Best Water Heater Installation in Washington DC
Professional, knowledgeable, timely, and efficient. Had a leaky faucet that dribbled down under the sink and soaked the drywall ceiling below. They installed a faucet we had purchased elsewhere, replaced the water supply hoses, and ensured no more leakage. Will call them again for our plumbing needs.

I've used this company twice now for my rental property in VA and they were excellent both times. They were prompt in responding to my initial service calls, worked with my tenants to coordinate appointment times, and resolved both issues for a reasonable price. It's a big relief to have a go-to company to call when I'm out of state and my tenants report issues.

Adam and Sean know their stuff and work hard to make things right. Our A/C went out at the start of summer and they came out to fix it. Wasn't a cheap fix but two months in it broke again in a different spot. They spent numerous hours and multiple trips back to our house to get it right. These guys are responsive and take ownership of their work. Hard to find these days. We'll definitely recommend them to others.

Quick and accommodating. Recognized issues and new how to resolve them. Great value.

Can't say enough good things about the work Carlton did. He was honest and meticulous and very careful to make sure the job got done right. It could have turned into a much bigger job but he took a very patient and conservative approach and got it done with the least amount of impact on the house. I'll use him again for sure.

Responsive and clear communication, professional service, competitive pricing. They installed 2 new toilets, removed the old ones removed, fixed a gasket on my dryer, and adjusted the tub drain. Great experience and highly recommend.

Stay away! This project has caused us nothing but stress and work!
We were given a time estimate of 3 days for replacing the ceiling on our main level and installing 8 recessed lights. When we noticed that workers did not make use of any tarp or drop cloths, or care when working in our home, we were annoyed. When the work took 5 full days instead of 3 we were frustrated but understood. Sometimes something turns out to be more work than initially thought - it happens. We were so desperate to get our home back that we even ended up helping the workers paint & clean, just so we could start the process of moving back upstairs into our main level.
When we fully inspected the work the next day in daylight we realized that it was a mess! The ceiling was uneven, full of dents and craters. The work around the recessed lights was messy and just plain ugly. Our hardwood floor was still covered in paint, some of the baseboards damaged and a wooden beam dividing our living space, covered in paint and scratched.
I mentioned all our concerns to Clay when he stopped by a few days later to change out some light switches. He ensured me everything would be taken care of and fixed. We agreed Gabriel, his worker who did the majority of the work, would stop by the following weekend to fix any spots that needed more work.
Gabriel did in fact stop by 2 more times, again plastering, sanding and painting without the use of any tarp or drop cloths (we provided our own this time but paint still got on our rugs and floors). In an attempt to fix some of the damaged spots on our wall he used our wall paint we had sitting on the counter, which was glossy paint for the kitchen, on our living room walls which used matte paint. Leaving us the having to repaint the entire living room. The ceiling was still uneven, a light fixture in our hallway covered in paint, and the recess lighting still messy. Our house was yet again completely covered in dust, paint and plaster and we were still living in our basement.
After 5 full days of work and 2 extra evening visits, we were still extremely unhappy with the work and the care (or lack thereof) taken in our home.
I contacted Clay and told him that we were very frustrated mostly as an FYI but also declined having Gabriel come to our home again since we already knew it would end up in more damage than progress. We decided to fix any issues ourself since we just wanted our home back. Clay apparently took this as an opportunity to reveal his anger issues and accused us of not paying (I personally paid the amount in full 1 week prior with him standing across the room) and threatened to put a lien on our home and that we would hear from his attorney. He then said that it was not fair to complain without giving him the chance to fix any outstanding issues with their work. But after 7 days of work when 3 days were promised, we felt we had given more than a fair chance to make things right.
Overall a bad experience with this company. We had been very accommodating with the work taking much longer than promised, the mess in our home and paid in full before work was finished.
Unprofessional, rude, careless and no attention to detail. Will definitely never use again or recommend to anyone. Stay away!

Very quick response and able to come that same night after finishing up another job over 1 hour away. Very reasonably priced and honest. Will use him for future jobs and highly recommend him!

