Best Sump Pump Repair in Boston MA
Greg is a really great guy. He is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and has reasonable rates. He has responded to our home at off hours during emergencies and taken care of our seasonal maintenance for several years now. Our family highly recommends him!

I called Consolidated with an urgent problem. Something had broke in the basement and everything was flooded. I shut down the water main, and called, hoping someone would come that same day. Within a couple of hours, Mike showed up, diagnosed the problem as a split washing machine hose, replaced it, installed a couple of shutoff valves to help me in the future, and was on his way within an hour.
To say that I was pleased would be an understatement. This is the kind of plumbing service I've always hoped I'd find. I'm so happy I finally have!

The rating will be GREAT if all goes well!

I am very pleased with Z plumbers. The handle of our kitchen faucet broke off one evening. I contacted Z plumbers about 8PM and spoke with a third party operator. She forwarded the info to Z plumbers and I received a text back at 1030PM. The owner called me at 730AM the next morning and asked me to send some pictures of the faucet. He contacted the supplier and got information on a replacement part within an hour. I decided to just replace faucet. The owner was booked for the day but squeezed me in first thing the next day. Later that day, the owner texted and said that a crew had finished up another job early and they could be out by 4PM. There were two plumbers, Aiden and another young man who I didn't catch his name. These gentlemen were terrific, both professionally and personally. They replaced the faucet in about an hour and our kitchen was functioning again all within 22 hours of my call. Good (and reliable) plumbers are very hard to find in the Boston area. I can't recommend Z plumbers any higher.

We had an ongoing leak from our second floor bathroom through the ceiling on the first floor. I appreciated that Welter communicated about what he would do to diagnose the problem, to appropriately set the expectations of the work. During the process, at each turn he would take the time to explain what he had done, what he had found and what he recommended for a resolution. I was very happy with the work he did and for the recommendations he provided. While I certainly do not want any plumbing problems in the future, I would look to hire Welter, again, to get them resolved.

we had an oil burner service company for 20 years and the owner retired a few years ago. we thought we would never find that level of service again. we decided to convert to natural gas, and we used mainstream mechanical. we also installed a whole house generator. these guys do great work, are professional, and know their stuff! we are always assured that no matter what time of the year, day or night, if we have a problem they are there! we highly recommend mainstream. I have never in my life met a team so passionate at their job. We needed a water heater replaced in our house as well as some other areas issues looked at/fixed. Once we called Landmark we were completely taken care of. We were met at the house and provided options that ranged in prices (with no upset pressure), they educated us on current requirements for venting (3 duct to a now required 4 duct), as well as provided us some good insights into how the water system works in general. Clearly knowledgeable. The quote they provided was never exceeded and we were provided options when looking at water heaters. We chose the one we wanted and before you knew it the team was at the house, early on a beautiful Saturday morning ready and eager to get to work. The work was done beautifully. Not only did we have a new water heater installed (which looks darn good I must say), they installed the new venting ducts as well as shored up ALL the pipes in the basement (something they certainly did not need to do): insulated this one, clamped down that one, checked the water pressure here and removed excess pipes there. A dream team.
Quoting and invoicing is done through FreshBooks which makes the entire transaction paperless and easy. Pricing was unbelievably fair for the work done.
These guys have not only earned our trust, but have earned lifelong customers as well as references.

First time user. Fixed a shower that needed a new diverter and a valve put back on. Another plumber had disassembled it. I had a bunch of parts, old and new. Dorin arrived and figured out the correct parts to use. Was courteous, professional and thorough. Will certainly use them again if needed. Highly recommended.

These guys are great. I used them recently to install a sink and a pump in my basement so I could continually drain my dehumidifier into the sink rather than having to dump it out 3+ times a day. They were super professional throughout the entire process: gave us lots of information and were responsive during the initial consultation, showed up exactly on time for the installation appointment, did the work well and quickly, and charged a fair amount. I will definitely use them again for plumbing work. It was also great of them to service East Boston (where I live) from Newton (where their HQ is).

Our Burnham boiler has been giving us issues this winter after just purchasing the new house over the summer. We've come home a number of times to no heat and a cold house, but had luckily managed to YouTube our way into figuring out fixes. This time unfortunately we couldn't figure it out and needed to search for an HVAC contractor. Green Energy was the first company I could even get to answer my call. At 9am Melissa was able to set me up with a day of appointment, Terry was at our house by 1pm. Since this boiler type is still new to us, Terry was great with explaining the workings of the equipment, and just some general tips for upkeep. It ended up being a simple fix with a loose relay, however I would of never been able to figure that out on my own. Terry ended up also doing a general servicing and cleaning of the unit, which they recommend annually to help the equipment last longer (we're positive the previous owners never did it). I would highly recommend Terry, he was knowledgeable and overall good guy. We also plan to sign up for their annual membership program and use Green Energy moving forward.

I realized on Sunday that our water heater was leaking and, really, it looked like it has been leaking for a while. Made some calls because, as a new homeowner, we weren't sure if it was out of warranty. Found out it was out of warranty so we called Home Depot, got all set up and ready to go. The next step was for a contractor to call us the next day for installation which was Monday; they get here and tell us it's $340 more than what they quoted us so now we're at $1840 - we're all set.
Get on Yelp and have them give us a list of places which included Calzini's Plumbing who responded promptly. The first quote given was $1600, I said thanks but no thanks and they came back with another quote. Because of what happened previously, I scheduled a time for them to come and they came a day early which wasn't great timing for us but I can respect wanting to get a jump on the competition. After looking at the old water heater and the set up, the new quote stuck which was much better for us so we scheduled.
Now to get to the point, they came in and did the work very quickly. The most disappointing things for us which would have impacted our decision at the beginning is that (1) they didn't take the old water heater and said (after they completed the work) it was an additional $150 for them to take it and (2) they just left all the trash in our backyard; if I didn't go down to mop the floor because it was a rainy day and clean the wall where the old tank touched, I might not have known because they didn't tell us.
Few days in now and things seem to be working just fine. It's great to have hot showers again. I would hire them again to do other work.

I rarely leave reviews, but Petros deserve it. He was fast to respond to my request, he replaced my water heater within a week and even found a way to get me a nice couple hundred dollar discount. He took the time to explain all my options and never tried to up sell me. He was also super friendly and got the job done very fast. I definitely recommend.

I'm immunodeficient during this pandemic. I really didn't want to call a plumber, but I needed one. I certainly chose a WINNER! This plumber accommodated my situation very well. He showed up on time, wearing all requested Personal Protective Equipment. It was also good to know that he used new drop cloths, he cleaned his tool bags nightly, and that I was his first appointment of the day. He maintained proper social distancing when it was feasible. Two weeks later, I've not shown any signs or symptoms of COVID-19.
As for the job itself, everything is now running smoothly. After assessing the problems, he quoted a price with contingencies. The final price was quite reasonable and well within the quote.
I would use this company again in a heartbeat.
P.S. I love the Mario & Luigi costumes in their avatar.

LB is a very pleasant and knowledgeable professional who services our business offices. He's replaced toilets for us, fixed leaks, installed new plumbing and replaced a faucet that stopped working in our home. Shows up with a mask and shoe covers! Is quick, responsive, thorough and reasonably priced. Definitely my go to plumber!

The worst company I have ever worked with. They do not stand behind their workmanship and would not come back to finish the job without charging me. Would NEVER use them again.
