leak had made. The repair went smoothly. After the inspection from the city, we were told that the fuse needed to be changed so it was up to code. Same day heating and air had that taken care of quick and the inspection was passed. The tech that came out to take care of our fuse, Esteban Reyes, gave us a courtesy phone call to let us know his ETA. He was kind and professional and took care of the job quick. He even noticed that I was struggling to open and close my side gate for him and he was kind enough to fix that for me too. Usually any home repairs would make me stress out, but all my encounters with Same day heating and air has been so stress and hassle free.

We signed up for a tune up for our 20+ year old furnace. The technician Eduardo provided a clear assessment. We could spend $3000 to repair the most necessary components as a bandaid solution to buy us more time or consider replacing it altogether. I appreciated that Eduardo was straightforward and provided the facts to help us make the decision on whether to proceed with a consultation for a new furnace. This consultation was with Tony. Tony was professional and thorough in assessing the vents and size of our home and did not try to oversell us on what we needed. He was responsive with answering our follow up questions. The new furnace was installed by Moises and Willy. They were clean and courteous throughout the disconnect of our old furnace and install of our new furnace. There were a few minor nicks to the drywall (I don't think this can be helped since the furnaces were so large to move through the narrow attic opening). Upon hearing about the nicks, Tony arranged for Hector to patch up the dry wall and he did a great job also. All around very happy with this company! Also I thoroughly enjoyed our new and efficiently functioning furnace while I was sick with the chills last week :)

I was lucky enough to get my AC installed before this predicted heat wave this weekend (4Sept20) and it was a great experience. I received notification that the technicians were headed to the house via text and email. They showed up on time both days and were fully COVID compliant. Adrian and Carlos were my technicians on both days and maintained professionalism throughout the installation. They explained things as they were going through and even asked permission before entering the bedrooms. The actual work was done efficiently and looks great installed. They even deconflicted with some work I had done on the outside of the house. AND they cleaned up after themselves well and without prompting. Great install from the team at Same Day!! I'll report back in six months on the install of the AC and how well it's working. ;). Great job overall!!!!!

Great company! Would definitely recommend if you're looking to install AC in your home, I believe they offer other services but we reached out to them to have AC installed throughout our home. Anthony was our sales person & was very informative about all options we had & what they had to offer. He overall had great customer service & got everything set up for the technicians to come out & install..he made everything hassle free for our family. We had the pleasure of having Adrian & Carlos come out to install the AC unit & they were awesome! We have a toddler who is used to having free range in the house, that being said we had to block a lot of areas off so she wouldn't be in the way but it created an obstacle course for them & they were very patient & sweet to not even seem bothered by it. Another thing is we have a pretty protective yard dog & we had to be moving them around depending where they needed access too so that they wouldn't be in the way as well & they communicated very well with us & were very patient with the dogs as well when it came to having to give us time to get them out of a specific area so they could continue to work. Overall, they were awesome! Lastly, our thermostat wasn't the easiest to setup once all set & done...Carlos made sure EVERYTHING was working appropriately & as frustrating as the thermostat was he did not give up until it was 100% working all together perfectly. We are very satisfied & happy with our new system!! Thank you

Same Day Heating and Air came out to diagnose our 3 year old air conditioning system. Their service technician provided excellent service. He arrived on time. They send an email with a photo of the technician so you are 100% sure he is a company employee which is a pretty neat service considering there are fake technician that can come into your home these days. He was respectful. He explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He waited patiently while I had to take other phone calls and juggle kids. He offered me several plans and allowed me time to verify with my husband before making a decision. I am both a talker AND I am interested in the HVAC field so I probably asked him a lot more questions than your typical client. He was kind, patient and went out of his way to answer all of my questions. I felt confident in our decision when he left and the air conditioning system has never been so efficient.

I do not write many reviews but felt this was worthy of the time to commend the company's professional demeanor.

As a woman, I am not always comfortable working with contractors. I usually either feel stupid or bullied into getting services I don't need. Luckily for me, my dad taught me how to be self-sufficient and fix things myself. However, recharging my AC system is something out of my abilities/tool collection so there are times when I do need to hire a professional. Their technician exceeded my expectations and I will be specifically requesting him for any future repairs/service. A+++ .for Same Day Heating and Air-San Diego!

Prime Service for installation of an Ecobee Smart Thermostat w/Voice Control.

1) I called and spoke to Sasha who was very kind and provided a competitive quote right away. Other companies wanted to set up a time to come out to look at the heater and then provide a quote after. I didn't want to have to set up several appointments, which would be inconvenient.

2) The meeting was scheduled for 4 pm but Sean C. called about 2:40 pm and said he could come earlier if we were available, which we were.
- Sean showed up shortly after wearing a mask, gloves, and booties, illustrating precautionary measures the company takes due to Covid-19.
- Sean had the thermostat installed within 30 minutes but stayed longer to answer my numerous questions and walk us through the set-up process (he was very patient.)
- Sean also provided us his business card and said we could follow up with him if we had any further questions.

As a new homeowner, navigating the financial trials of purchasing an old house with many required renovations has been stressful to say the least. Not to mention the physical act of moving is stressful enough. Ruben has been helpful since the day we met and gave us an amazing deal on some much needed air conditioning. We spoke and scheduled on a Monday and he brought in his A-Team Chris and Eric on two days later on Wednesday for the installation. These gentlemen are consummate professionals and they made the process of installation quick and painless while I kept unpacking. They even removed and labelled all of my old vents with the proper dimensions so I could go to Home Depot and get new ones of the right size.

There's a reason why they have consecutive 5-stars. My AC unit wasn't working, they came out the next day. It had to be replaced and they scheduled me for the very next day. Rich & Javier were very professional, knowledgeable and prepared with mask and footys.
Afterwards they explained everything they replaced, gave me a 12-year warranty on all they did, plus they knowingly gave me a discount from what I was quoted the previous day.

This is an all around great company!!! Every step of the whole process of getting a new HVAC system installed was smooth and professional. Anthony our lead contact was knowledgeable and responsive. The crew that did the install were fast and super efficient as well as polite and respectful! To top it off, we had a glitch with the system on a Sunday afternoon and Rich came out and quickly identified the problem and had us back up in minutes. Bruce and his gang, Manny and Chapo (el Chapo) were the best. From start to finish, keeping us updated on the progress. We had a great experience with Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning and highly recommend them. Our service Technician Sean Crumpacker was prompt, personable, polite and professional. Our central air conditioning unit had stopped blowing cold air the evening before. It was the original from when the property was built, over 18 years old. We feared the unit would be beyond repair and need replacing. Sean quickly diagnosed the problems, gave tiered recommendations for repaIr and recommended preventative maintenance with clear pricing. There was no pressured upselling. Just facts, prices and left us to decide which options were best for us. Sean took the time to explain the problem, the work he did, even taking time to take and provide photos of the problem areas and the repairs/replacements when done. He then thoroughly tested the system before going over the invoice. Not only was Sean job competent but extremely courteous. I cannot recommend Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning enough. Give them a call, ask for Sean Crumpacker, you wont be disappointed.

I got so lucky finding Same Day Heating and Air. My heater failed right in the middle of my new years eve dinner party. I asked one of my guest to get a repair person out immediately. After 10 minutes of phone calling they couldn't find anybody. My female guest in the house were bundled up with warm clothes. I was frustrated and determined to get my heater repaired. I decided to make one last try myself to find a HVAC repair contractor that could come out immediately. SAME DAY HEATING AND AIR Answered my phone call immediately. They understood the frustration in my voice and they were able to dispatch immediately. I was very happy with their prices and how fast they were able to solve my problem. It had never dawned on me that after being a homeowner for over 15 years in SD, that major appliances and an AC/heating unit should be serviced at least annually.
I put out a search through Yelp and Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning were one of the first people to get back to me. Scheduling was a breeze and the lady who assisted me was extremely nice and personable over the phone. I didn't need any service the same day, but rather to have my AC/heating unit be serviced in our current home of about 6 years.
I scheduled a few weeks ago and had our service today by Esteban. He was punctual, personable (as well) and extremely transparent in the condition of our units. He offered feedback where I learned a thing or two regarding our units.

Billy and Eric came out today. They had great communication leading up to the scheduled appointment, mentioning that they would be a few minutes late. They asked if we wanted them to wear booties inside which I appreciated since we have carpet and a toddler that likes to spend time on the carpet. Same Day delivered! I used this company for an HVAC inspection to compliment a home inspection I had done for a future home purchase. First, they were able to accommodate my schedule and desire to align inspections at the same time as the home inspector. This saved me a lot of time. Second, we were met by Ehly who was punctual, professional, and super friendly. He assessed two full units for a 2-story home. He was quick to inform me throughout the process on things that were good and areas of concerns. Im glad he was meticulous because he identified problems that the home inspector did not report, which included the downstairs system not blowing cool air along with a leak. Third, along with a quick product turnaround, the report was comprehensive and provided a recommendation that was agreed by both buying/selling parties. Excellent service, Big Thank you to Mike who performed our initial tune-up and breaking the bad news that my system was on life support (LOL). Mike explained what was good what was bad and what I could do with NO PRESSURE. Thank you to Anthony who came out and designed a new system to our specs. The GIANT thanks goes to the installation crew, David, Manny, Chapo, and little Adrian, the crew showed up on time, motivated and ready to work. The floors were covered, everyone knew their task and went right to work everyone adhered to the COVID-19 guidelines kept a nice neat work area and left no trace when they were finished. This was a terrible experience, avoid this company.

I have a tiny home (450 square feet), and I'm looking to get a mini split a/c installed. For a house this small on a system like that, you're looking at maybe $1800 typically. Tell me why this guy wanted $9500..???

He told me that there was a warranty, professional service, it's a Mistubishi a/c, etc. I let him know it was outside of my budget, but that my landlord has two other houses he may want to get a/c at. I asked if they offer discounts if youre installing at multiple properties. This tech then begins to berate me asking why I didn't have the decision maker with me and why was I wasting his time.

Sir. First of all, you're wasting MY time trying to charge me $8k more than necessary. Second, I can make decisions for this home, and I have no idea why you'd get mad about someone suggesting a possible referral for another person who needs your service.

