You know, as a Facilities Manager, the vendors that I bring into the company for repairs and on site service is crucial. They need to be professional in practice and especially in appearance. You see, heads of corporations travel to my building often from all over the world. It is preferable that no repairs or service are needed during one of these visits. However, what can I say? Pipes just don't play by the rules.

Yesterday, I had a leaky toilet that had been leaking un-noticed for a while as it was in a restroom rarely used. By the time it was discovered, who knew how bad the damage was or the root cause. All I saw was a puddle and fear of the major flood in my building of 2 years ago that cost me over $14,000 to repair hit me hard. That flood was due to a bad cleaning service, not plumbing.

So I called up Randy at Plumbing Plus and asked him to send Isaiah Maher over. I have used Plumbing Plus for all of my plumbing issues since I have been employed at my current company. Isaiah has always been my preferred plumber because he is professional in practice as well as in appearance. This was critical for me because I had the head of Doosan in from Korea in my board room. I was so busy that I didn't have time to watch a plumber in my secure building and make sure he stayed in the approved areas. Thus Isaiah's experience in my building was essential. I gave him a key fob and asked him to fix it.

To make a long story.... well.....not as long. Bwahahahaha. Isaiah fixed the problem with no interruption to my meeting and was in and out for under $700. Now the price for the repair is not as important as what I got for the repair. Professionalism, accurate diagnosis, a trusted vendor in my secure facility, and all without disturbing the huge meeting that was going on the whole time.

I have included some photos of Isaiah doing some work for me on a previous job. Because I was so busy this time he was out, taking photos was out of the question and didn't even cross my mind.

I called plumbing plus because our water was leaking into the garage and we had no idea why. We called multiple plumbers but they couldn't help with our predicament but referred us to plumbing plus because they deal with problems within the wall pipes. Their response was immediate. It took them 20 minutes to come to our place and fix the problem. It was a lot less stressful with Scott F. who was friendly and walked us through everything that was happening and why--then fixed everything as quickly as possible. He also did not try to rip us off like other plumbers and gave us the best deal. I highly recommend this company among others in San Diego, they are professional, the most responsive, and give you the best deal without trying to take monetary advantage.

These guys are great! I could say that's it without an explanation, because they are that good but here's why:

Our plumbing stopped up for the millionth time this year on Saturday morning. The tub was backed up, the toilet's weren't flushing; it was a nightmare. I called Plumbing Plus at 9am and asked if they could come out and fix my problem. The guy who answered said they had one person working and could get someone out between 3 and 5pm that day. I said, Between 3 and 5pm? I won't be able to use my toilets all day. Well, let me tell you. I could hear him tapping his pen or pencil in the background and then he said he could get someone out to us by 11am. I thanked him and began the waiting process.

Guess what time Chris, the plumber showed up........9:40am. Forty minutes after my call. Is that customer service or what. So Chris started the what to do conversation with my husband and ended it by suggesting he get the immediate problem fixed and setup a meeting for next week to resolve the bigger issue. Fine by me.

Now to have the pipes scoped, do some digging, and replace our pipes.

Changed out our leaking water pressure regulator and shutoff valve. Responded very fast and took care of the problem. Gilbert did a great job and communicated very well. WTF?!? $392.21 for them to pull out my washer/dryer and tell me I have a huge problem?!?! My HOA called out Plumbing Plus to check my washer/dryer for a possible leak. I would have NEVER called them based on these yelp reviews alone. They basically pulled out my washer/dryer, found a kinked hose that had been slowly spraying water onto my wall for the past year and a half, resulting in some major water damage and mold. This is their exact description of the work: Removed washer and dryer stacked unit. Found wall soaking wet and base board wet. Water coming from washing machine hose that was kinked when they put washer in place against wall causing water to spray when washer was being used. Left washer disconnected and recommend a restoration company be called to assess damages and repair. That took about 30 minutes (doesn't include the 40 minutes 1 guy had to wait while another guy came out to help pull the washer/dryer unit out). Wayyyyy overpriced.

Wish I had something good to add to all the fine reviews that Plumbing Plus has on Yelp. Although the personnel at the company were polite, no one could give me a cost associated with replacing two parts in my shower stall. I even offered them the part number.
The reason I was given, from Randy, was that the plumbers they send work out of a book based on the job. That price is on their I-Pads. Here is where Randy lost credibility with me. I asked him what the book price would be for the job I had described and he told me they don't keep the book at the office. Really? He went on to also say they don't quote prices over the phone because of problems in the past. As I said, polite but unwilling to give me any idea what the cost might be. Very satisfied with our service. Our water softener needed to be replaced but the housing unit was stuck. Additionally, it appeared our tankless water heater had not been serviced in years and so we wanted to get both taken care of in the same visit.

Technician was prompt, friendly and explained the work to be done and cost up front. Work took about half an hour to complete. Everything appears to be working fine (all of our toilets are suddenly noisy after flushing but Im hoping that's just a result of the water having been temporarily shut off and will self resolve. Will follow up if it continues to be a problem). I appreciate that they put us on an email list to remind us when service is due next year. Overall, based on my experience this far, I would highly recommend!

No one wants a plumbing problem, however, if you find you need help this is definitely a great place to go. Jared and David came out and worked on my house sewer line for quite sometime. They took quite awhile troubleshooting the problem and then they went the extra effort to fix it. They ended up putting a new toilet in my house and everything works perfectly now. I really liked that Jared kept me in the loop the entire time and his thought process, it's good to learn.

No hesitation, I highly recommend Plumbing Plus, Jared and David in particular.

Came home to find a backed-up sink that would not drain. In a time crunch, I called and spoke with Mike who helped try to diagnose the problem. When all home measures failed, Mike was able to get Darryl to us within the hour. Darryl was pleasant, knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. He not only was able to fix the clogged drain, but also left the area cleaner than he found it. Would definitely call again if we need a plumber.

I've been a customer for a long time, and I appreciated the prompt service when my water heater went out on a Saturday and a new unit was installed on Monday, but Scott showed up with the wrong size unit (50 gal instead of 40) and went ahead and removed the old 40 gal unit and installed the new 50 gal unit before noticing the mistake and telling my wife he would make it a no charge upgrade. I have no way of knowing if I really only paid for a 40 gal unit, or if my seemingly now undersized overflow pan will protect me from a future flood, but I will definitely be paying to keep the extra 10 gals hot 24/7/365 for the life of the unit. Disappointing.

To prep for a new shower install, the existing drain had to be replaced with a bolt down drain prior to the hot mopping. This involved using a small jackhammer to remove concrete, installing the new drain, and finishing up with new concrete. Plumbing Plus did an excellent job. Everyone I dealt with was professional and pleasant. Christina, my contact in the office, kept me informed of the appointments being scheduled. Gilbert immediately understood the work to be performed when coming out for the estimate. Edgar and Matt did a great job completing the work. I highly recommend this company.

I needed to have the gas line, for the stove top, moved for our kitchen remodel. The pipe needed to be behind the wall so I called Plumbing Plus and made an appointment for the next day. The plumber, Robert, had the materials on the truck so he gave me a quote and did the job. The quote seemed kind of high and was surprised that they didn't put on a new shut off valve. I was left with a half inch NPT cap. Stubbed out as they say. It made sense not to put on a valve without it hooked up to something for safety reasons. The valve could get accidentally bumped open. They ended up giving me a valve for me to put on when the stove top is ready to be installed. They are easy to work with and Robert did a great job moving the pipe. Will use again.

I can't say enough thank yous!! This was the first time we ever used this company. Maggie the dispatcher was she was able to have someone come to our business right away. We have both conference rooms filled with important people. Darryl arrived to save the day! He inspected and fixed our situation. I first contacted Plumbing Plus because they were listed on the Noritz website as an authorized installer of tankless hot water heaters, and I was looking for options to address hard water problems. I was expecting a return email asking me to call, (which happened with one plumbing company), or minimal information. I was pleasantly surprised when I promptly received from their service manager, Randy Porter, a lengthy and detailed email explaining various options, the pros and cons of each, and the approximate cost. I had other questions, which were also promptly (and thoroughly) answered. My skepticism in the product, (Flow-Tech Home system), was obvious, yet Randy patiently provided a great deal of information, and then referred me to the product representative to answer questions for which he did not have the answer. Long story short, my questions were answered, and I decided to go forward with the installation.

This afternoon the plumber, Garrett, arrived on time, explained the process in detail, and completed the installation. He was pleasant and professional, (perhaps one of the best plumbers I've hired), and he did an exceptional job on the project, cleaning up and answering all my questions before he left.

I've hired a number of plumbers, electricians, carpenters, etc. over the years; very few were truly concerned about the quality of their work. My experience with Plumbing Plus, and in particular, Randy and Garrett, was one of the best I've had with any trade, and I wouldn't hesitate to use (or recommend) them again.

I did not compare prices with other plumbing companies, but based an estimate that was given to me by a plumber from another company, Plumbing Plus was more expensive, but certainly in the same general range. Given the quality of their service, (which I'm assuming will be the same if I need a follow-up), the difference is reasonable. I'm still skeptical of the product, (and believe it's over-priced), but I'm optimistic that it will do what it was sold to do.

Isaiah and Darrell spent almost the whole day doing projects at my home. Two toilets with all needed items were replaced and the old ones hauled off. A 6 gallon water heater was added with all the piping and parts needed. This along with my tankless system that they serviced as well should keep us in clean clothes again . They were polite and efficient in there work and made double sure everything was working as it should. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure it was better than when they arrived

The technician, Lamonte, arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem. The water regulator was not working which caused too much water pressure to come into the house. Symptoms were exhibited in our upstairs bathrooms with the valves unable to stop the water from filling up in the tanks.

The whole solution was to replace the regulator and the toilet valves, although I elected to forgo replacing the toilet valves to cut some cost. After the water regulator was replaced, Lamonte did his diligence to check my toilets and even adjusted the valves to their working conditions.

Highly recommend Plumbing Plus! I had a cold water slab leak in a newly remodeled bathroom and they sent a plumber out same day to take a look. He was able to schedule the repair for the next morning. Robert was our plumber and he was courteous, quick and worked clean. He even took consideration in opening our walls making them easier to repair and placing new pipes in less visible areas than I feared. He completed the job without any damage to our new tile and fixtures. Will make them my first call for any future repairs although I am hoping not to see them again anytime soon!

