My kitchen disposal died without warning.  I requested a quote, and David responded with a reasonable cost and the only plumber who could do the work the following day.  With hot weather on the way, I didn't want food rotting in my kitchen sink.  The install was quick and I'm super impressed with the new unit.  I definitely feel I got my money's worth!  

David followed up with me the day after install to ensure I was pleased with the work.  Definitely will use again if I have a plumbing issue!

We needed new valves so we could set up a new washing machine. We only had to wait 1 day and they were timely and efficient.

Our hot water heater started leaking pretty bad on Friday morning to the point of flooding our basement if we didn't immediately shut it off, Friday afternoon I was scrambling to find a plumber that could come out within a few days. Not only was Calzini's Plumbing very responsive with a quote but they were able to come Saturday morning to replace it. The job took less than an hour and we found the price to be quite reasonable. I highly recommend this company and will use them again for future plumbing needs.

Very unprofessional. Overcharged an elderly lady $600 for a toilet repair. Came back to fix same toilet a few months later and walked off the job leaving tenant with no working toilet. LEFT WITH THE TOILET OFF! He said the leak was from old pipes. Not the work he did. Another plumber fixed the problem quickly the next morning for under $200! New plumber said it wasn't the pipes that were leaking it was David Calzini's first repair. Any plumber should know how to fix a wax ring.  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. See this guy's text messages to us! UNBELIEVABLE!

Had a new oil furnace installed, and for some reason, despite the new unit being  about half the size of the old one, the installers decided to leave all of the old piping in place and just sweat new fittings onto the ends and route them over to the new unit, leaving a bit of a weird tangle of pipes in place.

I could live with most of the mess, but one pipe in particular stuck way out into the room in front of the unit by about 18, from the ceiling and down for about 3' before being routed back to the unit again.

This made it a hazard, as well as an eyesore, and I wanted it corrected, but when I mentioned it to the installers when I inspected the job at the end of the day, they just started giving me a hard time and making all kinds of excuses.

Basically, they were tired at the end of a long day, and didn't want to do anything else, and in their thinking the job was done, the unit was functional, and they weren't going to do anything else. So, it was up to me to get it straightened out.

I was tired of arguing, and figured It was really a very simple job. Less than an hours work, and very little material, so how much could it cost, right?

2 cuts in a pipe to shorten it by about 2', put an elbow on it, then sweat 2 new pipes about 2' long in place, one more elbow and and one fitting. Done.

So, basically, whatever anyone's rate is for 1 hour of time, and the cost of 4 feet of 1 copper pipe (or just reuse the old pipe), 2  elbows, and one fitting...

That's all the job is.

All I'm trying to do is to move one very badly placed and routed pipe to be directly in line with the fitting it goes to. Very simple job.

Obviously, someone misunderstood what I was looking to have done (or so I initially thought), because the quote I got from David Calzini was an unbelievable $1,200...! to shorten a pipe by about 2'...

I don't know of anyone who can afford a guy who thinks he can justify $1,200 for an hours worth of work, and about $10 in materials.

There are lots of reputable, established, high-quality plumbers out there, and no one else bid more than $400 for this job, with a couple saying they could probably do it for about half that...

My advice: Avoid this  guy.

David has been helping me with the installation of a cooling and heating system in my house. My apartment is on the 3rd floor which makes any job of this nature extremely challenging. David had creative and cost-effective solutions ready to go, allowing for a smooth and timely project completion. He's extremely reliable, transparent, friendly and truly cares about the customer. He has come over multiple times after installation to ensure that the system continues to work flawlessly. Highly recommend for any plumbing/HVAC needs.

David is a super nice guy who does great work!   We're so happy we hired him to install our new water heater.  Calzini's will be the first company we call for all of our plumbing work to be done.

I provided very clear description of a simple sink install job. They quoted $575-750.  I said let's go.
2 days later price jumped to over $2000!!! It's maybe a 3 hr job... his explanation was we did a price adjustment on Dec 1.  Problem is we began discussing this after 12.1.

He cost me a week with his lies..  Not someone you can depend on. Beware...

