Best Emergency Services in San Antonio TX
My Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) went out on Sunday night! Made an appointment with Anchor Plumbing first thing the next morning for between noon and 4:00pm that day. I got a phone call at around 9:00am saying they could come early. Adam & Tyler showed up enthusiastic about the job and explained everything and made recommendations to consider. The pricing was reasonable, considering the extra work that needed to be done! They finished up the work in about 2 hrs and even found the time to take care of my neighbor as well! Great work Anchor Plumbing on having such a professional team and going the extra mile!

Andre and Joaquin did several jobs (mostly unfinished & sloppy work by our contractor) for our home. We were very pleased with their professionalism, responsiveness, doing plumbing the legit way (permits and all), and attention to detail. They are a smaller business so it may take them a little longer to finish the job - but they do great work! I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a good plumbing company.

I had a great experience with Henry and his team from Plumbit Plumbing Services! They were prompt to answer my request for a quote and came out same day to provide it. The following day, I made an appointment for their services and they came out 3 hrs later. Henry and his team are very honest, efficient and kind. I'm very satisfied with the pricing and outcome. If I ever need a plumber again, I'll definitely being calling them!

Confusion with my initial call, but the owner, Cody, got back to me so quick to address my problems and give me quotes! Very impressed by his professionalism. We haven't hired them quite yet, but I'm leaning towards their services, as Cody has proven to really care about his customers and taking care of me. :$

While in the shower this morning, one of my pipes failed and water was gushing unabated behind the wall. Less than 3 hours later, it is already fixed! I called EZ Flow in a panic and they said they could come out this afternoon, or possibly sooner. Less than 1/2 hour later, I got a text that they were en route. They fixed the issue promptly and I am so thankful, as I am scheduled to go out of town this weekend and did not want this hanging unresolved for the next 2 weeks.

Gilbert is GREAT!!!! After calling 3 other plumbers and setting up appts and having them NO SHOW even with great reviews I was ready to be let down. However, he was timely, professional and quick. He could of easily taken his time and made sure he got paid for another hr. of labor but he very punctual. Most importantly he was personable. The worst thing is having any kind of technician in your home who is rude or short with you. Gilbert was very nice and pleasant to be around as he thoroughly explained what i needed to do next.
I'd refer him to anyone and his magnet is staying on my fridge for anything in the future.
GOOD TO KNOW HE ALSO DOESN'T CHARGE EXTRA FOR AFTER HOUR EMERGENCIES!!!! HUGE BONUS! OTHER COMPANIES KILL YOU ON THAT!!!

These guys are awesome! Came over with no issues to inspect my system and pointed out CO2 problem & were able to fix the system same day! Great service, great customer service, and great value! Noel & Jesse were professional, quick, and clean. Answered all my questions and were very knowledgeable about the HVAC system and explained why there was a problem & what it took to fix it. Very transparent about what they were suggesting and why. Recommend services!

Andrew, from Mr. Rooter, was awesome! It wasn't my property, but I manage the maintenance for it. He called the tenant beforehand, then called me when he arrived and told me the total price. After accepted, he immediately started working on it. We had the kitchen faucet leaking a bunch of water. After he finished, voilá! No more leaking. If you request services from Mr. Rooter, ask them to send Andrew.
The 4 stars are because I found it a bit pricey (almost $400), but the service was good, quick, and reliable.

I'd like to give Chris Copeland a huge shoutout for the quality of work, customer service and competitive pricing on our tankless water heater installation. #CMCPlumbing.

Best plumbing service ever!!!! Troy King was at my house in less than an hour after I called. Replaced my water softener and worked with me on the price. Did a number of small plumbing jobs as well. I will always use this company for all my plumbing needs! The company also gives a 10% military discount. Troy was very professional and knowledgable and went the extra mile to complete the job.

They came out to give free estimate (which not many that I call will do) on laundry drain clog. Price was reasonable. Service was quick. They were friendly and went above and beyond my expectations.

It's very hard to find an honest plumber with fair prices. Pete and his team have proven several times to be a group of plumbers who are knowledgeable, prompt to provide service within the day or day after, and with fair prices. And that is very hard to find with plumbers. Also what I love is that Pete gives you a fair set price before hand without any last minute surprises like other plumbers do.
All these 4 characteristics make Elite Plumbing Solutions to be a 5 star company.

First of all, they were here when promised! I loved that they send you a bio of who is coming over prior to their arrival and called ahead of time! Secondly, Ryan was awesome! He gave me options of how I wanted to proceed with the needed repair of my toilet! They (Ryan and his assistant, David) allowed me to choose the best option for my budget with full disclosure of what each option would cost and how long it should last! They did the needed repair very quickly, wore shoe covers, were neat, very friendly and provided DISCOUNTS!! YEAH for discounts! I did not have a plumber prior to this experience, so I looked here on Yelp! Due to the great ratings, I decided to try A&A Plumbing...guess what...they are my new GO-TO plumber! Will ONLY use them from now on! Great customer service at a very fair price!!

