I am so impressed with the service of Brownies. I had an emergency situation and when all other companies in my area couldn't help me until Monday morning l Brownies came to our rescue on the weekend. Thank you to Marcus for the prompt and friendly service and Angela for being so nice, knowledgeable and helpful! This was a 5 star experience and I'm happy to recommend this great company!

Brownie's responded very quickly to my request. I did not get their call at 12:49 PM on the Feb. 10, but I called them back at my next availability at 2:30 PM on Feb. 10. The woman was very friendly and we booked an appointment for Feb. 12 1-5 PM and I secured the time off from work. Waiting on Friday, I decided to call at 4:47 PM because I had not heard from anyone from Brownie's. I was informed that there was no appt. listed for me. I was then asked if I would like to reschedule for Monday or Tuesday. I have already missed 4 hours of work and was unwilling to lose more for another unreliable experience.
Update...very disappointed. My septic pump alarm went off and brownie came out to evaluate. The repairman said that somehow the pump fell into the tank. He repositioned the pump and I was good to go. Now I spent over 10k 2.5 years ago with Brownie for a complete new septic system. The repairman agreed If the pump was installed properly there is NO REASON a pump should just fall into the tank when it's underground. He said he would call his manager and see if they would wave the fee for him to come out. NOPE... Brownie won't stand behind their work because it had been over 2 years. Mounting a pump improperly so it falls into The tank is not my fault. Nor is it equipment failure. It's incompetence and I shouldn't have to pay Brownie for that. I expected more from a company that I've recommended to friends and family in the past.
(Past review) Absolutely amazing. I called them at 3:30pm because all of my toilets were backing up while I had family in town. Unbelievably, they show up about an hour later. I couldn't believe it. The technician took his time and explained the problem in detail and was able to fix it quickly. I've never had such great customer service!
My husband had lung surgery and our toilet broke on that weekend. Thank God for Jason who came right over and did the repair. Jason was keep kind, personable and a great plumber. I highly recommended this company.

We hired brownies to do a large job at our condo complex. In the beginning they were very responsive, but faded as the job progressed. They cleaned one building, which later had a significant backup causing them to not work with us to finish up several items beyond the scope of the original contract. We had to supervise the storm drain cleaning very closely and the operator of the vacuum truck skipped several drains which they had to come back another day to finish up. He told me they had cleaned when obviously they had not. Very frustrating
This company is a fraud. They pumped my septic system in April 2022. Tenants started to have sewer issues a few month later. I hired another to inspect and they found that the inlet tank was not pumped. Don't use this company for anything. The inlet tank was packed with solid.
I'm disappointed in the level of customer service and lack of professionalism. It was a waste of money. I will not be using this company in the future and do not recommend them for anyone else.
They came to vacuum my septic tank out. They arrived in a timely basis, the tech was professional, and they did a good job. It would have been five stars if it stopped there. However, during the process he pulled the screen out and rinsed it off. With my water. In three minutes. They charged $65 for that. It was NOT in the quote and he did NOT say anything about it until it was bill time. At the end of what should have been a positive experience, I felt ripped off. Very short sighted on their part - they lost me as a customer.
Zero srars! I have used Brownies in the past and had a good experience. However this time was just terrible! They made me wait for 6 hours, for nothing. I made an appointment a week in advance, the day of the appointment I called after waiting for 4 hours and they told me they would try to find out what time the tech would be there and call me back. After an hour and nothing, I call back again and get the same run around. An hour after that I got a vm from the tech saying that if I don't call back in 5 minutes my appointment gets bumped! WTF?? I call back 20 minutes later only to speak to a jerk that said he was the operation manager and that basically my business was not important to him. He got very rude when I asked him if it was fair to make me wait for over 7 hours, but he can't wait more than 5 minutes.

