Best Toilet Installation in Washington DC
Professional prompt service as always. Third time I've used them in the last 2 years. They have kept my 13 yr old system limping along. Will have them do the replacement before winter comes.
If Matt comes to your house, you'll be well taken care of!
Fair prices as compared to larger outfits. People need to remember that you're paying them for their expertise. I've used bargain service outfits before & it's never worth the hassle.

Mr. Saleh replied right away, and was able to get in for a same day repair. Excellent work at fair prices. I will absolutely call again if we have any plumbing or gas problems.

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: I have changed my initial one star review to four. The one star was because their 24/7 emergency number wasn't working as advertised, and then because of some really terrible bill collecting tactics.
BUT, once I finally got through to someone, the actual on-site service was very good (the technician arrived when he said he would, found the problem and fixed it quickly and efficiently).
And then, in response to my complaint to them and on here, I received a very thoughtful call from a gentleman named Micheal. He not only patiently listened to my complaints, but worked with me to find some actionable measures to ensure what I experienced wouldn't be repeated for anyone else. He took my concerns seriously, acknowledged my frustrations, and repeatedly apologized for Sila not living up to its reputation in this one instance.
Every company screws up. People have bad days, or something goes wrong. I get that. So, I like to judge companies on how they make those mess ups right and how they respect me as a customer. I was very pleased with the resolution and the apology and the promise not to use intimidation tactics in the future to settle a disputed bill.
So. Based on how they fixed my furnace, and settled my issues, 4 stars. I will be giving them another chance, and hope to give them 5 stars next time I need their services.
------------
UPDATE: This is a FRAUD of service and uses possibly illegal intimidation tactics to collect bills they should have collected during service. I have not had a chance to pay my bill for the service that they *eventually* rendered (read below for initial review). I tried to pay them on site, but their technician refused to take my credit card information. They saw my Yelp review and attempted to contact me once. I believe any business can make mistakes, and I judge them based on how they fix things. So before paying my bill I wanted to be in touch with them. Cat and mouse game of phone calls ensues. I then opened up a letter today from them containing a FAKE legal document (no case citation, no attorney listing, no court listed, and no signature on this FAKE document). This is ILLEGAL and a form of intimidation. If they did submit this FAKE document, I would instruct my attorney to fight it because their statement on it contains patiently FALSE and defaming information (They claimed they were being nice and knocked $100 off the bill. THIS IS A LIE. I PAID FOR A COUPON THROUGH YELP AND UTILIZED IT. They also claim that their technician arrived on time. False. I began calling their FAKE 24/7 service line in the morning. Multiple messages left. Multiple messages left through Yelp! FINALLY got through to them several hours later in the afternoon. They also sought to intimidate me and withdraw this FACTUAL review of my miserable experience with them)

These folks are a bunch of scam artists. Used them last spring, after buying a $50 off! Coupon for $25, only to be told afterwards it wasn't valid for the service I needed. Fine. I then paid $200 for an annual maintenance plan. They checked my AC in the spring and I was told I would be called in the fall to schedule an appointment to tuneup my furnace. No call or email ever sent to me. Today, the ignition on my furnace won't turn on. I have called the supposed 24/7 emergency number and have twice been punted to voice mail. I left a voicemail over an hour ago and still no response. Since I'd like to not freeze to death, I will be using another more reliable service and also calling Better Business Bureau about this fake maintenance plan I got roped into.

I had a fairly good experience with this company yesterday. I found a leak in my HVAC Tuesday morning. After shopping around with other companies, I decided to go with this company based upon another unit owner in my building's recommendation. The cool thing about this company is that they have a comparable hourly rate to other companies, but if your problem is not a crazy bad emergency issue - for a few dollars more than it would cost to fix your problem in on visit, they can set up a service contract with you - which covers not one, but two visits. And as I have discovered, HVAC's do require annual (bi-annual is better) maintenance.
The technician who came out, Carlos, was punctual, well mannered - and explained what was going on with the unit to me in layman's terms. When I asked fora better rate, he didn't dismiss me - he put me on the phone with his manager - and we were able to come to a better agreement. For this flexibility, Thomas E. Clark will have my business for years going forward....
Honestly when it comes to contractors, its not always about what you pay - but whether you feel that you were treated fairly. I will probably upgrade my rating to 5 stars if the HVAC continues to work in good condition by the time they pay me their next visit in June.

