My bathroom faucet broke so I needed to install a new one. Giovani quoted $150 but explained that if they needed to take apart the sink it would be $225. Other quotes came in at $150, $175, $185, and $195. Giovani and Nick finished the job in less than one hour and without taking apart the sink so it was $150. Speaks for itself.

I called Handy Rooter and they got back to me the same day and even fixed a time after learning about my plumbing issue. Super courteous over the phone and equally courteous when the plumber arrived. We nailed a time after a couple of texts and phone calls.

The plumber just got to work - no extra chit chatting (I was super stressed about the problem at hand too) and really there just to fix the problem. Really appreciated the attention to work and asking all the right questions to get to the bottom of it. It took a little while for the plumber to work on fixing the issue and he did not demonstrate any impatience -- just dedication.

I am explicitly calling out the professionalism because I've dealt with a breadth of plumbers over the summer last year who were rude, sexist and unprofessional just over the phone.

Anthony is a rock star and extremely professional. He installed our Water Softener and Reverse Osmosis system about 6 months ago. Few days ago our water started tasting funny and my wife called him to take a look. Despite being busy he showed up the same day and diagnosed it was the carbon filter and changed it instantly.

My water heater started acting up, suddenly water would come out hot and cold so I wanted to get it checked out right away. I called 5 star plumbing to have them come out to check it out and give me estimate. They were so fast and efficient, right away they knew what the issue was. My water heater was just too old and needed to be changed. I asked if they could do the job the same day and they said yes. Within a couple hours I had a new water heater installed and have had zero issues, I love having nice hot water and not worry about the water heater anymore. Their quick availability, reasonable pricing and professional services are what makes them the only plumbing service I will continue to use in the future I highly recommend them.

Trevin and AJ were able to arrive a day after I called to have a malfunctioning sump pump in a crawl space replaced. Their work was professional, clean, and fast. I'll definitely keep them in my contacts list.

I recently had a new soft water conditioner installed at my house. I called  Serv - All  because I have been a client of theirs for many years. They installed my previous conditioner approximately 16 years ago. My new unit was installed promptly and very professionally. No mess everything cleaned up nicely. I'm very pleased with the work and install. The technicians for Service - All and Water Quality are very professional, knowledgable and courteous. I needed to add a gas line to power my gas dryer. When I called the first time for a quote, Richard answered pretty much right away. Made an appt for the next day. He showed up on time at the agreed upon time (actually a few minutes early). I showed him what I needed to be done, and he fully explained what he needed to do. Gave me his written quote and I told him that I would call him back. Absolutely no sales pressure from him, which I always appreciate.

Called him back 2 weeks later to do the job. Made the appt, and he again showed up on time. He did what I had asked and also fixed a problem that he did not see before. Even with the extra work that he did not anticipate, he did everything for the orginally quoted price.

Called them to fix a VPB at my house, but no one called me back.  I assumed the job was too small for them or they are just too busy.  I like to support Sunnyvale businesses so maybe I will try them next time...

Awais is very responsible, honest and knowledgeable.    He offered free in home estimate and gave flexible schedule to install my new water heater.  He was very nice and taught me how to maintain a water heater couple times until I fully understand.  One of my parts was old and he would drive to Home Depot right away and change it for free.  Highly recommend him for my friend and family.

I called Rene and he remedied a toilet installation after I recently had flooring changed. The difference in flooring thickness caused a gap between the floor and toilet.

I was aware of the rates and although high, I needed the work done.

A third toilet was in a common area so it wasn't as urgent. There was a different quote because the pipe needed to be cut on this one. I called and got a different quote from another company. They did the job for less than half.

When you can, always get a second opinion. Paying more than 2x is no joke. That's why one star deduction.

I am 100% satisfied with VIP Plumbing, held and operated by Vince P. Our 20 years old water heater was still working but started showing problems with the temperature of the water. Vince came to evaluate the problems the same day. He does not charge for the visit, unlike others who would charge just to give you a quote. We agreed that it is better to replace the heater than to wait it to create more problems. He gave me a very reasonable price for the replacement including buying and bringing the heater and all parts needed and came a few days later to replace it. He impressed me as a very knowledgeable specialist. He installed a pan under the new heater that was missing but required by code, installed also an expansion tank that he included in the total price, even though it was not mentioned in the original quote. The new heater was 2 inches taller than the old one, so all pipes needed some adjustment. The job took nearly 3 hours with a short lunch break. I received a one year labor warranty and, of course, the 6 year manufacturer warranty. All in all, I am very impressed by Vince's work.

I tried to reach them multiple times to give business but they never returned my calls neither they responded to my emails as well. Other reviewers stated they got response via email from a person (Eric). I believe that the response that I have received on yelp was some sort of an automated response.

Our water heater broke yesterday. No hot water and there was some flooding in the garage. I'm so glad I called Active Plumbing this morning and spoke to Majid. He came out a few hours later and replaced our water heater. Such a relief that it was taken care of right away. Majid was professional, efficient, and did an excellent job. Sprung a leak in a fairly new and sophisticated HVAC system.  Tech new that the previous system condensation line was installed incorrectly that caused the leak.  Rapid response and repair.  Not your average plumbing company.  Knowledgeable people with great customer service.  I never do reviews but this company deserves one.

Mike Counsil Plumbing contacted me quickly, scheduled a technician to come to my home to see the water heater, and answered my questions about the various water heater options. The technician gave me  a no-surprises estimate before he started the work.  Mike Counsil uses highly rated water heaters. They did an excellent job on the install, I was happy to get a competitive price which also included the permit. A very professional company and their GM, Patty, was very helpful!

This plumber is highly recommended, I had him service my toilet and he got it done in 20 mins and no more water leakage. On the way out he actually discovered a more serious problem of the water main leakage issue when he heard a strange sound coming from the underground sewage, which he then helped to resolve it next day. So many thanks for his immediate response to rescue my water problem, his professionalism and most importantly, he has great price that beat others by FAR!!!!!!! I found Polis Plumbing through Noritz as I have a tankless water heater. I needed my water heater to be descaled. They quoted a great price and came. However, I had another issue at home where my water flow was decreasing in one of my showers. They proceeded to investigate and changed my shower cartridge which seem to work. Job well done but my wife complained that the water is still slow. They came back again another day to troubleshoot and decided to swap out cartridges to see what was the cause. In end the found the problem, great service, responsive, respectful in explaining stuff to us and did not charge us the second time to get the job done right. That's the kind of service company to keep. Will ask them back for descaling in the future and other plumbing jobs. Thank you for taking care of us.