Wow.... what can I say?
I called Brownies at 8 am on Thursday morning, and talked to the most delightful employee called Misty.
I explained that we had a puddle of smelly water formed in the yard and that we were panicking over this.
Misty jumped straight on things and managed to get us booked in for an emergency diagnostic appointment later the same morning.
Within a couple of hours, Thomas arrived and got straight to work.
He discovered a small septic holding tank at the side of our house, that we didn't even know existed. After a great deal of effort and perseverance, he managed to remove the welded on, metal septic lid, and found out that the system needed pumping out right away, and then a new Grinder-Pump installing, as the old one had failed, hence the backup we were experiencing. This pump pushed the waste through to our main City sewer line.
These guys are awesome, and if I could give them 10 stars I would.
Massive shout-out to Misty and Thomas. Exceptional Service. You guys have a customer here for life.
Thank you.
Invoice number P24697. Avoid this company at all possible costs. I have videos, pictures, and email records to back all of the following claims. My significant other and I hired Brownie's Septic and Plumbing to adjust the plumbing under our new kitchen sink as well as install new bathroom faucets. When the plumber initially came out for a quote, Thursday, he came to see what parts would be necessary to complete the job. Him and my significant other had a detailed conversation about how a specific part would be needed to mount the garbage disposal to the sink. Come Friday, I was present when the work began. When the plumber got to the kitchen sink I hear him start to huff and puff, very obviously trying to indirectly get my attention. I go over to see what's wrong, we have literally the exact same conversation about the same missing piece that was previously discussed with my significant other the day before. Why is this the second time this conversation is being held? Why are you acting like this is the first time you're seeing this? No doubt an attempt to lengthen the span of the project and drive up the cost. A flexible slip-joint pipe was used underneath the kitchen sink leading out of the garbage disposal, this is not to code as confirmed by a former maintenance supervisor for the city of Orlando. It is also very obviously not to code as every couple of weeks the pipe fails, water and food scraps come gushing out of the cabinet below the sink. Moving on to the bathroom faucets, all three were installed despite them being completely unusable. Water was literally shooting beyond the edge of the countertop onto the floor. These faucets could not be used or returned, because the plumber had made the decision to throw the boxes for them in the trash without my approval, putting us out around $150. This is a new construction property with multiple large dumpsters on site, being able to located the boxes was not possible. A quoted 2.5 hour job turned into a 4 day ordeal with work that is not to code. Staff is rude and combative when discussing scheduling and payment.
Called Brownies about drainfield financing for my mother in law who lives in the area. A gentleman by the name of Ryan answered the phone, and called me James. When I stated that I wanted to speak to someone about financing options, I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes.
Ryan introduced himself as a salesman, and once I stated that I was not interested in speaking with him, I just wanted to know about financing he passed the buck.
If they cannot even provide service before the service, what should make me think that they can provide service after the sell???
Based upon the reviews I agree DO NOT USE BROWNIES!!! Lapin services however took my information, and provided me with all of the information I needed. We will be using them!! AJ

Had my toilets both clogged and called them 1am on Thursday, their on call plumber called back in less than two minutes, listened to my situation and offered a solution to pump out my tank. He forwarded my info to the pump tech on call. The pump tech called back in under a minute and said he could make an open a slot for me on Friday morning and hearing my desperation even kindly said the he would leave me on the appt screen while I called around to see if someone could come sooner. No one else in town was able to come before Monday evening!!
Misty graciously called me promptly Thursday at 8am to follow up on the situation and verify the appt.
Gene came out on Friday to pump out my tank. Not only did he do a great job at carefully not destroying my lawn, but in explaining everything and answering all my questions. He even went above and beyond by making sure my drain was cleared correctly and operating as it should.
Misty called back as soon as his truck pulled away to make sure everything went smooth and answer any questions I had.
All in All I received not only outstanding performance, but stellar customer service. I have been using Brownies since I bought my house and have never been disappointed.
Well i guess if you wait long enough a company will show its true color. Brownies quoted me $50 to mark my septic and drain field and they knew I needed it asap in order to have other work done on the yard. On the day of the appointment and the time of the appointment the young lady called me and informed me that she made an error and it wasn't going to be $50 but instead $175 and the most she could do was give me $10 off.
Considering I've used them for years at 2 houses meant zero to them. They also called without enough notice to call and get a different company. Our employees have made mistakes in my business but we honor their quotes even if we lose money because that is what you SHOULD DO!
BOO BROWNIES. you're arrogant now because business is good but your time will come when a competitor will provide a better service at a better price. I don't blame the young lady who misquoted me because i could tell she felt horrible, I blame the company for the way they handled the situation.
We needed to have one of our spigots fixed on the outside of our home. Thomas called us to let us know he was 45 minutes away and to make sure we would be there. Thomas arrived on time, and walked us through what he would need to do. Thomas was excellent, and did an amazing job! We high recommend them!
I made the terrible mistake of referring this company to one of our property investors that resides out state. Problems started to happen almost immediately. They missed quoted and of course had to charge more. They missed the well, which you would literally trip over. They didn't keep anyone informed of the problems. I had to get involved because of the poor communications and bad working relationships with their vendors. Their well company they said the always use wouldn't return their calls. What does that tell ya? They wouldn't take responsibility for their incompetence and it ended up costing the property owner thousands more than initially quoted. The worst part was they had the yard dug up for so long with raw sewage being pumped into opening that the horrific smell chased the $1800.00 month tenant away. I gave the owners of the company a call to see if they would step up and do the right thing......They didn't so beware...use anyone else but Brownies. I will.
Thank you for the great Service!!, with my septic needs, very professional and helpful, thank you again will definitely recommend you guys...
I would never recommend Brownie's Septic. They do not put the customer first. They are OK for just pumping out your septic tank but I would never hire them again to do anything else. Not honest. I found out they were trying to sell me something I didn't need.
Stay Away!!

