Bill from B&C is a hero, and he should be the plumber you keep on speed dial. (He is for me!) He gets the job done quickly and professionally, with a guarantee, answers all your questions, and prioritizes making sure his customers are satisfied.
At the height of early pandemic fears, when my kitchen sink started leaking and dishwasher stopped working due to a leak, I found B&C online and called them (Bill) on the weekend. Despite it being the weekend, Bill talked me through possible problems and options, and kindly answered all my (far too many) questions, despite it being his day off. He scheduled me for the next day. Bill arrived on time, and was very careful to use a mask, gloves, and maintain social distance given the coronavirus risks. He then worked through three different fixes, and charged me a very reasonable price (and explained options to save $$$) with a guarantee on the plumbing work. Everything worked great!
But then...a month later the dishwasher stopped working again (it's a bad dishwasher). I called Bill. Even though we were pretty sure the problem was not a plumbing issue but internal to the dishwasher, Bill still came back to reassess and double check that it wasn't a problem with his earlier work. Bill took the whole dishwasher apart (again), found that the plumbing was fine, but that there was a faulty issue with the dishwasher. I half expected him to stop there, since it wasn't a plumbing issue or something that would be covered by a plumbing guarantee; that would have been fair, but I would still be without a functional dishwasher. Instead, Bill took the extra minutes to solve this faulty issue anyway! And afterward, he also helped me navigate smaller issues in the house (sink not draining perfectly, etc.) and explained to me how to better maintain kitchen and bathroom pipes. As it was a follow up visit from his earlier work, he didn't charge me at all for this.
An average plumber would have said not my problem and left. But Bill is not that guy; B&C is not that company.
I also really appreciated not only that Bill from B&C gets the job done efficiently and professionally but also that he prioritizes customer service, taking time to explain the problems, options, and also what not to do.
Stop looking at reviews and just give them a call already.

Had these guys come out to quote some work. They seemed interested in the job when here, seemed invested, but we can't get past the bitchy secretary from hell. She is awful to work with and we've lost interest entirely in working with them.

Repaired water main leak in Sept. The contractor overcharged for the job, proposed additional $8800 repair that proved not needed, and almost flooded my basement.
1) Overcharge: There is a water main leak under HVAC. Jay estimated to cost $4500 to repair the leak and I was told it was a one-day job. I agreed. I though it is a big job for a $4500 job. The next day, only one technician came to do the job. They charge more than $4000 a day (parts cost less than $500).
2) Almost flood basement because of incompetent of technician: The technician replaced a segment of the pipe. But there was leak at the connection. It needs to reconnect. However, the technician forgot to turn off the main water. Water flooded part of the basement. Technician rushed to turn of the main water that is more than 200 ft away from the house. The damage was limited because the basement area was not finished.
3) Propose a $8800 repair for a problem that is not existed. While the trench was full of water because of the flooding. The technician claimed that there are more leaks somewhere upstream of the repaired location. Jay demanded that I must pay the $4500 because they repaired leak around HVAC even though the job still not completed (trench was not backfill, water pressure was low) and ask for additional $8800 to replace main water line. After technician was left, I scooped out all the water from the trench and absorbed all the remaining water using a sponge. It was a Friday. Over the two days weekend, no more leaks from upstream pipe and the trench were dry. I later refilled the trench myself and there was. No more leaks after another month. The Drain Guys propose a $8800 repair for a problem that is not existed. It is either incompetent or fraud.
In summary, The contractor charged more than $4000 for one technician for one day, proposed additional $8800 repair that proved not needed, and almost flooded my basement. I give a 2 start because they did fix the leak around HVAC.

I actually haven't gotten the job done yet since I only just had Shawn Doss come out to give me a quote on getting gasline brought up to my kitchen. But I really like that Shawn took his time to explain the job to me on gasline installation and on the issue of my water heater when I asked him about it. He's so straight forward about pricing and offer different way he can run the gasline so I can keep cost low. He is also very nice and polite and I really like that he wasn't trying to sell me additional services like another contractor did. So as far as my first appointment goes, five stars to Shawn for his service.

UPDATE: The company called back and delivered great customer service. They apologized for the misunderstanding. We were supposed to only be charged the service fee of $75 (completely reasonable), not the $160 hourly rate. I appreciate them reaching back out. If we need the work done after all, we will definitely consider hiring them for the job. It takes a lot to admit to a mistake and I commend them for taking action.
ORIGINAL: I called them due to a plumbing emergency to see what was wrong. At first they were great, sending someone ASAP to check it out (much appreciated). And the tech they sent was very helpful. My husband wanted to be able to see the problem for himself before deciding to spend $385 to fix it as that's a large sum to drop unexpectedly. So we were going to call them back after he had a chance to inspect and we could talk about the options. But the tech's boss told him to charge me the full $160 (hourly rate) for a visit that lasted less than 5 minutes. I've never had an encounter like this. And we decided we won't be having them back to fix the problem. I appreciate their timeliness, but no one told me what (or even if) I would be charged for the service visit until after the tech inspected the problem. $160 is a large sum for 2 minutes when a previous plumber came out for a different issue and charged only $75.

