Best Air Duct Repair in Portland OR
My heat pump wouldn't shut off over night, even though I turned the thermostat off. Ryan Fineran came to the rescue on the same day, and checked everything over. Unfortunately, but fortunately, the problem stopped exhibiting itself once I turned the breaker back on for the system. Ryan still did his due diligence, checked what he needed to check, and walked me thru what he did. Is it a bummer we couldn't find a problem to fix? Maybe... Am I glad it's working now in the middle of summer? Yes, 100%. Ryan was a consummate professional thru and thru.

This was the second time i used Cornel's Plumbing. My new washer couldn't be hooked up to the water supply because my house has horrible PVC plumbing. The PVC pipe had become brittle and fused to the hot water valve. It was late in the afternoon when I called Cornel's, and they sent a plumber out the morning of the very next work day. Yay!!! Although he warned me the pipe could very likely break when he tried to remove it, it didn't, thank goodness. I was only charged his $150 trip fee. Double yay!!! Cornel's Plumbing will continue to be my preferred company in the future. I highly recommend them.

They were on time an cleared a partial. However in their video they mentioned extra work that should be done after I already had my septic tank inspected and they told me everything is in great working order. I'm trying to close on my house now and the buyer wants me to have extra work done because the employee keeps saying the baffle needs to be replaced. If you're not giving me warranty, then just tell me you completed the work that was asked of you. I can't help but feel that they were looking to add extra work to get paid for, when the work wasn't necessary.

Jackson Vargas is the best! I contacted several plumbers in the Portland area before going with Jackson. He came highly recommended. He is extremely knowledgeable. In fact he was trained by Toto to install their toilets. He advised me of issues that might arise during the installation and cleared them one by one. My bathroom was spotless when he left. He's your guy, especially if you're going to invest in a Toto toilet.

I had a toilet leak. I was able to get a same day appointment. The service was friendly and professional. I've used them to service my furnace also and I think I have found a company I will stay with for the long term.

Absolute scammers!! Needed a garbage disposal replaced and a small bathroom faucet replaced and the first words out of the plumbers mouth was him asking if we wanted a 'membership'. Then went on to quote 1500!!!! (The parts were 250. ) We paid the 75 bucks for him to try to scam us and will never call them again. Beware everyone!

These guys came recommended to me from social media and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! I waited until our first hot day to give them 5 stars because I wanted to make sure the new AC was everything we had dreamed of..IT WAS!! The employees for this company were great, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. They were able to install our AC faster than anticipated! Will absolutely recommend to our friends and family.

2023-2-24 Had my first maintenance tuneup on my 19 month old furnace. Matt B. is an excellent Tech. Answered all my questions and was very thorough. I highly recommend Sky Heating and am glad I chose them for my HVAC install.

I amused (and slightly horrified) Cornel with the challenge of a toilet clogged by a fish head (a deceased aquarium fish -- don't ask). They would have sent out a technician the very next morning but I failed to notice the text in time. When the tech did come out he was friendly, funny, sympathetic, and handled the problem in a minute or two. And the price was perfectly reasonable. Glad I stumbled upon this company!

I don't know how these guys are in business. Scheduled a home visit twice. Two no shows. Got an email from someone with an outrageous quote (wrong service quoted) without even seeing my house. Good luck in the real world fellas. Stay away from this company. Something is clearly wrong.

WARNING - RIP OFF!!! DO NOT USE!!!
I called D&F plumbing to get a broken sink drain plug and toilet bowl that wasn't filling properly fixed in my condo. I explained in detail the issues and what fixtures were used and they said they were very familiar with my building.
The plumber that showed up said he had never been in the building, looked at the issues for 5 minutes, and recommended replacing everything for over $1,000 which I declined. This felt very predatory and like they were trying to price gouge me.
I immediately called another plumber and they came out immediately and fixed the drain plug and toilet in less than an hour for $170.
D&F then charged my credit card for their service fee of $119, which I disputed with my credit card company and won since no services were performed.
Fast forward 4 months later and D&F's AR team has been harassing me stating that they are going to send me to collections if I don't pay. Needless to say I don't want to ruin my credit so after being harassed and pressured I went ahead and called to pay.
After giving the AR person my credit card number I was told that I was also going to be charged a penalty for making a dispute with my credit card company. Extremely predatory.
I have submitted a complaint to the BBB and will update this review based on the outcome to protect people considering using D&F in the future.