Please don't use Brownie's Septic and Plumbing!! Truly the worst experience of my life!! I had met someone from Brownie there to point out our septic problem. They proceeded to send someone else who had not spoken to the man I met with. I have two Septic tank and they rebuilt the wrong tank! Knowing what they had done, and knowing it was their mistake, they did not take responsibility, charging me for the work on the second tank. The work on the second tank was not complete in a timely manner as promised. I would have taken them to court but was in the middle of refinancing so I paid them as they had taken a lien on my property. All the while having insufficient bathroom accommodations.
HORRIBLE!!!
I called for a plumber today because my toilet has backed up and my whole house smells like a septic tank. They told me that they couldn't give me a time, but promised they would be here today. I WASTED THE ENTIRE DAY AND THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!! I called three times and each time I was told to be patient, they will be there. The last time I called it was about 4:45PM. I was concerned because they would be closing at 5. The receptionist said she would call the technician and call me right back. Now its after 5PM. I tried to call and I got a recording saying, We're sorry. This number is no longer accepting calls. Try your call later. WTH!!!
NEVER USE BROWNIE'S SEPTIC AND PLUMBING!!!
They finally showed up about 7:15PM and fixed my plumbing issue in about 20 minutes. I'm so relieved I almost want to give them another star.
... Maybe tomorrow when I'm not still angry.

I called Brownie's about a month ago for a leaking main water line. The lady on the phone said they would call me back, they never did ! How places like this stay in business is beyond me !
Where to start. They will reschedule your appointment and not notify you. They did this to me 3 times. My septic drain was broken and despite being 24/7 it seemed impossible to get them to follow up. They seemed to like to come out, charge you a fee to assess a problem, then schedule a later appointment to fix it to double up on service call fee.
No one in the office seems to understand what's going on. Why was I rescheduled - I dont know.
The third time they rescheduled without notifying me, I had been waiting 3 hours for them. Decided to call them. They had no idea why I was rescheduled. Told me they would send someone out. I get a call from their plumber saying he can come out. I ask him if he can complete the 3 issues I was having with my septic. No, he can't, he doesn't have the tools. He can only do one. I ask him if anyone has any idea what's going on there. He gave me a genuine reply of Honestly, no one does. I thanked him for his honesty and told him I wouldn't need their service.

Very disappointing. I would give less than a 1 if I could. I had a possible leak coming from underneath house, which had been wetting rug. Due to using this company before I called. I got someone and they informed me that someone could come out on day I called (Wed). I waited and called for an update and they informed technician Frank would be calling around 1:30-2 to let me know when he was 30 min away. This all seemed reasonable. Well 3:30 came and I had not heard so I called and this time was informed no one was coming today because all jobs were pushed back. Disappointed, but OK to learn I would get a call by end of day to tell me when they could come which would be a few days. Well, disappointing again no one called. I received a call Thursday while I was working to say they could be there at 3 because of a cancellation. It was 2:30 when they called. Needless to say, no one was at the house since I was working and this is a house we have a renter in. I did get a spill from the technician (Frank) about how extremely busy they were. I didn't cancel, but implied I should probably get another company that was going to be able to have time to come out and assess the situation. Unfortunately, still disappointed in this company as No one from scheduling or customer service has called back to check or ask if I still wanted someone to come out. I would tell all to choose another company that could give you updates and not have you waiting around all day for nothing.

I have had them out twice to service our grey water tank and pump. They've been awesome both times. The first time they told us our pump probably had some life left in it and we should give it a shot and save some money. It finally crapped out 3 weeks later and Carlos was amazing. He replaced the pump for us and unclogged a hidden second trap we didn't know was on the side of the house. Our kitchen line finally drained the right way. They're punctual and respectful. Highly recommend!
I was informed by Brian a week ago before scheduling my appointment that the cost of cleaning the septic tank is based on the size of the tank. My appointment was scheduled between 8am-12pm. The technician skipped my appointment because I didn't answer my phone when he called. I was informed by the receptionist that I would need to be home between the time scheduled so payment can be made at the time of service. After waiting for the driver to arrive at 11:30am . I received a call from Misty informing me that their will be an additional charge of $200 for cleaning the tank. After going back and forth with Misty about the additional cost that Brian or the receptionist did not informed me of, I went outside to speak to the technician that wasn't pleasant, he told me that the call was canceled per his manager since I was not prepared to pay the additional $200 for the services. I called Misty back and requested a manager. She said the manager went to lunch and will call me back once he return. As of today I have not received a call back from anyone. My first experience with this company was really disappointing. Half of my day was held up by services that I never received and the communication was really poor. I plan to call and schedule an appointment with someone else.
Call because they pumped my septic tank April 2021 and was having water back up in my shower, my plumber checked had no blockage said it was septic system, ask to have my
System checked to see if need to be pumped, guy came husband was here and he just pumped the tank told my husband it might last a week charge $375 and did nothing didn't do anything at all. When we got report it said drain field draining slow. The guy never mentioned it to my husband. So they pumped basically water that didn't need to come out.

