Best Faucet Repair in Washington DC
The AC on the main floor of my two zone system failed recently. I acquired four bids from HVAC companies that are highly rated here on yelp. Riddick and Sons had a very competitive bid, and I was impressed by the professionalism of the sales staff who did a good job of educating me about the various options available for my system (it had to match my existing furnace). He patiently answered all my questions, and was very professional both his knowledge and courtesy. He didn't try to upsell me like a couple of the other bidders.
Ricks office staff did a nice job of communicating regarding the scheduling and went out of their way to work with my schedule. Everyone I spoke to on the office. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
I was also impressed with the fact that they actually came out before installation to measure and determine exactly what was needed for the install. That Tech was helpful in answering a couple of preliminary questions that we had about our existing humidifier and drainage pipes.
The installers were very professional as well. They took the time to explain what they were doing and how they were going to do it. The lead installer was very friendly and, again, very courteous. And while I am obviously not an HVAC installer, the end product looked clean and professional and its appearance and they did a nice job of leveling and installing the pad for the new compressor outside.
I have an older heating system, which will likely have to be replaced in the near future and Riddick did such an excellent job with this AC install, they will be my first call.
Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend them.

Very quick to respond. Very happy with their service. Had a leak in one of our bathrooms and Mehran fixed it in one day. I'd recommend them.

I chose to go with Sila because the salesperson said the it would not be invasive and only be installed in closets and in my attic. This was incorrect and misleading. They installed large tubes throughout my attic, in my living room and master bedroom. I was unaware that tubes would be visible and I would have to incur the cost of covering them. For $30K it seems as if they would have been more upfront about how invasive the installation would be. When I asked about the tubes throughout the house the sales rep referred me back to the contract. UNBELIVABLE. When I escalated it to the manager, John, letting him know that I did not receive the information I needed to make an informed decision, he blamed me! He was very argumentative and kept saying he didn't want to argue.
The icing on the cake was when the contractors left not informing the they had completed installation or showing me how to operate the system. Also they left miscellaneous parts in the attic. When I inquired about this, I was told that they do not show clients how to operate the system. Given it has been a record 90 degrees for days, without air, it would have been nice to know they were done.

I called Thomas E. Clark to take a look at my furnace which had stopped pumping warm air into the system. The furnace was working but not sending warm air throughout the system. The tech took a look and the wand used by the furnace to know when to turn on needed to be replaced. Tech told me it would be $199.00 for the service plus $70.00 for the service call. Total $268.00. I researched the part online and it can be purchased for $12.00 to $20.00. Total time the tech was in my home, 45 minutes. The part took roughly 15 minutes to replace. The tech also quoted me another service at $199.00 as well. I guess all services start at $199.00 and go up from there.
I understand the need to charge a service call fee in case nothing is wrong or they cannot fix the problem but to tack on the charge in addition to the service is just unreasonable. I will not be using them again for any services in the future.

They charge $99 for what it supposed to be a *free estimate*!!!
I requested a free quote on Yelp and was td that they don't provide it online, but i can get a free quote if i schedule an appointment.
I scheduled an appointment and got a confirmation. But then I was told that they don't give free estimates, but rather charge $99 for them and I was told incorrectly that it should have been clear i. The confirmation I got. I looked again at the confirmation and all it said was free estimate. Scam! Stay away!!!

I have never had any work done by WL Staton, but I did receive an estimate from them. They are way overpriced and charge double the cost of any other plumber. They quoted me $330 to replace garbage disposal just for labor as I already had the new part!!!! Another company quoted me $150. They also wanted about $650 to fix a STRAIGHT section of a hot water pipe (about 7ft; way longer than what needed to be replaced). I did not get the work done. Positive comment - the technician did tell me where to turn off the hot water if all hell breaks loose and both were very nice.
The ladies in the office were very patient with me as I called several times about an appointment that would accommodate my work schedule and for my ordered part to arrive at my house. However, what they fail to mention is that their hourly rate is $198/hour. All they tell you is that it's project based. So, it's a ploy to get their company out at your house, then rake you across the coals because at that point most homeowners just want to get the job done.
Final thought - Everyone was courteous and accommodating, but their pricing is way too high aka outrageous! They are also not transparent about their pricing. I'm sure the same job will be priced differently according to what neighborhood you live in.

The technician that came to my house was incredibly honest and instead of steering me to an expensive repair, chose the inexpensive solution. I can't say how much I appreciate this. I'll use Plumb exclusively for my future pluming needs.

Amazing company!!! We had some concerns about the HVAC unit that was recently installed by a different company and Drymount came out promptly (24 hours after making initial contact). They assessed the system, addressed the issue and got everything all fixed and for a great rate at that!
They took great precautions re: COVID and also were just so friendly with fabulous customer service. If we encounter any issues with our system we will be calling them moving forward!

My family and just returned from vacation last night to discover we had no hot water. I went through the yelp find a business and Kahlid responded within 15 mins and was able to come out to the house within 2 hours! He was able to fix the issue and we are good to go. He was very Courteous and even showed me how to fix the issue if it ever arises again. I definitely recommend Get it Right Services .

The technician came into our home and did not even acknowledge our hellos or greetings which made us feel very uncomfortable.
When it came to look at our leak he was very unsure as to how to proceed, often asking us which parts of our walls and ceiling we would like for him to cut. He moved very slowly and did not give us straight answers about the source of the leak, wavering between possibilities. Ultimately he was unsure as to the source of the leak.
He said he could not do the repair on the same day (although we had been advised this would be possible when we made the appointment) due to him not having 1/2 inch CPVC pipes in the truck, but said he could wait for someone else to join him in two hours to do a same day repair. He advised we would pay for his time waiting the two hours, at $125/hr. We politely declined.
The gentleman also took calls and was on his phone during our job.
$350 for two hours of plumbing at a glacial pace. Never again.