Unfortunately, I didn't have great first experience - all due to their cost/quote, not their service.
I had a water heater that was throwing an error code that the burner needed to be replaced so I called Plumbing Plus for the first time based on all the positive reviews.
They are very responsive and the nice lady on the phone was very friendly, courteous and professional.
The technician promptly showed up and called me after he was done (I wasn't there) and said that he restarted the water heater and everything looked fine (no issues with the burner which was good news to me. Maybe the wind blew the pilot out, but that doesn't explain the error code.) Anyway, all great so far!
He was initially going to charge $228 to re-light the water heater which I thought was extremely excessive, given he must have been there all of about 20 minutes and no parts were replaced. This was a standard call on a Tue during normal business hours and they are located about 8 miles away.
He explained there was the $59 dispatch fee (which was explained on the phone) plus a minimum Quick Fix fee of $166. I told him I thought $228 was excessive and he agreed to remove the $59 dispatch fee. He was very polite and there was no arguing, so I settled at $166, which I still feel is excessive.
However, the bigger issue I was disappointed with is I asked for a quote to replace the burner in case the burner really does need to be replaced should the issue happed again. The quote I received was for $1258 and doesn't include the burner! I about fell on the floor. Surely, this has to be a mistake?
The same brand/size/type water heater at Lowes sells for $750 for a completely new unit (not including installation/permits/disposal, etc). Replacing the burner/controller/thermopile assy is a pretty straight forward procedure and doesn't take that long and the part can be found online for about $250.
Anyway, they seem to be good at responding to Yelp comments, so I hope they provide some more insight and I'll retract/amend my comments if appropriate.
Again, the technician and the gal on the phone were all very courteous and service was prompt, just way too expensive.

Sent a Yelp request to contact a few businesses at 2:30pm in the afternoon on a Monday...this one among others, responded in a timely manner. I couldn't get the spigot of my house in the backyard needed someone to take it off and replace it cuz it was leaking. The gasket had gone. But had been on the house for a while. These guys quoted me almost $500 just to change the spicket. There quote exactly reads like this:
The emergency fee is $149, and a rough estimate on the repair would be 250-350.

Just to change my spigot.

We have been using Plumbing Plus for a few years now since we had a bathroom remodel done by their sister company Remodel Works. I have to say they have either gotten too big or they have a few not so good hires that have happened since we used them last. We decided to do a small remodel of our guest bath (toilet, vanity and light with new paint) I called 3 weeks in advance to make an appt for the Plumber to come install the vanity top (sink and faucet) and the Toilet. I made sure to have all of the parts there for the appt and called to confirm the work the day before. The Plumber was on time but upon seeing the amount of work he had he said we would have to reschedule. I argued that we at least needed to have the toilet installed that day. The soonest he could come back to do the was a week and a half later (this is holiday time, but still unreasonable) I did call and talk to the service manager today (Monday) and he was able to give me an appt sooner but I'm not sure I will ever use this company again or recommend it to anyone I know.

I wanted to change the fixture on my pot filler (faucet)over the stove. I called several places and even sent photos but, people didn't seem to want to take on the project because it required drilling the tile. Robert from PP came to give me an estimate and installed it the next morning. The office was very professional and let me know what to expect every step of the way. There wasn't a single issue with the job and he was in and out in under an hour. Will use them again without a doubt. Nice to deal with such professional and competent staff!!

Leak soaked the ceiling, walls and floor. Darryl from Plumbing Plus was able to come out right away. He talked about his best guess about where the leak was and possibly he might have to open up more than one hole. Luckily the first hole he opened in the ceiling revealed the leak. He fixed it up, explained what he did and cleaned up. Very professional, arrived when he said he would, did the work as promised. Followup included detailed email with lots of photograph documentation. Nice guy, wish all services were as professionally done like this!

Would very much recommend Plumbing Plus, and I'll definitely be calling again if necessary. Darryl Fountain and Tyler Smock came out to my condo for a hot water slab leak after a separate company couldn't complete the job.

Darryl and Tyler rerouted my hot water line bringing all of it above ground. They were punctual, professional, polite, and completed two jobs with minimal down time for me.

Also, the customer service from the initial call through completion was above standard.

My hot water has been smelling funky the last few months so I called the company Plumbing Plus who installed it a year and nine months ago. Randy said they would send out a plumber the next day between 12:00 and 2p.m. The doorbell rang at 11:45 a.m. and Isaiah was there to repair my water heater. He replaced the anode and flushed the water heater all the while putting up with me asking all kinds of questions. I'm retired and like to bend ears when I get the chance. We discussed the odor problem and decided the new anode would probably correct the problem for a while. He cleaned up the mess, and was out the door in 1 hour and 15 minutes. It was a pleasure to speak to someone who is completely professional and personal at the same time. I will call and ask for Isaiah the next time I have a plumbing problem.

Plumbing Plus came to my house yesterday (05/31/22) to replace the bathroom spout in one of my bathrooms. I purchased the replacement unit and provided it to Plumbing Plus. They were in my house for 10 minutes. They were in the bathroom for 7 minutes. They charged me $175 for 7 minutes of work. That is an hourly rate of $1500. I questioned the charge via email with their president, Michael De Silva. No response. I've used several quality plumbing companies. I would not include Plumbing Plus in that group. Do yourself a favor and use another provider.

Pluming Plus just left my house, where they cut out an existing integrated Corian kitchen sink and replaced it with a beautiful large, deep, one bowl Blanco sink. It is no easy job to cut out a sink that is part of the counter top, but they did it beautifully. I cannot say enough about the great job they did. They were here on time, cleaned up after themselves beautifully, and even pointed out some parts we didn't need so the bill came down slightly at the end. Management worked with me on the price which I very much appreciated. I would have liked to have been able to pay a bit less for the job, but in this case we definitely got what we paid for. I will definitely call them again for my plumbing needs. They are honest, on time, and meticulous about their work.

i have been using Plumbing Plus for years now and always get the best service! The Plumbers are always courteous & informative regardless of what Your needs might be. I recently had a whole house water filtration system installed in my home and I LOVE it! The work was done in a very timely manner and all things explained before installation. I no longer buy bottled water because the water is great! My showers are easier to clean as well as my laundry seeming cleaner & not fading so quickly. I have used these plumbers twice now. Each time I had great service! Today Nate Lopez came out and fixed my problem with my kitchen sink faucet. He was on time, nice, did the job quickly and completely fixed the problem with the faucet fixture. Last time they came out I had a problem with my hot water heater valves and my experience was the same. I used Plumbing Plus based on the recommendation of my neighbor and she said equally good things about her experiences. I'm happy to have found a good, honest, reliable plumber! Thank you.

I had some work done today, the second time I have used Plumbing Plus. I had three things to fix (shower cartridge replacement that had broken internally, toilet shutoff valve replacement, pressure regulator replacement). Alex was my tech. He is friendly, professional, and competent. One of the tasks was a particular challenge (shower cartridge replacement) and I was afraid he might have to do something very invasive and expensive, but he exercised some creativity to get the old one out (it was seriously creative) and got it done without having to resort to the very invasive and expensive method. His fix literally works better and far smoother than when it was new. Come to think of it, all three fixes work better than when they were new. That is fact, not an exaggeration.

The technician was almost 2 hours late to an appointment that had a 2 hour window. During the inspection I told him exactly what was wrong with it and he agreed with me on what was the issue and then left. Basically showing up for 5 minutes and telling me what I already knew and walked away with my $80. Then I didnt hear back from anyone about a quote or price for days. When I finally did hear back I was quoted for the washer repair at over $600 for a simple line replacement that other places quoted my issue at $170. And when I asked why the charge was so high no one could tell me so I had to call back several times and no one knew what was going on with my account as no one was taking notes on my issue. And days later when they got back to me they generously dropped my quote to only double what everyone else was quoting me at. So they basically made me wait for a tech and made me wait for a half reasonable quote then because I obviously didnt move forward with the overcharge they basically stole my 80$ inspection fee. I would not recommend this service.

He was professional, understanding, friendly, knowledgeable, quick, and provided exemplary customer service that surpassed my expectations. I would highly recommend him to anybody. Maggie-Receptionist was very unprofessional when trying to schedule an appointment. Called back and spoke to someone else who was more helpful than maggie. I do not recommend this company they will scam you and over charge for thing they didn't even do. Also am reporting when they did come out to do the work. The smell of weed was so strong I couldn't take it. Then the receptionist who was on site doing an evaluation proceed to Deny she smelt like weed or alcohol-(maggie). I'm contacting the business association for the county and make a report this is poor quality. I've had work done by them before and it was fine until this last experience. I will also be contacting the state department to evaluate y'all licensing have people on drugs and under the influence is not acceptable nor do I think is should pay this Outrageous price and some extremely expensive warranty. Do not use these people.

My tank-less broke because the company that installed it (Tarpy) failed to make sure there was a pressure regulator on the house. It went out on 12/18, we called Plumbing Plus because they are a certified repair company for the tank-less. Isahiah was sent to do the repair. He was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He wasn't able to complete the repair immediately because he had to order the parts. Well the first time he came out there were other issues from leakage and he wasn't able to complete it then either.
Christmas/weekend happened and still no parts were sent from the tank-less company. So they finally arrived and he was successful! Isahiah went above and beyond to help us. He showed me how to clean out the screens in the kitchen faucets too. I highly recommend Plumbing Plus.

We had a crack in our main water line that resulted in the pipes needing to be replaced. The lead guy, Kyle, was very accommodating. We had some hiccups in communication mostly due to their ineffective call center servicer. After a mistake was made with pipe location they corrected the issue and even replaced my plan that had been damaged in the process. Overall we are satisfied with our service.

Minus one star for the lack of communication passed from their call center to their plumbing staff.
Pro tip: make sure you talk to the plumber directly about any concerns you have while they are still there as getting in touch is challenging after.

I had an appointment set up for today between 8-12 (yes, expect a big window of time) with a commitment that they would call 30 minutes in advance of arriving. At 11:45 I get a call that they can't make it and that they could come out in 4 days. What horrible customer service that they made me wait so long and they are quick to tell you that you have to pay $59 just for them to show up, but no accommodation when they waste your time. I will not use them and warn you to be careful as there are many other good options.

Our water heater pilot went out on 12/28/2021 and I weren't able to relit it. I contacted many water heater companies, but some were out and some couldn't come out until later. Plumbing Plus managed to be able to send a technician in the afternoon, I was relieved and hopeful that we could have hot water back.

The technician came and diagnosed the issue, he explained to me what his proposed repair was, which was to replace one of the parts in the ignition unit. That was a ~$400 fix and being desperate, I asked him to proceed.

One hour later, he told me he wasn't able to take the ignition unit apart to replace the part. He told me the options would be replacing the complete ignition unit, or replace the water heater. I was given quotes for the two options, but was left without hot water. And I was charged $99 for the time/effort he spent.

Luckily for me, a friend referred me to a handyman, who came the same day in the evening and after less than 15 mins, he managed to restart the pilot without even replacing the part! We were so happy that we had hot water back. The water heater is still working perfectly today.