Brownies came out and assured us the clog was fixed but it wasn't as it still leaked that same evening. When requested to come back out the said it would be another $389 to fix what they didn't fix the first time.
I needed a new septic system system put in on my property due to an existing septic system being out of code compliance. The good - they were responsive and got the project permitted, scheduled, and I now have a working septic system.
What I am not happy with:
(1) I was given the final invoice when the construction started (~9/16). The site was covered on 9/21 and I immediately contacted my project coordinator with some concerns that day. She came out on 9/22 and sent a crew to fix issues with the site covering on 9/24. I got a certified letter that same day (9/24) warning that my property would be liened if I didn't pay. I think it is a rude business practice to send certified letter lien warnings while there are still issues being sorted out.
(2) I think that the construction was completed in a whatever is easiest is best manner with little care to how the resulting mound would affect stormwater drainage on my property. Maybe it isn't standard practice for septic systems, but I would have loved to see a sketch of where they were putting things and a calculation of how high the resulting mound would be in my yard. I was unpleasantly surprised by both where the septic tank was placed and how high the resulting mound was based on conversations I had had with the project coordinator.
The tank was placed within code requirements but too close to my house, so the resulting mound traps water next to my house. When I brought this up to my project coordinator, I was told it only needed 2-3 of fill dirt covering the tank (whereas the drainfield needed 6-8), so it wouldn't be as big of an issue as I expected. However, the covering crew dumped 7 of dirt there, which I could compact to ~5. When they came back to fix it, the crew argued with me that I didn't shouldn't remove anything and ended up relocating 8 wheelbarrows full to the side yard, where they had to add more dirt to the old septic tank due to it not being compacted at all (my leg sunk to my knee in the old tank when stepping where the old tank was).
Conclusion: I have a functioning septic system, but am unsatisfied by the the execution and the state of my yard post-construction.
Brownies was contracted to do a pumpout before i moved into the house i bought. The tech took a picture of himself doing the pumpout and said the system is,in great shape. He was wrong. A month after we moved in the septic system started backing up into the house. I called another company to come out and they informed me brownies never pumped out the back half of the tank. They used a small hole in the top of the tank instead of sliding the lid to do a proper pumpout. The tank was cracked and full of roots. Had brownies pumped it out correctly they would have seen this. Youre supposed to look in the tank and they did not. Its not possible to look through a hole that small. Now i need a whole new tank and drainfield. Dont trust brownies. After contacting management they gave me a bunch of excuses but did not adress the roots in my tank.
I have been using Brownie's service for many years. They have the best service at the right price. My favorite tech is Torrance. He has a great smile and is very mellow. He is very smart and knows what he is doing. He never leaves a mess when he is done pumping the tank.
Brownie's provides great and timely service. They help me with both my home and business plumbing needs. Additionally, I own my own commercial real estate brokerage and routinely recommend them to my clients and receive back great feedback.
I have used Brownies for a number of years (every 3-4 years), most recently 17 months ago. We needed a septic inspection as required by potential home buyers so after pricing, found another company that was $90 less.
As they got to work, they found thick tree roots that had to be dug up before the tank could be pumped - roots that could not have gotten that large in just one year. They also told me there was no way the amount of solids that were in the tank could have accumulated over just 17 months. What a mess. I called Brownies and they said the work was done by their 'best' man. Really????
Brownie's is amazing! We had them come out to check behind Total Septic when after Total Septic had pumped our tank, it was full in 3 weeks. Nate and William were so helpful and found that the previous company had left wires above ground causing our pump to trip. They did not charge for pumping as they said we didn't need to pump it, since once our pump was back on and running that would take care of our issue. We ended up paying just a service fee. William also took the time to give us tips on maintaining and troubleshooting, really great customer service! We can't thank them enough and we will recommend Brownies to everyone we know!

Mark Wilson was very friendly, on time and extremely professional on July 8, 2019. He supplied and installed new water lines in my attic. The price was very reasonable and water is restored thanks to Mark & Brownie's! I couldn't be any happier... :)

SCAM! RUN! I also made the mistake of choosing this company for an out of state buyer. Confusion from the very beginning. Two days after they told me they would be there. Under contract so time was important. They told me we needed the complete drain field re-hauled dug up! Only $3,500 rough estimate! Very pushy about making an appointment to schedule this asap. I said wait a minute, I'm getting another opinion, which we did and there was NOTHING wrong with the drain field. They called me again to schedule and I said I was not comfortable with their opinion and was getting another opinion and if it was okay, I would be asking for my client's money back for the inspection. He said good luck and hung up on me! What a bunch of scam artists!!!!!

