I found All American Jetting & Drain Services via Nextdoor (rave review), so I had to try them for my house.  Given the old pipes I was hoping for a fix that did not require a new bathroom!  What amazing service - - from the free estimate, great conversation about options, then a plan.  Wonderful service and I can't say enough great things!!!  No new bathroom and my shower drain has not worked this well ever!!  Well done and I highly recommend!!!

Excellent Service!  I live in an older home in an area known for sewer drain issues.  I contacted All American to get a video inspection to determine if/when I would need to replace my line. The office team that I spoke with to schedule was super pleasant, explained the process and price, then set up the appt to occur within just a few days.  The office called me that morning to confirm the techs were on their way.  John and Andy arrived on time and were so professional and pleasant.  They explained the process to me and went right to work!  The inspection was done in less than an hour and lucky for me it was good news!  Thanks All American for the great service!

We own a restaurant did two different companies all failed with the snake recommended me to go with all American jetting and have nothing but positive to say about them nice informative and straight to the point I would say within an hour and a half of the explaining and the job itself. After a week of moving into a new house, we started getting a sink backup that left our kitchen useless. We brought in a plumber who snaked it, but after no improvement he recommended we get hydro jetting at a huge expense.

Instead, we called All American. Evelyn was fantastic on the phone. They sent a two-man crew. After a thorough diagnosis, they said they were confident they could snake the problem instead of jetting.

They didn't just run the snake, they worked the pipes with it until they cleared a huge clog. The sink runs perfectly! No jetting needed. Their skill saved us $600.

Great crew, very respectful, transparent, and wore thorough PPE.

I hope we don't have to call them again, but they're my go to now if we get a clog elsewhere.

Lukas and partner were very knowledgeable about our outside drain problem and where able to fix it right then. They were courteous and polite throughout the process. I liked that they didn't try to sell upon the current repair. We will use them again for all our drainage needs.

Luke and his team arrived on time and treated me very professionally. They were able to access the two area drains and give me insight on what needed to be done and how much it would cost eventhough I was not there at the time. Their communication made it seem like that was no trouble at all for them. Although, I have not made my final decision on wanting to complete the job, I know he and his team will do an excellent job completing it.

Good guys.  Alfie and his assistant Pablo came out on a Sunday to help diagnose underground drainage issues at my house.  They took their time and did a very thorough job, locating multiple issues using an underground camera and resolving blockages by hydrojetting the pipes and excavating the blocked  daylights.  Very satisfied.  Cheers to the weekend crew.

All-American Jetting and Drain descaled my sewer from my home all the way to the county pipe for about half of what Roto-Rooter quoted. That was a savings of over $2000! Not to mention that everyone at All American is friendly, helpful, and polite from the first phone call to the final sign off. Roto-Rooter on the hand was dismissive, argumentative, and even rude. We were lucky to have All American as a choice and happy to have found them.

Had a main sewer backup and called them up at 7am and they came out at 10:15am.  The operator was very thorough and prompt.   The techs I must say were simply outstanding, in that they were efficient, thorough and payed attention to detail and frankly skilled at their trade.  Kept me abreast through the scoping and hydro jet process as they cleaned and evaluated the main line.  My tech was Junior and he is a real professional and knows his trade.  

I primarily used them as I didn't want an ordinary plumber but rather a specialist whom could provide me options and understand main sewer line cleaning.   Highly recommend if you are the picky type and like things done right.  They charge fairly, not cheap but not expensive.

Issue: sewage line clogged.

Have been using All American Jetting couple times for residential homes (main sewage drain clogged). Techs are nice, knowledgeable, and know what they do. Price is affordable, not super expensive. PLUS point is that they come next day and willing to give you little discount if asked. Well! few bucks counts!!

