Pete Gonzales, who specializes in plumbing, helped install a protective cage for the backflow preventer in front of the property I'm helping out with.  Pete did excellent work.  I've found him to be very knowledgeable and patient in answering plumbing questions and providing information on any plumbing concerns a client may have...a solid pro who certainly represents Ideal Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electrical well!

Our ac wasn't working about a year ago. We called Bill Howe and 400 and some change later, our ac was working again. Yay! Until a couple of months later it broke again. We weren't too eager to get it fixed again because the guy who came to fix it the first time told us that if he had to fix it again, it was likely the compressor (which is kinda pricey). Soo, fast forward to today- we were expecting another lengthy and expensive visit but had decided on another company. Well, as it turns out, the guy who came to fix our ac the last time used the wrong size wires and that's why it stopped working the second time. It took this other company 15 minutes and it cost a fraction what Bill Howe charged us.

Because they know Howe (how to charge too much for a shotty repair)!

These guys are solid. I've used them twice now and intend on using again shortly.

I wish there were half star ratings because this would really be a 4.5 star rating. This rating is for a mini split ac system I just had installed.

My installation team, Eric and Manny, were absolutely top notch. Probably one of the best contractor experiences I've ever had. They were on time every day and even when they were going to be a little late, they called and notified me. They worked with me when I needed to change my schedule one day. They were very respectful of my home and made sure to cover everything every day, and clean up amazingly well at the end of each day. Would highly recommended requesting them for your AC install, they were fantastic.

The star deduction comes from the misleading expectations set by the main office. They told me the install would take 4 days. To me, that means from start to complete finish (drywall and paint). They actually just meant the actual AC install. I expected the paint and dry wall team to be different but I expected them to come in as soon as the install was finished. Instead I had to ask about when the drywall team would be coming. Only then was the team contacted and called me to schedule, to which they told me they were all booked up and it could take weeks until the finishing job was actually complete.

Overall, my experience with Tarpy was fantastic. Everyone I spoke with or interacted with was extremely responsive and helpful whenever I had questions, there was just the one little hiccup/annoyance that made it not perfect, but you have to expect that when dealing with contractors I guess.

TLDR: Highly recommend Tarpy!

I've dealt with many Plumbing companies and this is far out the best plumbing company in San Diego.  Art and his assistant was very professional and came out and fixed our plumbing issue.     Thank you again and definitely will save his number in my contacts

Sean C. fixed a couple of things in the heating unit space in our home. We had the heater/AC installed in March 2020. He was very friendly, professional and cleaned up after the work he performed. He also explained how the 'smart' thermostat (nest) works so we understood a bit more about it.
I recommend Same Day Heating and A/C.

Troy came out to fix what I thought was going to be a big job involving opening up my wall, etc. He was able to find parts to rebuild it so he didn't need to open up the wall and install a whole new set up. The price was half of what it would have been, he saved me over $300!! He always goes above and beyond and always is pleasant. He made my day!

Thompson Heating and Air Conditioning is AMAZING. They know exactly what they are doing. We had a couple of local well-known companies come out and diagnose our A/C unit, which wasn't cooling. They all gave an hour explanation on what they found and how the numbers of their tests don't lie. They all said to get a new unit and quoted around $2,500. Thompson came out and just by what I told him he knew exactly what was wrong. $145 later out unit started blowing cold air. Thompson is the ONLY person to call when you have problems with your heating or air.

Just want to say great service. Honest work and fair price. They are in the business to help you out not take advantage. Appreciate the work they have done for me in the past and will definitely continue to use them.

This company prides its self on being Woman owned and Operated but has yet to train its employees on sexism or ageism.

I called Anderson to come out to quote and fix 3 items in my home: First, they were the most expensive, even with 15% discount and no service charge.

1.5: They did come out quickly and call me with updated on the techs arrival.

Second: Their Tech went over everything with me, a female, and said I needed to make sure to talk to my husband, because he would be able to decide what we needed to get fixed. I will not be going with Anderson on principal and will ensure to tell friends and neighbors to avoid them at all costs due to their mangled pricing pyramid and lack of professionalism.

Its ok to be ageist, sexist and pretty much everything else as long as you aren't racists. Women owned and Operated... Your people need some sensitivity training.

Mike was upfront and honest about my problem with the toilet.  Since I know absolutely nothing he could have said anything costing me an unnecessary amount of money. Thank you so much for your honesty and suggestions!

I called THA because the furnace would start the immediately turn off. Enrique made the call and showed me where the fan motor was not spinning because the ball bearings were shot. Fan motor must be replaced with the entire assembly for $550 but he recommended the whole furnace be replaced for $2000!

I was rather stunned but after he left I looked at the fan motor and I could see an accumulation of saw dust. Upon vacuuming and lubricating the shaft of the fan it now works fine.

I called the shop wanting to talk with the owner but he will not return my calls.

It was a rip off that failed

They weren't available on the weekend, so I had to go somewhere else.

Can't speak to their service, so take that with a grain of salt.
