Best HVAC System Repair in Washington DC
We we're selling our house and needed to get a number of repairs done. Extremely professional and did a great job. Not the cheapest company but I prefer not to skimp on things that will cost you more in the long run if not done correctly. In this case I wanted to do the right thing for the people who were buying the home from us. If your looking for a great company who operates with integrity, look no further. Highly recommend using Reddick and sons!

Very responsive, quick diagnosis and fix! They were happy to explain what they were doing, answer questions and were knowledgeable. Had the part I needed on their truck and got my A/C working again. Would recommend them to all!

Received four quotes for three major home projects: A complete master bathroom remodel, a new deck, and replacement of a drop ceiling with sheetrock and repair of a water-damaged wall in a guest bedroom.
The first three quotes were from high end remodelers. A friend recommended Allen Geoffrey's Handyman Services to us (she had just had her bathroom remodeled). Geoff and his crew (Mark and Brian) came out to survey the jobs. They spent more time with me going over what work we wanted and what our major concerns were. They suggested a comprehensive plan of attack from top to bottom. We were consulted at every step of each of the projects to ensure that our expectations and design elements were incorporated.
Their price quote came in thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars less than the three previous quotes. While they don't provide the design assistance of the high end contractors, they met us at a big box contractor store and helped us color-coordinate our design interests. They took care of ordering all the various pieces parts needed and got us a significant discount on materials.
First, they replaced the deck to install flashing (that the previous home owner neglected to do), that led to the water damage in the guest bedroom. The deck was brought up to code and revealed serious problems with the previous deck installation.
After the deck was done, the crew split off into two teams, one working on the master bathroom, the other, working on the guest bedroom.
The crew took care of hauling off all old materials and cleaned up after each day. The work was first-rate.
As with any major home project, unexpected/unforeseen problems arise. While removing the water-damaged sheetrock in the guest bedroom, major water damage was discovered to the exterior wall. Geoff gave me a very reasonable labor estimate to repair the wall. That wall is now the strongest in the house.
They show up when expected, every day, until the job is done. They go beyond what is expected to ensure that the client is happy with the direction the project is headed.
I highly recommend these master plumbers. I guess my highest endorsement is that, when our kitchen cabinets come in, Geoff and his crew will be doing our complete kitchen remodel (again, coming in thousands of dollars less than the high-end contractors). If you need any work done to your home, give them a call. They will not disappoint you.
And, Geoff, Mark, & Brian, our new master bathroom looks and functions beyond our expectations. Thank you!

its hard to find the words to express how thankful & grateful i am to have found this company. after literally being traumatized by fh furr & neglected by every other company that has been in our house for the last 25 years, our home has been made right, singlehandedly by oha. they are one of the few businesses left on this planet that choose to stand tall & take pride in their work AND KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING. THEY ARE EXPERTS. THEY ARE HVAC SCIENTISTS. but they dont gouge or take advantage. their skill level warrants them to charge double but they dont. they demonstrate empathy towards their customers & staff. david & devon came to inspect our newly installed system in our 50 year old home. they discovered the unit was mechanically too big & the ductwork was too small. they thought it through like a puzzle, which it was, but they enjoyed the problem solving with a personal satisfaction. it was actually pretty exciting! if you dont enjoy your livelihood then you cant understand this type of enjoyment. they provided further information through phone & email to be sure we were comfortable in our decisions. next came zach & mr kim to provide the duct rejuvenation. they were here for ten hours!! zach was lead & mr kim was helping, all the while zach explaining the job but never expressed frustration or aggravation of getting through a very long day with someone green but eager to learn. applause all around!! i commented to zach about his patience & he said he knew what it was like trying to learn from someone without it. this is another example of how this company keeps it real. they have universal respect. which also brings me to the ladies of the operation: my initial phone call was received by shelby (so friendly & the best laugh ever) with their location being in fredericksburg i was afraid i was outside of their service area but she said 'tell me what the problem is'. she listened to me ramble & said they had a new location in chantilly & they would call me. moments later rebekah called, listened to me further ramble & then she added brian (sr tech) onto the call. he too listened for quite some time reassuring me they had the right guys for the job. they literally woke me from a nightmare. rebekah had an excessive amount of email exchanges with me answering EVERY question. she never got short & never expressed any frustration when she easily could have. if youve been burned & jerked around, oha will fix you! i am so thankful for the peace of mind they have brought to my family. i wish this company & its employees many successes & all good things. THANK YOU!!!! ps-i just called to confirm shelbys name for this review. joe answered & he was just as fantastic as everyone else!!! in a world gone to pot, these guys bring hope & positivity. dramatic to say, but true!!