I stood firm and let him know that I didn't appreciate the hard sell and he started to gaslight me asking why I have a problem with people asking me questions. He then went on to say that they put their best foot forward with their prices, that I won't get a better rate anywhere else for the same quality, etc.

I was like ok, bet. Send me a quote, and I'll share it with my landlord and see if he agrees. See if he's willing to invest the extra money, since this is his house. I'm not paying more than max $3k for a house that isn't mine.

He says, I've been doing this for 15 years and I know that quotes don't convey all the professionalism I showed today. I said, well you said we wouldn't find a better rate and that it's a good quote, and you're asking for $9.5k. I don't have 9.5k. I have 3-4 but if it is a good quote I need my landlord to chip in the other 5.

He's like just run your credit really quick. You don't even have to pay for the whole first year! ... red flags. Red flags everywhere.

It got to the point where I needed to ask him to leave because he kept pushing and refused to give me the quote. Kept telling me to call my landlord (who I had been texting with), and was mad that I wouldn't because he's at work. Kept talking about how I shouldn't have called if I needed someone else there.... which I DONT except you're asking for thousands more than the standard.

We called SAme Day over a month ago looking for a quote to get A/C installed. Anthony came over, inspected and gave us the most reasonable price we could have imagined. We would have had him install it right then and there but our HOA required approval. So we had to wait a month before doing anything. HOWEVER, Anthony was friendly and super quick. Joseph was fantastic! We got 4 different quotes and went with Same Day because they had good reviews, long term warranty, and also were the cheapest. They installed a slimmer central air model that fits nicely along the side of our house. The competitors didn't have this option which we really needed as we don't have space for the standard bulky unit. The install took a couple days but Joseph and his partner (sorry I forget his name) stayed late in the night to get everything finished. They were also great with our two dogs following them around. Really can't recommend them enough. Their company has followed up since the install with secondary inspection and permits.

Also, they didn't try to upsell us on things we didn't need. Really appreciate that honesty!

We had Same Day come out for a leak that had been bugging us for a while, so we finally decided to do something about it. I remembered that Same Day does plumbing now, so was more then happy to reach out and have them out. A pleasure, start to finish! From calling in and working with the office folks to get someone out, to Robin and Jaylen diagnosing, fixing, and cleaning the issue all in the same day. Of course, during some of the hotest days of the year our AC decided to quit on us. Nobody likes a quitter!! We called Same Day Heating & Air and they were able to get us in the very next day. For those wondering about 'Same Day' and getting us in the next day, we called in the late afternoon so that is not on them. We received an email reminding us of the appointment, received a text the next day and the technician called me to notify me that he was on the way. Our technician was Mike. He was prompt, seemed very knowledgeable, respected Covid-19 safety practices (wore a mask, gloves, booties, etc.) It was an extremely hot day and he worked very fast. He quickly identified the primary issues (within 5 minutes), made recommendations for fixes while also providing alternatives. He also provided ways for us to save by bundling components into premaid kits. Though the problem was at the outside unit, he went into the attic to check coils and duct work. He made further recommendations based on historical issues that he has seen with older systems. Great experience all around. Would highly recommend and would use again. In fact we scheduled a follow on to have him look at our other AC System. Thanks Mike and thank you Same Day Heating and Air!!

These guys did an amazing job! After scheduling just replacement furnaces for our duplex that didn't end up fitting, they were able to upgrade us to mini splits with a heat pump instead for a reasonable price. Bonus A/C!!

They came back the next day and installed 2 for our duplex. Although it did take about 8 hours to install 2 units, it was still fast and efficient work. I am grateful and very satisfied with the service. They are all very kind and personable. The best part is that they cleaned up afterwards and showed me how to use the new units.

Great service from this company! Thomas came and repaired my air conditioning that was not working. He was very polite and efficient. He took pictures of everything and showed me and explained what was going on. I can tell you this company is great because I hired another company a month ago to do maintenance on the AC before the heat got here and they did not do their job. Looking to install an A/C unit and replace the old furnace in my house, I received three quotes from three different vendors. Justin from Same Day came out and gave me a quote right away after going through the property and talking to us. Even though his quote was higher than the others, I decided to go with Justin because his company seemed most reliable. I'm glad I made the choice. The installation crew of four technicians came out and diligently completed the work to my satisfaction within one day. They even moved the A/C unit to another location along the wall after the installation which required them to come back out on another day and re-do the wiring and the ducting. I spoke to a representative from Same Day at Home Depot. This was the smartest thing I ever did. Tony Eddington came to my home. We look at what was available and my options. We came to an agreement and 3 days later my air conditioner was installed. Great customer service, very knowledgeable people and Tony is an amazing person. I am really happy with the service and the unit. I had another company come and gave me an estimate and it was $14,000.00 over what I paid for my system. We had three different companies come out to look at adding AC to our 1970's generation house. One told us they couldn't do it. Brand WC said they couldn't do it as it would be too difficult. Famous brand M said they could do it, but it would be well over $20k. Same day came in around $13k for the same job. They communicated well, showed up on-time, and did the job in exactly the amount of time they said. They had several options for AC units including name-brand units, and for comparison, they quoted them to me. However, their OEM Carrier unit was well priced and has been terrific. Much quieter than the old single stage unit we had at our old property. No hidden fees either, we paid what we were quoted and the job was professional.

About 2 months or less ago, we reached out to 'Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning' to install a heating and air system after finding out the price to fix our current one was almost the same as a completely new installation. My Husband shared we received a great quote... I trust him on that!

The team consisted of Jeff, Chapo, Jamie and Hector. Within two visits (2 days) we had our new Nest heating and air system. They men were professional, and worked quick in my opinion. A few days later we did have an issue with the Nest not shutting off. In less than 24 hours a team member was here and installed a new one in less than a hour .

I had already left a 5 star review due to a great experience with Esteban Reyes, but I just had to update it after my experience today.

Today, Donald McCuddy came by to give me an estimate on a system replacement. Donald was AMAZING! Absolutely excellent communicator, and extremely patient and answered all of my questions and gave me additional information. I felt very educated and informed after our conversation.

There was no upselling, pressure tactics, or anything.

Honestly, I wish these guys did more services so I could hire them more often.

Our house is livable again in this heat thanks to them! We got centralized AC Installed. They came out soon after getting a quote and did a great job! Anthony did not try and nickel and dime us with the quote, was very straight forward about what he suggested and what would be the best option for us. I had other companies come out and give quotes saying they needed to replace everything from the furnace (which is brand new) to the reinstall different vents around the house due to their current placement on my walls and try to charge extra for minor things! So glad we chose this company. The technicians were professional and friendly and cleaned up after themselves. I'd also like to mention that there was an incident where one of the technicians accidentally stepped through the ceiling in my room (it was an accident & he was very apologetic), and the company made sure that someone came out right away and repaired my ceiling. Accidents happen, I was VERY grateful they took care of it so quickly. THANK YOU for the amazing work!

Just got a new heat pump (ac/heat), all new duct work, and insulation. Start to finish great experience from Steven (who designed/quoted) and team.

The guys who showed up to do the work were timely, professional and all around nice dudes. My bulldog (who's a maniac) needs a bit of attention and having people in the house was quite stressful. Tony, Bryant, and Chris all made sure to give him a little pat'n'scratch each time they walked past him which made the whole thing much less traumatizing for him and helped put him at ease with all the commotion going on.

They did great work, cleaned up and complete a huge job in 2.5 days. As long as this unit does well, I give my experience 5 stars! Great work guys!

After the last brutal heatwave, we decided to get some bids on installing a heat pump with heads (no ducting in our home). I had good recommendations for Same Day from locals, and they were able to come to our rather remote home in Jamul.
Tony Eddington appeared as promised, and was one of those representatives that you enjoy doing business with. He was courteous and professional, and I felt no high-pressure push--something that will sour me on any deal immediately. He took his time to educate both of us about heat pumps and other options for AC. We took several days to think everything through, realizing we really did not need a heatpump system for our two small bedroom just a couple of months a year.
I am so thankful for dealing with Tony-- he knew his products and their pluses and minuses. He spent the time to understand how our home and electrical were set up (its not anything like a tract home!) I will definitely be making referrals to neighbors who're looking at installing HVAC system.

Needed to replace an entire A/C unit. Steven, the design technician, gave us the full rundown on what was needed. He assured us on what to expect and was very thorough. He was also able to give us an appointment the following week.

Samson and JP (apologies if I spelled their names wrong) came to set up an entirely new A/C unit for my house. They were very efficient and respectful. Once the unit was installed, they cleaned up their work space and gave us further instructions on what to do following the A/C installation.

I would recommend Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning to anyone that needs reliable and quick service.

I'm writing this on behalf of my parents who had full heating and air conditioning installed in their home in January 2021. Pancho, Bruce & Choppo were the crew that installed everything. They gave me a 2 hour window, between 11-1pm and Donald showed up promptly at 11am. Great service and highly knowledgeable. Quickly found the problem a previous AC company could not and charged me a fair price. This was my first time using them and have just made them my go to for any future needs. Donald was a great representation of the company and the company itself was professional thru out. I just scheduled a maintenance cleaning, as well, so, to help with any future problems. My experience with Same Day was outstanding. We had the unfortunate situation where lost our AC in the midst of one of San Diego's hottest weeks.

Same Day got out and gave us a quote that was very competitive with the other quotes we had received for a comparable system.

When I asked for a scheduled date of install, they were able to do the job the next day. OUTSTANDING !!!

My install was schedule to begin between 8 - 9am the next day. I got a 30 minute notification of arrival and they team was very punctual. They arrived at 8:30. Close enough for me.

The guys were very friendly and respectful of our property. The work diligently all day installing our new system and cleaned up well when completed.

After the first day, everything was working as it should.

If had to do this again or have a friend or family member need a HVAC system, I would refer them to Same Day.

I owned a 5 homes, and have hired countless repairmen. My thermostat blew out and needed someone to come out quickly just in case the San Diego heatwave resurfaced. I made an appointment and they were out the next day. Sean Crumpacker was their technician came out right on time and diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate in a most professional and personable manner. What a great guy. I'm not related to Sean, nor owe him money, but Same Day Heating is a better five-star company for having such a terrific and honest gentleman representing them.

I don't usually believe the hype when a place has only exceptional reviews. Well, believe it about Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning.

The only downside is I couldn't get someone to come by the same day, ironically. Literally everything else about the experience went way above my expectations.

