Best Pipe Installation in Washington DC
I cannot say enough about Reddick and Sons. They showed up when they said they would, offered a reasonable price and stood behind their work. Sean, Joe, Joey and Jan came out to install a mini-split. This sounds easier than it was as they installed it in my sun room to replace a gas stove. It took multiple visits to get it all set up so it worked for us, but the whole time we worked with them, they were frendly, communicative, professional and respectful of us and our house. They were as focused as we were on getting this right and in the end we did. I cannot thank them enough. To give you an example of the quality of their work. They had to take down all the signs I had on one wall. First, they did it, rather than having us do it, then they took pictures before they started so they could make sure to put everything back correctly. they even rehung the one sign that had to be moved to accomodate the new unit. I know this is a small thing, but it represents the level of detail they went to make this project happen. This was an unusual project, and they did it beautifully. If you need HVAC you should really call Reddick and Sons!

Mr. Mehran comes highly recommended. Of the companies I reached out to, he was both the most responsive and the best overall quote. I needed a garbage disposal replaced due to the previous one experiencing a significant leak. Mr. Mehran was very communicative with his availability, and was diligent in informing me of when he would be able to come by on the short notice that I provided (hard to live w/o a working sink!). He arrived on-time, was well organized, and professional. He didn't even ask me for a review, so this is coming because it is well-earned. Definitely give him a call or message for your plumbing requirements.

It's very hard to write this review after reading the other complimentary reviews. I found Sila 3 years ago through Angie's list after purchasing my house. I signed up for a seasonal maintenance package. You pay a yearly fee and they check your A/C unit and furnace before each season. The first experience was great. The AC technician went above and beyond. However, since then they routinely have emergencies or other reason to not show up when they are scheduled. Having to block out 4 hours for them to come service my unit requires me to take time off of work. But, then it's a no show. When I call them after they miss the appointment window, they apologize, but make me reschedule for weeks ahead of time. The whole day is shot. They have now done this to me twice.

Had a positive experience fixing my AC. Servicemen called on their way to say they could arrive earlier than the given window if we were available. We are in a condo building so the two servicemen went to the room to run tests on the unit. They found blown fuses and capacitor was rusting. We chose to replace them both. In addition to the work, we paid the $99 service fee. I was surprised that the service fee was not applied to work completed but what can you do? Saw in other reviews that people feel its unfair to pay $100+ for a lower priced (online) part but in my opinion you are paying for their expertise and the prompt, high-quality installation. Well worth it - happy to have it fixed!

I had my unit installed in Jan of 2020. First, they flooded my living room because they failed to shut off the fridge line and then they did not have plumbers to fix the issue. It took hours before they resolved the issue. Second, since the installation of the unit, the condensation pump had to be replaced, the system continuously shuts down, and the unit is not removing moisture from the house. This issue has been going on all year long and I have repeatedly complained and they continue to put a band-aid on the situation. I change my filters regularly, I paid to have my air ducts cleaned as they stated that was probably the issue, and nothing has worked. I have put requests for management to contact me and to no avail. This is a health matter as bacteria continues to collect in the air and my house along with everything in it smells like mildew. In addition, we have allergies to mold and mildew which makes it that much worse. I would not recommend this company as they either do not care about the customer, or the individuals they have doing the work are incompetent. I tend to believe that they don't care and are temporarily fixing the problem until my warranty runs out. That's when they'll find and fix the issue and stick me with a large bill. To clarify, only management has not been responsive. I will give the company props on their customer service and tech responsiveness to an issue, just not with resolving it.

I am searching for a new plumbing company. This company does decent work and has installed a garbage disposal and hose bib for me but they trap you with their pricing model. This is the only business I've worked with that charges a service charge for someone to come out and give a quote if you decide not to have them do the work.
This pricing strategy leaves you trapped. Do you accept their quote or waste your money paying them to leave?
The quote they gave for this hose bib replacement felt very excessive to me and I have since had the opportunity to talk with other master plumbers that would have done the work for half the cost.
It was a short and easy job but overall I felt taken advantage of by this company.

The website list (703) 486-4116 as their business phone number--it does not work. I had to call others that knew Sean Shanahan who runs the business and after calling 703-380-4882, he finally answered and said that the other advertised business phone number was no longer usable. Because he installed a new HVAC system in my TH last year with a 2-year warranty, he has yet to follow up when I called him twice over in the past week. The TH is without any heat and it had dropped below freezing this week. Now he will not answer his new phone number, as it keeps rolling over with unanswered messages.

Quick and accommodating. Recognized issues and new how to resolve them. Great value.

We had a backyard bib pipe that was leaking somewhere in the wall. The plumber, Khalid, was absolutely remarkable! First when requesting a direct quote, his communication was quick, and pricing was very reasonable. Moreover, he communicated with me throughout the whole experience. I was able to show him a picture of what the situation was in advance so he could come in knowing what the issue was regarding. He arrived at our hour exactly when he estimated he was going to arrive, which was perfect. He was extremely knowledgeable about my leaking pipe and was able to correct the issue better than it was before as well as educate me on what most likely had caused the issue! In order to get to the pipe some of the drywall had to be removed, which he was able to do skillfully and cleanly. Furthermore, he was able to patch my drywall back three hundred times better than what it was before.
I don't understand how this service does not have more reviews because the work that was done was absolutely phenomenal and if there was a six star I could give, I would! Service, Communication, and knowledge was A+ and I will definitely use this service again if I run into trouble with my plumbing issues.

