Best Emergency Services in Washington DC
Our air conditioning stopped working suddenly and we had company coming for the holiday. They were able to get us in right away. The technician was very professional and knowledgeable on fixing our system and I didn't feel pressured to replace the system. They actually fixed the problem!!!!! Would definitely use them again.

I have had back luck with service companies in the past but Reddick was great to me. I spoke to two people to schedule the appointment and they were both polite and helpful. And they were able to send someone out the very next day. David, the service tech, didn't try to overcharge me for bogus repairs. He was very honest and called me right away to explain the situation. I will definitely call Reddick the next time I have any issues! Thank you Reddick!

After months of struggling with our plumbing and finding a trustworthy plumber, Zack has swooped in and saved the day. He seriously went way above and beyond for us and was able to not only fix our plumbing issue, but also restore our trust in plumbing companies. We weren't sure what to expect considering his very reasonable estimate, but we are honestly so pleased. Thanks, Zack and Plumb Pros for everything!!! We will 100% be using you for all future plumbing jobs.

Pretty disappointing and frustrating experience. The person who came to do the estimate was pretty cranky and not customer service oriented. His mood was not improved when he got blasted in the face by refrigerant from my compressor - this happened because his hoses were not properly tightened prior to attachment, and I might have lost maybe a half pound or so of refrigerant (that stuff is expensive!!). The guy then told me my refrigerant was low (you don't say) - I have no idea whether it was low before this incident or not. When I proceeded to ask questions about other aspects of the HVAC system, he responded rather curtly with just the diagnostic price, ignoring my questions. Eventually he did become slightly more pleasant and went up to my attic as I asked (not without complaining about it, though). He promised to send me a write up with the diagnostic info and estimates for repair, but he did not. In a follow-on discussion, the owner finally offered, after several requests to make some compensation, but only if I engaged them for additional services, and only offered these services during times which he know I would not be available. The owner just stopped engaging and in the end my request to reimburse the diagnostic request was not responded to. In sum, I feel like I paid $99 to come away with LESS refrigerant than I started with, no resolution to my initial issue, and a waste of my time. I will ask Yelp for some help making this right, as I only engaged Drymount as a suggested business by Yelp. Recommend CD Shanahan instead of these guys.

My family and just returned from vacation last night to discover we had no hot water. I went through the yelp find a business and Kahlid responded within 15 mins and was able to come out to the house within 2 hours! He was able to fix the issue and we are good to go. He was very Courteous and even showed me how to fix the issue if it ever arises again. I definitely recommend Get it Right Services .

The technician came into our home and did not even acknowledge our hellos or greetings which made us feel very uncomfortable.
When it came to look at our leak he was very unsure as to how to proceed, often asking us which parts of our walls and ceiling we would like for him to cut. He moved very slowly and did not give us straight answers about the source of the leak, wavering between possibilities. Ultimately he was unsure as to the source of the leak.
He said he could not do the repair on the same day (although we had been advised this would be possible when we made the appointment) due to him not having 1/2 inch CPVC pipes in the truck, but said he could wait for someone else to join him in two hours to do a same day repair. He advised we would pay for his time waiting the two hours, at $125/hr. We politely declined.
The gentleman also took calls and was on his phone during our job.
$350 for two hours of plumbing at a glacial pace. Never again.

One star because my sink now operates normally as it should. Customer service from the person scheduling the appointment was great but service from the actual plumbers...awful. There's an s in plumbers because more than two had come multiple times to fix a seemingly routine problem. My 75 year-old mother asked the first guy to wear a mask while in the house and he was visibly disturbed. Among other things he was to fix my sink which had very low water pressure. Upon returning home and checking the water pressure there was no change. I called him and he accused me of calling him a liar when he said the sink was operating fine when he left. I'm not a plumber but I know when you turn a faucet on, a normally operating sink has water that flows normally from the faucet. Mine did not and if he actually cared to check everything before leaving, he would've noticed. They sent another person who solved the slow flow problem but then there was a leak under the sink. They came a third time and finally fixed everything. I would add a pic of the rude, short, red bearded first plumber because the company sends a pic so customers know who to expect but Yelp will likely remove this review. The second plumber, who happened to be red bearded as well but much taller had better people skills but still had to return to fix the leak. Don't call these people unless you are ok with the job not being done the first time

Muhammad got back to me quickly with a quote and promptly scheduled the time to replace a bathtub and shower faucet. His price was really reasonable and he did a fantastic job. Muhammad is the first person I will call if i have any plumbing issues in the future.

