Best Pipe Installation in Washington DC

I called Reddick and Sons to fix or diagnose an air conditioning problem. As a new home owner,  I had never used a HVAC company before. I took a chance with Yelp. There were about 15 5 star reviews..but unfortunately I should have used a company with at least 50 honest reviews.

My problem with Reddick and Sons is That first of all they were late. I was at the mercy of an HVAC company in the middle of June...so you can imagine the delima. Two tech's came out and inspected my home (3 floors) from top to bottom. Long story short they said that I needed an whole new air compressor for $4,000.00. No Not a new HVAC system, just an air compressor...$4,000.00!!! They also suggested some helpful hints as to put rocks under my AC unit and close air vents. They charged me $500 to clean the outside fan and to add freon which they knew I didn't need..

I called another company and got the real diagnosis. I had particulates in my line which was a simple fix and they charged me $250.

In addition to charging $500 they also slapped a huge Riddick & Son's promotional sticker on my HVAC unit inside and out without asking...Zero Stars if possible.

I reached out to Bob and Kur plumbing Sunday evening not expecting to hear back until Monday. They got in touch with me in a timely manner, helped me work through my options to get my plumbing issue fixed, and were able to schedule me in first thing Monday morning. Mehran was extremely professional and was able to resolve my plumbing issues right away. Would recommend Bob and Kur Plumbing.

Initially had a good experience with this company. Bought an AC tuneup and it seemed they'd exceeded expectations. However turns out the technician had fixed things that weren't broken and what he did caused my unit to freeze and unnecessarily left me without AC for 2 days with 90 degree weather. A month later my blower motor broke and though they didn't charge a service call to diagnose on account of the problems they'd caused previous month, Sila quoted $2100 to fix it. Called another company who's doing it for $1125! Do not plan to use Sila again.

I've called this place 3 times this evening, spoken to a different phone operator each time who was not able to connect me to or ask questions to the original person I spoke to. So much for a small family business.

Originally it sounded like someone would definitely be able to come out tonight, the second time I called for an update (a few hours later, she said someone would be coming out. A few minutes later I got a call back and the operator told me the cost would be more since it is after hours, but they would still come out. She said she would call me back with an ETA.

The third time I called I spoke to a woman who could not confirm if anyone would actually be able to come tonight. I explained that I was waiting for a call back with an ETA, and she explained that they don't call back, and said there was no way anyone from there called me.

So obviously, I must be crazy.

They reached out within hours of my initial review,  apologized and offered to make things right.  I understand that things happens and the fact that they reached out promptly speaks volumes of their customer service, hence the rating upgrade.

Called them with an emergency job to fix a leaking water heater (after being referred by a very highly rated plumber who was too busy).  They showed up promptly with a ready to go water heater in the truck (just in case).  Turns out that a new one was needed and we didn't have to wait on the plumber to go get one in order to finish the job.  Highly recommend and will keep on my quick dial list for future jobs.

Rapid response, immediate & accurate diagnosis of a complex issue, thorough & excellent repair, and WORLD CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE - WOW! Our technician came out on a Friday evening and was so patient with our many questions, showed us exactly how the issue had occurred and explained the repairs in language we could easily understand. The technician was friendly, COVID-appropriate, and spot on accurate with the diagnosis and repair of our complicated issue. We will ONLY use Plumb Professionals from this point forward. There were many issues with our boiler and plumbing both here and at a rental property. They worked very hard and even came back at 8 pm to finish
up.  Both Sean and Mikey are so nice to work with. Highly recommend.

My family and just returned from vacation last night to discover we had no hot water. I went through the yelp find a business and Kahlid responded within 15 mins and was able to come out to the house within 2 hours! He was able to fix the issue and we are good to go. Tommy arrived and promptly addressed who he was and the company he was with.  He was friendly, well equipped with all necessary items for the job and happy to answer all my questions.  He addressed and resolved the issue I had called about and then made some suggestions as to how we could run our homes water usage more efficiently.  Before leaving he offered to put together estimates of what the suggestions would cost and then left us with his card in the event that we chose to make some of those changes....which we will.
We will always use DBs plumbing and drain in the future, for sure.

Can't say enough good things about the work Carlton did. He was honest and meticulous and very careful to make sure the job got done right. It could have turned into a much bigger job but he took a very patient and conservative approach and got it done with the least amount of impact on the house. I'll use him again for sure.

Eric was awesome! He really saved the day for us. He came early and was finished before I new it. He made the experience painless and checked in with me regarding some design/aesthetic issues with our drain. I will definitely use Heil again!!

Drain Works is definitely a company I would recommend and use again. I called Jorge to get my gas fireplace working again after not using it for 3 years. He arrived on time which is a big plus in my book. He was able to diagnose the problem and even discovered a function of the fire place I had no idea about. He didn't have a particular part and went out to a local hardware store to pick it up.  He and his assistant were able to repair it fast and efficient. Couldn't be happier.

Kirk is the best! I have called on him for the past 10 years. He has worked on my old home and replaced and repaired all the plumbing needs. He is honest, has fair prices, and completes the job correctly!