Received four quotes for three major home projects: A complete master bathroom remodel, a new deck, and replacement of a drop ceiling with sheetrock and repair of a water-damaged wall in a guest bedroom.
The first three quotes were from high end remodelers. A friend recommended Allen Geoffrey's Handyman Services to us (she had just had her bathroom remodeled). Geoff and his crew (Mark and Brian) came out to survey the jobs. They spent more time with me going over what work we wanted and what our major concerns were. They suggested a comprehensive plan of attack from top to bottom. We were consulted at every step of each of the projects to ensure that our expectations and design elements were incorporated.
Their price quote came in thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars less than the three previous quotes. While they don't provide the design assistance of the high end contractors, they met us at a big box contractor store and helped us color-coordinate our design interests. They took care of ordering all the various pieces parts needed and got us a significant discount on materials.
First, they replaced the deck to install flashing (that the previous home owner neglected to do), that led to the water damage in the guest bedroom. The deck was brought up to code and revealed serious problems with the previous deck installation.
After the deck was done, the crew split off into two teams, one working on the master bathroom, the other, working on the guest bedroom.
The crew took care of hauling off all old materials and cleaned up after each day. The work was first-rate.
As with any major home project, unexpected/unforeseen problems arise. While removing the water-damaged sheetrock in the guest bedroom, major water damage was discovered to the exterior wall. Geoff gave me a very reasonable labor estimate to repair the wall. That wall is now the strongest in the house.
They show up when expected, every day, until the job is done. They go beyond what is expected to ensure that the client is happy with the direction the project is headed.
I highly recommend these master plumbers. I guess my highest endorsement is that, when our kitchen cabinets come in, Geoff and his crew will be doing our complete kitchen remodel (again, coming in thousands of dollars less than the high-end contractors). If you need any work done to your home, give them a call. They will not disappoint you.
And, Geoff, Mark, & Brian, our new master bathroom looks and functions beyond our expectations. Thank you!

For years I struggled with buying bottle water and it was always a pain carrying the cases of water in the house. Drain Works installed a reverse osmosis filter system in my house. The technician informed me that this is the same type of system hospitals and pharmacies use when preparing medications. I did my own research and the tech was %100 correct. My whole family now drinks more water and there is no more lifting heavy cases or having plastic bottles sitting around until recycling day. Thank you Drain Works.

Our HOA has used Sila to service our seven-unit condo for the last five years, for routine maintenance and occasional small repairs. The company has provided terrific service and we have been completely satisfied. The technicians who do the house calls are always professional and knowledgeable.
This past summer I had a flood in my condo that required removal and replacement of my entire HVAC system and the water heater, in coordination with a water mitigation service. I contacted Sila to do the job. Throughout the process, the Sila customer service team, and Leslie in particular, were wonderful. They were flexible and responsive to my scheduling needs, and made sure the work was done right. When an adjustment was needed to fix a small pipe leak, Sila came out immediately after hours to address the leak and replaced the part the next day. The HVAC system works better than ever. I am very grateful to them!
I would highly recommend Sila for anyone looking for a go-to, reliable company to take care of routine and emergency needs!

I cant say enough about the service. Being new to the area, i am always hesitant when it come to finding new services. Italo from Snell did my fall HVAC service. He was very helpful in explaining things to me, very personable. I was totally pleased with service and pricing!

These guys are great. I've used them on a few jobs doing home renovations. Most recently, I had them change out all of the sink fixtures and a few other little repairs. Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and they do a great job. Keep up the good work.

The technician came into our home and did not even acknowledge our hellos or greetings which made us feel very uncomfortable.
When it came to look at our leak he was very unsure as to how to proceed, often asking us which parts of our walls and ceiling we would like for him to cut. He moved very slowly and did not give us straight answers about the source of the leak, wavering between possibilities. Ultimately he was unsure as to the source of the leak.
He said he could not do the repair on the same day (although we had been advised this would be possible when we made the appointment) due to him not having 1/2 inch CPVC pipes in the truck, but said he could wait for someone else to join him in two hours to do a same day repair. He advised we would pay for his time waiting the two hours, at $125/hr. We politely declined.
The gentleman also took calls and was on his phone during our job.
$350 for two hours of plumbing at a glacial pace. Never again.

Hired this company for some simple toilet installations. They do what you ask and advise you on critical changes that could save you in the long term. They are pretty expensive but they will do the job correctly and efficiently. Given the shortage of skilled labor (like plumbers) since Covid 19 they are probably just doing what they need to keep talent.

We had Heil Plumbing out to investigate a water issue and also replace a toilet. They were easy and fast to schedule- I just filled out a form online, they called me, and we got an appointment scheduled in just a few days. The tech was on time and was very friendly. They did an incredibly thorough job investigating our issue and the tech was wonderful. The toilet replacement was a solid price (cheaper than a previous one we had done at the same address by a different company) and the tech did a great job and the toilet is working well. We would strongly recommend them if you're looking for a plumber in the Glen Burnie area!