So what can I say? I completely lost confidence in this company and I would definitely not go to them ever, nor will I recommend anyone to them.

Our water is backed up in the house all the way up into the shower after a remodel. Kyle from Plumbing plus came out and did an amazing job he actually found out there was a dead squirrel inside and showed me with the camera he spent about an hour and a half cleaned it all out then went back with the camera and saw some more debris that was farther back . He clean those out and showed me everything was crystal clear took his time did amazing job thank you Plumbing plus for hiring people like Kyle to come out and represent you. Great experience

I had a terrific experience with Plumbing Plus, starting with my initial phone call. Courteous and professional, Benita dispatched Tyler Smock to my home for a kitchen faucet repair (and eventual replacement). Tyler arrived quickly, and after examining the issues, made informed recommendations that gave me several options based on price and functionality. Once the parts arrived a couple of days later, Benita scheduled his return, and Tyler completed the job while also helping resolve other plumbing issues I knew existed with my dishwasher and shower head. The plumber shows up at 9, doesn't start work till 1030. Then is so incompetent he believes screws are stripped when he's using the wrong size Allen wrench. They upsell a SINGLE MOTHER and VETERAN on stuff she did not need. At a cost of over a thousand dollars for less than three hours of work. Not to mention he left trash behind and didn't bother to caulk any of the fixture, because it has a rubber seal. What about the grout and tile? Make sure you go somewhere else for your plumbing problems. THESE GUYS ARE THIEVES!!!

WARNING, MAKE SURE YOU GET SEVERAL OTHER BIDS FROM 5 YELP STAR PLUMBERS, BECAUSE PLUMBING PLUS QUOTED MORE THAN TWICE OTHER 5 YELP STAR PLUMBERS TO SWAP OUT MY WARRANTY WATER HEATER. $1250 Plumbing Plus' quote for labor only, and other 5 Yelp star contractors quoted me $450-550 out the door.

Yes, as another reviewer stated, they charge $249 to show up at your door, or for the first hour. Then Jared the tech who came out to do the bid (this was free quote that Home Advisor sent), quoted me $1249 to remove 50 gallon water heater, take to nearest Home Depot and warranty swap it for new one, and install it.

But I got bids from other contractors at $450 and $500 and CSR Plumbing 334 5 solid Yelp stars, quoted me $550 out the door price, and they said they could do it tomorrow.

The $450 guy could not schedule me till next week, yes 7 days.

CSR changed my water heater in 2 hours labor, plus another 3rd hour to go to HD and they had to wait 30 min (I was not charged by the hour) there, for the very busy one-and-only HD forklift driver to get the water heater I wanted off a top shelf.

Make sure you do your shopping, cos you could save more than half. Hey I saved $700 on my water heater swap by using another plumber with solid 5 star ratings, over Plumbing Plus. If you didn't have a warranty swap, the $700 you save would buy you a pretty decent water heater.

I am giving 2 stars and not one, because Jared was professional and polite, but I sure was shocked at his gouging price, which I rate 1 star. I told him not to waste his time talking to me anymore, they came for free estimate through Yelp or Home Advisor quotes, otherwise they are not free to come to your house for a quote, charges $249, said Jared.

We had a blowout in my kitchen faucet hose and called Plumbing Plus to replace the kitchen faucet. They were able to send out Kyle the same day. Yeah!

Kyle was professional in replacing the kitchen faucet and recommended replacing the water flow valve since the water pressure was too high and the valve was quite old. Although the total bill was more than expected, the repairs were needed. The entire job was done the same afternoon.

This week my toilet was having problems, Martin Ruiz was sent out; he was careful, and respectful knew his stuff and fixed the problem. He did not try to sell me products I did not need as other companies often do. What a relief!

Very pleased with the gas line repair - Everyone involved in the project was professional, honest, hardworking and understanding. There was great communication with all the workers and the office throughout the entire project. My elderly neighbor had a deteriorating, leaking gas line at the pipe rising out of the ground leading into her house. We are in Encinitas and I contacted a few local plumbers with gas line experience to get their assessment of the situation and what it would take to repair it. But when I called Plumbing Plus, the experience and sensibility pouring through the phone line made the decision easy. On site they did an outstanding job of diagnosing, repairing, and securing a permit from the city inspector for the repair so she could get the gas turned on again. The workers helped excavate around the riser to the point where it met the main line and then verified that everything beyond that was intact and able to hold pressure. That way they only had to replace the rotting riser near her condo. Other companies said they'd have to dig up the entire 50 ft line over to the SDGE junction for her unit. They didn't even want to bother to try to do only what was needed. These other companies quoted thousands over what Plumbing Plus charged. It's really important for a company and the workers to be able to think on their feet and assess each situation rather than apply the 'same solution for all' approach when it's not warranted. They even included a senior discount for my neighbor. Highest recommendation!

Very unprofessional and unprepared worker showed up to our house just to do a routine cleaning of our hot water tanks. During the appointment time frame, he was simply sitting outside in his service truck for half an hour clearly trying to put off the appointment for as long as possible. Upon coming into our home and informing him that our two tankless water heaters were located in the attic, the worker seemed very unhappy with this and claimed he only had a six foot ladder and was not able to go into the attic, but when I offered him my ten foot ladder he refused to use it, and then also stated that this would be a two person job and would need to reschedule. However, we've had this kind of service done before and only one man performed it! The worker simply just did not want to take on the job and had a very lazy disposition. I would not use this company or recommend their services to anyone.

I was quite satisfied with Plumbing Plus work and customer service. I needed to install a new high-efficiency water heater for a rental property I own undergoing an Energy Upgrade California project, and was admittedly a very difficult customer.

The owner, Mike, personally came out to meet me the morning after I called him, and over the next couple months I had literally a dozen phone conversations with him and exchanged numerous emails as I changed the project scope, explored different water heater models, and changed my timeline. Mike continued to be patient, responsive, give his honest advice, and seemed to keep my best interest as his top priority, and I never sensed a bit of frustration on his part for all the time he spent holding my hand scoping out what was a relatively small job in the end ($3600 bucks).

Mike worked with me on pricing to make it fit within my budget, and made an extra trip to crawl under my house at my request to make sure there were going to be no surprises before I signed. When I asked another contractor to bid for the work, they declined, telling me they would not be able to beat the estimate I had in hand from Plumbing Plus.

After a slew of bad to horrible experiences with other contractors during my project, It was very refreshing to use a contractor that was so helpful, did what they promised, stuck to the timeline, and budget.

I love Plumbing Plus! I was referred by a friend when I needed help with a leaky toilet. The owner came out and was honest and upfront with repairs vs. a new toilet. I don't know about reviewers, but I think the Customer Service is outstanding. I opted for a new toilet and when it was installed, the tank was a little crooked (which might have gone unnoticed had there not been a window directly above.) I called and the plumber came back out quickly and tried to correct. It was still a little crooked so the owner came back out (quickly, I might add) and was able to successfully level it out. But he also took the time to explain (NOT making excuses, but educating me) on why this could have occurred - 2nd story, house shifting, tile floor, etc. So, I appreciated that he took the time. I took advantage of him being there and asked about other issues - like a leaky kitchen faucet that his company did NOT install. He suggested I contact the manufacturer and even offered to talk to them for me if they give me the runaround. I mentioned that I would like to someday remodel my master bath but have size restrictions, etc. The owner (Mike) gave me a great suggestion on the bath/shower issue and even showed me pictures of a recent job they'd done.

Are they more expensive? Yes, I'd say they are a little more expensive than other companies, but I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. And, when it comes to plumbing, I'm not going to nickel and dime someone where water in involved.

They are worth the price in my book and I will definitely use them again!

I am so happy that I went with this company!!! After a brief Yelp research, I decided to choose Plumbing Plus and I am so glad I did. The service rep Jared Nicholson was on time, friendly, and knowledgable. But the story gets better! We all thought this would be a simple water line valve replacement for a new fridge. But when he discovered the line was dead with no water main, he could have packed up and went on his way. Instead, he went up into to attic and down into the garage to look for alternatives. When that didn't get results, he DIDN'T GIVE UP and decided to run a new line from the kitchen sink around the ENTIRE perimeter of the kitchen to get to the fridge. At this point, I'm almost in tears thinking about the cost. He says, let me talk to my manager, we just want our customers happy. After a quick phone convo, he comes back with good news! He can do the whole NEW project at the same cost as the original project, including the extra materials and labor. It took two hours longer than expected, and literally crawling into cabinets to drill holes. But in the end, I have a functioning water line to the fridge. Don't be shocked by the slightly higher prices they will quote you. They might be a bit pricier than the competition, but they are worth every penny. Plumbing Plus has me as a customer FOR LIFE.

This company is awesome! Our condo complex has a 100 gallon hot water heater that went out and was leaking all over the utility room. After calling around to a few companies who said they weren't sure if they could do the job, quoted us outrageous prices, or just didn't call us back, Plumbing Plus absolutely saved the day. They had very fair pricing and said they could get it done that day. The plumber who came out, Gilbert, was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He explained what he was going to do and got the job done! We are extremely happy with the service we received and will be using Plumbing Plus again!

Here is another review for a high end shower they installed.

I bought a new house last year and while we LOVE the house, we didn't really like the Moen shower head fixture in the Master bathroom. It was a normal shower head and the water pressure wasn't anything to write home about.

In high end hotels that we've stayed at, we've always enjoyed the Hans Grohe rainfall shower from above with the secondary shower head in case you wanted to use a hand shower. A very quality product that we've always had strong water pressure with.

I called around to a few of the AngiesList providers that were highly rated and one of the bathroom renovation places said their sister company Plumbing Plus normally handled this type of fixture. I came on the website and read the great reviews so I called them.

They arranged to come out the following day and I was pleasantly surprised to get the owner, Mike out himself. He took some measurements and he said he would call back the same day with a quote. Sure enough, that same day he called and emailed me a quote.

I showed him a photo of the model that I wanted and he had to special order it. He gave a 10% Angie's List discount which I appreciated.

The work was a bigger job than I realized. It consisted of not only removing the old shower head but also they had to cut out part of the wall in our Master bedroom that was on the opposite side of the shower. We not only wanted to change out the fixture but I also wanted to be able to use both the hand wand shower piece and the rainfall shower together if I wanted and I had to order another part for that.

The total price included the parts, labor and also they sent someone else out the same day of the installation to do the drywall repair with texture. The only thing that wasn't included was repainting the wall but I easily did that.

Randy that came out to do the installation was VERY friendly and knowledgable. He mentioned he has been with the company for 16 years. That was a good feeling. He also kept me in the loop the entire process. He was very careful and although the job was a bigger mess than I realized as they had to cut part of the marble in the shower which produced a fine mist of dust.