I have now used All American Plumbing (AAP) five times, both at my residence and my rental property. Honestly, AAP are the most professional plumbers I have used. Recently, as of 6/16/2017, I had AAP come out to my rental unit to address an AC leak. AAP snaked the line and it seems to have fixed the issue. After this, I had planned to install a condensation line trap. However, when Nick arrived today, he assessed the situation and recommended that I have the AC unit serviced before installing the trap. I ask you, what other plumbing company would do that. Rather than taking advantage of my naivety, he proposed the next logical step in what would be a corrective action plane to address the leaking of AC condensation.

I can promise you, that if you live in NOVA and own 30 year old, or older residences, you should heed my warning; there are plenty of plumbers in NOVA that are fly-by-night, and I found this out through costly experiences.  AAP is upfront, they arrive at there posted time via email to you, they discuss every aspect of the job with you, and the make certain that you are fully engaged in the process.

If you live in NOVA and have a life ling plumber that you use, that's great. If you are new to NOVA, are a professional / military transient family and you need a plumber you can trust, call All American Plumbing.

All American Jetting was great.  I called and they were at my house within a few hours, during the snow.  The techs diagnosed the problem and resolved within 1 hour.  They used a camera to show me what they had done along with a full explanation.  Overall, very professional and knowledgeable.  I highly recommend them.

All American is one of the best, most competent companies I have had the privilege of working with along with having outstanding customer service.  I have used them several times on several different occasions to jet backed-up sewage lines and they have always come through and resolved the issue expertly.   They are very quick to respond to emergency calls as well.  

I do not know what I would do without their help and expertise.

It has been a tough week (long story) but All American made my week a little brighter.  They came out the very next morning, calling 30 minutes ahead, and by 10am they were done.  Drain is running again and I will definitely be more aware to buy toilet paper that breaks up better in the future.  Thank you for your professionalism and courtesy.

I had a massive drain stoppage. I contacted a big box plumber cause they said they would be right out. I really appreciated that as I felt my problem was important. I had sewage all over my basement and needed help. The sent a letter to plumber who quoted me a Price to snake my main line and that price was over $900.00. Do not get taken by the big box places. I sent them away.

I then did my research and found All American. I cannot express enough the relief I got when they got to my home. They offered me a jet job to clear my drain line. It included a free camera and the statement that if there were problems that would cause additional problems in my pipe that they can fix them. For $700.00 they jetted my drain. That machine is impressive and it took 2 hours. They got my sewer to drain. Thank God. Then they videoed my sewer. It was broken and full of roots.  Much to my dismay.

They sent their sewer expert in and he did a re-video to determine what solutions could be done. I had two sections of roots in my drain and my house is 60 years old. The technician offered a pipeburst to replace my sewer approximately 45 feet long. I listened and received the cost. $9558.00. Which I thought was crazy. I thanked them and sent them on their way. They could not have been more professional.

I then called four other companies. Two of them were your super advertisers and two were normal plumbers. The big guys wanted 15k+. The other guys were close but were not nearly as professional.

I knew then that I had made the correct choice. I called All American back and scheduled the work. They did exactly what they said they would do. They even set expectations that I had not thought of. They sent me videos via email of the technology and the work plan. The job went flawlessly.

These guys are great.  Don't panic in a sewer emergency. I recommend All American. They will treat you as you expect.

Ok, to start with you really need to figure out if you have a plumbing issue or a drainage issue. Unfortunately I didn't really know the difference and ended up paying for it. In the end, I got quite an education in drainage vs plumbing issues.

I had gross water backing up into the shower in my basement, which is an indicator your problem is a main drain. I called O'Neill's Plumbing and told them I needed my drain snaked. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that snaking a drain today is like using a rock as a hammer... it is outdated and not very effective.

O'Neill came out and did everything they said they would, which is why I gave them 2 stars. He charged me $750 for the snake visit and an additional $250 because he had to remove my toilet (my house doesn't have a clean out). So be it (I was given a $50 discount because of military service, which was appreciated.). Unfortunately, O'Neill didn't have enough snake length to clean out all the way to the sewage dump out. Instead of just saying that he couldn't make it all the way to the end, he told me that I had roots and a break in my drainage pipe. He then went on to provide me with a quote for $10,000 to dig up my cast iron drain pipe.