An absolutely horrible customer service experience, especially with Bob Howard, their business development person, who clearly doesn't care about how his company communicates. We were told that it was $175 to come out, but that it would be included towards any repairs. When the invoice was sent, I asked Bob if that was the best price he could give me. He offered to give me a $300 discount. Great! But he didn't bother telling me that the $175 would no longer apply towards the work. Typical bait and switch. So I was in fact getting a $125 discount. I decided to not move forward with the work because I don't deal with dishonest people.
I wound up contacting All Florida Septic. They don't charge you to come out. Brownies had informed that to clear out our lift station they would need a vactor truck and the cost would be $1525. A different servicer told me that was overkill and I would have been ripped off at that price.
I'd rather go down my self and scoop out the sludge with a spoon than deal with dishonest people like Bob Howard again.
Had a major issue with our
septic tank and Brownies came in for the win and fixed everything! I couldn't have asked for better service, thanks to the manager Marcus!

Please read this review and others before contacting this company. My experience was much like that of many others. They set appointments and then you wait around all day for them not to show up. I originally contacted them on Saturday and they set up an appointment for Monday between 2-5. I coordinated someone to be home at that time however, they showed up at 10. Next appointment was set for Friday between 2-5. My husband took off from work early to make sure someone was home. At 4:00, I contacted the office to ensure that that they would show up. They confirmed someone would be by. At 6:00, I called the office to ask why no one had shown up however, the after hours receptionist answered and stated she would have someone call me shortly. I received a call from Boogie who proceeded to tell me that he would check on the issue and call me back. He called me back and apologized but would have someone come out first thing on Saturday (10:00). I reluctantly agreed. However, same thing took place once again. No call, No show. I called the office once again and the receptionist told me that she would send out a message and mark it urgent for someone to contact me back. It was no surprise that 1 hour later, no one called. I then contacted the receptionist once again. She offered to send out another message. At this point I was beyond upset. They have no respect for their customers time and lack follow up and care less about their commitment. I then contacted septic dominators llc. They immediately took my information and within 10 minutes had Vinny contact us. He set expectations that he would be over in about an hour. As promised, he showed up 50 minutes later and completed the job. Extremely professional and expedient and in the end was $90.00 cheaper than Brownie's had quoted. Recommend calling Septic Dominators, you will be happy that you did!

Made an appointment and they gave me a 4 hour( 8am-12pm) Around 11am I decided to call them and ask what is the status and I got a call back from Marcus stating that they are running behind and that the new time will be around 1230pm and at that point I told him 4 hours of waiting is long enough and another 1/2 an hour is too much. I decided to cancel at that point, It's a half day wasted doing nothing and just waiting for the service that you are going to pay for so I would be very careful using their service unless you don't care about your time being wasted.
Stay away from this company at any cost, poor service, our septic tank got pumped out, but they did leave bottom of the tank settlement which will in time is going to cause pump failure
How do you rate a Septic Service? I can say that Brownie's was responsive, booked an appt within a few days, were on time, friendly, efficient and didn't try to upsell me.
Price was fair, associate found access (which was grown over) and super nice.
First time having my septic tank serviced. They were on time, friendly and provided tips to help maintain the tank. Overall great experience!
We have been trying to dispute an invoice for over 1 month as they are charging us 2hrs of labor for something they stated in the invoice they do not work on & service. When we call their dispatch they always tells us that we need to call them for assistance to the same number ( What a joke !) then later after calling several times the accounting manager literally hung up on us & never called us back. We will be definitely escalating this as this is totally unacceptable specially when we spend thousand of dollars in a monthly basis & have used their services for our Resort. All Florida hospitality Business will hear this.