Donzelle responded quickly to my need and performed quality work! I was in a bind after selling my condo and needed emergent repairs to my kitchen and laundry room. We scheduled my repairs (leaking drain and supply lines) within a day's notice and he got the job done! He was transparent and honest in his assessment, helped me with the billing as much as he could, and gave very fair value. Everything was documented in the invoice and text. Highly recommend his services! Thanks again Donzelle.

This a business that I would highly recommend. I have used this business for several of my plumbing needs. The response time was remarkable. When they showed up, they were prompt, knowledge and gave real time estimates for the completion of the work. Having contractors show up with a positive attitude and a willingness to complete a job with leaving no question unanswered is very important to me. I have always been satisfied with the work completed. Finding a reliable company to complete jobs can be difficult but when you find one, you treat it as gold, and DJ's pluming is that company that a value :o) You won't be disappointed.

This company is so awesome! I own a home in Alexandria, VA but live in hawaii. So when my tenants had a few issues with broken doors, and old faucets, Richard responded within minutes and trended to these issues within a day! He is efficient, quick, easy to contact and pay and affordable. Great company!

OUTSTANDING service....10 stars! Fast response times with quotes that were lower than most. I requested a quote via Yelp while waiting for another service to arrive, which I had contacted 2 days prior. Not only did he respond within 15 minutes with a lower quote, he arrived to do the work within 3 hours of the request (which I selected ASAP). Great job communicating with updates on appointment time and his estimated arrival time. Work was done in record time, and there was no mess to clean up.

Really fast and responsive local company. When we had our bathroom tile redone, Champion sent two techs on the same day to help reinstall our toilets. They were skilled, quick, friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended.

Kirk is the best! I have called on him for the past 10 years. He has worked on my old home and replaced and repaired all the plumbing needs. He is honest, has fair prices, and completes the job correctly!

Bill has a very nice personality and that's why I'll give him two stars, but unfortunately he's unprofessional. I called him for a major problem which was a leaking toilet in my living room bathroom. He tightened a nob under the toilet and assured me that would stop the leaking but if it persisted after he left, he would come back and fix it. The very next day the leaking started again. I called Bill over a period of 2 days, left messages, spoke with his secretary and she said he would call...but he never did. I am extremely disappointed. Not only did I pay him for work that he did not see through, but my toilet is still leaking. I would never seek B&C services again, nor would recommend the company to anyone.

Carlos Reed came out for the spring HVAC tune-up. He came on time, did a thorough and efficient inspection, communicated well throughout the process, including setting the expectations. He quickly identified and described the issue, as well as noted what prior maintenance had likely been done and explained why that was a temporary and inefficient solution.
He presented the options to fix the issue in detail and the pros and cons of each. I appreciated his professionalism and thoughtful recommendations.

Unfortunately because of a mix up from one of Snells representatives I was unable to use their plumbing services. However, a member of their team called me the next day and also provided me with a future credit for a plumbing service. I was impressed by this quick response. It shows Snell cares about their clients.

I am a native Washingtonian, and my family previously had used and liked Thomas E Clark for over 20 years. In particular, the technician named Jason is stellar.
Their admin staff and scheduling has recently gone through the tubes, and they are not worth the hassle. I recently placed multiple calls, emails, etc both during office hours and during off hours over a four week period to request an appointment with Jason. In spite of spending a lot of time repeating the story and my request, they failed to ever contact me. The people who pick up the phone fail to identify themselves, but are actually dispatchers who are utterly clueless and inept.
A couple of weeks ago, and only after voicing my complaints, the dispatchers finally put me directly through the HVAC dept, and they scheduled an appointment with me between 8-9 AM this morning this AM. He failed to show up, and after multiple wait times with the dispatcher and my members of the HVAC staff, I ultimately spoke with an exceptionally unprofessional rude person by the name of Mike Hartmann. He is rude, horrible, and terrible. As a result, I will never even bother with Thomas E Clark in the future.