I started calling some family members to ask questions about drain issues and my brother in law told me about hydrojetting. After discussion with my wife, we decided to pay an additional $699 to have All American Drain Service come out and hydrojet my main drain rather than paying $10,000 to get my yard dug up.

For starters, with the hydrojet, there was no need to remove the toilet even though I didn't have a clean out. They were able to insert it into the main drain pipe through the roof vent. Secondly, the camera that All American used was 10x better than O'Neill's camera. You couldn't make anything out with O'Neill's camera, whereas you could see every detail of the pipe with All American's camera. I was told it is because O'Neill's camera was cheap and the hydrojet one cost around $10,000. The hydrojet people were able to punch through the clog in literally 5 minutes. Then they did a very thorough cleaning of the drain and used the top notch camera to thoroughly inspect the entire pipeline... NO BREAKS, NO ROOTS.

All American was awesome. I felt like Ricky really went the extra mile to make sure my drain was clean. He also had all kinds of good pointers and advice. I will use this company again!

So my lesson learned... inside the house clogs, snaking may be the way to go but for drainage issues, don't mess around with the snake, go straight to the hydrojet.

Once again, All American did an excellent job. CJ was timely, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Will definitely use them again whenever the need arises!

From the first phone call to the timely completion of my problem, I was impressed with All American. They were able to get to me within two business days (non-emergency). They called for a reminder. They called with an update to my time window. Then the plumber himself, CJ, called to review my problem and discuss options along with how much each option would cost as I was not available at the rental house. He fixed it in less than an hour, provided me with a detailed explanation and photos via email, and I was then contacted to make my payment over the phone. It was very helpful for me being a landlord!!!

We just had All American Plumbers come by to replace our pressure tank (well system) and the technician CJ was AWESOME! Very professional, knowledgeable and personable. He finished the work, and performed quality assurance checks on the water system to ensure the pressure system worked properly before departing. This was our first time using this company and we were very pleased. We highly recommend CJ!!! Thank you!!!

It is rare that you find a company that is as professional, fast, communicative and polite as this one! We needed our drains checked quickly due to a bad contractor dumping drywall and grout water down our drains. All American came out the next day, within the time they promised, gave us the 20 minute time notice and performed the work quickly. They were able to clear one drain within minutes and then did the camera inspection of the remainder of the plumbing. The power washing they use 'cleared' the pipes! The technicians were polite, clean, fast and transparent in their communication. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Good work!!

I actually haven't gotten the job done yet since I only just had Shawn Doss come out to give me a quote on getting gasline brought up to my kitchen.  But I really like that Shawn took his time to explain the job to me on gasline installation and on the issue of my water heater when I asked him about it. He's so straight forward about pricing and offer different way he can run the gasline so I can keep cost low.  He is also very nice and polite and I really like that he wasn't trying to sell me additional services like another contractor did.  So as far as my first appointment goes, five stars to Shawn for his service.

Shawn came to my house on time and was friendly and professional. I thought we might have a major problem with our plumbing because we had water leaking in to our basement and didn't know where it was coming from. I thought we were in for some costly repairs. He easily diagnosed the problem we were having and was completely honest about what was actually happening. He let us know that it was actually a simple problem and could easily be repaired without spending a lot of money. I know nothing about plumbing problems and he could have easily taken advantage of that - but he didnt.

I highly recommend Shawn and All American Plumbers. I had a great experience with them and think you will too.

Hello Yelpers. My review may not be as useful as others because some time has passed since the service call, I've forgotten the names of the technicians. What I can recall, however, is that the guys arrived on time (9:00am for a 9:00-11:00 arrival window), were extremely knowledgeable, and personable to boot. It's always awkward when a service tech can't, or won't engage in any small talk. I was determined to stick to my limited budget, and get a simple snaking of my kitchen sink drain, but the tech recommended the hydro-jet service after assessing the video images of my drain, and struggling to get the snake far enough down the line. What's cool is that he wasn't pushy about the more expensive service option, which actually encouraged me to agree to the better long-term, hydro-jet option. The cherry on top was only being charged 60% of the hydro-jet price I was originally quoted. Considering the fact that I actually received a Snaking and Hydro-jet service, the cost was pretty phenomenal. Water is flowing nicely down my kitchen drain, and I honestly have no regrets about the service call. I'd recommend All American Jetting to anyone with a clogged drain.