He was great! Knowledgeable, and a fair price. Will use again. A nice local guys. He viewed our sewer line for roots before new driveway was put in. Also, cleared the line and gave good suggestions.

I called Ibrahim today with a small sink issue. He asked me where I was located and was to my house literally within 10 minutes - and fixed the problem within another 5. He was courteous, kind, and I plan to call him with all of my future plumbing needs! Thank you, Ibrahim!

Burst pipe happened near midnight the night before and by 9am David was onsite to assess our options. Got us a temporary fix so we could keep water through the house then first thing the next morning he was onsite with supplies. Him and his team rerouted a pipe away from the exterior brick to prevent another freeze issue down the road. Work completed this morning and you can't even tell that anything ever happened. Great work and a seamless process.

My shower and faucet would not turn off this morning! I called another plumbing company, but they did not have a plumber available until the next day. I am so glad to have found Elite Plumbing and Home Services. They were pleasant and professional from start to finish. They arrived when they said they would. Price was reasonable. Highly recommend and would re-use service.

Competent/reliable, reasonably priced, professional, responsible. We had a pipe leak in a ceiling above the kitchen and beneath a bathroom. I was imagining the worst. It took only about 30 minutes for the plumber Kirby to find the leak, repair it and depart. I was amazed and pleased with the very reasonable price. Most other plumbers try to sell services one doesn't need. It was a very good experience and I'd recommend them without hesitation.

I needed a newly purchased garbage disposal installed and contacted Zapata's HVAC.
Pablo, the owner, showed up at my house within an hour and had it up and running in 20 minutes.
He explained that HVAC is not his only field of expertise. He also does plumbing and electrical work.
Due to his promptness, efficiency, friendliness and very reasonable rate, I've already made arrangements for him to complete a few other jobs that are not in my comfort zone.
He will be back to replace all of our bathroom and kitchen faucets, as well as our toilet(s) guts and feed-lines. He's also working up an estimate to replace our gas furnace and rooftop AC unit.
Give this fine, young man a call. You will not be disappointed.

I started using Roto-Rooter for my plumbing needs in my condo (replacing water lines and valves, fixing toilets, replacing faucets, etc.) many years ago. So far no complaints.

They came out promptly, assessed the leak (it was behind the wall, and made the necessary repairs. Also, they had another gentleman come over and repair the wall to like new condition. Good people.

Could not have had better service. Drew came out, fixed a drainage issue and then proceeded to spend an extra 15 minutes helping me with a malfunctioning house filtration system. He went above and beyond with coustomer service. Highly recommend them!

This service provider has gone downhill in a big hurry. I've been using them for a good many years but no more. Several months ago I agreed to a service and they simply never showed up. Again, I called with a simple question prior to booking the service and never got a return phone call from the rep who didn't have the answer and was to call back. They're making a staement here and it is that they don't need your business.

This review of Real Plumbers does not reflect their technical proficiency, but rather their poor customer service (although I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the former is also far from stellar).
We called the company to fix a leaky kitchen faucet after relying on a review from Best Pick Reports Washington, DC; a publication received for free in the mail (that mistake is on me). Real Plumbers agreed to come out the next day between 10am and 2pm, a reasonable time frame, and would charge $89 for a service call; also reasonable.
The next day, the window for the plumber's arrival closed without a peep from the company, nor the plumber. After calling the company, they informed us he was running behind schedule and would be at our house soon. When we asked the company if we should reschedule, they told us not to do so and that the plumber would arrive shortly. That shortly was 90 minutes.
The plumber arrived, looked at the leaky faucet, and told us that it would cost approximately $300 to fix. He could not fix it then and there because he did not have the part on this truck and it was too late to get the needed stem. Here's the great part...he'd also have to charge us another $89 for a service call to come out the next day and install the stem. We were dumbfounded. Where is the professionalism? He arrives and hour and a half late and still wants to charge us for a service call the next day? What? The $89 is more important than the work? When we protested, the plumber did not seem bothered, but reminded us that he needed to recoup the costs for , You know, gas. There are better plumbers out there. They got their $89, we still have a leaky kitchen faucet. Stay away from these shysters.

Wow, not the best reviews. Needed them for a last minute fix. I guess they smelled blood in the water and were going for the kill. Quoted $1,175 plus the $89 to diagnose. Too rich for my blood. Got a second opinion, work was completed for $110 all in. I do not recommend.