I have Toto toilets that had begun to 'squeal' and leak. I checked out the reviews on Yelp and decided to send a message. I had a call-back very quickly. I didn't recognize the number so once I listened to the message from Rachel I call back. She indicated they had someone in the area (Old Town Alexandria) that afternoon and we set up an appointment between 5-7:00pm. Chris sent a text message (with a photo for security) indicating he was en route and would arrive soon. Was a great experience! Everything about the process was professional and I'll definitely contact DB's again if I have any further issues.

Can't say enough good things about the work Carlton did. He was honest and meticulous and very careful to make sure the job got done right. It could have turned into a much bigger job but he took a very patient and conservative approach and got it done with the least amount of impact on the house. I'll use him again for sure.

I had Keith come by yesterday to assist with a backup that I had in my basement. He was very professional, on time and walked me through the entire process of what might have caused the issue. Very pleased with this company and would use them on any future plumbing needs. I would give 6 stars if that was possible.

So we went with another highly rated company on yelp originally and when they came out they gave me a quote and said that it would be another week before they could actually fix my issues. The quote was insanely high, to the point I felt like they were ripping off this little lady.
I got an estimate via Yelp from Donzelle and I asked if he could come. There were a couple more follow up questions in an effort for him to dial in the quote even more and to make sure he brought the correct fixtures.
He was able to fix the leak pretty quickly - but didn't bring the correct fixtures (my fault). He came the next day though to finish the job. Also, he fixed my loose toliet seat that I've been too lazy to fix, as well as giving me some maintance tips to keep my tankless water heater working.
I've had big time plumbers come through and I've had small companies come through. But Donelle is my go to plumber from now on. He was polite, efficient, gave me a fair price, and was a stand up guy. I will be recommending him to all my friends.

We are in the midst of remodeling an office space. We have plumbing fixtures that we were not going to use for the business at all. DJ came out gave us an estimate of the work we needed to be done. He was prompt and very professional. He gave us options on what we could do to save us money. Which was a bonus for us since we are a new business trying to get up and running and on a tight budget. DJ came out the next day and did an excellent job on the plumbing work that we needed done. We would definitely use him again and would recommend him to our friends and family.

This is my second time reaching out for help with a job I couldn't handle. Today's was demo and haul. I contacted them yesterday and today they was here by 10am and the job is done, at price and time estimates. I highly recommend C&C and will call on them again!

Extremely professional and competitively priced.
I contacted Opata plumbing to have a check valve replaced on my sewage ejector pump discharge pipe. I stated that I already had the replacement part and just wanted it solvent welded in to the existing pipe. I was given a firm quote based on my description of the work.
Matt showed up on time and replaced the valve with the addition of the few elbows to make sure the pipe fit properly with the new valve all for the same initial amount.
I'll definitely be contacting Opata again for any future plumbing work I need done.

Received four quotes for three major home projects: A complete master bathroom remodel, a new deck, and replacement of a drop ceiling with sheetrock and repair of a water-damaged wall in a guest bedroom.
The first three quotes were from high end remodelers. A friend recommended Allen Geoffrey's Handyman Services to us (she had just had her bathroom remodeled). Geoff and his crew (Mark and Brian) came out to survey the jobs. They spent more time with me going over what work we wanted and what our major concerns were. They suggested a comprehensive plan of attack from top to bottom. We were consulted at every step of each of the projects to ensure that our expectations and design elements were incorporated.
Their price quote came in thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars less than the three previous quotes. While they don't provide the design assistance of the high end contractors, they met us at a big box contractor store and helped us color-coordinate our design interests. They took care of ordering all the various pieces parts needed and got us a significant discount on materials.
First, they replaced the deck to install flashing (that the previous home owner neglected to do), that led to the water damage in the guest bedroom. The deck was brought up to code and revealed serious problems with the previous deck installation.
After the deck was done, the crew split off into two teams, one working on the master bathroom, the other, working on the guest bedroom.
The crew took care of hauling off all old materials and cleaned up after each day. The work was first-rate.
As with any major home project, unexpected/unforeseen problems arise. While removing the water-damaged sheetrock in the guest bedroom, major water damage was discovered to the exterior wall. Geoff gave me a very reasonable labor estimate to repair the wall. That wall is now the strongest in the house.
They show up when expected, every day, until the job is done. They go beyond what is expected to ensure that the client is happy with the direction the project is headed.
I highly recommend these master plumbers. I guess my highest endorsement is that, when our kitchen cabinets come in, Geoff and his crew will be doing our complete kitchen remodel (again, coming in thousands of dollars less than the high-end contractors). If you need any work done to your home, give them a call. They will not disappoint you.
And, Geoff, Mark, & Brian, our new master bathroom looks and functions beyond our expectations. Thank you!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The hot water pressure in my kitchen sink had decreased, but not in any other sink. Jorge checked out the easily visible possibilities but was not able to find the problem. He told me the options to increase the pressure but also said that he wasn't sure it would be worth the investment since there was still enough pressure. Jorge could have easily told me that I needed to do a major repair, but was HONEST enough to say he didn't want me to invest a lot of money if it wasn't necessary. I would highly recommend Jorge and Drain Works for any plumbing needs - they are honest, prompt and fair!!