TJ did a great job providing quick and timely assessment of the issue with my water heater.  Unlike several other plumbers I contacted, All American Plumbers was easy to reach, schedule, and obtain a quote from.  Not only that, they were able to fit me in a day earlier when something opened up - much appreciated!

WARNING: DO NOT USE ALL AMERICAN  WITHOUT GETTING A SECOND QUOTE

I foolishly agreed to a contract from slick talking Ricky Salina to replace 10 feet of corroded cast iron pipe with PVC pipe that leads to our septic tank.  For this they charged $6,950 before applying an Angies list discount, a senior discount and a sewer cleaning discount to bring the net cost down to $4,997.

To do the job, they had two workmen on the site for one day from 10 AM to 6 PM (less 1 -2 hours for lunch). No heavy equipment was required beyond the use of a septic tank cleaning service (cost about $3-400).

If you read Angies List for similar jobs done by All American, you will see that the price should have been about half what I was charged.  Shame on me for authorizing the work to be done without getting another quote.

Did I really get a discount for being an Angies List subscriber, senior citizen or having used them for prior service or did they start with $4,997 and work back upstream to the higher figure? Whatever way they calculated, the cost of two workmen for a day and a septic service does not come anywhere near what I was charged.

I feel that I was taken advantage of in a way that no reputable service provider would have done.

Lessons learned:
1. Find out how many men and what equipment will be required to do it and how long it will take.  If the work goes faster than plan or problems are uncovered, how will this be addressed?
2. Get a second or third bid, even if it means inconveniencing yourself for a couple of days. It could save you a lot of money.
3. Find someone other than All American  to do the job.

I called another plumber to fix a broken sewer pipe at a rental property.  They gave me a quote, and we signed a contract for the work to be done.  When they came to do the work, they told me it would be another $4,000 to do the work -- AFTER we had a signed contract.  They said there were more issues than they first anticipated.  

I then called All American for a second opinion.  They came out, gave me a detailed description of the work they would do, and said they would do it for the price originally quoted by the other plumber.  They even gave me a 10% landlord discount!  

They were very professional and did the work with as little disruption as possible.  I would definitely recommend All American!!

Hard to give 5 star when it cost so much to repair a sewage line. We've known for some time that we needed to repair our main line and it would be costly. These guy came recommended from two sources. Out of 5 companies to look at our project, they were the cheapest by about $3K. They had to dig 12'-15' to our sewage line, but the gas line laid right above it. So they had to use caution. We also had a lot of vegetation above where the pipe was and were fearful that we would love most of it.

The job took 3 days, the ground was harder than they expected, and had to wait for the county to approve the work. The crew was professional, and polite, not only to us, but our neighbors as well. (we live in a townhouse). They answered all of our questions, as they went along. When they were finished, our yard looked almost back to normal. We lost a few plans, but that was expected.

Hopefully we never need this type of service again, but glad we went with this company over the 4 previous companies that looked into it. They also provided a free estimate and none of that usual BS of. It will cost $400 to look at it, but if you go with our service, we'll refund that money.

Great (fast) service. Unplugged all our drains in our 60+ year old house. They even re-snaked one drain to make sure all was clear. All at a reasonable price.

I've got a mixed review. All American sent a plumber out to scope & hydrojet our sewer line, but he wasn't able to get into the line. He spent an hour trying to get access to it, but wasn't able to find the cleanout, and when he tried other access points -- the kitchen waste line, the toilet -- it seemed he was being a little gentle on his equipment (and said he had to pay for damage to it, himself). All told I was charged $500 for no results. I understand the idea of an opportunity cost, but I'm not happy to be out so much money and left with a clogged drain at the end of it.