We needed a septic inspection of the home we put an offer on to purchase. We went with Brownie because they've been in business a long time and although they were the most expensive, we thought that meant they were the best. WE WERE SO WRONG! The man who came out told us the drain field was no longer accepting water and thus the system failed the inspection. The seller agreed to lower the purchase price accordingly, pending the written report from Brownie which came out a full 72 hours later than promised and was the exact opposite of what we were told. The report said the system was fine! We spoke to the Manager, Adam Lee who was very rude and said he was standing by his guy that the system was fine. But the tech, a very nice man named Eric said the system was NOT fine! So Eric came back out to double check his findings and this time he says, no nevermind, the system is fine today. So which one is it Brownie? I'm convinced they have no idea what they're doing. Either way, the seller is no longer willing to drop the price to make up for the bad septic field based on the faulty report. THANKS A LOT BROWNIE! Don't just walk away people, RUN!
A few years ago I spent a lot of money getting my entire septic system replaced by Brownies. I called to have it pumped out and serviced and told them I was a return customer. They said somebody would call back in 30 minutes or less. They never called. I tried calling back and got a busy signal.
So a friend recommend Dial Septic Tank Service in Oviedo and I called them. They showed up promptly and pumped and serviced the tank. They told me about service and the drain field filter and what to watch for...which Brownies did not when they installed the system. Plus, the were $75.00 cheaper than Brownies!
I guess Brownies is MIA. Seems like a mistake to tell them I was a returning customer, because they then knew they couldn't up sell a system to me......
We had our drain field replaced ($5000). Our nightmare with this company started when the sales person told us that it would take 2-3 weeks for the permit and then they would start working on the project. I paid the $2500 to get things started. At the end of 3 weeks I called in to get an estimated date of when work would start. This is when we were told that it can actually take up to 6 weeks. This would have been fine with us but he needed to lie to get the sale apparently. At the end of 6 weeks I called again. This time I would told that they have had the permit for 10 days but lost their employees and would not be able to begin work for at least another month. So if I had not called in, I would not have known. They never once bothered to contact us with an update. They took our money and left us to rot. All this time we have been living with extremely limited water usage with the fear of a back up. I spoke with a manager who agreed to give us some tank pumpings while we wait for the work to start so that we would not have a back up while waiting for them to get some employees. (later they acted like they were doing us a big favor)
The work finally began after 9 + weeks of waiting and as soon as they started digging, they cut our cable lines. The workers said that they did not flag our yard correctly. When I called in to discuss this, they said it happens. It was no shock that they would not take any responsibility for this since they don't really care about anything other than taking your money.
Fast forward to project completion. The equipment they used completely destroyed the sidewalk in front of our house and they cut deep groves all over our driveway. Huge mess! I tried to contact the company owner Marc Barhonovich multiple times and he would dodge me every time. So I started emailing him which he would forward to the equally worthless drain field manager. He forward my email with pictures to her saying quote That's not damage. All they did was scrap the mildew off of the driveway. We do not have mildew and you can put a ruler into the groves to see how deep they are. When I told him this, he finally replied and said the deep groves all over the driveway were inconsequential and there were some cracks in the driveway before that look worse. We have some cracks in the driveway, no more than anyone else and it certainly doesn't This demonstrates the level care they have for their customers property. Also, he said that the contract clearly states in bold, Brownies is not responsible for any damage to any driveways or sidewalks. This is their free ticket to destroy your property and walk away. They then realized they do not have a signed contract from me so I received a waiver saying that if I want the sidewalk repaired, and only the sidewalk, I must release them from any responsibility from all of the other damage. Well, the sidewalk does not belong to me so I have reported this to the county. And apparently, he thinks I am just a stupid woman who will sign anything.
On March 4th while servicing a neighbors septic tank, one of Brownies drivers backed over my mailbox. The driver stopped looked at the damage and drove off. He did not leave a note or try to contact even my neighbor to inform them of the accident. I contacted the Brownie office and they agreed to repair the mail box. Four weeks passed and they had still not completed the task. I called them on April 4th and informed them they had until Monday the 7th to complete the task or return it to me and I will get it done, however I had them agree that they would pay me for my time. The parts and labor needed to repair the box was over $350. Rather than repairing the old box, I purchased a new box and installed it for $295. I called and requested payment including 5 hours of my time. The CEO returned my call and told me to get my attorney involved because he would not pay me a penny.
UPDATE
I called Brownie's on Monday April 14th to verify the CEOs name and I was transfered to the owner Marc B. I discussed the situation with him, and he apologized for the problem, promising me he would look into it. He said he would get back to me in 2 days. He was a little late, however he did respond after tracking down the CEO and others involved. He assured me that the CEO ( he was not the CEO just a manager stepping over his level of authority) was totally out of line and he would make sure this type of problem would never happen again in his organization. He also stated that a check would be in the mail on Monday April 21st covering all expenses including my time.
Marc came across professionally and as a man you could trust.
I hope he does follow through and develop a procedure to handle these types of situations, establishing a single point of contact with the authority to work with the customers so the problems can be worked and resolve in a timely and professional manner.

I made the mistake of not reading and trusting reviews, you should not make the same mistake. Brownie's will promptly show up to collect your hard earned money and hacking the job for quik fix.
We paid top-dollar for a septic sump pump with 3 year warranty from Brownie's. They didn't install correctly and it stopped working in 16 months. Now, they decided to not honor the warranty with some lame excuses and trying to sell me a new overpriced install. They are not getting any business from me, my friends or my neighbors. Fool me once shame on you, fool me again shame on me!!!
We were referred to them from a family member. Although we were not having septic issues we just wanted to be on the safe side of cleaning the septic tank. As our tank was last cleaned in 2013 it might have been due for some cleaning.
We called Brownies and spoke with Eva who took our info and set up a appt for Thursday. We were greeted by Nate who was very punctual, friendly and informative. He is reliable will give you the best advice on your septic tank. I would definitely recommend Nate to anyone who has to get their tank cleaned. Our tank wasn't too bad off and now we have piece of mind on our tank.
Definitely recommend Nate from Brownies!!!!!!!!
I have read other reviews for this company and I am
Telling you, they do a great job. They are affordable and convenient and reliable. I literally just used them for services.