The a/c unit in my suite had been leaking water from the unit on and off for the last 6-8 weeks, we had a handman that does other work around the house come out clean/blow it out, as he said it was likely due to a blockage. However, not even two weeks later its leaking again... Due to the large amount of water leaking I turned the a/c unit off yesterday and had ceiling fans running which was of no help for me as it was still too hot! I don't know about you but I can't sleep in heat, I like it cold when I sleep. So I pulled an all nighter, so productive playing Soduku and watching some Anime... Soon as it was of reasonable morning hours I told my landlord the issue and thankfully the little lady had someone come out this afternoon!
The technician (Pablo) arrived on time, was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable in what he was doing. Pablo answered all the questions/concerns my landlord and myself had. More importantly I have a working a/c unit now that is blowing ice cold air and NOT LEAKING water! I can't want to get a good night's rest tonight. We really appreciate the quick turnaround and the awesome job Pablo did.

So far our service with Snell has been great. The problem was fixed and the system works great. Each service person who has been to our house has been polite and happy to explain things.

I recently purchased my first house, and since then have dealt with SO MANY CONTRACTORS (tree guys, electrician, floor guys, handymen, etc etc etc). I carefully researched and got recommendations for each of them. Clover was my absolute favorite of the bunch. Absolutely everyone I dealt with was friendly and responsive and helpful. They came on time, I learned a bunch, and my system works much better now. Thanks!!!

We had a great experience working with Allied and Bob. We called Allied to get a second quote on a furnace and to confirm that our furnace was dead after a bad experience with another HVAC company. Bob came out the same day to look at our unit. He provided us a quote that same day for an energy efficient unit. He is a straight-shooter, which was appreciated. He did not try to upsell us or pressure us to replace our AC unit at the same time, even though it is 10+ years old.

Make sure that they COMMUNICATE with you about the cost of the service that you are getting! I called for service on a Saturday for an AC unit that was not cooling. I was told that I would be charged a service fee of $150 plus once the problem was diagnosed additional charges would apply. Well, guess what? They had the audacity to charge my cc $708.00 without my knowledge! I did not get a call, text or email. Nothing! The Tech showed up and I NEVER received a call letting me know what was wrong with the unit. Because I had done previous business with them, I guess they kept my cc information on file without my knowledge and took the liberty to charge as they please. The NERVE! Not a very customer friendly move! I also feel that when I called to inform them, they were very nonchalant about the situation. I spoke with the supervisor or manager and I felt that he did not offer a clear explanation. Be careful and make sure they COMMUNICATE with You!

I was trying to get an estimate for new HVAC. The office seemed pretty responsive for scheduling the consultation and communicative about ETA. The technician that came out to look at our stuff was pretty knowledgeable and listened to our concerns. He took notes and was attentive to our needs.
The issue I had was that he said I would get a quote from him within an hour but never got an email or text back from them. Since there was no quote and the project was on a tight timeline, we just moved onto a different vendor.

Eduardo took great care in replacing our kitchen sink faucet. When a part was missing in the new faucet he took the time to go to Home Depot and get the missing part. He also noticed a valve needed replacing and he took care of that. He will be my go to plumber from now on

Came right away to fix my AC on a very hot day. Wish I had called them sooner.

I used them to service an AC unit in my apartment because they were the ones who installed it a few years before I moved in. I originally scheduled a service time a week out, but my unit completely stopped working mid-summer and so I asked if it could be moved earlier. They were able to do it the next night, but they increased the service visit cost which I thought was strange, but didn't argue.
The tech came on time, was professional and figured out the problem - although it took him a long time to do it. The price they quoted was ridiculously high, and they wouldn't guarantee the work. I later found out this was because what the stop gap they proposed would have voided the units warranty and could have actually led to much more serious problems.
Was very disappointed and won't use again.

We had an electrician in our home last week to move a chime button from door molding to the side of the house. Paul was friendly, professional and efficient. He even offered us multiple options for how he would complete the job. I had previously contacted another electrical company who advised me over the phone this was too difficult of a job. I took off one star because the technician was about an hour late. He did call at about 25 minutes after the hour to advise us it would be another 30 minutes before he arrived. Electrical work is seemingly expensive, but I can't really comment as I never got another quote for the work. Once in our home, he troubleshooted a few other electrical issues and quoted the other jobs. His response every time was yeah, we can fix that. We will use again.

I live in a Wardman up in Tenley. Our thermostat went bad and we needed a new one installed. I bought a new Nest and was prepared to install myself, but the wiring in the wall was old and short. I called Spartan on a SATURDAY and they came within 45 minutes and fixed the problem promptly. Excellent, courteous work.
