Best Bathtub Installation in Saint Louis MO
Man was I lucky to find these guys, I wish I could give them 6 stars.
Think of it like this, a newbie plumber shows up in a little Ford Ranger pick up. A legit plumber shows up in a full sized truck. LaMartina shows up in a packed box truck ready for anything. Old house? Don't care. Custom plumbing, no problem. These guys are pros.
You end up saving money with these guys because a four hour job with a budget plumber is three hours with LaMartina. I have always lived in older homes and I have used them four times and they never disappoint. Once when we moved I needed the work orders from all the jobs they had done at my house for a seller. They emailed it to me in hours, great customer service in the office. They even do a good job cleaning up afterwards, must have good mothers.

Great company to work with. I called late at night for a clogged drain and received a quick response. I was extremely satisfied with the service and the price was a great value! Will definitely recommend and use this company again in the future!

Received a tune-up on furnace. Sean pointed out some future issues but made no hard sales pitch. Also no mention of membership or anything pushing of products. I asked questions and he was straight forward and responsive. Plan on using again in future.

Excellent service from Frank. Showed and explained as to the work he had completed.
My first time with FS Plumbing, and very happy with their service.
Replaced a leaky pipe in the basement. Found out there were two leaks. Started as small drips.

Anthony was here to fix my furnace within a few hours of my phone call. It needed a part that was under warranty, and they were able to wave the trip charge, which I appreciated. Anthony is very professional and seems to be knowledgeable.

AAA has always done a super job for us on many repair/service needs. This time, Tim was excellent as well. Efficient and informative. He repaired our shower and provided estimates for additional needs. Very happy with outcome and with the cost.

I have called Dan for a variety of plumbing services for my investment properties and personal residence. He is extremely responsive and is always able to get me on his schedule quickly. He has installed all new shower plumbing, valve replacement, under the sink plumbing replacement, etc. I would highly recommend!

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!! Our sewer backed up and we called Mr. Rooter. The technician who came out could not remove the blockage. Then he charged us $100 more to snake it from the street. Also not unblocking it. We had suspected a break so we had him run a camera. He found the break, but would not mark it on the floor. This whole fiasco ended up costing $500. THEN because said technician could not unblock the sewer it FLOODED our basement 3 days later. We called them back to get them to come out and re snake it, but they wouldn't because there was a break. We had to call a real plumber out (who could and did remove the blockage). This guy ran a camera and MARKED where the break was. The invoice from Mr. Rooter was a joke, it said nothing that we could give our insurance or any plumber who could come in to replace the pipe.

My basement utility sink backed up so I was afraid of a huge issue. The Redington plumber came promptly, assessed the problem and finished before I knew it. Very good work.

Kirkwood Plumbing did a sewer job on a prior house we were pleased with, so when the sewer backed up on our new house they were our first call. They recommended cameraing the line, however they were three times the going rate for a camera. But they were there, so we had them do it. That's when their tech told us all the cast iron under the house was completely shot, missing sections, would all have to be replaced, quoting a 15k repair.
I sent their video to three other plumbers, and we had another company come out and recamera the line. All of them said the line was fine, and there was no need to rip apart the basement. It was just a simple soft blockage.
I'm not a plumber, and I know there can be differences of opinion. But everyone I talked to who wasn't trying to sell me on a 15k repair said the line was fine. I will say that the folks I talked to at Kirkwood Plumbing were very respectful, but continued to double down and insist I needed the repair. And the folks I talked with on the phone were talking about a single tree root (which the other company said was a tampon string), and were all talking very differently than the original tech. And they never refunded their original camera.
I'm really not sure what to make of their service. They were responsive and respectful, but very expensive, and tried to sell me on a repair that everyone else I talked to said I didn't need. Perhaps time will prove them right, but for now I cannot recommend their services.
Edit: After posting this review, I was contacted immediately by Kirkwood Plumbing, and after talking with the gentleman was offered a refund of my camera, said it would go through in a couple of days. However, it took nearly three weeks and another call to their accounting department to actually receive it. But I did receive the refund and again, everyone was very respectful. It was just a minor mistake that was easily rectified, but I can't say it was exactly the confidence inspiring remedy they might have hoped for.

The Chesterfield Service technician opened the drain too quickly when draining an old hot water heater and flooded the first floor unit below mine. The flood resulted in $1,400 of damage, of which I had to pay the $1,000 deductible. Chesterfield Service refuses to accept any responsibility, even though 2 other plumbing companies have said not testing the drain was irresponsible. They have not responded to my BBB complaint. I think they are not accepting responsibility for a simple mistake and leaving me with the $1,000 bill. I am very disappointed.

Called Tiger because of a busted pipe in my basement. Wanted $6k to dig up my backyard and replace the pipe. Unfortunately absolutely no one else ever returned my calls so I had to go with him. They took a couple days to replace the pipe (it was a big job) and they were late every day, usually by several hours. On time for lunch breaks though.
Came back home one day a few weeks later and raw sewage (the stench!) is coming up out my basement drain pipe.
Called them to look at it and they wanted ~$2k more do bust up the concrete on my basement floor and replace a (perfectly fine) pipe. My skepti-sense tingled and I analyzed all the photos of the work they did and realized they only connected 2 of the 3 pipes that go to the pipe they replaced. So my floor was jackhammered up again to get them to fix the overpriced job they didn't do right the first time and tried to charge me again to do work that didn't need to be done.
Would avoid at all costs.
EDIT: Never said house was anywhere near Chicago!

UPDATE:
Still DO NOT HIRE!!
To follow up to my previous review on Tom Douglas, the owner of H&L Contracting/H&L Services. He did follow through with paying my parents back for a double payment after his check bounced, but he only responded after I filed a complaint with the BBB and the State's Attorney's Office. And the shower that he completely replaced less than a month ago is now leaking into the basement. He's been notified, but hasn't responded.