For nearly 25 years, this plumber has been my first choice. Their response is fast, courteous, and the quality of workmanship excellent at reasonable prices. The owner, John, has personally supervised work at my house on several occasions. I highly recommend them.

This is my review of an area plumbing company. One of the homes I'm managing is for a friend. When they moved in, there were leaks in the pipes from the house being unrented until the owner decided what to do with it. It was late in the day and I didn't want them to be without water when they moved totally in, so I googled plumbers. They were the first one that could come out the next day.
I received a call telling me what he had found; several leaks in various places and a rusted water tank. During this call, he said he would like to rent the house. I told him it was already rented and he said that I could tell them I changed my mind and rent it to him. This was after I told him I had a signed lease and even if I didn't, I'm not the type of person to go back on my word. Against my better judgement because I loathe dishonest people, I gave the go ahead.
Next phone call I receive, he tells me that there is a leak in the tub and he will have to tear out the front of the bench that was connected to get to the tub. He stated there was no other way to get to it. Since I couldn't be there, a realtor friend of the tenants was there to let them in and answer any questions she could. She was surprised that he was on the phone most of the time and didn't start on the work (other than looking for leaks) until his buddy showed up. He had a different company logo on his shirt.
On this same phone call, he tells me that there is a mold problem in the house and no one should be renting it and he would give a recommendation for a remediation company. I told him, I would look into it myself. Funny how he goes from I want to rent this house to no one should rent it. Yeah, I trust that. Turns out there was some mold on the basement wall. It washed right off and has not returned. There was not a mold problem that would need a remediation company.
The realtor was outside, but could hear them talking. At one point, he was going over his checklist and yelled to his buddy, is the tub fixed up there. Buddy yelled back, yes, it's all done.
Tenant goes over the next day and turns on the tub and it's still leaking. I went over to see the work that had been done. In looking at the tub, the wood on the front of the tub, had 4 screws that could have been removed and then removal of the bench panel could have been removed without destroying it. They had not touched the tub leak; however, they did fix a pipe leading to the sink. He insisted that if the tub still leaked, the house would be flooded and the water would have to be turned off at the main, leaving the house with no water. I told him the water to the tub was turned off, but he said that wasn't possible.
I called and left a message for the owner to please call me, which he did right away. After telling him I was disappointed with the work that was done, I asked when he could come out and take a look. He replied that the office hours were 9 to 5. I asked if he could come out either after 7 at night or on Sunday as I wanted the tenant to be there, since he had a better idea of what was going on. In addition, I wanted the realtor there so she could tell him what happened first hand. Also, as the conversation went on, I felt he was very condensending to me and felt it might go better with a man there. He refused and would only state that the hours were 9 to 5. I said I understand that, but since he is the owner, he could work whatever hours he wanted. Nope, would not do it.
He said that the buddy that showed up was actually someone that worked for him on an as needed basis, but that he wasn't there to help his employee, he just was there.
Everything, I said to him was turned and, in so many words, felt like he was calling me a liar and that I was the one that was wrong. At this point I was very frustrated and needed to get off the phone as I was getting nowhere anyway.
I gave up on having the tenant or the realtor there and scheduled it for during the day. It was a waste of time, as he was just the same in person. Nothing his employee did was wrong, except he would tell his employee not to have his buddy come to any more jobs. After telling me I didn't pay to have the tub leak fixed, he said he could give me an estimate. I laughed and said no, there is no way I would be using his company again. He said then why am I here? Why did you call me? I said for him to look at the work his employee did and talk to him about everything. He was upset that I wasted his time. Well, he wasted my time and almost $3,000.
I debated leaving this review, but feel that his customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. The company is DB Plumbing and Drain. They have 5 star reviews, however, if you look at the 1 star reviews, it is enough to verify my complaint and the fact that they are always quick to blame others. There are so many other companies out there; I suggest you try one of those.

Donzelle responded quickly to my need and performed quality work! I was in a bind after selling my condo and needed emergent repairs to my kitchen and laundry room. We scheduled my repairs (leaking drain and supply lines) within a day's notice and he got the job done! He was transparent and honest in his assessment, helped me with the billing as much as he could, and gave very fair value. Everything was documented in the invoice and text. Highly recommend his services! Thanks again Donzelle.

He is efficient, quick, easy to contact and pay and affordable. Great company!

Drain Works installed a new gas water heater for us. The owner knows his stuff and gave honest advice which was in my best interest, not his. You can tell when someone is straight with you and Drain Works was certainly practical in their approach. I found other companies willing to do the job cheaper but when looking at their proposals they are simply buying something from Home Depot and slapping it in place. Drain Works deals with quality water heaters and the final project was well executed, with well done plumbing lines. Don't hesitate to call them and you will quickly see for yourself why I gave them 5 stars.

Fantastic small business. My mom found this company online and after a little research, I decided to try them out. I was not dissatisfied at all. Remedied my situation, made sure they cleaned up after themselves, gave me some feedback one what I should od next and there was no price gouging. Melissa was fantastic and her Husband, Kirk and son did fantastic work. I will recommend them to everyone I know. And if any future problems arise, I will be sure to call them first!
