I had another company yesterday come tell me that A) I need the system pumped B) I have drain field issues due to high water levels C) the drain field would cost around 5k to fix/replace if need be so. I was not a happy camper last night.
Lapin was recommended to me by a close friend, and Chris came out same day and found that my filter was clogged (not even checked by company A). That was my one and only problem. As soon as he pulled the filter, the water levels went back to normal, and he charged me the bare minimum. I don't even need a pump out for another 2-3 years. Talk about honesty. Thank you for being a stand up company, saved me at least 300 bucks all the way up to 5,000. Thank you Chris.

5 STARS all the way!! After foolishly spending 3 days and about 100 bucks on various liquid plumber type crap as well as first a 10 foot long snake and then a 25 foot long snake I finally gave up and began what I thought would be a frustrating hunt for a reasonably priced plumbing professional. I needn't have concerned myself. Within a 1/2 hour of putting my request for a plumber through Yelp I heard from Florida Rooter as well as a couple other plumbers. But it was Florida Rooter's pleasant, professional and concerned reply, as well as a reasonable ballpark price for my issue (a stubborn clogged drain), that made me contact them right away. Within minutes of leaving them a message they called and we set up a mutually agreeable time for them to come by. Very simply this is what happened, they arrived ON TIME, Russell politely introduced himself, reviewed the issue with me and got right to work immediately. He found and solved the problem in short order and charged us what had been quoted on line. He cleaned up completely after himself (in fact, the room looked BETTER than when he began his work!). He left us his contact info on a refrigerator magnet and thanked US for allowing Florida Rooter to do the job. In a nutshell, if you have ANY type of plumbing issue, don't wait, just call Sharon or Russell at Florida Rooter. You'll be glad you did. Thanks Russell! 5 STARS all the way!

Ark came out quickly and right on time. We called them to empty the septic on our new home to establish service and with a clean slate. After seeing their truck around town, and laughing at their slogan, we thought we'd give them a chance. Glad we did!

Andrew of Orlando City Plumbing was incredible to work with. He fit me when he found out how long my water heater had been out. (I didn't want to pay emergency rate, so willing to wait. But he went above and beyond to fit me in within 48 hours.)
He and his assistant were very personable and kind. I'm a 63-year-old woman who is alone, so when someone treats me as Andrew did, I want to encourage anyone to hire him.
He also was the lowest priced! So great service and great prices is a winning combination and you should hire them.

Although my review is quite tardy, I am remembering to do it now as I will be calling them this morning for service for my own home.
This past summer of 2017 my mother was told by two doctors that they believed she had a cancerous tumor. Our family was devastated but prayed and worked to get her in to the best medical teams everywhere.
In the middle of the turmoil their refrigerator had some major problem all of a sudden and it was simply one more thing that just felt overwhelming to them. My father went so far as to ask me to simply call a store to send a new refrigerator to them for the next day! I remembered Blue Sky from having used them once before and I told my parents I would call them before they drastically got a new refrigerator.
I called, explained how I needed to see if they could come over right away and help. They shifted some things around and went over nearly immediately! They assessed the problem and found it to be rather simple overall, even with an older refrigerator, fixed it all on the spot and didn't want to charge them full price because they saw the pain and stress on my father's face. He insisted on paying them.
They told my father that they would be praying for my mother and that they would keep her in their prayers. It still brings tears to my eyes thinking of their kindness.
A week afterward the results came back that she had been misdiagnosed and what they thought was a tumor would be reabsorbed into her body. We thanked everyone for praying for her - the prayers of everyone, Blue Sky Plumbing included, meant the world to us.
Amazing customer service that was above and beyond and genuine kindness and concern. Thank you all again!

I was without a washer and dryer for months, and Modern Plumbing came within 3 days and fixed it within 30 minutes. Thomas was by far the best service man that I've ever worked with, very friendly, transparent and helpful. I will 100% be using this company for all of my future plumbing needs. Hats off to Thomas for being so great

Called twice--they hung up on me both times. Asked on second call, can you hear me? She responded, Yes, I can hear you. Click. Rude.

Very nice guy. He wants to work.
He did an estimate for me.
But it was high. However to be fair to him.
I don't have others to compare it with.
I do think there is other ways to get a washer and dryer done in my garage. I have to explore this a bit more. Before I say yes or no... I would say give him a chance.

I called Pro-Tech yesterday to get a toilet flush repair done, and they accommodated me by sending someone out the next day on my day off. The office didn't call in advance, but two plumbers came and were early in the window of time they gave me, so that worked well for me. They repaired the toilet and also replaced the flapper in another one that was aging. I signed up for their annual inspection plan, and they said I could end it at any time. That saved me money today, and I think will be good for maintenance in the long run. Nice guys too! Thank you, Pro-Tech.

Came out within 2 hours of call to fix leak in the evening. Did good job. Only negative is had to run to ATM to get cash since repairman didn't have his credit card reader.

Made an appointment and they gave me a 4 hour( 8am-12pm) Around 11am I decided to call them and ask what is the status and I got a call back from Marcus stating that they are running behind and that the new time will be around 1230pm and at that point I told him 4 hours of waiting is long enough and another 1/2 an hour is too much. I decided to cancel at that point, It's a half day wasted doing nothing and just waiting for the service that you are going to pay for so I would be very careful using their service unless you don't care about your time being wasted.