I can definitely copy and pase the experience from a previous reviewer. I also accidentally hired them for $49 AC Tune-up. They didn't tune up anything, they just looked around and told me about all the parts that need to be replaced - I paid $49 to have them tell me my system is old, which I already know. Weirdly, many of their repair costs were exactly the same price ($500 for a refrigerant refill, $500 for a new contactor, $500 for a leak search, and so on). I definitely do not recommend their $49 AC Tune-up service, as it is just an opportunity for them into your house to recommended you to change your entire HVAC system. That said, the technician was polite, his company's pricing is not his fault. So, I also hired another company (RES Cooling & Heating which was recommend by another Yelp reviewer here) for the refrigerant refill service for a fraction of what Snell asked for. Excellent service from RES.

On February 12th, 2022, W.L. Staten sent a tech out to install a simple easy trap on my basement unit and a wet switch on my attic unit. Since that visit, my life has been turned upside down!!!
On that same day, five hours prior, I had my ducts cleaned by another company. Before the W.L. Staten tech arrived, my heat had been running successfully without any problems for five hours prior to their arrival.
When the tech arrived, he advised that the install of the easy trap and wet switch would take approximately 40 minutes in total. Almost close to two hours later, the tech was still in my attic installing the wet switch.
When I approached him to see what the problem was, he kept saying that there was something with the fan. When he advised that it was okay to turn the heat back on, all of this smoke started coming from my vents in my master bedroom. The room got instantly foggy. When I asked him what he did to my system, he said it was like that when I came, which was a lie!! Both systems were in tip top shape before the tech arrived. Prior tSmoke was NEVER coming from my vents!!!
I called back to the company and spoke to Chris, who was so incredibly rude to me and was making me feel like I did something wrong!
The next morning, February 13th, I woke up severally dizzy and have been plagued with health issues that have worsened ever since!!! The fire department and Washington Gas have been called to get to the bottom of why my HVAC is making me sick. All they can tell me is that no carbon monoxide is being emitted from the units, which I already knew from previous inspections.
As time progressed, my dizziness had turned into numbness and tingling in my head, and lower extremities. The inside of my nose, mouth, throat and tongue starts burning every time the heat kicks in. I would get sharp pains in my eyes. My legs would feel weak like they were going to give out. I've even had relatives come over from North Carolina to stay with me for a couple of days and they would start feeling sick. Every month since February, I have been in the ER plagued with these symptoms!!
I have hired 3 companies to look at my HVAC system and the final company was the ONLY company that thought to check my refrigerant levels. On 5/22 leaks were found in both units, with the attic unit being the worse.
I strongly believe both of my units were sabotaged by the W.L. Staten tech. The smoke from my vents was refrigerant that was intentionally leaked. And I have been breathing in those gases, which explains my health issues!
What is the probability of both units having a refrigerant leak at the very same time? It is no secret that the technicians at W.L. Staten work on commission which means they've got to sell something to make money!! Consumer BEWARE!

Requested quote via Yelp and received reasonable pricing next day, then booked an appointment same week. Awesome customer service and would highly recommend. I worked with Mike to have some minor PVC repair and everything was done in less than an hour. These are my go to guys for future work!

My kitchen sink clogged up on me. After paying $49 to have Len the Plumber out and getting a quote for $515 (after coupons) and declining and receiving another free quote from Roto Rooter of $689, I went with Drymount Air who quoted me $179 to come out first thing and unclog the sink.
They arrived right on time, came in with tools in hand ready to do the work. The were friendly, efficient, and successful in clearing my drain.
They charged me exactly what they quoted me and were on their way. All in all, if I were you and I had a small plumbing emergency I would steer clear of the Roto Rooters and the Len the Plumbers of this world and go with Drymount Air instead. They were excellent and I'm very happy to have a functional kitchen sink again.
Although the guys did decline to do the two days of dishes piled up in my kitchen, I think I'll still give them 5 stars.
Thanks a lot guys, great work.

Quick and accommodating. Recognized issues and new how to resolve them. Great value.