This is the second time I have used All American to take care or a sewer drain problem and both times they have done a great job. Today Don and Chris were the techs on the job and were excellent in explaining what they were going to do and then very quick to get at it.  They did a thorough job and cleaned up when done. I will definitely use All American again if and when the need arises.

Real pros. Very knowledgeable and not pushy on the sale. Very good at explaining what needs to be done and why.

Over price. Tried to charge me over two hundred dollars an hour to flush/ purge a tank. Did they get a PHD in plumbing. My proctologist doesn't charge that much an hour.

Shawn Doss is the best plumber I have encountered.  He resolved a draining issue and installed a more powerful pump to adequately pump out the water from my clothes washer that was initially done on February 2, 2018 by TJ.  Shawn was thorough, careful and compassionate and did not cut any corners to do the job correctly.

Good morning,  I really enjoyed the professionalism afforded me by the technician; he answered most of my questions and explained the reason for the problem.  However, I did not like having to request a complete broke down for the estimated cost quote.  I need to have this service provided and for that reason I cannot determine if the price is too high or not.  For today, the technical service and professionalism wins my money.

John and Junior were excellent! We've been working through a persistent plumbing issue. John has consistently followed the issue to its resolution. These guys are super professional.

Busted pipe, had to turn the water off. All American called me within 5 minutes of hitting submit on HomeAdvisor and then Shawn was at the house inside an hour. Took his time, encountered more trouble and fixed it all. A great experience with a great company and plumber.

These guys are great. Spent a long time getting the sewer line unblocked and making sure everything was working right. Wouldn't do the work until they confirmed there was an issue, kept me informed through the whole process. All is well now.

Business model is dishonest. I asked by phone the cost to do a 10 minute drain snake and was told that they could not give me a price until they see the problem. Once the technician got to the house, told me it was indeed a simple hair clogged drain, he then charged me $325. That's right, almost twice what most other plumbers charge. I needed the drain cleared when they came so I paid the highly inflated cost. Snaking a drain is so basic there is no reason why this company could not give me a quote by phone; instead they used a deceptive strategy on site when a consumer would be more compelled to pay and get the problem solved. As a result, I cancelled the other appointment I made with this company to assess what would have been a more expensive plumbing job that would have brought more revenue to their company. Dishonesty and greed doesn't pay and I will not use this company again.

We had a leak in the kitchen from the faucet of our home in McLean.  We live in Michigan most of the time.  I called John and sent him a photo of the replacement faucet I wanted and sent it to him Friday night.  He had the replacement faucet next morning before 0800 and the job was completed before 0930!  The work went so smoothly that I almost am looking forward for the next breakdown!!

This service was outstanding. They came within 24 hrs of my call. The tech was professional and courteous and immediately diagnosed the problem. We were given a choice of services and everything was explained well. The service was performed quickly and exceeded our expectations. The tech also did a nice cleanup job with a few extras we did not expect. I would definitely recommend.

The field staff at All American is first-rate. The seven individuals that we met while they fixed our septic system issue were great. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, respectful, etc...They were able to diagnose our problem, rather than simply address a symptom. Yes, it cost us $6,700 to resolve the issue, but they were the first company we had to our property that didn't just merely just snaked our main line, collect their $500 and left, without notifying us that there was a greater issue. They used video to show us that something greater was wrong and quickly diagnosed the problem and proposed a solution. They worked diligently the next few days, even with wet weather, to get our septic system back up and running. They also proposed a solution that should prevent our issues from occurring any time in the near future - more than any other company we had out here every two-three years over the past 20 years. I highly recommend the professionalism of Don, Jr., Don, Sr. and David Bellovich - they are first-rate. The communication to the main office and between the main office and field staff needs to be improved - there were miscommunications that should not have occurred. But if you bear with these little missteps, the field work is very good.