Randy was very polite and although we told him he didn't need to clean up and we could have our maid clean it. He insisted on at least cleaning up which we felt was great.

The only minor glitch is that the hole where the old shower head was, Mike told us that the new Hans Grohe rainfall shower head would be in front of it but it was a different configuration than he planned. So we had a very small hole in the marble.

Randy offered several options including installing a new piece of marble (we had extra marble tiles from when it was renovated before), or just installing a small round chrome piece in the marble that was flush. It's hardly noticeably and we don't mind at all. We know the company wasn't at fault so it wasn't a big deal.

Randy came out today and installed the cover. It looks great.

Most people won't spend this kind of money on a shower head but we felt it was worth it on something you use every single day (actually we use it twice a day). It was well worth it. We've had a chance to use it a week now and we really love it. Randy did a great job installing it. He mentioned when he was installing it that he never installed this particular model before but he did a great job!

Definitely I'd highly recommend this company and in fact, I had Randy take some measurements for some bathroom counters as I'm interested in changing out the tiles for Carrera Marble counters and changing out and upgrading the Moen fixtures that were here when we bought it.

I love this business. I've used them 5 or 6 times now and have always had a good experience. They fixed my stopped up kitchen sink a couple of times and then installed a new garbage disposal when I'd had enough of the old one. I've had them replace our hot water heater when it started leaking. They fixed a couple of issues with my toilets also. Isaiah came today and quickly diagnosed the problem with our downstairs toilet. I'll be having him back to replace it after fixing a root issue. The plumbers are always prompt and personable, thoroughly explaining the job requirements. I've never had them run up the cost beyond the estimate. I plan on using them again and will happily recommend them to everyone.

Sucks to have stuff break in your home but old age does that to plumbing (and to people too right). I found Plumbing Plus through 800-Appliance (as they don't do plumbing work FYI). I called PP and a nice woman, Kelly, picked up the phone.

I explained the pipes in the house would grumble/moan when you flush toilets, turned on tub, etc. I thought maybe it was due to cold temps lately. But we knew it was probably the water pressure regulator. She said to change it out would be $350-370 or so. The estimate is free so that's a plus right there as I feel most plumbing companies charge a fee just to come out.
She sent Isiah a few days later who came within the two hour time frame.

Isiah was great. He was knowledgeable, patient (because this typer right here asks ALOT of questions), and funny. He let me watch him change the regulator and it was fascinating. He did the swap out with ease and care. He tested it afterwards and also tested the water heater (the pressure originally was 110 and it went down to 65 with the new regulator).

I also appreciated Isiah as he gave me a few tips with my bathroom sinks. He even helped me extract some of the gross gunk in the drain.

Don't forget the $25 coupon on their website. That came in handy today.

I would recommend this company, especially Isiah. We have a few other plumbing issues but will wait on fixing them (gotta save money for Xmas gifts this season). But we now know who to call once it's time to upgrade or switch out certain faucets/etc.

I had calcification on my pipes and valves which was found during installation of a washing machine. Plumbing plus sent Jared Nicholson out for repairs and replacement of the valves and pipes. This was done in probability less than 1/2 and hour. Everything is running smoothly and the communication with the company went well. Highly recommend!

I used Plumbing Plus for three jobs, two at my home and one at my rental. They were always very courteous and respectful. Before, during, and after the jobs they were sure to stay in touch on the jobs and ensure that I was satisfied. They were on time in the windows they had given. And in the case of my rental, they coordinated with my renter to get access and fix the leaky kitchen sink, which involved them buying a new faucet and returning to install it. At my home, they replaced my pressure regulator which is what was causing my hose bib to leak. And they dug up and repaired a leaky main line on my irrigation system which developed a pin hole in one of the joints and they showed me exactly where prior to removal. They took pictures and shared them along with the invoicing for my records. I had awesome experiences with Plumbing Plus and would recommend you consider them for your own plumbing needs.

I had a guy come out and quote me $350 to replace a leaky coupling on a pipe. It was under the house and a little awkward but I have done this enough to know the scope. of the work. I figured it was about a $200 job, including everything. He did drop it to $300. Now I read in Yelp the following This would constitute a charge of $159.00 which includes our first labor hour, travel time, service call and TOS (Truck Operation Service Fee). Whoa! this is very different from what I was told. Looks like I paid about $125 more than it should have been if this quote is accurate. Guess I am still looking for a reasonably priced plumber!

They do really good work, very thorough. They are eye-wateringly expensive though. I was quoted $650 dollars to install a pressure regulator the cost of which was $190. They also have a $160 MINIMUM service charge. So if they come out, and you don't sign up for the work they recommend, you're charged $160 dollars. Two hour minimum charge?

Scott came and cleared out my blocked drain. With his video snake he also diagnosed a partially disconnected joint under my driveway that was causing a restriction to the flow.
Scott came back with Jarod. They quickly and very nicely replaced the poorly done original construction joint. They cut a neat hole in the the driveway, dug down, replaced the bad part with a smooth flowing elbow. They finished it off with a very nice looking patch.

I just had a great experience with Plumbing Plus. I am especially thankful to Isaiah, who was the plumber for my tasks. Not only did he fix everything, he also taught me a lot in the process and in a way that was easy to follow and will help me make future decisions.

This is a professional outfit from top to bottom. I contacted them after hours on a Monday (their website has live chat) and got a call Tuesday morning. Isaiah was onsite Wednesday. Everything was done in a thorough, competent and professional manner. The invoice comes with pictures and notes. Plumbing Plus was professional and the plumber was very knowledgeable. He fixed my leaking pipe easily and on the same day that I called. They were flexible in their visit time. The phone receptionist quickly scheduled our service. Luckily I was without hot water for only half a day thanks to Plumbing Plus. They even gave a teacher discount. I was quoted for a new water heater, however my husband thinks the quote was high so I'll look around before we use them for a new water heater install. Although I would totally trust the plumbers that we had to do the work. I would use them again even with the expense.

So far so good. We had a tankless water heater installed Yesterday.
We were impressed by Jordan's depth of knowledge, his efficiency and professional demeanor. My husband was our only household handyman for the majority of our married life so has an above average knowledge and understanding of virtually all home projects. So after a little research he was ready with critical questions for Jordan. No double talk, no fluff just straight forward technical answers. Recently got a new fridge and when hooking up the water line discovered that the valve was old and needed to be replaced. Called Plumbing Plus and they were able to send someone out the next day. All good.

Service was very friendly and my tech, Darryl, was able to diagnose the problem quickly and worked to resolve it very professionally and efficiently. Very professional and knowledgeable. I was very happy with how he worked and performed.

The only issue I would have with Plumbing Plus is that I find their prices to be a bit on the expensive side. They charge a dispatch fee which is waived if you use their service for the repair but from the jump to get a quote they are already charging you. I understand this prevents them from making unnecessary runs but to also charge high prices for jobs on top of that seems excessive. If I wasn't already being charged a dispatch fee and had just seen the quote I probably wouldn't have used their service at the price they wanted. And even accounting for the fee, I probably still would have been able to get the job done for a better price had I been more patient.

Overall happy with the service and the speed but be aware that you are going to be paying for it

I almost fainted when I got our $637 water bill! I had seen some suspicious puddling, but didn't do anything until I got the bill. I called Plumbing Plus at 10:30am. Corie Proctor arrived one hour later, capped off the pipe with the leak and installed a new hose bib. Very nice guy. His bill was half the amount of the water bill and we were all fixed up by 1pm.

5 Stars for workmanship, 1 star for price, so average of 3 stars. I have used Plumbing Plus several times, going back more than 10 years to when they were affiliated with Remodel Works. On the last occasion, the angle stop on the water line to my new fridge needed to be replaced though it wasn't leaking so it wasn't an emergency. Over $700 for one angle stop sweated onto the pipe in much less than an hour on a weekday as a non-emergency.

I called the office to complain about the price (which my wife agreed to when she was multi-tasking on teleconferences and I was in the office with customers) and was told that PP doesn't charge by the hour. After a couple of calls with them, I really don't know how they come up with prices for repairs and the explanation I got was opaque (to be polite about it). I was offered a $100 discount (via voice mail) and have not heard anything in 3-4 weeks. I've not had a call back as I had requested when I replied to the voice mail. The workmanship is good but the prices are just hard to accept.

The president sent us an email (from an no-reply) account asking how things were and to contact him if we had any questions or concerns. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to contact him on his no-reply email when phone calls and emails to customer service have gone nowhere.

I'm going to avoid Plumbing Plus in future because the pricing seems excessive.

I guess I can't really comment on how good they are because THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! I had a time frame of between 1-5. One of their trucks was actually at my neighbors, so I figured when they were done with that job, they'd get to me. At around 4:00 I called them to get an ETA. I was told a technician in the area was just finishing up and would be at my place soon. I decided to go out to my neighbors to see when they thought they'd be to my home and they were gone! I then got a text at 4:11 saying my technician was in route and would be at my home soon. At 4:55, I called again to get someone before they left for the day and was told he would be here soon. 5:18 -- another call and an hour after I got the text -- but now I'm only getting a phone service -- being told they will get a hold of the technician and someone would be calling me back. Nothing. Another call at 5:31 -- same thing -- and no one calls back. 5:40 -- now REALLY mad -- same thing. I finally get a call around 5:45 from a guy saying he was on his way. When I asked where he was coming from, he said South Bay -- I live in Rancho Bernardo -- and he wouldn't be to my house until 6:30. REALLY??? Why would the office leave for the day without checking to make sure all of their appointments had been taken care of? If you're someone that needs to take the day off from work to wait for a worker, then DO NOT call this company! And no one from the company has called me today to apologize or offer to reschedule and a discount for missing the appointment. Such horrible customer service and I hope that my review will just cause even one person to reconsider using this company.

I've had my Noritz tankless water heater for a little over 5 years and have had problem after problem with it. The latest issue arose this morning when I noticed water leaking from the bottom of the unit. I ended up calling Plumbing Plus and was able to schedule a technician to come out to my house in the afternoon (they could've come in the morning but I drove up to OC to pick up a replacement part.

Jared Nicholson was the tech that arrived. I was at home waiting but I could've been out and about and still been fine because they send you a text when the tech is about 30 minutes out. Jared replaced the faulty part, explained what was wrong and waited until I confirmed that hot water was flowing before wrapping up. It was also nice chatting with him while he put his tools away and the cover back on the front of the heater.