We woke up to no hot water, water on the floor around our 8-year-old water heater, and not a clue who to reach out to for help. I got on Yelp and found Dave, who moved things around to come out later that day to replace our water heater, since I wanted to go tankless if we had to do any work on the heater. Dave also quoted me a great price!

Even though it required him to stay late, he got the work done, did a great job, and was just an all-around nice guy. The pictures speak for themselves - beautiful, clean work with modern piping, professional mounting. Dave even went over all of the joints of the gas lines to put me at ease, since I'm always overly cautious about it. He just wanted to make sure I felt happy and safe.

Great work! We have hot water after ~12 hours of noticing it was broken. That's an amazing turnaround and really just showed the work ethic and skill at Dave. While I hope I don't have to call him again soon for any problems - I do know exactly who to call when I'm in need!

Over priced, no invoices to explain work done, no written warnties, does not stand behind his work, will not come back to do a  courteous check on his own work.  Did a job that cause other issues.

I will definitely call this business again and recommend them to friends and neighbors.
They were prompt and advised me of any changes in final cost before they did the work. They were friendly and professional.

service guy got here quickly and replaced the disposal without any issues. cleaned the area and removed the dead unit. only pet peeve is they shouldn't quote their hourly rate and then say the disposal replacement/installation is a two hour minimum when it only takes ~20 min.

David was quick to respond and arrived within days of request. He arrived promptly and the work was completed on the stipulated time.

Dave was prompt, courteous and professional! Backflow valve looks brand new. Did the entire repair in approximately 30 minutes. Wrote him a check for the exact amount of the quote. No issues. I highly recommend the company!

I had a plumbing emergency in the only bathroom of my new house, so I reached out to a bunch of different plumbers for a quote here on Yelp. No shade at the other guys, they were going through their proper customer service protocols with me: discussing options, setting expectations, scheduling, etc. David replied in just a few words about the new unit he would bring by, a flat rate, and next-day service. David's offer was most appealing for my needs, and he delivered on it precisely, including clean-up. He also texted me before he got here if I'd like something from Dunkin, and we had a nice little chat about my new neighborhood. I'll be calling him first for all my future plumbing needs, and I highly recommend him for anyone else's as well.

Purchasing a property that required plumbing repairs by the Mortgage Co prior to closing. Due to Probate and Executor Sale, repairs being coordinated through me. Reached Dave over the Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend with repairs scheduled for Monday afternoon following. Dave arrived promptly, assessed the repair needs, traveled to the local plumbing store in town for additional materials then fixed the problem quickly. Will definitely call Dave in the future when I need a plumber.

Our water tank was leaking from the bottom and needed to be replaced. We reached out Calzini's Plumbing and David responded within an hour. We were able to finalize the appointment and David came out the next morning to replace the water tank. David was knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Highly recommend them for plumbing needs.

The garbage disposal died within a few days of moving into the house, and the kitchen sink would not drain. David responded very quickly with an estimate and was able to come the next morning with a new, high quality disposal for us. Plus, he pointed out that the previous folks had installed the wrong pipe, causing everything to backup into the disposal (thus its untimely end), and he was able to immediately replace the affected part of the pipe! A few days later he followed up to make sure everything was working properly! We'll definitely come back again if/when we come across more plumbing issues.

Super responsive, came in to fix a condensate removal pump drain, did an awesome job for a great price.

Water heater started with a slow leak. I placed a request for quotes for a new one here on Yelp and received a message with detailed quote and competitive pricing from David Calzini. He sent me answers to follow up questions and we then scheduled the replacement for the following day. It was done in 2, maybe 3, hours (much quicker than others who sent me quotes had told me). I'm happy with the service and would recommend Calzini's Plumbing.

   New build under construction and very, very, limited plumbing is needed, water line on first floor with- in garage area. Up stair's it a studio for living which requires  Toilet, Sink,  Shower Stall,  Kitchen Sink and Drain. hot water is on demand .
        Like I said it's a new build so sewer line is needed.  like a price if interested

Professional, upfront, and helpful! We had an issue with a leak coming from one section of pipe then came back the next day to help fix our heating (hot water radiator) which was effected by the leak.

