Best Gas Furnace Installation in San Diego CA

I called these guys because I'm 5 months pregnant and miserable with an AC that refused to get cool!  Most places had a 2 week wait time, but when I explained my situation to Fred, he rearranged some things and was able to squeeze me in for the next day.  And now I know why all the other yelpers gave these guys great reviews!!  Fred and Max and their other gentleman came promptly in the morning and worked non-stop all day.  They are so nice and very honest and thorough about the work that needs to be done, and make an effort to explain any problems in a way that's easy to understand.  They also brought out their plumber Ken when I mentioned I had a toilet that needed to install, and he was just as awesome.  Ken measured everything first and discovered my husband and I had bought the wrong size toilet, so he was kind enough to go to another job and come back afterwards so we could go make an exchange and get the right one.  In the end we had our outside unit and indoor thermostat and heater replaced, along with the toilet, all for a very fair price - a steal, really..  I've had 3 years of horrible luck with maintenance companies, so this was a wonderful, welcome surprise!  Can't thank these guys enough :)

From the dispatcher Ricci who was super friendly and efficient on the phone to Brian an employee for 22 years who fixed our heater the whole experience was positive. No one keeps employees ,responds promptly and does job efficiently anymore. This company is doing it the right way. Ideal it sounds cliche but you were Ideal. Thanks !

Piece of Mind, Excellent Service! Thank You to Chad for your his honest opinion on my heating and air systems. I'm a caregiver for my husband who used to do Everything in our home. When Chad reviewed my heater, there was nothing wrong with it and is very old. He cleaned the filter and showed me how to do this for future. He also checked a few other things that were ok. He also checked our AC and showed me a capacitor that may need to be replaced in the future. Bottom line, he didn't try to over sell anything. He was honest & friendly. I've used Bill Howe in the past for out plumbing as well and had the same great service. Thank You for the Great Service.

Couldn't be happier. I don't tend to write reviews, but I had to in this case. We recently moved out of state and left our home for sale. During escrow we had a crazy water damage claim. Not only were Castillo Works super quick and accommodating, they also addressed some of the the repair requests for the buyers which also saved us a huge headache. We were completely impressed. I believe they conduct their business in an honorable and professional manner. The owner and the plumber handling our job both were great. They were clearly men of integrity, were always reachable and charged us for exactly the work we needed to have done. In fact, they charged a very reasonable amount, and considering we are in another state, we were vulnerable to whatever a plumber told us. Seriously, stop reading reviews right now. Call Castillo Works if you need a plumber.

We called SAme Day over a month ago looking for a quote to get A/C installed.  Anthony came over, inspected and gave us the most reasonable price we could have imagined.  We would have had him install it right then and there but our HOA required approval.  So we had to wait a month before doing anything.  HOWEVER, Anthony was friendly and super quick.  I appreciate you Anthony!!

We just got our A/C installed about thirty minutes ago. I am more than impressed by this company and their employees.  Rich and Javier-- you guys are amazing!  They called my husband when they were on their way and we're on time!  Both of you were so friendly, polite, knowledgeable and worked very efficiently to get our
A/C installed.  Being pregnant, I appreciated the fact that both of you wore masks and the cool slipper covers for your shoes.  Not that we have fancy floors, but the level of respect you both showed in our home was just refreshing and very much appreciated.  Besides the great price for A/C in general, having Javier and Rich do the installation was the cherry on top!  Our house started cooling down the moment they turned the A/C on and it's been the perfect temperature ever since they left the house.  I would recommend Same Day Heating and Air to everyone! I had a backup in the line to my septic system, my regular plumber couldn't get it clear, I was referred to Pacific Drain by JJ Septic and called them in the early am, leaving a message with the answering service. I received a prompt call back and was scheduled for 9 am to 1 pm. Ed, my technician, showed up at 9 am, unplugged the line, and plunged the clogged up shower drain. Great customer service.

Contacted Thompson Heating for a servicing of my furnace and turned out that it needed to be replaced.  Darrell worked with me on the price and came up with an excellent system that was a huge improvement over the old unit.  Everyone was a pleasure to deal with including all three of the service reps who worked on the instillation (Ryan, Nate & Brian).  They never complained and worked diligently until everything was set up and running.  Would DEFINATELY call these guys back.

Jerry went above and beyond to help my Dad's plumbing emergency.  I told him, my father who is in his 80's, had an unusual leak when talking a shower.  Not sure as to the problem, Jerry sent one his crew to investigate.  Turned out, it was only a minor problem and an easy fix.  The repair bill was very competitive and showed up at the time promised.  What impressed me the most, was their integrity and honesty in helping a senior citizen when in need.  These guys are great!  We'll keep Jerry on speed dial, should something more urgent arise again.

I just had my Heating Maintenance conducted. The Anderson P, H, & A services are easy to schedule. The cost of the VIP program is reasonable. The technicians are professional, on-time, clear & concise in their explanations of what they will be doing. I definitely appreciate the written report they provide each time they conduct a service! I am sweating my rear off and have been getting quotes for a replacement HVAC system. All 4 companies that came including Home Depot company gave my wife a quote same day and pretty much upon completion of the inspection. The gentleman that came to do the estimate told my wife they would email us quote by EOD. Nothing. My wife calls the next day and sends an email (in case they had a typo when sending us a quote) and nothing at the end of the second day. I honestly don't know what could take so long (I'm not in the industry) but if this is how long it's going to take for a quote to get my business...how long is it going to take to get the job done. It's way too hot in Rancho to be waiting on these guys. It's going to be a no for me.

It a great coincidence that this company is called Sherlock, because it took some master detecting to figure out the odd combination of things that caused my AC to fail.

If you are lucky enough to get Sergio to show up at your door, count your blessings because your stuff will be fixed right and he won't leave any detail un-investigated.

From start to finish my experience with this company was positive. The people answering the phones are professional and friendly, scheduling happened faster than I expected (considering it was in the 90s the day I called with my broken AC), everyone calls you and confirms and shows up when they say they will.

The first young man to come out (Jake) did a thorough investigation, spending quite a bit of time going through every square inch of the system. He was fabulously professional and communicative. He made some educated guesses as to what might be the problem. I originally thought the issue was with my new Nest thermostat and Jake is very good with those - I don't think he expected to be going through my crawl space and up and down through all the ducting and wiring, but he never complained and stayed until he had exhausted almost every possibility for what was causing the system to fail. He also made the phone calls to verify my warranty, to order the part he thought might be the culprit, and to ensure that it would be delivered and picked up and my replacement appointment would be set.

The next day Sergio came, thinking we had to replace my compressor. He, too, searched every inch of my system hoping he might be able to save me the cost of the compressor, especially because my system was so new. And he did! He discovered a few odd configurations and problems which had been created both by some electrical work we had recently done and a previous AC servicing issue. It really took a master AC expert with years of experience to figure this out. Voila - problem solved and sweet cold air filled the house!!! Miraculous. These were very small, very odd things most people might not have noticed, but he was so thorough and experienced he found them. He still stayed for quite a bit longer, testing every function of the system, checking every connection, finding and fixing some air flow problems, and finally buttoning everything up cleanly to ensure that everything was flowing smoothly and consistently. He then sat down and very carefully went over all of his findings, explaining everything, teaching me a lot about how systems like this work, and offering suggestions for the best possible maintenance moving forward.

These days it's hard to find companies you feel you can trust. There are some sketchy operators out there just trying to up-sell. I can say that my experience with Sherlock's employees from start to finish was very customer-oriented. I feel like I got more than my money's worth in service and that they were working hard to make sure I wasn't spending more money than I should. They will be my go-to from here on out.