Had a Pipe leak in my walls. Roto-Rooter fixed the issue but had an issue with communication and left lots of damage.
After the mold mitigation was completed I didn't hear from anyone after that for a week or two. After a few weeks the tech that had visited texted me late one Saturday and said Hey, you're on the schedule for tomorrow morning to start the drywall removal. Not asking if I'm free, told me I was scheduled. I told him I hadn't heard from my insurance company. He never responded to my text. No one came the next day, on Sunday. My Insurance said they hadn't before but they agreed to once I called since there was still actively mold in my bedroom. I texted the tech and told him they had approved the work and asked when they would want to come start. He said Ok and that was the last time I heard from him.
The next day I got a text from my roommates at 2PM (While I was at work) that 3 Roto-Rooter employees were at the house with trucks asking to access my bathroom. No one confirmed a time/date beforehand or called me when they were on the way. They just showed up expecting to work. I had to leave work immediately to go home in order to meet them. Unfortunately, my roommates let them into my room to begin work when I was on my way home. The Roto-Rooter techs said that they would need to remove all of the bottom section of my whole closet, not just the one wall the pipe was leaking in and that all my personal items that were pushed to the side needed to be moved. They moved all my personal belongings from my closet without my permission, instead of waiting 20 minutes for me to get home. These items included all of my clothes, 2 guns handed down to me from my grandfather, three 8-foot delicate model swords, and many other personal items. When I got home I found all of my stuff from my closet in my living room. One of my swords is broken now and was $300. My whole bathroom was sealed off with sheeted plastic. Since I wasn't home when they started, I was not able to access anything that was in my bathroom. All of my toiletries were walled off by plastic and I had to go to Walmart late that night and buy a whole new set of items because I was not home before they started.
The next day 2 more employees showed up (Again, without calling or texting beforehand). When they brought fans into my home, they used the garage door and brought them in through the kitchen. They were not careful in the process and they caused 2 huge scratches in my stainless steel refrigerator and multiple small scuffs on the wall before my closet. They were gone before I got home from work.
After this visit I asked the employees to please at least text me when they are on their way over so I could make sure I was home from work (I had asked multiple times before but was stern about making a point that it needed to be done before they show up from here on out). They said they would try. They texted me about 1/3 the time before showing up. One time an employee texted me at 10:30PM asking if he could come that night and check on my closet. Another day 2 techs showed up Sunday morning at 10AM without asking beforehand expecting to work on the job site aka my bathroom.
Upon the equipment removal I found that the techs used a staple gun in my ceiling to secure the plastic tarp. They only yanked the plastic down, and as such there are still staples all over the ceiling in my bathroom and closet. They also used painters tape as well as staples, and when they yanked the plastic down it ripped out portions of the popcorn ceiling.
Roto-Rooter indicated that they would reduce my overall invoice by just under $300.00 to help reimburse me for the damages they had left me. It is now over a month after they have been paid and they have no intention of following through on their word. Overall mediocre repair/restoration, almost no communication or common sense in respecting a homeowner with scheduling. Intentionally will mislead with what they promise and not follow up or quality of care once they're paid. Avoid at all costs.

We had a leak on our master bedroom ceiling so we called them to check for a potential pipe leak. The upstairs shower is right above the leak. We also told them the shower faucet had loose piping and would constantly drip.
They came and said the leak was from the roof, the piping for shower was just fine and they would charge $480 just to fix the dripping faucet. So they did nothing.
After calling a roofer and filed a claim with insurance, a water restoration company came and quickly found the issue. It was a leaky pipe from the shower drain. Thankfully, we were able to cancel the claim and the unnecessary work on the roof. Another plumber came and took care of the issue.
Roto-Rooter could have easily found and fixed this but instead simply assumed the leak was from roof and did nothing. Will never call them again.

Very unprofessional and do not communicate once hired.
Holland plumbing came out to look at capping off a shower and adding as shower to a tub. I agreed to the price for my project, I signed the contract, and scheduled the work. I asked them to fill out paperwork for approval for our condo board association, a standard practice for most condo associations.
I called repeatedly and emailed several times, but no one answered or returned my calls. When my condo manager called them, her call was taken immediately. When she told them who she was, she was informed that her boss was thinking of passing on my project due to all the complications. The manager asked if they do work in residential condos, she replied yes. The manager informed them that our condo paperwork is pretty standard, proof of insurance and agree to work in the hours of 9-5.
NO ONE from Holland plumbing contacted me to inform me that they were not going to do the job I hired them to do.
My plumbing job was pretty simple and basic. Why did they pass on my project? Do they not have insurance? Do they not guarantee their work?
I had tile, cabinets and a contractor ready to go. I was left high and dry.

I had three toilets that continued to fill! This being my first home I wasn't even sure how to begin to mess with a toilet. I called Roto rooter...1. They showed up late 2. The gentleman did minor repairs not sure what. He said he replaced flappers and two pumps. 3 the bill was $400. 4 He was at my house less than an hour. I went to Home Depot the following day and priced all the parts for less than 45!!! The flappers being 97 cents! That's $355 in labor! Outrageous! Last time I ever call a specialist. I ended up replacing the flappers myself a week later because the toilet continued to run since the silicone flappers he put in we're so cheap they would move around. I learned my lesson! YouTube that sh$&!!