The company has great communication, will text you reminders of scheduled appointments, and gives a call when the technician is on their way.

We had Sean service our furnace that had stopped blowing warm air. He made a super quick diagnostic, found a very cheap fix with a part that has a lifetime warranty, and made the repair immediately. More than that he did some heavy cleaning of the entire unit and surrounding area. I saw him spraying cleaner on the vent, just to make things a bit nicer! Further, he inspected everything thoroughly, gave us a warning about potential issues in the future, and didn't try to push additional work. Guy even checked to see if the vacuum would scare our cat.

I never thought I'd be this happy about a furnace repair but here we are. I definitely recommend Sam Day Heating & Air Conditioning and Sean's work. In the unfortunate case you need their services don't hesitate.

Same Day was terrific and honest. There were unexpected problems during the install, but they found solutions that were actually cheaper than the original project.

The install team (Jeff, JP, and Jamie), we're quick, quiet, and courteous. My husband works from home, and they avoiding working near his office and creating disruptions during his meetings. The install was finished on time, and looks and works great.

We had priced five companies, and Same Day had the best price for what we were purchasing. They were also the only company to find solutions that stayed within code, and identified electrical considerations the other companies missed. In part this was because our quote was made by a an actual HVAC specialist (Jeff) rather than a sales person.

Great experience all around. We'd purchase from them again, and will keep them as our HVAC maintenance provider

If you have noticed my Yelp account, I rarely leave any reviews. However, being the prime time of summer with the heat wave on full blast, I felt it necessary to share my experience with Same Day Heating & A/C.

My initial inquiry was met with an almost instant reply from Larisa, requiring additional information as well as an anticipated time frame that would cater to my time schedule. It was as if the powers above aligned the stars in order to facilitate the next day A/C total replacement despite (1) COVID-10 (2) Short notice (3) Excessive heat waves and flex alerts.

The following day I initially had my consult with Ehly, who was a wealth of information. He broke it down in layman's terms for those of us who know nothing about air conditioning. He even offered alternative methods to facilitate financing in order to move forward with ensuring I was taken care of. He left knowing that I had all the information I needed to be reassured with my choice.

The following day, I kid you not, the two individuals (Carlos and Adrian) arrived 2 minutes prior to 8 a.m. My wife and I were creeping back into the drive way from our morning walk as they pulled up to our residence. KUDOS for early arrival! After that, Carlos informed me of all items to be taken care of during their time there. From initial set up/removal/installation/clean up it all went smoothly.

I am extremely impressed with their business ethics and overall experience I had with them. Although it may be cliche, if I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would!

Robin and his assistant Jalen came to do a yearly checkup. They checked my plumbing which was fine but my hot water heater was not. There were toxic levels of carbon monoxide in my basement and I had no idea. Every time the hot water heater kicked on this gas was being emitted. My son plays in that area and had they not come I wouldn't have never known that he was playing in a very dangerous area of our home.

Robin and his assistant were on time, extremely professional and very kind. They came quickly to fix the issue and did a great job! If I could give this company more than 5 stars I would!

I had mini split ductless AC installed through Home Depot which uses Same Day Heating and AC for all their AC jobs. Samson and Billy were great. Professional, knowledgeable, experienced. Arrived within the time frame predicted, great at communicating, respectful of my home, cleaned up after job was done. I'm pleased with the installation. Interior unit looks good and electrical wiring was well placed within attic. They installed two units in two days.

They were perfectly nice and friendly, and came to give a quote. However, their quotes ended up coming out to $6000-8000 more for to replace my AC than the other companies we got quotes from, and for Carrier's lower-end sibling (Night and Day) instead of Carrier. Sure, they have a warranty that's two years longer, they also order a 2 year no-questions-asked refund policy. So you can keep that in mind if that is very important to you. But it didn't seem wise to spend an extra $8000 for a 12 year warranty instead of a 10 year one on a better system.

Also, the salespeople tried to convince us that we *had* to replace our whole airduct system, or we wouldn't pass inspection. The other two companies told us that was silly.... And sure enough the inspectors came today, they had no problem with our duct system. Airflow is just fine just swapping out the A/C system. Glad I got 3 quotes!

Unquestionably the best HVAC company in the San Diego area. I am a returning customer and I am quite certain that my future HVAC needs will have me coming back. They are not only far more responsive than any other company, but their employees are both knowledgeable and supremely competent! They arrive on-time, treat your home with the respect that you expect, and clean-up when they're done. While some companies will try to gouge you on price 'Same Day' will go out of their way to make the service affordable. I have used them twice and have future plans to call back for pending work. LOOK NO FURTHER! I want to give a special shout out to Pancho - he participated in both installations and integrated a personal sense of pride and professionalism in the work performed. He worked on the task as if he were installing the unit in his own home!

I had a wonderful experience. I contacted Same Day to ask about getting AC installed. They were able to come out and give me a free estimate really quickly. Paul did a great job breaking everything down. They had availability within a week and the installers showed up right on time. The installers Tony and Jonny were great, very professional, easy to communicate with and friendly. The whole job was completed on schedule and I'm now enjoying my glorious AC system.

I really feel like I got an incredible value with the warranty and satisfaction guarantee included, so long as I'm able to get them out here I know I'm not going to need to fix or replace anything for a long time.

I reached out to them after my furnace stopped working and they came the next day. They were professional and genuine while evaluating my system and gave me a full analysis on what was wrong with my furnace and ducting. As I was planning to get AC in the future, they gave me a few estimates depending on my choices and feature as well as the multiple discounts and credits I was applicable to (military discount!). I ended up getting an energy efficient furnace and AC with new ducting to support AC and moving/adding vents. During the installation, they were courteous and mindful of us and our home and were adaptive when I had things to do. I haven't gotten the chance to fully take advantage of AC yet as it is not summer, but my home feels more comfortable now than it has been in the past and I feel confident that my HVAC system will last a long time.

I would recommend Same Day AC & Heat to anyone that requires this type of service. Jeff and Chapo were awesome and extremely professional. I just bought this home a month ago and I've never had AC. I thought the system was good but Billy and Alexander pointed out some possible issues that I may have in the future. The previous owner didn't take care of what they had. I guess they figured it would maintenance itself. The system that Jeff and Chapo installed was extremely difficult but they didn't cut any corners. They treated my house like it was their own. I had Sean come out here to diagnose our AC. The service was fantastic! Their window to come by was 2-4pm and he showed up at around 2, he diagnosed the problem within the hour and detected a small leak, recharged the refrigerant and so far it works like new. We really appreciated Same Day's workmanship, flexibility, and efficiency in replacing our HVAC unit. Since we were trying to coordinate replacing our roof at the same time, I know we made their job much harder, but the Same Day team was very patient and accommodating throughout the process. They were able to get the entire project done in just a few hours, which included having a crane place the unit on the roof and having to fix something the roofers had prepared incorrectly. They also honored the original bid and did not charge extra for the added time/difficulty. Our project coordinator, Ryan, was extremely helpful from the moment he looked around and gave us our bid all the way through setting up payments after the work was done. Our house has never been cooler, and we're grateful to Same Day for the quality work and all their time and flexibility!

We were approached at Home Depot by a representative for Same Day Heating and Air Conditioning for a free inspection on our systems. What a eye opener that was. We found out that the previous person that ran diagnostics and tuned our furnace didn't really do a good job. When Same Day came in there was soooo much on its way out. Our heating and air units came with the house and were about 17 years old so it was time to upgrade. We were presented with several options- whether to just put a band aid on the issues or replace them. We opted for replacing and don't regret it. We had a few mixups and miscommunications but they made it right right away. There were a lot of people in and out of our house for a solid few weeks but they were really good about letting us get our dogs (our biggest worry) in and out of the house. They cleaned up any little mess and really put everything into the project. At the end of the project, we found out that we had an actual blockage that wouldn't have been found if Billy Pruitt hadn't unwrapped a damper that shouldn't have been there. This was our biggest reason we got this project done. We couldn't figure out why the air wasn't going into every room. Billy saved us a boatload of more money and went the extra mile to find out the issue. He was even going to do extra work to fix the problem a different way. We were so glad that it was not as bad or hard as we thought. I bet Billy was too lol. So in total we got our furnace replaced with a heat pump and an emergency backup. We also got a new air conditioning unit, a house air purifier, patchwork in the attic where our humidifier fell off and left a gaping hole for air to escape. They put an attic fan in and added a larger return. They re-insulated and even put extra insulation. I don't remember everyone's name but for sure Billy and Esteban Reyes stick out. There was another guy that I didn't get his name. They come out in pairs usually so the main tech-I think- their name and photo show up in the confirmation text but not who comes with which is a bummer because I would love to give kudos to them personally. But really they were soooooo personable and nice. I believe customer service is everything and from scheduling appointments to the technicians, they really came through. We are so grateful and recommend them 100%. I will try to update with pictures.

I had a great experience with Same Day from start to finish for a Mini Split system, beginning with Alex who came to my home for an estimate and discussion of how the system works. They were able to schedule installation for the following day. The team that came out, Jamie and Lamar quickly figured out the best place for the unit and presented their plan in a clear way, so that at the end of the job it looked exactly how they described it. For a person like myself, who needs and appreciates understanding of technical things, I was happy with the level of communication. They were very considerate in working around my house, another important thing. And at the end, they gave me some review on the operation, care and warranty. I used this company for the first time today. The technician was exactly on-time, pleasant, and very informative.
Our sixteen year old AC unit was not working, and we have been in a record heatwave.
Donald did a great job to get us up and running again...cooling us right off...in less than an hours time.
The repairs were a bit costly, (but what isn't these days?!) but he was able to repair and restore the unit without having to replace it. I would recommend this company.

I just had Same Day Heating and Air come to install a new air conditioning slim unit and replace our furnace and ducting. We called to get an estimate on Thursday. Tony Eddington came out, gathered his necessary information, and let us know that the team will come out the following week on Wednesday and Thursday to begin the install. They called before they arrived in the morning, showed up on time, set up their instruments, and began to work. They came in, set up a tarp to not damage the floors, used boot covers when walking/working inside, and cleaned up after themselves. Work was completed by Jeff, Jamie, Jose, and Turbo. They were all very knowledgeable, professional, and the installation was quick and flawless. Highly recommend!