I would highly recommend these guys and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future

Please be very careful when using this company. We had a leak under our sink caused by a hot water tank for hot drinking water that they installed several years ago.
When called to fix the leak, Plumbing Plus referred us to a water removal and remediation firm named Dry Force of Los Angeles. They just dried the wet areas but then said they needed to call in another firm to pull out the wet drywall and cabinets. This firm was called Cleanup Fire and Water. Cleanup proceeded to bill us at least TWICE the amount of a normal job. Our insurance company agreed to pay them half but they called us every day and threatened to put a lien against our house. After a lot of hassle I got Cleanup Fire and Water to accept the insurance payment. I believe that this was a bait and switch wherein Dry Force and Cleanup are owned by the same firm and scamming homeowners in San Diego by thinking that their insurance will cover all of this, when it won't. Several homeowners have been intimidated into paying extra money out of their pocket.

Now here's the rub - this whole scam was referred to us by Plumbing Plus. Why?? We can't prove it, but we would think that Plumbing Plus is on the take for referring Dry Force and Cleanup to us. It smells and please be advised about using any of these firms. It cost me lots of hours of hassle, negotiation and stress. I got off lucky because I know of others who have been ripped off and actually paid the outrageous charges and are now suing Cleanup.

Matt did a GREAT job for us. He was the utmost professional, and knew his stuff. When we ran our dishwasher, we had gushing water under the sink. Matt know exactly what the problem was and did an excellent fix. We subsequently decided to have our kitchen sink refinished. Matt came out today to remove the existing hardware, and after sink refinishing, a new faucet and garbage disposal will be installed. My dishwasher had been leaking and I didn't realize it until my floors were warping. I called Plumbing Plus and they were on the road within 10 minutes of my call. Michael was responsive, thorough, and went through every possible reason for the leak. Thankfully it was my dishwasher and not a plumbing issue! He disconnected everything for me and had hot water back to my kitchen sink so I could do dishes until I replace my dishwasher!

I'd had them install a Moen kitchen faucet in about 2004 or 2005. In April of 2009 I couldn't select between hot and cold water, it has a single handle that you'd move to the left or right. They came out once and made an adjustment, twice, and the third time they told me I think you got a lemon. This is a Moen faucet. I bought a new Moen from them. I was angry and was certain I'd been ripped off.

Recently the new Moen faucet has been leaking, so I finally called Moen and related what they'd told me. Even the receptionist @ Plumbing Plus suggested that I needed a new cartridge -- and when I told the rep from Moen that the guy from Plumbing Plus has said I got a lemon she just laughed.

So I finally called Plumbing Plus back and I'm waiting for a call from their manager. My feeling @ this point is that I was ripped off. They could have replaced the cartridge rather than insisting that I needed a new kitchen faucet. This is the worst plumbing experience around -- I cannot tolerate being lied to.

Look elsewhere for plumbing service. I doubt that Yelp would let me write what I'm thinking. I have more plumbing work I need done, but I can't see using Plumbing Plus again for anything if they cannot be trusted. How many other people have they ripped off? A Moen faucet is built for life as they say -- not some American Standard piece of crud that breaks and cannot be fixed. I'm livid. I'm so angry I could spit.

Anyone want to buy my old Moen kitchen faucet @ a discount? Apparently all it really needed was a new cartridge which Moen will be happy to send me, apparently. I cannot believe that I went along with what now seems like an obvious rip off.

Overpriced for the service. We were quoted material $145, Helper labor $709, and Plumber labor $1295 Total job $2149 for one cold water access valve about 10 ft distance. We expected the job to take all day and be quite extensive however time is not of the essence after biding the job at 8am and calling to get estimates then off to get lunch. These guys started at 12pm and finished about 4pm. Their fees are excessive you'll pay $500/hour for 4 hours of work. We called to inquire if the invoice could be broken down with hourly costs and supply costs so the Service Manager Randy Porter could review the invoice. They said that they could not. Crazy for such a long established business to not be able to provide a customer with the reasoning for why their fees are exorbitant.

I have to say I am one of those people that bemoans the lack of quality and service in today's society. So I have to say, if you are in search of a plumbing company in San Diego and do not call Plumbing Plus, you should have your head examined. We just moved back into an investment property to make it our permanent home. The Moen faucet in the kitchen was loose and I just don't do plumbing. So we called Plumbing Plus. While at first I was a little taken aback by the $159 minimum charge, between the sink and a problem with the garbage disposal, I went ahead and booked the appointment. Glad I did. They were out the next day and showed up in the window I wanted -- 8 am to 10 am. Scott came in (make sure you ask for Scott), took one look at the faucet and the replacement we had purchased and immediately recommended that we call Moen and get a free replacement since they are guaranteed for a lifetime. When we said we did not have the packaging or original receipt he explained it would be no problem. Now strap yourself in here comes the great part. When Moen refused Scott called on our behalf and got us a free replacement faucet (valued at $500), Since we wanted expedited shipping to make sure we had it ready for Thanksgiving, he told me what number to call to give my credit card to make that happen -- AND THEN CALLED ME BACK TO MAKE SURE MY CALL WITH MOEN WENT SMOOTHLY. Scott charged nothing for the initial visit since estimates and advice are free and is making arrangements to be back on Friday morning at the time we asked to the faucet and new garbage disposal installed before the weekend the holidays. If this story does not move you to use Plumbing Plus, then I wish you good luck with whomever you call!

Thank you for refunding our entire bill and the nice handwritten note. We were not aware of the emergency situation that kept your plumbers late. I was only told that it was a crazy day by your office scheduler when I called.

I do understand that emergencies, but we were not specifically told why the plumbers were going to be late or given the opportunity to reschedule the appointment - and to me that indicating lack of customer care.

You went out of your way to make this right, and we appreciate it. Looking forward to working with you in our next project.

I had a clogged sink so I called Plumbing Plus. They came and fixed it. It was really in the drain plug and I couldn't figure out how to get that out of the sink, so Isaiah (the plumber) was courteous enough to show me how (I had to unscrew it from underneath the sink and you had to feel your way as you can't see it). He went the extra step and checked my water pressure and was very courteous. The only complaint I have is the price for such an easy fix. He did not have to take apart any pipes at all as it was just goop in the drain plug. They told me on the phone that basic service was $99-$159 depending on what was needed. Seeing that he did not have to clean out the cupboard underneath the sink nor take any pipes apart, I was disappointed that it was $159 for such a simple task. And I'm local too so it wasn't like they had to make up for commuter miles. They should have really charged me the $99. If he had to do more work and if the clog was actually in the pipes and he had to take pipes apart, clean them out, and put them together again and do stuff like that, then I can see the higher price. So I admit I was disappointed by that. But he was courteous and I liked that as well.

It pays to pay attention to your neighbor's driveway!
This morning we realized the gas pipe in our fireplace was broken in half. Just when we were looking forward to nice fires during this wild, winter weather. Our regular plumber was overbooked and didn't think he'd make it here before Christmas. I noticed the plumbing truck across the street and asked my neighbor to have the plumber stop by on his way out. Isaiah Maher was quick to diagnose the problem. We called the Plumbing Plus office to find that he had a cancellation for this afternoon and within a short time Isaiah had the necessary parts and completed the job. Of course things happen in inoppurtune times, like finding a leaking/corroded valve in the middle of the night..... Plumbing plus was able to squeeze me in early the next day and sent out Lamonte first thing in the morning. He was able to remove and change out the valves quickly as well as answer other questions I had. I definitely will be using them again for other work that is needed around the house.

Plumbing Plus did OUTSTANDING WORK on replacing my six bathroom sink faucets, six bathroom sink drains, three shower heads, three shower control valves, two shower/tub fill necks, and two shower/tub drains. A special shout-out to Lamonte and Matt for their professionalism (wore booties over their work boots and masks throughout the entire job!) and for working with me to finish the job just as I wanted it. Out of all the above work, only ONE bathroom sink drain had a small leak. It was a simple phone call and within less than 48-hours, Lamonte returned to fix it at no charge! They far exceeded my expectations and treated me with respect, dignity, and courtesy. Highly unusual given their high-priced mafia competition Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning that I am used to extorting me out of my hard-earned money. This company scheduled a visit by a plumber to come service a toilet at my home. He was on time, courteous, took very little time getting the part he didn't happen to have. Made no mess, and cleaned up after himself.

Their phone scheduler, Bonita, was extremely courteous as well, scheduling the appointment for the first thing the next morning. When we got disconnected she immediately called back to continue the set up.

I was sent an email containing a photo of the plumber who came out to ensure the right person was easily identified. Great guy!

When I called Plumbing Plus and explained my non-emergency problem, I was quickly given an appointment window later that day. When Larry showed up he quickly sized up the problem and made the simple fix. Voila! The sink was draining dryly again. I also showed him a long-standing problem that has seemed to baffle the original builder of the house and he made a suggestion that I will follow up on to see if the part can be obtained (a German manufacturer not in ready supply) to make the fix. Two technicians came out to fix a leak in a toilet tank which allowed water to keep flowing into the tank. When they arrived they diagnosed the issue. After doing this they went back to their truck for about 15 minutes sitting in the cab. They came back and gave me a print out of several options ranging from a couple hundred dollars to replacing the entire toilet! I told them I wanted the cheapest option. After fixing the leak in the toilet tank one of the technicians asked to check the water pressure in the hot water tank. They did and said the water heater should be replaced and asked if I wanted that done. I declined.

The following day, I noticed when using the upstairs shower, a high pitched squeal which would last until I turned off the faucet. In fact, we hear this squeal when my son takes a shower in a different bathroom. There's no way this could automagically happen right after a service call for something totally different, unless one of the repair people tweaked something to cause this. I will never use them again.

This is my second review of this business. I had an emergency problem on 2 appliances that needed to be installed. I called this business (which is always busy) @ 8:00am and explained my dilemma. They said they are booked up for the day, however they would have someone over to my house by 1:00pm, and they did. Randy came out (now the supervising installer) and did the job personally. It was a relief to see him, and he straightened everything out in a couple of hours.

I have been doing business with this company now for over 30 years, and it is like dealing with old friends, not a business, for them to go out of their way like that for me, and fit me in an already booked schedule says volumes about this business.

If you are looking for an honest, reputable company with integrity this is the place to go for all your plumbing problems.

I called Plumbing Plus to come to my house to take a look at my hot water heater. An old man showed up with a bad attitude. He had a hard time bending down to check the water heater, I asked him if he needed help getting up. He seemed like he did not want to go out of his way to fix the water heater and tried to talk me into buying a new one. I told him the hot water heater is only 6 years old. I felt like I was at a used car lot getting worked! I told him no thanks and have a nice day. Long store short I got the hot water heater fixed with someone else for $65.00 and working great.

I called four different plumbers before Plumbing Plus. They were the fastest in terms of response time. They gave me a quick ETA tight 2 hour window which was accurate. I was texted my plumbers name and photo as he was en route.

