Best Air Duct Installation in Portland OR
Its too bad that this company cannot get their scheduleing/customer service figured out. I called and made an appointment for between 8-10 am. I took work off in order to be home for the technician and NO ONE SHOWED UP. I had to call and ask what had happened. I got a phone call a few hours later with apologies that the customer rep was too busy and didn't get all her critical things done so my appointment was missed. And now I am out two and a half hours of work and my furnace still needs serviced.
Needless to say Im going with someone else.

This was the second time i used Cornel's Plumbing. My new washer couldn't be hooked up to the water supply because my house has horrible PVC plumbing. The PVC pipe had become brittle and fused to the hot water valve. It was late in the afternoon when I called Cornel's, and they sent a plumber out the morning of the very next work day. Yay!!! Although he warned me the pipe could very likely break when he tried to remove it, it didn't, thank goodness. I was only charged his $150 trip fee. Double yay!!! Cornel's Plumbing will continue to be my preferred company in the future. I highly recommend them.

Needed main sewer cleaning as it was completely blocked. Eulisese, Eli and Chad did a great job and also ran a scope thru the pipe (at no additional cost) to check the condition of the main sewer line.
The guys worked hard, were professional and really nice to talk to.
Will definitely join their maintenance plan when I get paid.

We called for an electrician to install the connector for our Tesla. They responded immediately and we're here at the agreed time. They are very courteous and professional. The job was done on time and for the agreed price. Highly recommend this company.

I had a toilet leak. I was able to get a same day appointment. The service was friendly and professional. I've used them to service my furnace also and I think I have found a company I will stay with for the long term.

We were unsure if we needed a full replacement of our furnace. The sales staff did an excellent job of giving us multiple different options at different price points without pressuring us to make a decision.. After settling on a heat pump, the install went very quick and smooth. The technician left no mess and the final price matched the initial quote with no hassle. As an added bonus the staff always wore protective lining around their shoes in our house without being asked. Great product and installation, but in the end the five stars were earned through high end service and a knowledgeable crew.

We called to get an install done on a high voltage charger for a new automobile. Not only did Braxton and Cody come prepared with a quote, but with several well thought options allowing us to commit. The surprise was they were ready to work, said 2-3 hours and were finished in exactly three hours with clean, professional, and legal install. Extremely professional and knowledgable. Glad I called on Sky again.

We had a damaged frost-free spigot that was installed when the house was built in 1961 (think lead solder and galvanized pipe). Beyond my ability to replace. Called Cornel's on Friday afternoon and they scheduled the repair for Monday morning. Kudos to Justin for crawling under the house. He removed the old spigot and replaced it with flexible tubing and a new spigot that can be removed from outside the house if it ever needs to be repaired or replaced.

An update to my review....
After speaking with manger in the office for Roth Heating, we discussed my issues and how I felt I had been steered wrong regarding their pricing compared to what would be considered comparative pricing, especially asking very specifically if that was what I would expect to pay from a competitor.
While we did not come to an agreement as to how specifically answering questions with wrong answers was or was not predatory, we were able to agree on a fair price for the job they did in my home. Coincidently, it was also the price of the high end estimate I had found in my area for this job.
I remain satisfied with the work itself, and my issue has been resolved. They DO do good work..just at a higher price than other companies. I still don't understand why the cost of living in my area should have any bearing on the cost of a standard ac repair.
He assured me the tech did not tell me that, yet AFTER assuring me how he was the most honest tech with 37 years at the company he still would not ask him directly if he told me that or not. My security cameras picked up the conversation. Either the tech would confirm he did in fact tell me this, or he is not as honest as they think.
I appreciated his willingness to make me feel like I did not pay a higher price than normal, even if he did not agree.
I would recommend them to anyone wanting good, reliable service...but would also suggest you research and know what you would expect to pay in your area from other companies BEFORE agreeing to the estimate.
I also raised my star rating from 1 to 3. This is because 1. The job was done, done quickly, and done right.
And 2. Because I do appreciate his willingness to work with me to a resolution when I felt I was misled into an over charge. That goes a LONG way with me.
Again, I would actually recommend them, but would caution you to do your research on cost first..know what the average cost of the job should be. There is a huge difference between a 1000.00 job, and a 2000.00 flat rate for the same job.

Very dissatisfied with the service I received. First off they were 2.5 hours late. Supposed to be here at 8:00 and finally arrived at 10:30 with not even an apology from the employee. When I called the office they were very nice, but could not reach the plumber who was scheduled to come to my house. Then he quoted a price of $2,495 to install a water softener. Everything I read about installing a water softener said it should be about $500 and if a loop is needed it should run no more than $900. Well guess what... I had the softener installed yesterday and it cost $875 and only because I did need a loop. Won't be calling D&F again!