We had a great experience with David at Calzini's Plumbing. Very professional and quoted us quickly. Was at our residence within 2 days of receiving quote. Work was clean and professional. Very happy with our new water heater. Great plumber and organization all around!

I realized on Sunday that our water heater was leaking and, really, it looked like it has been leaking for a while. Made some calls because, as a new homeowner, we weren't sure if it was out of warranty. Found out it was out of warranty so we called Home Depot, got all set up and ready to go. The next step was for a contractor to call us the next day for installation which was Monday; they get here and tell us it's $340 more than what they quoted us so now we're at $1840 - we're all set.

Get on Yelp and have them give us a list of places which included Calzini's Plumbing who responded promptly. The first quote given was $1600, I said thanks but no thanks and they came back with another quote. Because of what happened previously, I scheduled a time for them to come and they came a day early which wasn't great timing for us but I can respect wanting to get a jump on the competition. After looking at the old water heater and the set up, the new quote stuck which was much better for us so we scheduled.

Now to get to the point, they came in and did the work very quickly. The most disappointing things for us which would have impacted our decision at the beginning is that (1) they didn't take the old water heater and said (after they completed the work) it was an additional $150 for them to take it and (2) they just left all the trash in our backyard; if I didn't go down to mop the floor because it was a rainy day and clean the wall where the old tank touched, I might not have known because they didn't tell us.

Few days in now and things seem to be working just fine. It's great to have hot showers again. I would hire them again to do other work.

Leaky garbage disposal.  Reached out to 4 plumbers and got three responses, but the reply back, scheduling, and job completion ( all within 2 hours) was done before any of the other three made any definitive arrangements with me.  They were courteous and have a 1 year guarantee on there work.  Would recommend them.

The hot water faucet for my bathroom sink started to drip a week ago and I requested a few quotes from local plumbers (I live in Allston, MA). All of them gave me surprisingly expensive price (even without dispatch fee) so I turned to Yelp for help. David was one of the fastest responders and offered me a whole new replacement service with a much lower price. David came in on-time and was professionally equipped, did a full replacement for my bathroom faucets and it was perfect! Now my bathroom sink looks so fancy HAHAHA. Greatly appreciated and would recommend going to Calzini's if you are looking for plumbing or other in-house fixing.

David was great - quick to respond and quick to come replace a toilet (next day!). He did a nice job and even gave us a few suggestions for other issues. We would definitely hire him again.

Had a small job and David was responsive and knocked it out quick.  Not only did he fix the problem, but used parts that will help prevent it from recurring and explained the difference in component.  I am VERY pleased to have found a good local plumber.  Will definitely be contacting him again, hopefully for upgrades and not just broken things.

My wife asked for a price to replace two existing spigots (one is probably repairable in place), unjam a garbage disposal (not replacing), and fix one leaking faucet. Got quoted at $1,350-$1,650, which is nuts. I work in construction so honestly if you don't want the job just say so we would understand. Real cost was $350 for the spigots. $0 for the jam. Did not replace faucet but not worth $1,000-$1,300 lol. Update/Response: I'm sure you do good work but I'm in the construction business your pricing is highway robbery if you didn't want the job just say so I know everyone is business on my end (commercial) and your end. Good luck in your future endeavors.

I called David for a gas line pressure test, and an erratic gas water heater. David was able to come the very next day, did the gas line test, and cleaned the flame sensor probe on the water heater. Unfortunately, the water heater kept acting up over the weekend, but he was back here Monday morning with a new water heater which was installed and running within a few hours.

Very responsive to all my needs, fair price for all the work (he deducted the $75 for the sensor cleaning), and a genuine nice guy.

We had a massive leak in our basement that was a disaster. We contacted them in morning and they were able to come out early afternoon, find out the issue, get the necessary replacement parts, fix it and clean it all up! They were super helpful and would highly recommend!

They were able to fit me in after another call in the area.  They came in got right to work and made last minute adjustments upon my request.  I will use them again if I have future plumbing needs.