Called them out to look at my AC compressor that was struggling. The tech they sent was awesome, very knowledgeable and capable. We discussed options for repair, and unfortunately there weren't a lot of options for repair that stood up to the cost/benefit ratio. So we committed to replace the ENTIRE A/C, compressor and heater AND add a whole house fan that I was REALLY excited to have(18+k!). I was amazed at their immediate availability (now looks suspicious) of the next day to start... that's when everything went south. The install was problematic from day one, the tech they sent to install was grossly under-trained and didn't have any support from his office or team to speak of. He struggled for 4 day to get everything installed, and STILL we didn't have a functional whole house fan. (same day heating and air????) Their tech, fried the controller that came with the fan due to improper install, luckily it didn't burn my house down! The manager didn't seem too responsive to resolve my problem, and stated that due to supply constraints, this might take a while to get. You would think that as this is their primary function and probably install a lot of whole house fans, it would be a good idea to carry spares on hand for just such an occurrence, right? NOPE! At this point I ordered my own controller, (that was amazon prime!) and received it 2 days later. Another entire week passed before I had to reach out to them to ask if my part had come in to repair their initial screw up. Amazingly... it had JUST arrived and they then asked me if I'd like to schedule the repair... AFTER I called THEM! THEN... I ask them to install the additional controller, figured that maybe they could throw this in in exchange for the delayed install and the poor customer service and completely missed deadlines... NOPE! They actually want MORE money! $225 to land two wires. That's a hard pass.

I should mention that the manager, Dan, did offer to make things right even if that meant coming off some of the cost. That sounded great and a valiant effort! AND I believed him... all the way up until i got the first payment demand from the financing company... BEFORE I even had a functional unit!!

Grossly disappointed with the company as a whole, they talk a big game and make all the right promises, but utterly fail in execution and customer service. Take your money, patience and worth elsewhere.

Update #1. Owner of the company saw this review and got involved. He called me to get the details of what had been going on and was determined to make things right. He immediately cut me a check for $500 as a show of good faith. He then assured me that he would put his best people on the job to get us complete and happy. Long story short, the whole house fan was bad from the start. It had caused all the issues up to this point. Still rather disappointed that it took as long as it did to figure that out... Regardless, they stepped in and made things right and for that I have updated this review. I can appreciate snafus happening in the maintenance realm, stuff happens and timetables get missed. It's how the company reacts to these stumbling blocks that changes whether I will do business with them again or not.

My experience with Same Day H & AC was great. The salesman Tony Eddington was friendly and low pressure. The installer David did an excellent job. I got a quote on Tuesday and the new furnace was installed on Thursday in half a day. The old furnace was 45 years old and it's time was up. The new Day/Night furnace (Model N80ESL) has much better air flow and the house heats up in just a few minutes. 3000 sq. ft. There was some custom metal work involved and David did a great job. Replacing the filter is so much easier with the new design. I also recently got a new electric dryer and they were kind enough to take away the old gas dryer for free.

Today we had an appointment with Same Day/Esteban Reyes. We were updated every step of the way. Our appointment was 8-10am. Received a call at 8am that he would be here at 8:30am. I had an issue with my AC unit not blowing out cool air. I decided to give Same Day Heating & Air a call on my google searched. Made an appointment, Andrew the technician came to diagnosis my system and found out that all the pressure and levels are good there was no leaks. Checked out the furnace as a result it was due to a dirty filter. I bought a new filter replaced it and the AC is working great again! I am extremely happy with the service and the tech was not pushy trying to sell me a new unit. He recommended things and left it up to me to make the decision to proceed. It was my first time using these guys but now will be my go-to guys for my heating and air services.

Our air conditioning went on the fritz and starting looking on line for help to buy new system. We did go with Lowes first, but then also called Home Depo near our home in Scripps Ranch and Jeffrey from Same Day Air came out and talked and walked us thru everything they had to offer in equipment, labor, 12 year warranty and talked to us without pressure. Due to medical reasons, we have to have air even in the cold months. Same Day Heating & Air is Home Depo's contact and Willy, Martin, Chris & Poncho came to our rescue. Due to some issues, our day to install was not delayed, but actually bumped up a day, luckily. I have see contractors work in every field of plumbing, carpetry, cabinets, carpet, painters in several homes throughout my years, but I'm telling you straight up all of these gentlemen, truly cared and worked so damn hard up and down 18 stairs, and gave us updates throughout our project and are so happy Jeffrey was so kind and knowledgable he gave us the perfect bid with many hurdles to conquer because of our specific needs and timeframe, due to our situation. I want to thank Betsy for her hours of dedication, time and love beyond normal work hours to cook and prepare each day for the workers and staff a meal or snack to get their work day started. My thermostat broke in the middle of the night and I had no heat. I rushed out the next day to buy a new one and needed someone to install it. They were able to send someone out in just a few hours. I received a text message and email confirmation with the name and photo of the technician. The technician, Billy, was polite and friendly. He wore a mask and asked me if I wanted him to wear booties over his boots. He explained what he was doing, and was still very quick. I cant get over the irony of their business name as I'm on day 3 of a broken AC (in less than a month) and they cancelled the appointment to come fix it today because the part wasn't in stock ... AFTER the manager told us it was. As I stated in my first review they were so great when we agreed to pay them 12K for a new AC but now it's like pulling teeth to get anything fixed or any direct answers. Yes no one is perfect as the manager stated to us...but this many errors is either intentional or they really have no idea how to run a business.

I set up a same day diagnostic which was awesome because we were going through a warm spell. My technician Rich gave me a heads up call to let me know he was on his way and showed up right on time. Did an inspection via the Home Depot service desk. Sean did an awesome job. Very prompt and very thorough. Frankly, he did the best thing someone could do in that role: a straight shooter, explained the details, gave options about what could be done for preventative maintenance, and no pressure to buy now! A few days after the A/C installation, I noticed my lawn turning yellow. I called the office asking if they could come check on it since the sprinklers were broken and water was pooling up in the area they were working. Same day did a great job installing our AC unit. From start to finish they communicated well, did what they said they would do, cleaned up after and worked super hard. The day they installed was very hot and the attic was even hotter - no complaints by the team - they pressed on and got it done.

We received multiple quotes from other well known providers and Same Day came out ahead in terms of service and price. The inspector just left and it seems they delivered on quality as well.

I discovered a minor warranty issue with the system Same Day had installed a couple of years ago, and getting the problem addressed could not have been easier. First, the receptionist on the phone was polite, friendly, and efficient. Even though this is, I presume, a crunch time of year, two techs, Brandon and his assistant, showed up at my place the next morning.
Same Day kept me informed about the appointment and Brandon's expected arrival time. When they arrived, it took them only a short period to time to locate the issue and correct it. During that process, they were professional, friendly, and (again) efficient. It tells me that the culture at Same Day is one that fosters this kind of approach, which is, of course, great from a customer's point of view.
No charge for the visit, and all is now working fine again. I couldn't have asked for more.

Reuben, Chris, and Eric did a phenomenal job with our AC installation. My husband and I just purchased a home without air conditioning and we were suffering from the summer heat.

I was lucky enough to be at Home Depot when a rep from this company was there offering a $39 A/C maintenance service. My appointment was scheduled for the following day. The technician, Rich, called me 15 minutes before my appointment (as promised) to let me know he was on his way. He also sent a follow-up text with a picture so I would know who to expect (nice touch). Rich could not have been nicer...or more thorough! He wore gloves and booties when he came into my house (to protect my floors). He took pictures of every test he ran, and there were lots of them. He explained the results and his recommendations. There was no hard sell. Shortly thereafter I received an email with all the pictures he took, an invoice with a breakdown of the work that was done, and info about the recommendations he made. I was mis-led by other contractors that a ductless system was right for me, but Anthony gave me the facts and helped me figure out I needed central air with new ducts, and better insulation. One of my two heaters stopped working after i tried to install nest. It got really cold and i was hoping to fix it quick but all places i contacted gave me option at least a week away. Except this company. They understood the situation and arranged their technicians to come the next day (I contacted them at 8pm). The gentlemen who came quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue. Their Yelp response was pretty quick, but I was turned off by the ask for $99 for an estimate. Other HVAC companies (of which there are numerous with 4+ star ratings on Yelp) for the most part do not charge for an estimate.

By paying the $99 (it's refundable if you hire them), you're sorta locked in to using them for your HVAC repair, or else you lose the $99, which kinda sucks.

I do not want to give them a low star review, since they seem to be very courteous and responsive, but this policy in my opinion is losing them business (I.e. I couldn't continue with them because asking for $100 in case their quote was too expensive was just too much of an ask).

I called Same Day over a year ago to do a check-up on my heating A/C unit. Then they added plumbing services so I called to check out several small things that were going wrong. I was so impressed both time with the knowledgeable and considerate technicians that came out. There was no pressure to spend any money with them. Initially Javier came out to give us a free check-up on our furnaces. He was knowledgeable and mannerly. He showed us the build up of dirt and whatever else was in our system. We decided to get two new furnaces, because the cost to clean and repair everything was a lot of money. They were on time, and wore booties on their feet when entering our house. They put down protection on our floor and carpet. They were efficient in installing the furnaces. We are happy with the final results, and they work very well. Jeff was very nice when he came to our house and showed us our options on everything. He was very friendly and mannerly. We were sold. The ONLY thing we were not happy about was; We picked up several small [1 to 3] pieces of shredded and twisted metal shavings and a few screws in our driveway and out front where they were parked. Not a big deal, but someone could have drove over these and possibly got a flat tire, including us. Overall, we are happy with them and would recommend them.

I highly recommend this company. I hired them to do yearly furnace maintenance on my 2 units. Both Sean and Rich were very professional, very conscientious about Covid-19 pandemic, wore a face mask, gloves and kept their distance when communicating. Gave a courtesy call prior to arriving, let me know exactly what all was involved with the Inspection. When he was done, he gave me a recap of what he did and the outcome of the inspection. I also liked how he mentioned several products and recommendations but didn't push for me to buy or use. A lot of service companies will try to push products on you, but he didn't which was really cool. I'd definitely recommend this company for your inspections, especially right now before it starts to get hot!

My life situation has made me move from Boothbay, Maine to San Diego, California. A big change in weather for me!
This heat wave has really knocked me for a loop and my aged body does not respond well to such conditions. We found Same Day Heating and Air Conditioning while remodeling the house we live in. Good timing is all I can say!