My plumber was Isaiah Maher and he was kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. The job concerned a pressurized exposed main line. The prior owners did amateur maze like drip system plumbing with PVC off this main line without purple primer and unnecessary hardware, and no way to isolate a leak from the main.

Isaiah listened carefully to my wants and I never had to repeat myself. He replaced existing galvanized steel pipe with copper, and installed an extra ball valve. His overall design was clean, efficient, and simple. He didn't mind my hovering nearby as I was genuinely interested in learning. Isaiah is a mentor to plumbing apprentices.

Another great experience with Plumbing Plus.

They installed a water heater for us 7 years ago and when it became necessary to add a gas line to the laundry room, they were who we turned to.

Within hours of our call David Berber was at our door to estimate the job.

The next day he returned and got to work. Another technician, Nate Lopez, was finished with another job and came to help.

The job was completed in a very workmanlike fashion. We are most pleased.

Extra credit was earned by the company's customer communications. They send a text and email to let you know the tech is on the way. You can even follow his progress to your home by tapping the imbedded link.

Phone communication with the office was always courteous and satisfactory.

The company has imbued in their employees a commitment to customer service. That's what sets them apart.

We'll continue to use Plumbing Plus.

We had Darryl come to look at two problems: a broken water line outside that was doing a good imitation of a Geyser, and our tub /shower combo. The stain on the ceiling in the hallway below the bathroom made it clear that we had a leak somewhere, and the previous plumber sent out by our home warranty people had tried to blame it on a - nonexistent- crack in the tub itself. After doing a quick and efficient repair on the outside pipe, Darryl investigated the tub problem more thoroughly and discovered the true cause related to the diverter. Darryl was super professional and explained everything with both issues, and it was a relief to have a friendly plumber who actually knows what he's doing. AND, Plumbing Plus was fantastic and had Darryl come the same day we called, right after a holiday. We will definitely use PP again and will request Darryl!

I called Plumbing Plus to find a mystery leak in my house. The Plumbing Plus Technicians were prompt. professional and tenacious. They stayed with the problem until they located the leak and corrected it. They succeeded where a professional leak detection company failed. This is the 2nd time I've called Plumbing Plus. The first time was to repair a leaky gas line coming into my home. I called on a Saturday and they responded within an hour---and the owner came out to help and was out there digging in the mud himself to help fix the problem. Plumbing Plus is awesome! We highly recommend them. David came out to fix a stripped faucet assembly in our master bath. It proved to be a little more complicated and required several trips to get it done because several parts had to be ordered, but he persevered and my master bath is good to go. They gave an estimate and kept to it even though there were repeated trips and additional parts that had to be ordered. Plumbing Plus will be our plumber going forward. Company promised 30 text before tech showed up. Got the text after he was here and I was talking to him. Tech was nice and did put on booties to protect the floor.

The job was to install a faucet that I had purchased in my bathroom sink. The area under the sink was all cleaned out and ready. The tech looked at it and gave me 2 prices. As I remember it was $450 for the faucet install, but he suggested replacing the valves in the wall and that was an additional $400.

I found another person who did the install without replacing the valves for $145.

I'd like to acknowledge the outstanding customer service recently provided by Plumbing Plus. Just under five years ago I hired them to replace a faulty water distribution manifold located in my master bathroom ceiling. It recently began to leak at one of the connection points and caused quite a bit of water damage to the ceiling and walls. To their credit and even though it was well outside of warranty, the owner, Michael, without any prompting immediately sent a crew to fix the leak, then sent contractors from a water damage company, and a drywall contractor to repair the damage. Michael personally called me, and the contractors he used were extremely professional. Even though I hoped they would take care of it even out of warranty, I'm very glad that Michael didn't think twice about it and put customer service above the contract...the type that will keep me coming back. Excellent service!
We scheduled Plumbing Plus to replace the hot and cold cartridge's in a sink faucet and a tub pop-up drain and overflow gasket. Jared N. quickly assessed the problems. The faucet was so corroded with water deposits that it could not be dismantled to simply replace the hot and cold cartridge's. So Jared replaced the entire faucet with a high quality replacement.
After the tub pop-up drain was replaced, Jared checked for leaks by looking in a 'trap door' in the ceiling below the tub that was left after the tub was replaced in an earlier remodel. Jared discovered that the entire tub drain was leaking and need to be replaced, which he did. He also corrected a problem with the drain pipe left from the previous remodel.
Although the job was much more complex than expected, Jared was professional, efficient, and extremely cheerful throughout . We highly recommend Jared and Plumbing Plus

We had an old recirculating pump on our hot water heater that was beginning to make all sorts of noise. We called Plumbing Plus to fix the problem and to check our hot water heater. Jared and his helper arrived on time and wearing masks! A plus from the get-go! We had them replace the old recirculation pump, put in a hose bib to purge the system, put in a new check valve, change out the old anode rod with a new one in the hot water heater, and flush the water heater. They also changed the house water filter, which we supplied. They were very efficient, explained what they were doing, and very helpful. We were even given a $35 discount on the plumbing services in celebration of Plumbing Plus' 35 year anniversary. We have been very pleased with their service.

Very corporate feel.

The service tech was nice and did me a solid while he was there so no complaints about that at all. Mostly have issues with the price. They refuse to give a price over the phone. Nothing is hourly and only by the job. They go there with a $49 diagnostic fee and quote you super high once on-site. By that point, you either agree or start the whole process over and are out $49. I paid $550 to replace the shower valves in a 1971 tract house. I knew it was too much but I was busy at work and didn't have time to deal with it. I don't regret the decision to approve the quote but regret calling them in the first place.

Call an independent plumber and avoid the scam.

I recently discovered a slab leak and this was beyond my DIY level. Called a few companies and Plumbing Plus was the only one that could send some out right away. They had to call in a leak detection company on day one to diagnose where the problem was. Jared N. showed up promptly the next morning to run me through my options. We agreed to the work and price and he got started on the job. He called in Brandon to assist who showed up shortly after. Both guys were super courteous and professional and were diligent following COVID safety guidelines including wearing booties to avoid tracking dirt into the house. They throughly tested the system and asked me to verify all fixtures were working properly. They found one minor leak which they quickly addressed. They made sure the repairs were 100% and that I was satisfied with the work before they left. They did a good job cleaning up and sealing the drywall holes in the garage with plastic before they left. Really appreciate the speedy and professional service!

My feelings about the company have not changed, but I find this situation interesting. Yelp claims that advertisers cannot pay to change their reviews; Yelp wants the reviewers to feel safe knowing our reviews cannot be changed. So what happened this time? The owner responded to my less-than-favorable review with a number of excuses for the high cost -- having phones answered 24/7, $2 million in insurance coverage, etc. But I responded logically pointing out that my little guy plumber has been in business more than 15 years but doesn't have the large advertising overhead, exorbitant insurance premiums, or cost of paying someone to answer the phones 24/7, and that the owners business decisions were driving those high costs. I also pointed out that I found my plumber through personal referrals at my job ad even referred my plumber to my neighbor who now uses the same company. The owner's response to my original review has disappeared completely, along with my reply to his original response. Who do you feel that Yelp is behind in this situation, the owner paying the advertising or the reviewer with a bad review?

Yesterday my new water heater installed by Plumbing Plus stop generating hot water. I called PP and they responded quickly. The Plumber (David Berber) arrived on time. He examined my water heater and detected the problem immediately. He explained the issues affecting the hot water and fixed the problem with delay. Man, this guy was professional and knowledgeable. He listened to our concerns and made good suggestions future maintenance.

I sent a message to Plumbing Plus on Monday morning inquiring about our clogged kitchen sink and requesting for an estimate. I received a quick response by the owner. My husband called to set an appointment at 8:40 am that morning and they stated they'll be there between 9-11.

At 8:53 Scott Fantauzzo from Plumbing Plus was knocking on our door. Scott walked in with a great big smile on his face and you can just tell he's a veteran at what he does and loves it too. We showed him the problem and he wasted no time and started working.

Scott asked where the exterior drain pipe was to the kitchen sink and we showed him. He found the exterior drainage pipe cap corroded and jammed so he had to drill a hole through the cap to drain the water out. There after he used an electric saw to cut off the cap and ultimately replaced it was a plastic cap. (So in the event this happens again in the future, it'll be much easier to open the drain pipe with the plastic cap.) It took Scott 30 minutes to just work on the cap but he did it with all smiles and it was super HOT that day too. He snaked our kitchen sink through the exterior drain pipe and fixed the problem.

When it was time to pay - I anticipated to pay a good amount for the service call. I was charged a very reasonable amount and I was actually surprised and relieved at the same time. Scott gave me his business card and I told him that I will definitely be asking for him again if we need a plumber.

Scott also mentioned that he just started working for Plumbing Plus 6 months ago and loves working for his employer. He could not say enough good things about the owner and the company. I strongly believe a company/owner is a reflection of their employees and it definitely shows through Scott. I guarantee that all their employees are top notch like Scott.

Being a homeowner has its ups and downs and I will say that we stressed about getting our sink repaired. Truthfully, Plumbing Plus made our experience extremely stress free and I know this may sound silly, but it was a great overall experience.

Thanks to the Yelp reviews - this is why I picked them to repair our sink. And I will say we were so happy to use them! EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!! Thank you Scott Fantauzzo - you made our whole experience stress free and wonderful.

I must say, this company redeemed itself.
I awoke one AM to a puddle of rusty water in my garage, coming from the water heater.

It was installed 6.5 years ago. (Interesting that the warranty is good for 6 years).
Plumbing Plus came out the same day, within hours, and installed a new one and told me how to get more life out of the water heater.
They were not the ones who installed the faulty one.

Noticed the spigot in my back yard was leaking badly this morning. Called Plumbing Plus, spoke with a professional, helpful customer service person who told me they could either get someone out right away or this afternoon, my choice. I chose right away. Today Plumbing Plus gained a new lifetime customer. Everything backed up, a mess, another co. snaked and couldn't clear, from a neighbor recommendation I called Plumbing Plus. Mike was so professional and explained everything, put my mind at ease. Darryl and David were incredible, worked so hard zeroing in on the issue. They located the old pipe, fixed it and I will move forward to replace one piece of pipe soon. This company is honest, attentive, very fair price. I feel so lucky to have found them!! Got charged $60 for a dispatch fee to get a quote to run a single 1/2 gas pipe for 12ft in length. That literally took less than 10 mins. Shoot the technician even complemented how clean the area was for the job I am requesting. The quote itself was ridiculous they wanted $959 to run it outside, or for cleaner look $1200 inside the studs. Mind you I couldn't of have made the job easier, I have zero drywall or insulation on the wall for them to rip or manipulate. The main gas-line is literally on the otherside of the same wall!
Reason for 2 stars is because the Technician was nice and very polite. I understand its not his rules. I will never recommend Plumbing Plus to anyone especially for a service dispatch fee of $60 to for a quote. But wait theyll refund you the service fee if you choose them!

