There was a small nail pop that resulted from the work and Marc personally came by 2 biz days later to fix it. You really can't do better than these guys, don't look elsewhere.

Quoted $185 for a badly clogged toilet, $250 to do it after hours, in the mid-high $300s if they needed to pull the toilet off the floor to get into the drain (they did not). They were able to come same day on a Friday night, right when they said they would, and got it done quickly. Took care not to dirty my floor with shoes or plumbing equipment, considerate with masking. Charged exactly as quoted. Boss Plumbing quoted me $385 for the same job and RotoRooter would not give a quote until they saw it (at which point you could reject service) but tried to come earlier than scheduled and then switched to the correct time slot, but by then Economy had already gotten there.

Boss Plumbing provided excellent service from start to finish, and they gave me good advice as a new home owner. I originally called them to move my laundry sink, but they also installed new water lines, shut off valves, and they corrected the laundry room piping. I called them in the morning and they were able to come out the same day to assess the situation with the work occurring the next day. From the beginning, they were able to identify that I needed new shut off valves for the water supply and that the existing piping configuration was not providing proper drainage. Warren and DJ completed the work, and they were knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I will definitely call them again for servicing my radiator and for any plumbing needs.

Warning: this will not be a short review. You can't boil down greatness into a couple of sentences.

I originally contacted Aqua Plumbing and Heathing to have a faucet installed outside on the front of my wall. I gathered some estimates from them and others but chose to pick Aqua based on their high ratings (well deserved) and their customer service ettiquette and super quick response times. Mike was here later that same week to look at the desired location on the front of my house, the current plumbing and the fixture I provided. He provided a fair estimate and was able to complete the work that same day in not much time at all. His attention to detail, professionalism and humor are all top-notch. He definitely went above and far beyond with providing a clean installation with a relatively simple job.

With such a great experience the first time, I decided to reach back out to have all of the plumbing from my bathroom and main drain/vent stack replaced. I also wanted to replace a leaky tee fitting that was dripping onto a black iron gas pipe directly beneath it and the gas pipe itself. This was definitely a big job in such an old house since there was cast iron, a waste/vent stack that ran outside from the bathroom and entered back through the basement to the main sewer and a lot of old school engineering involved.

No matter what challenges were thrown, unexpected leaks from bad joint connections, routing piping around windows, etc, Mike and Bobby handled everything on the fly with amazing results. Just like the previous job, the quality of the work was absolutely impeccable. Everything looks as if it came originally with the house and I can't think of anything more to improve any of the new work. It's rare that I completely trust anyone with working on my house but with Mike and crew there was never a doubt/concern in my mind. Now we have all new up to code infrastructure with room to update/repair/replace much more easily in the future. Even on post work walk through, Mike provided some recommendations to replace my water heater with a shorter model of same capacity due to how the exhaust was currently routed incorrectly. The attention to detail can not be emphasized enough!

No matter what work you're looking to have done, Aqua is the best. Period. We will be using them again for future work we have planned and recommending them others in need of plumbing work.

I woke up one morning with a flooded basement and called several plumbing companies.  I had a plumber tell me it was my main line drain that was clogged.  John not only responded to my yelp request at 7am but called me! Anthony and Zach from JSnyder were the techs and they were both so knowledgeable and respectful of my home. They came right in looked at the water and found the source. I am a first time home buyer this year and this was the first large homeowner wow. The guys arrived around 12:30 and were done by 2! According to my mother the pricing was fair and that was all I ask..Quality, Trusting and Fair.

I don't' give 5 stars unless the business goes above and beyond.  
I wanted to leave a review for Kit from Plumbing N Things because he totally deserves it.

I live just outside of Washington DC and my elderly mom lives out in Philly by herself.  She'd been having issues with her toilet and the water not filling up properly after she flushes. All she could say is that she hears leaky sounds every couple of hours.  

I finally scheduled an appointment with  another company rated high on yelp, drove up to Philly to be there for my mom and no one showed up!!! The other company gave me excuses about the other job taking so long and forgot to call us and said they can come another day.  Are you kidding me???

Frustrated and angry I continued down the list for another week calling and leaving messages.

Kit from Pluming N Things got back to me right away.  He was so nice on the phone and told me that I didn't have to drive up from DC again.  He offered to go out to my mom's place the following day and face timed me to explain what the problem was, gave me an estimate and because it wasn't a huge issue, he offered to fix the problem right away.

I saved 6 hours of RT driving time, toll, gas, and not to mention he was really nice on the phone and facetime, AND he didn't rip off an elderly lady and take advantage of her.

Rick Lucas Plumbing was awesome. He was referred to me by two different people. I called him because my 11 year old heater broke. He was out the next morning. He installed a new water heater and replaced the old corroded fittings. He did a beautiful job. He was fast, efficient, courteous and explained everything before he did it. There was no hidden or extra cost. He removed the old heater too. I highly recommend Lucas Plumbing. He knows his stuff!

After receiving a call from the water department about my $300 outstanding bill I knew it had to be from the toilet in our powder room. I had called a different local plumber from the yellow pages 2 weeks prior and never got a return call. So I tried again, this time via yelp and selected Miller Plumbing. They are local and had positive reviews. He was very responsive and fit me in that same day as he had another call in the neighborhood. He was on time, and diagnosed and solved the problem immediately and explained why, although the toilet is getting older, there was no need to replace it. He also took care of a local neighbor who called him when I told them he was visiting me that day. Miller Plumbing is now the only call I will make.

We came back from a vacation to no hot water.we called 3 competitors who offered emergency same day services. These guys were the only one to actually schedule and came out within 2hours. I wouldn't expect that turn around always but it made a great impression. Friendly, personable and professional service. Reasonably priced without the hard sell on additional services.

Our sump pump broke and our basement flooded. I contacted Bommer after hours through yelp asking questions and getting quotes and they responded right back to me! They came the next next morning and installed our new sump pump. Jim was so helpful and knowledgeable! Thank you again Jim!

OMG- they were a life saver!!! My master shower has been slowly clogging over the years but last night, it was totally clogged. I contacted Zip to Zip this morning and they were out in less than an hour!! And then he cleared it in 10 minutes and was so reasonably priced. I cannot say enough about this business. I cannot recommend Chris Williams enough. Chris has done many jobs for our family in both our previous home and our new home. He installed an entire master bathroom addition for us as well as other smaller jobs and repairs. Most recently Chris has helped us during a water main clog right before the holidays when we had family visiting and we're in a major pinch! If we had not hired him for the job, we would very likely have ended up with waste water overflowing in our first floor kitchen and bathroom on Christmas Eve!

He has gone above and beyond in many ways - from being available via text and cell at late hours, to taking the time to fully explain in layman's terms the details of every job he has done. He lets you know why he recommends the solution he is proposing as well as gives you options. He clearly thinks through each situation with care and does what is best for the homeowner. He and his team have always been courteous and kind, and on top of it all, his prices are very fair and reasonable. Nic came out promptly to replace my shower diverters and some eroded pipes in the back. He was quick, professional and explained everything he did. I'll be using him for all my future plumbing/HVAC needs, and the best part is, he is a local small business owner.

Called for an emergency assistance and was told I can expect a technician within an hour. One hour goes by and no technician. I then call the receptionist and she connects me with one of the plumbers who said it would be about another hour; which I was fine with. Then four hours go by and no word from the plumber and the receptionist can't get a hold of them. Terrible service and completely unprofessional.

Best choice was negligent, they took my money (1,700) didn't perform worthy work. and refused to correct the problem.