We have contacted Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning for AC tune-ups over the past three years. However, due to the extreme heat and power surges we noticed our AC was blowing one of our two fuses. We contacted Jim one of the owners and spoke in detail about what was happening. Jim suggested he send Service Technician Sean Crumpacker. Upon Sean's arrival he was professional, patient and a darn good listener. We can't say enough about his pleasant demeanor. Sean explained the service he believed would solve the problem and after thirty minutes or less installing the part he suggested we turn our unit on. Immediately we felt the cool air coming up through our floor vents of our manufactured home, we were in heaven. Sean then removed all wrapping and recovered our piping nice and neat. I was blown away and so was my family member visiting from out of town. Please excuse me for not mentioning the added parts our AC required, I can't remember the name. All I will say is it worked! Sean thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and last I want to thank Jim for having a great team player who takes pride in representing Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning.

Wow! We have a new furnace and AC and are very happy. Hector, Tom and Greg did a great install - competent, conscientious, courteous. We were happy to have them in our home and are very pleased with the end product. Our thermostat was broken and we decided to replace it with the Google nest learning thermostat. There was an amazing promo at home depot where if you bought a google nest thermostat, you could get installation PLUS a 10-point check for your heating/cooling system for only $99. They were suppose to call within 24-48 hours after purchase, and I decided to just call them directly after I didn't hear from them the next day. They were easy to book and they came the next day. Andrew was our technician and he was awesome! On time, friendly, super knowledgeable and helpful with some great tips! Really happy with our new thermostat installation (no way we could've done it ourselves with the wiring they were doing) and really pleased with the options that Andrew left us to consider in the future! Having a properly functioning heater this coming winter was a must for our family. We did our due diligence and shopped around to try and get the best deal we could that provided quality service along with a quality product. We received several estimates from different companies to install and replace our outdated heater/furnace. We were not sold on any company until we met with Tony (E). from Same Day Heating and Air Conditioning. We met with Tony and with his infectious smile and kind conversation, he sold us to choose Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning. Tony's extraordinary ability to analyze our heating needs and our budget constraints allowed us to select Same Day Heating and Air Conditioning for our home.
Once we decided to select Same Day Heating, Tony introduced us to his Manager Mr. Dan who right away scheduled our heater/furnace installation. Our central AC was freezing up so we Called Same Day Heating & they were able to schedule an appointment within a few days even though we're in the middle of a stay at home order. They were super helpful during the call & gave email reminders & called before they stopped by. Our Technician Sean was great!!! We got a couple of quotes for an entirely new A/C system and ducts. They provided excellent quality services and equipment for a fair price. My central stopped working on a Friday evening. I found these folks through Yelp and called early Saturday morning. They were there by 3:00pm. Sean was really friendly and helpful. He figured out that a drain tube had collapsed and the pump had burnt itself out. He called another tech (also named Sean) who came 20 minutes later with a replacement pump and installed it.

Since first reaching out thorough Yelp, Larisa had great customer service skills. When I asked for an appointment, she responded within 10 minutes answering in an efficient, friendly manner.

Then Jeffrey Carlon came to our home for a service call because our A.C. was not working. He arrived on time. He used a mask and gloves. Jeff was also professional and friendly at the same time. He got our air working!!

We ended up upgrading everything because both our A.C. and furnace were using too much energy and would break down soon. Our system was more than 40 years old!

We set up dates and times for other service technicians to replace and install everything from the A.C. unit, furnace, air ducts, and grills! As I said, the whole system needed upgrading! Jeff and Jamie arrived on time, again using masks and gloves.

Both were, once again, friendly and professional. They did an amazing job! We are extremely satisfied with their service and our purchase.

I worked with Bianca (no longer working here) and she was simply amazing. They made me a competitive offer and their perks are quite nice.

I was not quite sold and I was about to take another offer and Bianca basically was able to pull off an upset. She's pretty much the reason I chose this company and I'm glad I made that choice. That and their perks are quite convincing.

The past 2 days I've had Poncho, Adrian, Adrian and JP at my house pretty much installing a brand new AC set up. A new condenser unit outside, a furnace in my attic and a new wall unit thermostat. They where very professional with social distancing and mask wearing. They explained everything they where doing. My 30 year old AC died last Saturday and Same Day was the fastest to get someone out to assess the issue. Adrian was here on Monday and did a detailed diagnostic, even checked my ducts in the attic (which no prior AC tech had ever done before) before giving me a full assessment of where things stood. Not good news, but as I expected and he was so professional and had all the stats and comparisons, with photos so there was no doubt in my mind my AC was toast! Tony was here shortly thereafter to explain the process to replace it with all the pricing details and we scheduled work to begin first thing Thursday morning. As I write this review today, Friday, July 21, 2023, my new AC has me happy and comfy! The demo and installation crew was Willy and Moises and I can't say enough great things about these two young men. They were friendly, courteous, polite, professional, and so careful to leave everything even nicer than they found it. I enjoyed them both and they went above and beyond to make sure Ms. Brenda was taken care of. :-) I appreciated their hard work under very hot and uncomfortable circumstances and hope that they are recognized for their efforts because they were consistently fantastic to work with and made the last two days so much more enjoyable than I imagined they would be. This con man salesman must've knocked another vent loose as he said before he wouldn't work on the ductwork because as he previously said the vermin would get it. We had a complete replacement of our duct work. I called on a Friday afternoon to request an appointment for someone to come out and check what was wrong with my AC and Sasha booked an appointment for me that coming Monday morning. This passed Monday I had Mike come to my home and he did full inspection to see what was wrong with my AC. He took tons of pictures to show me since the ductwork is in the attic and the unit is on the roof. He was patient, informative and super helpful. He gave me a quote on the spot. I told him I would make a decision end of business day since I had another company come to my house within the hour to give me their professional opinion. It's good to have multiple quotes and professional opinions. During the time that the other company was inspecting my house, I texted Mike questions and he responded immediately. When the other company left, I decided to go with Same Day Heating and Air! They were able to start the job the next day, wow! The next day at 8am, technicians Troy and Adrian came to my house and completed the job by 4pm. Troy and Adrian were both professional and knowledgeable and they did an awesome job from start to finish. I highly recommend asking for these three guys, Mike, Troy and Adrian. I'm just waiting for their office to get back to me with the permits now and I will do a follow up review on that.

It's been a few years and since we had a tune-up on our heating and air system so we definitely needed to get it done. The booking staff at Same Day were quick, attentive, and scheduled us right away. We received a text the day before reminding us about the appointment. I also received a text the morning of the appointment that the tech was on the way and it gave me his name. I have two toddlers so the heads up was so helpful! When the tech arrived he explained the process, was in a clean professional uniform, and wore boot covers and face mask. He was great dodging all of the toys and did a great job ensuring our system was safe and running properly. We were very impressed overall with Sam Day's performance from start to finish!

For the last 9 years since I had my A/C installed (by a different company), I have been living with the fact that I had little to no airflow upstairs. Daniel and Andre came to do a tune-up on my system, and they were able to diagnose my issue, which was that there was one 8-inch duct that fed my entire upstairs, among other things. Samson and JP came to do the duct work, insulate my attic, and add a hard-start kit to my unit and discovered (once cutting through the drywall) that the issue was even worse than we had thought. There was a 6-inch duct feeding the 8-inch duct for my entire upstairs, which was only connected with tape. It became a much larger hassle for them than they originally anticipated, but they were friendly, communicative, and determined to solve the issue despite the hiccups. By the end of the day, my A/C was blowing plenty of air to my upstairs bedrooms and running as it should.

Every person who has shown up here from Same Day has been friendly, attentive, and thorough. They all seem to genuinely care about their customers and take pride in their work. They go above and beyond to make sure that happens, even vacuuming up debris from the carpet when they were done. I have never had anyone do that before. Thank you for all the care and for giving me the gift of comfort this summer in my previously sweltering upstairs rooms!

Same Day Heating & Air should be called same hour heating and air. I was prepping my house for sale and needed to replace my ac unit as a contingency. While speaking to Same Day Heating & Air's dispatch there was a tech nearby and was able to stop by on his way home within hours. I had Ryan come out on the 13 th to give me the first of what was to be a total of 4 estimates to replace an aged system. ( furnace and air ) From the moment he arrived I had a very comfortable feeling. He was straight forward and honest and had a lot of knowledge. ( Both my daughters have had air and furnace work on their homes in the last 12 months so i had an awareness of cost based on their experiences ) And the warranty is the best in the industry. These are two of the best techs and work as a team like I've never seen before. Very respectful, treated my home as their own. They were very experienced and new exactly what they were doing. If employees determine the success of a company, this company will be around for a long time. A couple years ago, Javier G. did work out our home and did an outstanding job. We needed some repairs done, and the company sent out Javier again. He called before he arrived, and was so friendly when he got to our home. He remembered previously being here, including some of the specifics of our conversation and our home.

As for the work, they replaced my A/C unit before. My service call now was because the A/C no longer worked. It was still under warranty and they didn't try to find some loophole where the warranty didn't apply. It was all covered. Javier fixed the problem quickly and made sure the unit was working properly before leaving.

This is an honest company that does great work at good prices, and importantly, has excellent people working for them. Considering Javier was still working for them, it tells me they also keep their good employees.

I am so glad I found this company. There are so many to choose from, but you should stop here and give them a call.

I chose Same Day, like I do all major home project companies, through Home Depot because I like having the backing of HD should I need them.

Same Day staff was amazing. Quote was provided for what I needed with no pressure or follow up sales call. Once I decided to get my brand new HVAC system, we booked a date, the guys came out, got it done in one day, and when I needed some follow up service due to my thermostat, they showed up that same day to fix it.

I encountered a total of five tech staff and one off staff, and each person was friendly and professional. Loved my experience and will continue to use them for all my maintenance needs in the future.