Aware! This is a suck scam company. They alway ask for your credit card before any service, so they can charge whatever they want to.
update:
Your company try to lure customer by quote them different service price, then charge much more than whatever you tell them. Thats why you alway want to get credit number upfront. You know how the credit card system work, as long as you have the credit card info, you can charge any amount. I wish I should see the reviews before doing business with your company.
Scheduled on Friday to have my septic tank pumped out on Monday between 8 and 11 (preventive maintenance). Jean called 8:50 said he would be there in 10 minutes, showed up on time, located tank lid, removed sod and dirt, pumped out tank throughly, resealed lid, replaced dirt and sod, cleaned up. All in all Jean did a great job very pleasant and friendly.
Great customer service - would highly recommend!
I was experiencing an issue with my toilets and showers backing up. Brownies was quick to respond by giving me a tip over the phone for immediate relief. Then showed up within a couple of short hours to pump my septic tank. I greatly appreciate their speedy response and customer service - both on the phone and in person! Thanks Brownies!

This is an update to my previous one star review. Brownie's did finally address the unauthorized charges added to the invoice after servicing my septic system. They also services the second septic tank which was missed on the first visit. I appreciate a business that fixes the issues when directions aren't followed the first time.
On 6/22/15 of this year I called Brownie's Septic & Plumbing out to one of my rental houses to clear a stopped up drain, as I've done many times in the past. They came quickly and ATTEMPTED to clear the drain without much luck, at a cost of approx.$122. It was clear that one of the branches of my drainage system was going to need to be replaced. So Brandon Lepper, Brownie's Estimator, came out to the property to inspect the job quoting $2,350. He told me he would e-mail the contract by the next day. My corporate e-mail address is similar to another company in my business, so I was VERY EXPLICIT when giving him the address. I heard nothing from him and when the tenant called Brownie's to inquire about the commencement of the job, Ashley Pardo told him that they were waiting on me to send the contract back. This made the tenant belligerent as they felt I was dragging my feet over spending $2,350. A quick call to Ashley (where she denied talking to the tenant, but then how did he know I hadn't signed the contract?) revealed that Keith, the plumbing manager, had gotten my e-mail address incorrect. So she finally sent it to me 6/25/15 1:28pm. I returned it signed moments later at 1:28pm, also requesting that she send me a copy of the invoice for the call on 6/22/15 (I had gotten a faded pink carbonless). Ashley Pardo responded that she would send a copy of the invoice that day. At this point I was quite cognizant that the tenant had been without a working drain for several days, so on 6/25/15 7:46pm I emailed Ashley Pardo again asking if we could at least pump the dirty water out of the drain in order to make it more sanitary. I even offered to pay them for another housecall for the extra work. Tina Borden responded the next morning at approx. 8:30am via e-mail saying that I was advised by Keith (plumbing mgr) until the job is complete you signed proposal on we won't be able to resolve the issue of the standing water. So I was pretty much stuck with waiting until Monday or Tuesday, being the dates they promised the work to be done. At this point I hadn't given them a deposit and so I called Tina at 8:00am on Monday 6/29/15 (they had promised either Monday or Tuesday as a start date) and offered to meet her plumbers at the property anytime that day or the next with a 50% cash deposit (per contract). Hearing nothing by the end of the day on Tuesday (6/30/15) in the late afternoon I called their office again and one of the ladies (Ashley or Tina) said that they had delays on other jobs and would get to it shortly. I reiterated that I'd bring the workers a cash deposit the second that they arrived at the property. For the next few days I continued to call getting the same excuse until Friday 7/3/15 where my tenant was facing the July 4th weekend without a working drain. I called Ashely who got in touch with Keith and the following answer came back. Keith says you haven't paid your deposit and we can't come out until you do. At this point I was extremely angry, and as an aside I still didn't have a copy of my invoice. At this point I told them where to go (and it wasn't to heaven). The next week I called Modern Plumbing who had given me a price of $2,650 for the job. I engaged them. To be fair they did have a small delay of a few days in coordinating the job, but they did it without complaint. Upon completion (they didn't require a deposit), I rushed over and gave them the entire amount (within 18 hours). I came too several opinions with regard to Brownies. First I think they're really quick at coming out to clear drains, but anything further should be looked for ELSEWHERE. It's my opinion that the girls in the office are quite stressed and do/say pretty much anything (including lying?) to get to the next call or e-mail with little responsibility and/or follow-up. Thus they come off like complete Air-Heads, in my opinion. It's my opinion that Keith, the plumbing manager, gives them little if any management and appears to have a MAJOR CHIP on his shoulder most of the time. My opinion is that he's got a real attitude problem. I called today (9/9/15 in the morning), some two months later, still attempting to get a copy of my original invoice (The one I had was the faded illegible pink carbonless form). Tina said she'd find it and get it over to me. Once again I felt like she was doing whatever she could to get to the next caller/issue. Later I received a call from Keith, in a very rude tone, asking me what I wanted and stating that they never did the drain replacement. After mentioning that I was aware of that, I pointed out that they did charge me for attempting to clear the drain ($122). He then told me to call him with the invoice number and they would send it. I called back a little while later and Tina answered. Keith had given her instructions and she said she'd send it right over. It's 5 days later and I still don't have a copy of my invoice.