Today I had Homer and TY from Big City Plumbing come to my home. Both were extremely polite and professional. Having the same trouble arise several times after other plumbing companies had come I decided to give Big City a try. I couldn't be more impressed Homer was thorough and was determined to find the issue versus finding a quick fix. Homer and Ty took great care in my home making sure to wear booties on themselves and there equipment even though I told them it wasn't necessary but they insisted. I was also very surprised how reasonable the price was compared to the other prior companies had been. If you ever need a good honest company I recommend Big City. Thank you Big City for sending Homer to my home today!

BEWARE! I've been dealing with Jon Wayne for three days now with no A/C, and I'm just beginning to realize the depth of the issues with this company.... I've been talking to Ken, who told me he was a supervisor filling in for a manager who is out. As I just read through these reviews, I see that they are all answered by Ken, who is listed as a Business Manager. There is also one review listing Ken as a manager of the Finance Department. Either Ken is a very popular name at Jon Wayne, or Ken holds MANY positions at the company, OR it's a pretty transparent scheme. I feel very sorry for the people who gave good ratings here and are happy with their purchase, because they probably paid way too much.
I called Jon Wayne because they are the ones who installed our system 6 years ago, just over one year before we purchased the home. The previous owners were elderly, opted for the cheapest they could get (according to JW), and still paid over $9k. One of the neighbors told me they were often targets for large companies, and overpaid for every service they received the last few years. This is so sad.
Anyway, our A/C started vibrating on Saturday evening, so I called first thing Monday morning, and they couldn't come until Tuesday. Ray came out and diagnosed the problem, and also told me we had grossly insufficient air return for the size of our unit, which could likely be the cause of the failure. I pointed out that JW installed it, so they should have installed sufficient air return. Who would offer a warranty on a unit that they know is not getting the correct amount of air? Ray was very nice and helpful. He spent 30 minutes on the phone, then came back and told me that management would get back to me as soon as possible. Meanwhile, I needed to leave the air off to prevent further damage.
I called back early Wednesday morning, and was told I would get a call soon. I called back Wednesday at 4:45 pm and was told I would get a call soon. Ken called me shortly after, apologized, and said they would send another tech out the next morning. (Why would they need another tech? Sounds like they need another pair of eyes before they admit any fault.)
Thursday morning, a Senior tech, Abel, came out and confirmed the diagnosis. He told me he had actually sold the original unit to the previous owners who told him they were putting the house on the market, and wanted to spend as little as possible, since they were selling, and that's why they declined to install another return. Thankfully, I had spoken with the owners when we purchased, and I know they weren't planning to sell until a few months prior to listing the home, when it became a necessity, NOT 14 months prior, as Abel claims. I promptly called a neighbor who is still very close to them, and she confirmed Abel's story to be completely untrue.
In addition, he gave me a $1000+ quote to repair my unit that likely failed because of their negligence, and repeatedly tried to get me to join the Gold Club, or whatever they called it. I snapped a photo of the chart he showed me that listed how proper air return for each unit is calculated, but when he showed me a price list, he would not let me take a photo, claiming it was proprietary information. The price list!
When I called Ken to express my disbelief and outrage at the fact that his tech had just completely fabricated a story, he proceeded to explain to me how 10 years ago, they didn't even know what effect air return had on a unit, and six years ago, they might not have been taking that into consideration yet. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? In 2010, one of the largest HVAC companies in San Antonio didn't know how much air intake a unit needs to function properly??!!
At best, this company is unknowledgeable and exorbitantly overpriced. My suspicion, however, is that they aren't being completely honest (DEFINITELY not in my case), and are taking advantage of homeowners who don't know any better. While four days without air has not been fun, it's worth it to find out the truth before I gave them a cent of my hard-earned money. I called another company as soon as JW left, and they were here within an hour with a quote for the same work at almost half the cost.
Ray was great, and I hope he will find a job somewhere else. Ken was very nice, as well, but it seems that his job is smoothing things over at JW by handling the upset customers, and judging by the number of bad reviews followed by his vaguely apologetic excuses, he probably stays pretty busy. The Duke would be disappointed.

We had plumbing issues the night before which caused a back flow and flushing issues to our toilets. We called for someone to come out to take a look and they were there within 2 hours. Tyler did a great job at explaining the process and pricing before he started the job and while he was doing each step. He helped resolve the issue of the main line clog causing the issues in our plumbing.

During the snow storm of 2021 a water pipe busted in my home. I called Roto-Rooter on a Monday and pleasantly found they were scheduling me for the next day. Winter conditions continued and no show. I called them at the end of the day and was told all scheduled appointments were moved to next day. Next day no show, no call. It's Friday and still no show, but what disturbs me most is no notice this whole time. I only heard from them once and that's bc I called them. Luckily my neighbor called A.L. Plumbing and after talking to their plumber he squeezed me in right there on the spot and fixed my problem. A.L. Plumbing, 210-269-6346.
I can't speak to R-Rs quality of service, but I can speak to their disregard for customer notification, time, and general courtesy.