It was a high of 96 outside today but, I was able to enjoy a nice cool temp inside my home today thanks to Same Dat Heating & Air :) Anthony came out Wed to put together a plan for resolving the problem(s) I have been experiencing for several years. He provided several options and I chose the plan that made most sense for me long term. The cost was significantly less than other bids I had been provided previously and there was no BS in trying to get me to purchase something I didn't need. The very next morning Jeff and Jamie showed up at the exact time scheduled to begin working on the complete replacement of my HVAC system. After setting up the space to keep my home safe and clean, they worked very hard all day, in not the best of situations (very tight and hot quarters, old wiring, etc.), to get my new system installed and running. The communication/response time with the company was great from my first inquiry onward. I am so relieved to have found Same Day and can relax knowing I have an efficient system keeping my home cool/warm when necessary along with a 12 year warranty! Here's how the visit went. A young guy came with an apprentice and I explained my set up and why I wanted to replace the blower in my furnace. He professionally diagnosed issues with my furnace and one issue that pertained to my AC unit and backed everything up with numbers he was getting from measuring devices he used - that was great, he was thorough. Here's where it went south, I explained that the one issue pertaining to the AC was under warranty and that the company that installed it should be taking care of that, everything else not under warranty is up for grabs. He had a hostile tone and asked, why did you call us then. I wanted to hire this company for the issues that were not under warranty, but I'm not giving my hard earned money to anyone with a poor attitude and bad customer service. I can see if I was a dick, but I explained everything, I could even see if the potential problem in the AC unit was the only work that needed to be done, but there were a lot of issues going on with plenty of work for this company to do. Hire someone with a better attitude Same Day, it will go a long ways.

Update:
The manager called me and was awesome. If I was running a company i would hire this guy as manager. He addressed the issue I had with the tech, great customer service, and handled the situation properly - for that I am bumping up the review. Good job Dan, keep it up, you guys will always have customers with your tactics.

2nd update:
The technician called and messaged me to apologize, but went on to say it was a misunderstanding. There was no misunderstanding, this kid said what he said, how bout owning up to your mistake and taking responsibility for it. Teach your employees better customer service Dan. This won't fly for me, back down to a 1 star review.

He did a great job taking pictures, documenting and explained everything he saw thoroughly. We found this suspicious due to the recent rainy weather and temperature difference from using the heat setting. Erick was able to run a diagnostic on our system and confirm that nothing was wrong. I am always so wary about having any repairs done in my home. Unfortunately, I never listened to my father when he showed me how to do home repairs, and I am always afraid that whoever is here will take advantage of my lack of knowledge.
I don't have to use my furnace often, but this winter, it became necessary. I cranked up the heat and got nothing but cold air. Great.
Same Day had someone out right away to take a look. Very fortunate for me, they sent Andrew Rice to come appraise the situation. I knew he was a good guy the minute we realized we were both Denver Bronco fans!
In all seriousness, Andrew was friendly, patient, and very professional. He was respectful of my home and kept everything neat and clean.
In a very short amount of time, he had the furnace on and warming up my cold home. He took some photos to show me the work he did and why it was necessary. He put it in terms I understood and didn't make me feel stupid for asking.
I don't know if all the Same Day technicians are as good as Andrew, but because of him, I will call Same Day for all my HVAC issues. He represented his company well!

Great initial engagement with Same Day Heating and Air through Home Depot. Super consultant who came out to speak to me first, Anthony Albanese and who helped me look at an other HVAC install they were doing in the local area.

The team who came to do the actual HVAC install were great and did a pretty decent job. They were happy to answer my questions and kept me updated as the work progressed.

Post project cleanup not quite as hoped / desired. Still working through some remaining issues from the project work including remediating attic hatch access work which had to be increased in order to get the old HVAC furnace down and the new furnace up.

We used Same Day for the first time last month and had a great experience from start to finish. Our AC unit was not working right during our recent heatwave. I called and got an appointment right away. Customer service was top notch. We were given a 2 hr window for appt, the automation system gives exact time of arrival and who to expect. Donald was on time, friendly and very knowledgeable. He offered a couple options for our needs without any pressure of an upsell. He was honest and informative. Installation was set up right away with Jaime and Lamar. Both gentlemen were friendly and took their time to explain the install process and walked me though all the finished work. Recently we had an attic inspection and cleanup scheduled. The guy who came out told us we needed our ducts replaced immediately and made it seem like a very dire situation. We decided to give Same Day Heating & Air a call for a second opinion since they had installed our central a/c a year ago, and I'm glad we did. They scheduled an evaluator to come out promptly, and gave us a great price since we'd done business with them before. Their quote came in 4k under the other company's quote!

We signed the contract on Friday and by Monday they were here, and by Tuesday they were all done, as estimated. Our install techs were Samson and JP, and they were awesome and super friendly. They were on time, considerate of cleanup, and did a great job of walking us through the process and answering any questions we had. Samson even gave us a heads up on what to expect as far as feeling a difference in air flow due to the changes in the ducts and vent sizing, and you could tell he really enjoys and geeks out over what he does! They made our duct system more efficient and changed where some of the vents come out, so we no longer will have to worry about hot/cold air blowing too directly at our baby's crib. We'll be reaching out to them for all our HVAC needs :)

My AC unit was up for routine maintenance and I decided to reach out for service. My request was made through the Home Depot website. Within minutes of submitting my request for service I received a call from Same Day Heating and AC. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Service technician Rick called me 30 minutes prior to arriving at my home. Upon arrival, Rick was courteous and ready to get to work. Rick was thorough during his inspection of our AC unit and furnace. He showed me and explained all of the parts involved in the unit and also provided me with diagnostic numbers that AC units require in order to function properly. He made his recommendation for the replacement of two parts and did not pressure me into making such decision right there and then. I decided to approve the replacement of the parts. Rick completed his service visit within 90 minutes of arrival. Rick used shoe covers when entering our home and kept his distance as well.

I would highly recommend this company for any HVAC service and I will call them back in the future.

Had my AC unit installed in new construction home in 2005, and have never had it serviced or tuned up since. So after receiving a mail solicitation for a tuneup special for those who rarely (or never) service their AC units, I felt like they were talking directly to me. Getting a tuneup service appointment scheduled was easy, and they were able to come out very quickly, at my convenience. Service technicians Sean and Anthony were extremely professional and courteous, and got along with my dogs, which was appreciated. They were efficient, and provided useful feedback on the status of my unit, setting my mind at ease. I now know who to call should I ever require HVAC repair. Highly recommend.

This was a nightmare. Our heater was working and needed some improvements so we wanted to get it fixed. A guy came quickly but ended up charging us 100$ to condemn our heater which left us with no heater during the coldest week of San Diego winter. We were not offered any repairs, yet still charged. We were willing to accept whatever risks the heater may or may not provide during operation which our heater had been like this for many months so it was not likely any acute safety issue would arise. He did not provide us a quote for a new heater so we had to find a different more reliable company which all in all this experience left us without heat for almost a week. If he had kindly left our heater on we would have one not frozen and two had more time to research a nice heater replacement. We will not use or recommend this company.

We are very happy with the professional, courteous, well-informed service we got from Same Day. Anthony worked with us to design the perfect system for our older home. We had a forced air heating system that was original to our 1960's house. He helped us figure out the best way to integrate air conditioning, with options to do it as efficiently and economically as possible. His proposal was by far the clearest and most detailed we received from any contractor.

Rich, Big Adrian, and Javier moved our heating and installed our new AC over the course of 3 days. Every day, they left our place tidier than they found it. Fantastic experience. They showed up on time. They were friendly and professional. They also exemplified the name of the company. They replaced my furnace and installed a completely new A/C system in just one day, hauled off all the old equipment and left my house and yard exactly as it was when they arrived. Except for the exceptional A/C unit that is now installed. Once the installation was complete, they stayed to ensure the system was properly configured, charged and balanced. I can't say enough positive words about Jeff, Jamie and Troy.

My AC went out and I called four HVAC repair companies. None of them could service my home until five days out. Then I called Same Day heating and air. They not only came out within six hours of my call, but they gave me a fair price and fixed my AC within an hour. The technician, Thomas Megrditichian was OUTSTANDING. He was honest, personable, and highly professional, and got my AC unit up and running within an hour. I really liked this company's response and customer service. I asked for a quote through yelp to install a new ecobee for my HVAC and they got back to me within minutes with a quote and to book a time for the next day. Sean M. was the technician that came by to install the unit. He was really friendly and professional. and right on time. He noticed that when he was getting ready to install the new unit, the old unit was not wired correctly by the previous HVAC company...ergo why it was not working. It turns out I did not need a new unit after all, so I can return the one I just purchased. After he got it running, he checked everything twice and even recommended a couple of new settings that he thought would save some $$ on the electric bill. He charged me what was on the quote, which was totally fair for all the time he spent. It is rare to find such honesty and genuine concern. These will be my new HVAC guys going forward. Thanks!

Same day heating and air lived up to its name. The whole process from initial visit to install day has been a pleasant experience. I was going to wait to make a decision until i talked to more companies. Yesterday's heat was too much to bear so i finally gave Anthony Albanese a call to move on with the project and today i finally have a cold house to relax in. Another company who I called for solar and hvac didn't bother to follow up with hvac after i had told him i only wanted hvac and not solar. Same day just knew how to handle customers better and made sure our experience is nothing but superb.

Moving on to install day, Anthony, Adrian and Carlos was on site early with masks and and foot cover just ready to roll. They were all courteous and made sure everything was in perfect condition for the install. There was even a gas leak that Carlos caught in the attic, which he took care of and fixed for us. That is going above and beyond what they are set out to do.. and my family is truly grateful. The project manager, Dakota, made sure to extend superb payment options that made this whole project a sure go for me. Don't suffer in this heat and get your AC the same day from Same Day Heating and Air.

Donald McCuddy came out to my house to diagnose and/or fix my AC unit. Donald said to repair the system would cost $3,401, to upgrade it would cost $15,162 and for a whole new system it would cost $22,043. He showed me pictures and videos of all of the things that were wrong with the system and he took more than an hour of my time. He scared me with those prices, so today I decided to get a second opinion.

The man who came out this morning went up on my roof, saw that it was a simple capacitor and had one in his truck. He replaced it for $260, which included labor and the capacitor.

I want my $99 diagnostic fee back since Donald clearly didn't diagnose the problem correctly. I'm sure he was trying to take advantage of me. I will be disputing it with American Express.