We had a backyard bib pipe that was leaking somewhere in the wall. The plumber, Khalid, was absolutely remarkable! First when requesting a direct quote, his communication was quick, and pricing was very reasonable. Moreover, he communicated with me throughout the whole experience. I was able to show him a picture of what the situation was in advance so he could come in knowing what the issue was regarding. He arrived at our hour exactly when he estimated he was going to arrive, which was perfect. He was extremely knowledgeable about my leaking pipe and was able to correct the issue better than it was before as well as educate me on what most likely had caused the issue! In order to get to the pipe some of the drywall had to be removed, which he was able to do skillfully and cleanly. Furthermore, he was able to patch my drywall back three hundred times better than what it was before.
I don't understand how this service does not have more reviews because the work that was done was absolutely phenomenal and if there was a six star I could give, I would! Service, Communication, and knowledge was A+ and I will definitely use this service again if I run into trouble with my plumbing issues.

We needed a hot water heater removed and a new one installed. Very fair, flat price for the services. Kind, knowledgeable, friendly service! I would highly recommend this business!

We needed our washing machine drain snaked and they were able to squeeze us in very quickly upon calling late on a Friday night for a Monday service. I liked that their window was only 2 hours and they sent email and text notifications. They were very professional, efficient, reasonably priced and easy to work with. We would use them again.

Muhammad got back to me quickly with a quote and promptly scheduled the time to replace a bathtub and shower faucet. His price was really reasonable and he did a fantastic job. Muhammad is the first person I will call if i have any plumbing issues in the future.

We use Heil Plumbing for all our plumbing needs. We've used them for years. We don't bother getting other estimates, because Heil Plumbing is honest and competent. You can rest assured that they will do the work well and not let you down. I would strongly suggest that you call them first and have them do your plumbing work for you.

I had an issue with my garbage disposal. After speaking with District Capital. He diagnosed my problem and gave me instructions to fix it myself over the phone, which worked. He offered to come out and take a look if I was not able to get it working. He certainly could have came over and made $300 but he did not. Unbelievable integrity. I will certainly recommend DISTRICT CAPITAL. Thank you

We are in the midst of remodeling an office space. We have plumbing fixtures that we were not going to use for the business at all. DJ came out gave us an estimate of the work we needed to be done. He was prompt and very professional. He gave us options on what we could do to save us money. Which was a bonus for us since we are a new business trying to get up and running and on a tight budget. DJ came out the next day and did an excellent job on the plumbing work that we needed done. We would definitely use him again and would recommend him to our friends and family.

Received four quotes for three major home projects: A complete master bathroom remodel, a new deck, and replacement of a drop ceiling with sheetrock and repair of a water-damaged wall in a guest bedroom.
The first three quotes were from high end remodelers. A friend recommended Allen Geoffrey's Handyman Services to us (she had just had her bathroom remodeled). Geoff and his crew (Mark and Brian) came out to survey the jobs. They spent more time with me going over what work we wanted and what our major concerns were. They suggested a comprehensive plan of attack from top to bottom. We were consulted at every step of each of the projects to ensure that our expectations and design elements were incorporated.
Their price quote came in thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars less than the three previous quotes. While they don't provide the design assistance of the high end contractors, they met us at a big box contractor store and helped us color-coordinate our design interests. They took care of ordering all the various pieces parts needed and got us a significant discount on materials.
First, they replaced the deck to install flashing (that the previous home owner neglected to do), that led to the water damage in the guest bedroom. The deck was brought up to code and revealed serious problems with the previous deck installation.
After the deck was done, the crew split off into two teams, one working on the master bathroom, the other, working on the guest bedroom.
The crew took care of hauling off all old materials and cleaned up after each day. The work was first-rate.
As with any major home project, unexpected/unforeseen problems arise. While removing the water-damaged sheetrock in the guest bedroom, major water damage was discovered to the exterior wall. Geoff gave me a very reasonable labor estimate to repair the wall. That wall is now the strongest in the house.
They show up when expected, every day, until the job is done. They go beyond what is expected to ensure that the client is happy with the direction the project is headed.
I highly recommend these master plumbers. I guess my highest endorsement is that, when our kitchen cabinets come in, Geoff and his crew will be doing our complete kitchen remodel (again, coming in thousands of dollars less than the high-end contractors). If you need any work done to your home, give them a call. They will not disappoint you.
And, Geoff, Mark, & Brian, our new master bathroom looks and functions beyond our expectations. Thank you!

We recently moved into a new home and had several plumbing related maintenance and repair issues to address. Sandy from Drainworks patiently walked through all of them and suggested what needed to be done, and followed up several times between visits to ask more questions as he was researching how to fix a shower faucet. He fixed two toilets, a garbage disposal and installed a water filter system. Always on time and friendly!
