I had an unfortunate overflow situation in my front yard. Oh sh*t! I used Yelp to get responses from local plumbers. The first guy came out, snaked the line and couldn't clear it. He gave me a quote to come back with a different method and it was high. BeastBay had responded and told me to get back to them if I still needed help. I did. Anthony showed up the next morning. Price was much better than the other guys and the team was charming and helped make a hard situation almost enjoyable. They put a camera down the line and now I know I'm going to have to replace part of the sewer line soon. I'll call these guys.

I hired Mr. Rooter to come out and replace a shut off valve under my sink and to install a water filter. I had already paid for the water filter. No charge for the estimate. Alfredo did an excellent job and was very neat and tidy. The cost amounted to about $642. Much better than Albert Nehman's $5000. The only reason it is 4 stars and not 5 stars is the cost to do a simple project. It is an easy job for a plumber to install a water filter. The container that holds the water filter is already installed. The old filter is just tossed into my garbage bin. The water shut off valve was not leaking; he had to install a new one as the old one did not shut off the water in the sink. If I had had a handy husband, brother or son available, they could have done the job. I did receive a senior discount of $40. I do reccomend them. I will call them again.

Very fast, efficient, and reliable! I had reached out to various services, but many would send someone who will evaluate then quote then conduct the service - who has time for that?! Especially when you need your sink asap. The first service was very late to my appointment and then no showed. I liked how this company made a quote immediately so I can make a quick decision . The plumber came early vs. on time. Gabriel came with a friendly attitude and did a great job. I'm happy with the work and process and would use the service again!

Joven was recommended to me by my realtor over 10 years ago. He does solid work, always reliable and kind. He does quality work for a reasonable price. He's our go-to-guy for plumbing.

Greg did some fireplace gas line work for me, and I truly can't recommend him enough.
I got quotes from multiple plumbing companies. All of the rest gave me ranges (some 2-3x of what Greg gave) and gave them with the caveat that it'll probably go up once they did the work. Greg committed to a ceiling (instead of a floor) that was supremely competitive and detailed - he mapped out exactly where lines would go. He was super easy to schedule with (we texted, for those who hate phone calls) and showed up on time w 2 helpers to make it go faster. When they were here, I didn't feel the need to supervise or manage and felt very comfortable with them at home. Gives so much piece of mind to have a plumber on speed dial who you like and trust! Thank you, Greg!!

J E Brown brought the backflows on our ancient boilers up to code, and I appreciated their pleasant professionalism .
They really know what they are doing, both in terms of their work and in dealing city permits. .

The water heater ball valve was leaking so I called Chung Wah Plumbing. The guy who answered the phone asked me if I wanted a morning or afternoon service call. I opted for afternoon so the guy said they would be out after 1PM.
At 2:20PM the two plumbers showed up. There was an older plumber and a young plumber. The young guy had good communication skills and the older plumber was hard to understand. I showed them the leaking ball valve at the water heater and they went back to their truck to get their tools and supplies. I told them they had to shut off the water in front of the house so that was the first thing they did.
It wasn't a difficult job so it didn't take long for the two of them to remove the old ball valve and install the new one. I have copper pipes in my seventy four year old house so the plumbers had to unsolder the leaking valve and sweat (solder) the new one in. After installing the new ball valve, they turned the water back on and I checked the pipes and ball valve for leaks. I saw no leaks. I told them I was satisfied and they packed up their tools and supplies and left.
The two guys did a beautiful, professional job. I was charged $100 for the job which I gladly paid.
If I have any more plumbing problems, I will definitely call Chung Wah again.

My bathtub was leaking in a big way. I plugged the drain to get a better understanding of the leak before I started looking for a plumber. It was leaking about 5 gallons every 6 - 8 hours.
I posted a request on yelp for quotes with a description of the issue. Four plumbers responded, most wanted questions, one said it would cost $100 per hour just to look at it (!!!), one told me to open it up and replace the springs and seats (I tried that already), and Saul said, Can you be home by noon? I'll send someone over.
David arrived about 5 minutes before noon, and immediately knew the whole valve had to be replaced. Even with running out to get supplies, cutting a slightly bigger hole in the wall to accommodate his work, removing and replacing the valve, and cleaning up, he was done before 3 PM.
Up front pricing, good, clean work, great work ethic. I have no doubt that they'd be my first call in the future.

Thanks Vincent and crew for handling my lateral sewer job in a timely fashion and for doing a good job on the pressure test where another (unnamed) plumbing company failed!

I've used this woman-owned company a few times for the following:
* fix a toilet that continuously runs no matter how you fiddle with it
* fix a kitchen disposal that doesn't go no matter how you fiddle with it
* fix the bathroom drain that drains *very* slowly
Their phone receptionist is courteous and efficient - getting me scheduled usually within the same day.
Their contractors are knowledgeable, kind, and quick. On two occasions they recommended options for DIY and for ways to save money. When they had to get a part and install it, they did it next day. And I've had no problems with any of their work since they were here.
Bonus: Lauren, the owner, is a neighbor (Bernal Heights) and is really nice.

Ronan is a very reliable plumber! He was on another job but was able to stop by within the hour when I had called. Very friendly and trustworthy. The plumbing issue ended up being more complicated and required a rooter, but totally worth having him stop by to help me understand what the issue source was and for being very thorough with his work and recommendations. I would call him again. Thanks very much Ronan.

WELL PRICED! he was extremely professional. I needed help with a tv wall mount and he brought his own toggle bolts in case my studs were not in line with what I would like.
I have a background with housework and could tell immediately that he was experienced and knew what he was doing.
This is the guy you want for your tv mount install!!
The price was extremely fair and i tipped extra as I felt the quality of the work went above and beyond. He also brought his own bags to catch drilldust and booties for his shoes.

I have known Bill for over 6 years. He has done extensive plumbing for the remodeling of our home, including three bathrooms and a gas fireplace. We have also had him come back for some routine maintenance during this time. He is honest, efficient, competent and a joy to work with. His fees are reasonable and he guarantees all the work that he does. I would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends and family. Bill gets top praise from me.

I normally don't write reviews but I just had to for the great staff here. I was referred to this shop by family and when it came time to look for a new shower head, this shop really delivered. The staff are so kind and knowledgeable! You won't find such great service at big chain stores. Support small business and check this place out!! Thanks Will and Edwin for the help! We love our new shower head! See how shiny??

Zayah was on time, knowledgeable, asked enough questions to make sure we were on the same page, but was unobtrusive and efficient. He diagnosed Missi ng parts we needed, took a quick trip to the store in my behalf, and replaced our disposal/repaired some broken sink plumbing quickly and cleanly. Strong recommend!

The technician came right on time. He wore a mask and did a standard inspection of the heating and cooling system in a very reasonable period of time. Also took the time to take pictures and show me how he cleaned certain parts of the system with before and after be shots. Very professional and pleasant to work with. Highly recommend