This is the used car sales of the HVAC industry. From the moment they arrived it was all about earning my business and trying to get me to commit to an install date before we had even talked about what I wanted done. Our install estimator was friendly but spent so much time on the phone asking his boss questions I'm not sure he even knew anything about HVAC. He was a salesman through and through. In the end they were the second highest quote that we received but that was only after 30 minutes of the cheesiest good cop/bad cop routine I've ever been subjected to. It was something out of a sitcom, where they tried to wow me by quoting me high and then generously knocking down the price to what it was always going to be anyways.

On top of all this, they have several highly advertised selling points that, once you try to use them, turn it to be smoke and mirrors. First off, they have a 12 years warranty on parts and labor that is provided at $0 additional cost, which would be the best warranty out there if it were true. However, the price for the warranty is rolled into the rest of the install, a fact you find out when your try and get them to honor their 90 day best price guarantee on apples to apples systems. After sending over multiple quotes and attempting to haggle, their sales manager admitted that the reason their systems are so expensive is because of their 12 year warranty. Because of that, any quote you try to get them to price match must not only be the same size and include the exact itemized details as the Same Day quote but has to have the same warranty attached to it. (Most installers only offer 1-2 years on labor and 10 years on parts). They have a myriad of other guarantees and promise but if they can't honor these two, I have no faith in any of the others.

The only reason for 2 stars is that they do stock high end equipment and their quote was incredibly thorough. Otherwise save your time and money and go somewhere that doesn't treat you like walking payday.

Set up appointment 2 weeks ahead , between 11-1. Recieved text technician is running late at 114, and again at 131 that he on his way. Technician Daniel called at 138 saying he was in Ramona about an 1 hour away and once he arrives the job takes about 1.5 hour if i still had room for him to come.. I live by the wild animal park it about 25 mins, but I said to myself maybe he needs to stop by and get something to eat . 315 and still no show. Called him, not even apologetic, so I canceled him realizing by his tone of voice he didn't really want to come..

Got referred to Same Day from Home Depot, and liked their professionalism during the quoting process, so proceeded to go with them for an AC install. Install process was pretty smooth and huge shout out to Greg and Bruce for the install job (primarily the reason I am not giving even less stars). It took a day longer for the install, but totally understandable as unforseen things can happen. Everything after the install was a nightmare. I was left with 4-5 large holes in my drywall and a metal cover over on the outside of the house that needed to be patched/painted. They reassured me that they partner with another company to do this. It took weeks to get this said company to set an appointment time. One evening they called me at 5pm to ask when is the latest they could come to do the job which takes 2-3 hours, a bit absurd. After many attempts to try to schedule a time (what a normal business would do), they called me out of the blue to say they will be there in an hour. I was on a plane, and had to get my partner to coordinate going home to meet them so they can FINALLY do the job. Let's say we were less than impressed - from having to ask to take their shoes off, to leaving their equipment at the house, to having to come back to re-do certain spots - it was a nightmare that continued for over 3 weeks. At some point they just came with 30mins notice to do the outside painting portion and entered our yard without us being home... since it is totally not reasonable to think we can be home in 30mins notice. I expected for a company like Same Day to partner with better companies for this part of job and it ruined my whole experience.

A/c blowing hot air. Technician spent 1 hour checking equipment and offered a band aid quote to fix of $850 and indicated that other issues might be discovered once the band aid fix was done and then a factory fresh fix for $6,500. We got more than one quote from other companies. The a/c unit was fixed for$350 and is now happily running.
This company greatly inflates the price of their work. Never work with these guys

Sean was great! Had another guy come out and say that there was nothing wrong with my unit and said my coil didn't need to be cleaned even though I wanted it to be cleaned. So I got a second opinion through same day hearing and air and I'm so much happier with this experience than the other!

This is my first review, and I want to give a big shout out of appreciation to Anthony, Carlos and Adrian for taking care of my family and replacing my entire 30 year-old AC and furnace system. Anthony came out for an estimate on a Wednesday and was extremely thorough and thoughtful in covering everything he would include in the installation, mask on and booties on his shoes. They were able to come out the following Tuesday and get our AC replaced. Living in El Cajon during 95 degree weather, I am super grateful they could get out so soon.

Even bigger love to Carlos and Adrian for doing the labor and getting everything done quickly and efficiently. They had their masks on, were clean in taking care of the workspace, and showed me exactly what they were doing and replacing. Carlos powered through the 2 days installing the furnace and condenser unit while Adrian braved the attic. All that was old was tossed and replaced with the modern, down to the vents inside the attic and the registers. They concluded with a walkthrough of all the work that was done, a tutorial on my new thermostat, and asked if I had any questions. The big things are easy to take care of, but I greatly appreciate the little things that Carlos and Adrian addressed. Thanks for keeping us cool guys! My lady and kids thank you!!!

I had my A/C system serviced today. This was the first time after 6yrs since I had the system installed by Pacific Heating and Air. Why did I wait so long you ask? Well, Pacific Heating was UNTRUSTWORTHY... I did not think I could trust another HVAC company into my home again. Happy to report that our technician Esteban Reyes restored that trust today. Esteban was very helpful. Answered all of my questions. Showed my what he was talking about. Detailed in all of his photo evidence and explaining what he was showing me. I'm still waiting for Pacific Heating to send me the evidence on why they quoted over $7k for need repairs. No question, Esteban is welcomed and trusted with my repair needs. Same Day (Jeff, Jamie, and JP) were terrific. Most expertise out of five companies we considered, and the best priced for what we purchase (one company was cheaper but probably didn't realize the difficulty of our project.

They installed a dual zone system (one slime line AC and one furnace with two zones) in a 3700 sq ft home. Best controllers. Works great.

My aging parents were in need of an inspection on their existing heater. They had a coupon for Same Day Heating and Air conditioning so they called them up and scheduled an appointment. During the inspection it was discovered their system was not functioning properly and there could be a fire danger. We received a quote on the spot for a quality replacement unit. The installation team came the very next morning and installed the unit. They were neat and respectful throughout the whole process.

I highly recommend this company. They are top notch and very good at what they do. They answered all my parents questions along the way and the new unit is working great. I promise you will not be disappointed.

I initially called to take advantage of the $39 tuneup /inspection because we were considering having our 40 year old system replaced. It was costing us a fortune to use it. Donald McC.. drove clear across the county to keep our appointment and did a thorough job without trying to upsell me. He took time to educate me about how our system worked and explained that it was working as well as could be expected. I asked him for a quote for a replacement system, which he emailed me within an hour. He also told me it would be good for 90 days since I wasn't going to want it done during the holidays. After making an appointment later, Lonnie and Bruce arrived on time and completed the job in one day even though there were some minor complications fitting the new heating unit to the old setup. They were friendly and professional, placing light tarps down to protect the floors as they worked. ÀI was impressed with their attention to detail and conscientiousness, taking extra time to run some new wiring, replace an old breaker and even answer all my dumb questions. And, the final price was exactly what I had been quoted.

We needed a quick response to a plumbing issue we had outside. We scheduled the service with Same Day. They came out exactly on time, and had 3 technicians. I believe 1 was in training. Blake was the main technician, and he had Raul and Jelan working with him this day. Blake took charge, assessed the situation, gave me the quote, and began work immediately. Blake's professionalism and great personality, along with his expertise and suggestions for a complete and long term fix was admirable. His team worked seamlessly and took Blake's instructions to create a flawless job together. I was impressed how they respected his words and instructions while they were all working. The technician who came out, Hashem, was pleasant, quick and knowledgable. The receptionist when calling, Ponaam, was also exceptional. I spoke to her many times as the company had a hard time getting a part delivered from American Home Shield home warrant company and after waiting over 2 weeks without any heat with serious health issues in my family at home, this company stepped in directly to get the part. I was very please with the entire process of buying a new a/c and heating unit. Anthony came to my house, as he was highly recommended by about 4 neighbors that did it too, and listened to what I needed and gave me some options and 2 different estimates. They were much better than I thought they would be and very fair. Also they have some financing options. Then the install crew with Adrian and 2 others were fantastic. Very clean plus very patient to explain everything to me. They installed a smart thermostat that I bought separately and helped me set it up before they left and put in more efficient output registers in all my rooms. I couldn't be happier with my decision to listen to my neighbors and go with this company. Best part is it is guaranteed for 12 years and they also have a yearly plan for $120 if you want them to come twice a year to service the unit. They suggested getting a whole new AC system when they were having issues figuring out the problem with my mine They even recommended the furnace getting replaced even though I dont use it. Luckily I called another company to get a second opinion, and they were able to find the small problem and fix it easily. The other company saved me $8k+ and the hassle of getting an entire new system.

Javier the tech did a through inspection and alerted me to some areas of my HVAC system that needed attention. Javier was able to do the needed maintenance and repairs that day. Just the air sealing of the HVAC external leaks made a giant difference in the volume of air coming out of the vents.

These guys are awesome. I woke up one morning to a really cold house and the heat not working properly. I sent a message to Same Day and had a response in literally 10 minutes saying they could have someone out to look at my furnace at no charge by the end of the day. Throughout the day they were in constant communication regarding when they would be at my house. Mike showed up and did some basic tshoot and determined it was the gas valve, he didn't have the right valve with him but promised to be back first thing in the AM with the correct part. Mike was at my house first thing the next morning to install the valve. I was really impressed with their communication and professionalism. My a/c was not working due to stupidity by HOA hired painting company which used my a/c unit to stand on to paint trim on building instead of using available ladders. Quote I was given to repair it was way beyond my budget so I lived without a/c for almost 2 years until the current killer heatwave started and then I had to have the a/c repaired regardless of cost. My usual company was unavailable but Same Day was and they sent Sean to help. He was one of the nicest gentlemen I have ever met. My dog fell in love with him! Sean evaluated the problem, diagnosed the probability and in less than an hour, I had cold air coming through my vents. He even noticed how dirty the filter is and will be replacing it in a day or two. I have never been so relieved about a repair and so pleased with the quality of the technician as I am with Same Day and especially with Sean. I literally cried with relief when my a/c was working once again. The price was absolutely amazingly reasonable, about a tenth of what I had been quoted by another company. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Same Day to any of my family or friends needing a/c repair. And I do not write rave reviews like this often at all. I am grateful to Same Day and to Sean.