I had Plumbing Plus repair a cold water slab leak, which required re-routing a line through the attic from a wall in our bathroom to a wall in our kitchen.

They used a leak detection service (which billed me separately) that found the exact location of the leak and pinpointed the start and end points for the re-route. So far so good.

The quality of the job was fine, and the plumber they sent (Robert) was courteous and competent, but they would only quote the job as a fixed price of $1660, which did not include repairing the drywall. Since our water was shut off and I was already into the job for $180 for the truck roll, I approved the work. In addition to signing the work order, I was also asked to sign a form requiring me to pay them in full once they started work, which appeared to waive some rights that I have as a Consumer in California. I asked the plumber to explain what rights I was waiving, and when he could not, I refused to sign the form.

I was also surprised that rather than using copper pipe (which is used throughout my house), Plumbing Plus wanted to use PEX, which is a high tech plastic pipe. Before I authorized the work, I Googled PEX and found positive reviews from plumbers and house builders. Its also less expensive than copper, and less time consuming to install, both of which worked to Plumbing Plus' advantage in their per job pricing.

Plumbing Plus was on-site at my house for less than 6 hours, which included a trip the plumber took to Escondido to pick up materials that were not in his truck and to have lunch. I was shocked that it took so little time, and the plumber took pity on me and reduced the bill to $1450. If materials were $100 (very conservative for 40 ft of PEX tubing, two PEX fittings, and a few copper pieces), that worked out to $225/hour.

If they and come with the materials they needed, it would have knocked an hour off the job, and the rate would have equated to $270/hour.

In summary, the quality of the work and service was good, but the pricing was crazy high. They pushed me to a plastic pipe system that I probably cannot maintain as a DIY project in the future, and I don't know what to think of the shenanigans asking me to waive my consumer rights. I'll try someone else next time.

Our water heater started leaking at night, so I called Plumbing Plus the next morning. They had Robert out to assess and replace our water heater within hours. Robert was courteous, efficient and knowledgeable.

The company has also gone paperless which leads to some cool features. I got a text when Robert was on his way which included a bio about him and a picture. I was truly impressed. Everything was done via iPad and my invoice was emailed to me.

My grandmother had a leaky water heater so I called up Plumbing Plus to see if they could come out that day to take and look and/or replace, if needed.

They came out within a couple hours of my request. It was reviewed by Michael and he did say that her 20 year old water heater needed to be replaced. Another tech, Matt came out and did an excellent job at installing the new water heater.

At 80 years old and living alone, my grandmother felt comfortable with the team being there and although I was also there, I totally would have trusted this team to take good care of my grandma. Michael and Matt both explained things clearly to both of us and were very knowledgeable.

These guys are great! It's difficult to find an honest company with really good and professional workers and Plumbing Plus is it. I was having two bathrooms remodeled when plumbing issues were found - old house, no surprise. I started calling plumbers, and was almost resigned to go with a $$$$$ repiping rather than the flushing pipes that was originally recommended. I decided to let one more plumber come take a look and enter Xavier of Plumbing Plus. He was on time, and after seeing the pipes and asking the right questions, suggested we flush the pipes. As a 25 year old woman just buying her first condo, having a leak from my bathroom dripping through our neighbors garage ceiling was probably one of the most stressful situations i have been through as a homeowner. After calling multiple companies who serviced my area and being turned down because i needed someone ASAP i finally got to someone who was able to help me. These folks removed and replaced two old toilets.
Excellent all the way. The young man doing the work, Garrett, was delightful, friendly, competent, and punctual. The cleanup was perfect.
The service personnel, including the manager Mike, were extremely helpful leading up to the installation. The price for the models I chose was competitive.

We had a semi-emergent leak issue and I called Plumbing Plus. They were out early the next morning. They expeditiously diagnosed and corrected the problem. This entailed correcting a leak under our kitchen floor requiring drilling through our foundation. The work was basically concluded within 10 hours of their arrival. We have (unfortunately!) needed several visits from Plumbing Plus over the past year. Once was on Christmas Day when our hot water heater broke when we were out of town. They were unbelievably quick to respond, patient, friendly and understanding. The plumber who visited our house was great at his job and was also skilled at explaining everything to me over the phone.

Most recently we needed someone to install a new hot water dispenser. Isaiah did a fantastic job installing it and also gave us several tips on how to avoid future plumbing issues in our home. He was friendly, efficient, and did great work!

A five star plumbing service - staff are professional, competent and punctual.

Scott Fantauzzo deserves special mention for his thoughtful and innovative approach to difficult problems - like dealing with our inaccessible frozen Roman bath valve. Instead of destroying a wall to get to the valve, he made a special tool to access the virtually inaccessible valve and woo hoo, out it came!! His associate Darrell was great too.

I have no hesitation in recommending them, especially for tricky jobs.

We discovered Plumbing Plus because they do plumbing and warranty work for Remodel Works in Poway. We had a hall bathroom remodel completed December 18th and on Christmas Day while using our washing machine located in the garage and sharing a drain line with the new toilet it began gurgling and backed up. The first plumber deployed was Larry who snaked the lines and investigated the problem. Unfortunately,subsequent laundry caused the situation to repeat and he came out again and addressed the plumbing from the drain area around the washing machine. The third time, Robert came out ,yesterday and after filling the sink and flushing the toilet he went out to the front of the house and discovered our main was flooded. He noted the new City installed sewer outlet cover and freshly poured concrete on the sidewalk. He ran a camera down our main and discovered that roots at the point the City tied into our pipes were the culprit. We will be pursuing this with the City. He was exceptionally thorough and did an outstanding job! The issue had absolutely nothing to do with our new remodel. It was totally a coincidence. We also found their dispatch personnel was excellent. Very responsive and quick!! Overall, we are totally satisfied with Plumbing Plus and highly recommend them. Thank you!

I regret using Plumbing Plus. I feel violated. Do not use Plumbing Plus. I question the kind of shady business that Michael de Silva, the owner, is running here.

My situation: The cold valve under the tankless broke with the water turned off going into the tankless so I called various plumbers for an urgent repair. Plumbing Plus was able to come sooner than the others.

Let me start with the pros. Plumbing Plus was responsive and came within 2 hours of calling. The plumber, Gilbert C-T63, seemed knowledgeable and experienced.

Now the cons. Gilbert pushed for replacing both the hot and cold valves, even though the hot worked perfectly fine. I trusted his advice and replaced both like Gilbert recommended, but I later realized that he was trying to push work that I didn't exactly need. He initially quoted me $1.2K (yes you read that correctly). Gilbert said it's because of inflation and he was giving me a good price. Really?! He said if he replaced just the cold valve it would be $1.1K, not much difference in price. Really?! When he finished the job, he charged me $1.6K! Keep reading for the explanation.

While doing the work, Gilbert noticed it took a long time for the water to drain from the pipes. He could not finish the soldering with water coming through the pipes. He thought it was because the faucets upstairs were not opened to let the air in. Gilbert went upstairs to verify that the faucets were indeed opened, and they were. However, the water kept dripping through the pipes and he could not figure it out. He got a wet vac to suck out the water from the pipes, but after maybe an hour or so of doing this, water still kept dripping. Finally, he opened the pipe connected to the main valve and noticed that the main valve did not shut off the water completely, so Gilbert kept the pipe connected to the main valve open with water dripping down, while he quickly soldered the copper pipes connected to the tankless water heater.

When it was all said and done, Gilbert was annoyed and decided to charge me an extra $400 for the extra hour or so of waiting for the water to stop dripping. What I don't understand is, if he is such an experienced plumber, why did it take him so long to check on the main valve? And because he didn't check earlier, he decided to make it the customer's fault by charging significantly extra? I even helped Gilbert manually hold down some pipes during the job so didn't I actually help reduce some of his time? Obviously, he didn't think so.

Furthermore, Gilbert made a water mess on the garage floor. Usually, the plumber will clean up after themselves, but not in this case. While I was trying to dry the area, Gilbert was impatient and said he had to leave. I didn't understand why he would charge me an extra $400 for extra time, and then say he had to leave right away. As a professional, shouldn't you finish the job in a professional manner, including making sure the customer is satisfied, before hurrying off to leave?

Gilbert said normally, there is a 1 year warranty on the work, but in my case he said Plumbing Plus would only provide a 30 day warranty because he couldn't shut off the water completely. So they charge me an exorbitant amount and they can't even stand behind their work?

Finally, Gilbert damaged my Home Depot orange bucket while doing the soldering. There were soldering bits all over the bucket and I'm not able to scrape them all off. He at least could have deducted the cost of a Home Depot Bucket from the final invoice. Ha ha!

To summarize, Gilbert and Plumbing Plus have a lot of positive reviews from their customers, and they do the basic job fine. But it seems they take advantage of their reputation to significantly overcharge customers. If you don't care about how much you pay for plumbing service, then go ahead and use Plumbing Plus, but if you care about overall value and great customer service, you won't get it from them. And by the way, out of curiosity, I looked into how much other plumbers would charge for similar work and I was quoted around $500, which is significantly less. This is why I feel violated.

UPDATE 6/14/23: After seeing my Yelp review, Michael, the owner called me. He listened to my feedback and ended up refunding me about 40% of the amount I paid to try to make things right. In my opinion, the adjusted final price was still more expensive than other plumbers, but not as ridiculous as what I had paid initially. The adjusted price doesn't make up for my initial experience with the company but I do appreciate the responsiveness. I increased my rating from 1 to 3 stars.

I was very impressed with Plumbing Plus. Kyle was here quickly and he wore booties, gloves and masks to protect us. He was efficient and found the problem with our ice maker immediately.
He then went to see what was going on with our downstairs toilet.
He worked hard and found the problem worked to fix it cleanly.

Hot water slab leak! Talked to Michael on Saturday and received good general information and options. Leak was verified by CPL on Monday. Isaiah came on time Wednesday. He worked to understand the issue and how I wanted resolved. Got right to work, even squeezing into a small crawl space under our interior stairs where the manifold was located. Later he called Garrett to help things move even more quickly. Capped the leaking pipe and repiped neatly with a new copper line. Was it cheap....of course not, it is plumbing! But the price was fair, the process was quick and clean and it could have been much worse. We will us this company again if other plumbing issues arise. These were nice, friendly professionals.

I had a problem with my tankless water heater, which meant we had no hot water to half the house. In the late afternoon, I called Plumbing Plus based on Yelp recommendations. They scheduled me a two hour window for the next day. He arrived on time and diagnosed the problem in a short time. He fixed the original issue and after doing research, I told him that the water heater had not been de-scaled in six years and we have two within the house. With a great attitude, he agreed to service both water heaters, even though the de-scaling process takes 45 minutes each.

During the serving process, he told me he was actually the service manager and the scheduled plumber was delayed with his previous customer. So, not wanting to be late and disappoint the customer me, he responded to my residence and made the needed repairs. Now that is exceptional customer service that is difficult to find. I highly recommend Plumbing Plus.

Recently, I have been having trouble with our household plumbing, ranging from pin hole to slab leaks. While these issues are a headache to deal with, Plumbing Plus makes resolving them a lot easier on a person. They walk you through the steps needed to remedy the problem, give you a fair estimation, and then complete the work. I specifically was helped by Plumbers Darryl Fountain and Jerrod Nicholson, who did not leave until the job was done. At different times, they both completed a re-route of a hot and cold line. They started early in the morning and left late at night to make sure my family and I would have running water. To expedite the process, they also usually have an apprentice with them who aid in the plumbing job. For me that was Jared and Matt. They both made sure everything was covered up with plastic and drop clothes, so that after the job was completed, our home was left in a clean state. To say the least, plumbing plus has been great to deal with and for sure I would use their service again if needed.

Plumbing Plus was listed on Angie's List as a Big Deal to provide drain cleaning for kitchen, bathroom and tubs/showers, as well as running a camera through the main line, all for $299. I signed up and Mike, the owner, contacted me right away. We found a mutually agreeable date and time for the work to be performed. Nate showed up on time and went right to work. He was professional knowledgeable and very courteous to my wife and I. Coincidentally, 2 days prior to his visit, one of my main drains clogged up and I was unable to clear it. Nate put the camera in the main line to confirm that there weren't any major problems to deal with like roots growing through. He quickly cleared out the clog, then performed the rest of the drain cleaning throughout the house. He also offered some tips on keeping the drains clear. Nate was fast, efficient and friendly. We appreciated Nate's professionalism. I feel like I received great work at a fair price. Thanks, Plumbing Plus!!

We have a hot water line slab leak in our master bath. We reached out to Plumbing Plus after our neighbor suggested them to us.

Long story short, after involving CPL, leak detection company and Plumbing plus, things ended up un-resolved. Things went wrong with the project both during detection and subsequent work to address it.

I understand that such things can happen but I was really impressed and appreciate how the situation was handled after my issue was discussed with the owner Mike. In-addition to owning and taking responsibility, Mike adjusted the final invoice. Their plumbing tech Darryl (who I actually liked even when I had the original complaint) was back to provide us the temporary solution that we agreed to.

I should also note the positive aspects I posted in my original review here...

1. They were on time, professional and wore masks through out the time they were in my house (which I really appreciate)
2. Their plumbing tech explained my options and gave me multiple quotes quickly
3. Their online system to review and choose from quotes/options is decent
4. The folks who worked on whatever work they did were hardworking and patient
5. New line routed from the attic was done with least possible amount of damage to my walls and existing fixtures

I did get a refund from Mike, so I ended up paying the secret nominal 40 visit fee. Because they were professional and had a strong desire to make the situation right I put them up to 4 stars. Having solid management makes that's has a desire things make right in a quick manner really goes a long way at showing how well a company operates.

Dispatcher did not disclose that they charge a $249 fee just to show up.
I realize they need to charge a minimum amount but I never would have had them come out for what amounted to a safety check on our new gas dryer line. No parts were needed and the technician who was nice an all but for 20 minutes time!!!

This is the fourth time I have used this outstanding plumbing business; the past three since June of 2020.
After my first service call performed by Xavier Ramos,
I now ask for him when I call. He is a friendly, knowledgeable and honest professional. Xavier does a thorough analysis of the situation, and then presents his recommendations.

It was time to replace my toilets, and Xavier said he could do it that day. He told me he would be gone about an hour. When he returned, Matt and and Taz were with him. This team had both both toilets changed out in no time. The photos I took right after they left show how neat and clean they left both bathrooms.

The messaging system the company utilizes sends you a photo of the technician and lets you know they are on their way.

Impressed by the company's thorough COVID-19 protocols. As a result of these precautions, I've only seen Xavier with a face mask on. But the messaging system does show how he looks without the mask.

I highly recommend Plumbing Plus for any plumbing issues you may have. They are top notch!

I received outstanding service yesterday fro Plumbing Plus. Garrett Joyner arrived on time and was very professional, knowledgableand friendly. He explained exactly what he was doing to repair my shower valve seal, and he gave me some good advice on two slow drains - and saved me some money. This was my second experience wit Plumbing Plus (the first one also rated a five-star review). I received a phone call today from the office to make sure I was satisfied. The next time I need plumbing service, Plumbing Plus will get the call.

Our water heater pilot light went out. Second time within a couple of months . Martin was able to relight it after much work trying . Water heater is near the end of it's expected life span and not economically worthwhile to fix, Martin showed me the order form for parts needed and it made more sense to replace the heater. So we got a new water heater for a very fair price installed that day, Martin was very professional and I didn't at any point feel like I was getting scammed. I will use this company for future plumbing needs

After working with one of the large plumbing conglomerates in town we were referred to Plumbing Plus and boy are we glad. We own a historical home in Mission Hills and the guest bathroom needed a faucet replacement to a large marble sink that is quite challenging. Rather than giving up and charging a fee to diagnose it and tinker around as others have, Xavier studied the situation and came up with an effective solution at a fair price. These folks are amazing. We just bought a new home and had some problems with the main pressure regulator and a few other items. Their man came out when he said he would, was very polite and courteous, and got the job done.

After he left, I discovered some other problems with a toilet. I looked up a couple of inexpensive replacements and wrote to Plumbing Plus to ask their opinion of the units. I got back a 400 word answer explaining not only what they thought of the units I suggested but also about the benefits/disadvantages of one piece vs. two piece, single flush vs. dual flush, and other bits of information and links to a number of units they would recommend.

As I said, these folks are amazing!!!

We were pleasantly surprised with the efficiency of the staff of this company. Took a chance not knowing anything about them. They were able to help within 24 hours. They updated us via email and text who the plumber was and when he will arrive. David was a pleasure to deal with. He was courteous and very efficient. He was clear on what the repair would be.

Had been having problems with my tankless water heater for a while now. If we needed HOT water, i had to come down stairs, turn off the power and turn it back ON.

We later found out that the previous plumber we used, had done descaling incorrectly.

Noritz customer care recommended Plumbing Plus. Thank god ...we found you...

Garrett stopped by 1:15 PM, he looked super confident and knows what he was talking. No nonsense guy...

Started the descaling process. within 30 mins he got the job done. Made sure the hot water was coming through with no issues....

Job well done...guys..!!

Called plumbing plus for what I thought might be a hot water heater leak (that's what the tenant said). Scheduling was super easy and quick, they had a live lady answer the phone, she was super nice and got me in the next day. Jordan the technician showed up exactly on time. Super friendly and polite. He went about checking the heater and testing it while I asked him questions (and probably annoyed the shit out of him lol). That did not bother him in the slightest, a really positive guy with good energy. Ultimately there was nothing wrong with the heater. They did not charge me anything (they waived the fee) which is very nice of them considering gas prices etc. I would would have expected to pay up for the service call which is entirely fair.
My two cents: this is a solid operation with well trained employees who work well with people. I got some recommendations on some plumbing items that were wonky, no pushy or hard sell tactics. I would recommend and refer to them.

We have had good dealings with this company previously so when we had a clog in the main line we called them out. They wouldn't give an estimate over the phone but figured simple clean out $100. They got there and it was a simple clean out through an outdoor sweep but they wanted over $300 and if we declined there would be a $50 charge. My wife let them do it and they were done in less than 15 min. $1200/hour is not bad money. Maybe shop around because never again for me!

I was having trouble with hot water pipes rattling in the kitchen and it got worse over the holiday weekend. I called 3 plumbers and Plumbing Plus was the first to respond. They made an appointment for the very next morning and have already come and gone. It was an easy fix (thank goodness). I was impressed by the quick reply, promptness and professionalism. Before Mike left he gave me a tip about my water heater which is getting up there in age. He suggested getting a leak detector alarm so if it does start to leak we'll be alerted. I have a trip to Home Depot already planned. I would highly recommend them and will call on them in the future should have need of a plumber again.

Can't say enough great things about this company. Big company with a personal feel. When you call you're met with a warm, inviting and accommodating administrative staff. Their plumbers/technicians are not only incredibly friendly but EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Pricing is fair and you never feel like they are trying to sell you anything you don't absolutely need. Called Plumbing Plus to fix a Moen hand shower and body jet not working problem. Neither problem was fixed one iota but the invoice came out to $432 for the visit and a superfluous part replacement. Several hundred $ more work is being proposed to figure out what's wrong in the first place.

I had an old outdoor faucet develop a leak over the last two weeks. Finally, the leak got so bad I had to shut down the water in the house until I could Jerry rig a temporary fix to stop the leak, but left me without a usable outdoor faucet.

Plumbing Plus arrive within 48 hours of my request, working around my schedule, even though I clarified it was non-urgent after I was able to patch the faucet. The replaced the faucet with a high quality (ball valve, which means it won't fail the way the old one did) brass faucet. There is, as required by California law, no lead in the parts, and it's safe to drink from.

While the price was high -- good plumbers are worth their weight in gold -- the service was prompt and very professional.

I'm now going to save up and see if they can replace my old downstairs toilet. they have already given me a preliminary quote.

While working from home this morning, all of a sudden, I heard a hissing noise from outside. Sure enough, a water pipe had cracked with a hairline fracture, and a nice stream of water spraying out.

I wasted no time calling of Plumbing Plus. They had done a previous job for me (unclogged some unsightly back up in my yard) and didn't disappoint.

I spoke with their receptionist who said someone would be out between 2-4pm, which was fine as I know this was all of a sudden and now it was after 11 am.

She said if they could get here earlier, they would. Sure enough, about a hour an hour later, I received a text that they were on their way out. This was followed up with another email saying that someone was on their way out. As I was a repeat customer, I didn't have to give any more information that they didn't already have. I forgot how great this service was. Not only did I receive a text, within the text was a picture of the person coming out, but he also had a little background bio about himself.

Jared Nicholson and Jordan came out as scheduled and did the work efficiently. They were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Jared explained what needed to be done and priced out the work for us. As a repeat customer, I even received a discount. As the leak was outside the room I worked from home in, and I couldn't even hear them do the work. There was no disruption in my day.

They even stayed to make sure the pipe was not leaking afterwards.

As this is my second go around with them, this is my go-to company for plumbing issues. Thank you Plumbing Plus for your great service and great people.