We were looking for a new furnace and I had done a lot of research into furnace brands and companies who installed them. We purchased a Night and Day Furnace with a 12 year parts and labor warrantee from Same Day. Jeff explained why we didn't need the fanciest, most expensive furnace since we live in coastal southern California and showed us where our 32 year old furnace was leaking oil and had rust. He also told us that we would need to have our furnace permitted and inspected, then have another HERS (energy efficiency) inspection done but they would include the costs and make the arrangements for us. (We hadn't been told this before). The furnace was installed the next day! I dropped them from a solid 5 stars to 4 because the new furnace has the filter in a pull out drawer at the bottom and it was installed so it only pulled out part way before running into the front lip of our furnace compartment. True to their No Surprises guarantee, they came out and made adjustments so that the filter compartment can be pulled out all the way. I feel that they are a very solid company and I would definitely recommend them.

Few days ago, I created a Yelp quote request for someone to come out and inspect our two AC units. Same Day Heating and Air Conditioning replied promptly and were able to tell me estimated cost (best deal for tune up service we were able to get upfront) right away and we scheduled their technician to come today.

Sean C. arrived early (called first to make sure it's ok) and was a very nice and professional person to deal with. We thought we had a problem and were expecting him to confirm it, but he was very honest in telling us that in fact our both AC units are in good shape and do not need repairs. David and Lamar did a great job installing the new ductwork and making it as efficient as possible. From the start, this company was quick to respond to us, and eager to start! Once here, Carlos and Chapo did such a great job at our place. We had been told in the past by other AC guys that our tiny crawl space under a huge house is the hardest they have ever had to work with (one company even passed on the job). BUT these guys did the job quickly and with a great attitude. This was the second time rats had somehow chewed their way under our house and made a home in our ducting. It was emotionally going to be difficult undertaking to have all the ducting replaced again, but this company made the process easy. They even did a couple things that the last company we used didn't do-- they included new metal vents for our flooring, and sealed them underneath to the ducting with a special metal tape. These extra special touches were a nice surprise. I will recommend them to everyone!

How does one write a review with no stars? This is my second Yelp review and both on central A/C replacements with just the 16 SEER changeout 5T as we had our furnace and coils all new in 2012. Their quote was $8,500. The most expensive off all my estimates. One at $8100, one at $7500 which was a grovel price to me if I could have it done the next day. Huh? No pressure there and the final one was $5,077. Can you guess which one I picked? No brainer. It was installed of course by another company all new 16 SEER guaranteed 10 years parts and labor. This was done a week ago and all is wonderful. Guess now all you have to do is look at most of the other companies to see which one I chose. I just don't like to give any competitor another competitor's name. My great review is on Yelp though. Good luck it's a jungle out there. LOL and stay safe.

I called them to check out our air conditioning which was not working. The rep came out for $100 diagnostic. He told us that it would be $600 to replace a transformer and also to proceed to sell us a new unit. I called another company, they fixed the whole thing for $275 and said we did not need another unit.

I am really disappointed in their service and how they tried to gouge us in the summer time and tried to upsell us to a new unit.

Called for a summer AC tune up and got more than expected. Photos of the dirty fan, measurements for needed electrical repairs, and a very thorough and knowledgeable young man to explain everything and offer options. I went for the in line ionizer for all the particles to keep them from attaching to the fan going forward, which was more than I expected to pay for the service, but..it was offered and well explained. No pressure. I think it will really slow down future problems in my very idiosyncratic system in an old two level house. Very professional visit, and very accommodating of my need for good Covid behavior.

From start to finish, Same day heating & Air conditioning was great: Ryan, the sales rep, walked me through the different technical consideration to keep in mind and gave me multiple scenarios for me to decide from. The quotes provided had everything listed and gave me confidence in what would be done.
During the install, Jeff and Jaimie were exceptionally nice and accommodating with my schedule, avoiding to make loud noises when I was on a call. They were careful to keep the dust to a minimum and always cleaned after themselves. They took the time to walk me through the whole installation and document what they did so that I had all the info I needed to maintain my system.
In an industry that has so many pros willing to cut corners and let their customers deal with the consequences, working with Same Day Heating & Air conditioning was a breath of fresh air. I cannot recommend them enough!

Decided to go with this company for a mini split install. The initial rep, Bill, was helpful and the actual install was a smooth experience. Just know that if they need to do repair on drywall they cut out during install, it will take longer than they tell you. we had open holes in our walls and ceiling for 9 days even though install took 1. We were told it would be taken care of within 3.

The person in charge of scheduling, (Betsy?), is just unresponsive or terrible with communication. We had to reach out a few times and were given inaccurate timelines or just no call back. It will definitely take longer to get the repairs done than they tell you.

I will say, that the drywall guy they use ,Edgar, does a great job once he eventually gets scheduled.

Monica in front office was very good in communicating with making sure the appointment was made and when the technicians will arrive at our home. My very old system had broken down several times in the last few years. I knew that it needed to be replaced, but I kept hoping to get a few more years out of it. It broke again this week. I called Same Day since I had been happy with their service during prior repairs. Justin came out to troubleshoot. He offered me a price for repair. I mentioned that I knew that they system was on its last legs. Justin was able to get me several discounts, including a partial rebate for previous repairs, which brought the cost down to a very reasonable price. We posted a review regarding how terrific Same day Heating and Air Conditioning was when they replaced our airconditioning unit and I wanted to say how wonderful the follow-through has been from this company. When the Air Conditioner was installed, the company said they had to fabricate a piece that would be installed in our kitchen vent. Today a serviceman, Joseph Charese arrived to install the new vent noticed that the new vent did not match the other vents in the downstairs of our home and he replaced three vents to make them all of the vents match!

Joseph Charese was a professional, fast, and efficient man who seems to really love his job and the work he is performing for Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning followed through on all of their promises to us and we are very pleased with Joseph Charese and all of the other employees who sold and installed our new air conditioner.

Great service from Adrian, Chapo and Carlos. Very friendly and professional. With two kiddos having online learning at home, they were very courteous and waited until my boys were done with with schooling before shutting off the electricity. When they were done with the job, they walked us through what they did and answered all our questions!
Love my new easy-to-use thermostat!!

This company answered my Request a Quote on Yelp. They took down my address. Contrary to the name, they couldn't schedule service same day, but offered me an appointment 5 days out after some messages back and forth.

They did, however, manage to cancel my appointment same day. In fact, they cancelled within their scheduled arrival window. So I guess the name Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning describes the time frame in which they will likely cancel.

Note: they don't offer service to downtown San Diego residents (according to the cancellation voicemail I just received).

Not cool, and definitely not professional.

UPDATE:
The owner Jim contacted me to apologize and to offer to make things right. I appreciated his call.

Potential customers should still note that this company does not work on downtown condos because our air conditioners utilize water cooling systems, and the company's technicians are not yet trained on these systems.

Our 50+ year old furnace finally died. We went through Home Depot to get a quote and was contacted with in an hour by Same day. Anthony came out a few days later as scheduled and evaluated our home and situation(attic unit). And presented us with several options. We were so impressed by his transparent no pressure approach that we decided to make the call the next day and schedule the install for the following Monday.

Jeff and Jamie arrived on time and Anthony came by an hour or so later to check on us and make sure everything was going as planned.

I could go on for paragraphs about how happy we are but I will try to summarize things up in a few bullet points.

Fast: less than a week from first call to system installed.

Get to yes: our house is old with a lot of challenges, Jeff and Jamie put there heads together and got us to code, and got our system in on schedule. No opps we didn't estimate that that or we can't do this.

Professional: throughly explained what they were doing and why. Including realistic maintenance recommendations and how to best use the system. When challenges present with our electric system and unit placement they tackled them with a challenge accepted attitude. Constantly working to get it done and get it done right. Jeff and Jamie were both constantly quoting code requirements with regard as to why they were doing things in a specific way. Exceedingly polite, and extremely positive as well.

Clean: my floors and attic are cleaner than when they arrived.

Bottom line is I would recommend Same Day to anyone that ask. Replacing a HVAC system is not a cheap or welcomed event. But from initial estimate to finish Antony, Jeff and Jamie all made this a great experience.

Aleko showed up on time and as-promised. I was impressed with his thorough inspection of my heating unit. He did a great job taking pictures and explaining everything I needed to know. He's very professional.

The company itself has been great about calling to schedule the regular appointments included with my maintenance plan. I appreciate this so much. I highly recommend Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning.

Had complete system replaced/installed...excellent service and pricing. Very pleased with the new system.

Technicians Lamar and Mike M. changed/corrected my ductwork and registers. These technicians were very polite, clean and professional...outstanding!!! Highly recommend!!!

Responded to a Home Depot ad for $59 ac tune up and wished I never had! Esteban Reyes came out and immediately told me that the unit was too old (30 years) and would not last much longer. He took pictures and I told him that it blows cold and works great but he said he couldn't service it and proceeded to tell me that 20K is what I could expect to pay for new one.
That visit was 6 weeks ago and turned ac on this week due to heat wave and no cold air! Had 2 different service techs come out and confirmed that the nipple was bent beyond repair and all the Freon leaked out. Neither company can repair the nipple and I am forced to replace the entire system now. Granted it may not have lasted more than another season, but finding out that something was deliberately tampered with...warning others before they make the same mistake!! Lesson to me is if it ain't broke, don't fix it and certainly don't have this company do any more work for me--by the way other quotes are about 10K, compared to his 20K.

I don't write many reviews but really wanted to send a BIG shout out to this company and their employees. I was impressed from the moment I called until the moment the technician left my home. I called on Tuesday afternoon because my AC wasn't working. The person who answered the phone scheduled someone to come out the next day and followed up immediately with a text informing me of the appointment time/date. She also explained all the precautions that staff are taking during the pandemic when entering peoples homes.

Mike M called me in the morning to let me know that he would arrive in 1 hour and sure enough, right on time! He wore a mask, gloves and foot covering when he came in. I was grateful that the issue with the AC was minor and that Mike thoroughly explained why the AC stopped and what part needed to be replaced and why. He took pictures up in my attic and explained other items that will eventually need to be addressed. When I asked for quotes for a brand new HVAC system (for the future), he not only provided the quote but also showed me pictures on an I Pad and told me about financing options.

I am beyond impressed with the professionalism of this company and amazing customer service. As a single Mom, I have had plenty of repair technicians take advantage of my situation so it's hard to trust. I now have a company that I can not only trust but recommend to anybody who needs service to their AC/Heating. Thank you!