Hello, I called this company to pump out my septic and they offered an appointment between 8am and noon. They told me they would call 30 minutes prior to their arrival. The never called and showed up at 11:40pm. Then after partially emptying my septic the driver told me his truck was full and he would be back in 20 minutes. 2 hours later I called the company to find out what was going on. I was told that it took over 2 hours to get from my house to empty a truck and return. After complaining of waiting for them to arrive all morning and then again most of the afternoon to get them back here to finish the job I was basically told oh well by the dispatcher. I urge you to not use this company! They are very unreliable and don't care either way how important your time is! I hope this helps some of you whose time is important to them!
Thanks,

Sunday evening we called the answering service at 6 pm to request service to empty our septic tank. I called the answering service a few more times because we never heard from anyone. Finally, the tech called back at 8:30 and said he wasn't coming out- the tv in the background told me he was probably hanging out on the couch at home. So apparently, they do NOT offer 24 hour service. I wish that was explained when I first called.
My house was built at the end of 1989 so we moved in Fe 1990. I had a family with 2 sons that moved in in the middle of 9th grade and 7th grade. The septic tank and field got really used as a family would. IT LASTED 20 YEARS. so then I had Brownies put my second drainage field in. IMAGINE MY SURPRISE WHEN IT ONLY LASTED 5 YEARS AND THEY TRIED TO BLAME ME. They did not help me whatsoever. Every excuse they came up with, I could prove that I didn't do. Like, cooking with grease can ruin it. I told them I don't cook I receive frozen foods and use the microwave. And I dump in the wastebasket, not in the sink. I learned to put toilet paper in doggy bags-not in the toilet. And I have been using the septic tank only and having it emptied by another company when needed. If their employee had done the job properly in April on the first call, my septic would have never backed up in July when I had to call them the second time bc I really still had the problem when it was really a rainy day. I am a widow. I was the only one in the house. and Brownies was giving ME a hard time.
Run from here! Reviewer 'William B' on here had the same experience as me!
I plunged a gurgling toilet and had sewage in the tub!
Called them. They were fast. A simple snaking and clean out that they did was all I needed !!
The plumber they sent was as nice as could be in all fairness but after he left the other toilet was gurgling when washing machine ran.
He came back and used my own wire hanger in my toilet and left again. No charge for second trip.
Gurgling still there so I called and they basically said I needed a new drain field for $4.5k!!!
Called another company (maitland winter park plumbing) and they came out next day. He found absolutely nothing wrong even when we tried to flood septic tank by running everything at once.
Told us NOTHING indicates the need for a new drain field. Haven't had a problem since! So glad I got second opinion!

We had some gurgling in our toilet and it was slow to drain, then we made the mistake of plunging it. Next thing you know, sewage in the shower. Not good.
We checked reviews for plumbers (not here, obviously) and found Brownie's had a good reputation on Google. Our request was to have them come out and clear up the system to make it usable.
Ultimately, we paid for service and they never corrected the problem. Instead of taking the time to evaluate the system, they used our problems as an opportunity to sell us services we didn't need.
The first guy came out and said we needed to drain our septic tank. We have a wooden gate that gets a bit sticky, so he pulled off a board from the gate and left it tossed on the ground.
When he attempted to pump the septic tank, he asked us to flush the toilet. He told us the pipe he used to drain the tank should be vibrating, but nothing was going through it. Turns out we didn't need our septic tank drained.
He made the call to his manager and then said another man would need to come out who would need to work inside the house, as the problem was not in the septic tank.
The next man came out, but said he didn't need to enter the house. He spent some time outside working and told us everything was alright. According to his work order, he said he snaked a drain. We have no way of telling if we needed this service or if it did any good.
Apparently, it didn't help. The gurgling problems in the toilet continued, so I called my first complaint to Brownie's and they told us a specialist would come out.
Some specialist. This guy was dressed for the office, not plumbing in the field. He spent five minutes, poked the ground and told us we needed a new septic tank & drain field at a cost of approximately $4500.
When we asked him how he came to this conclusion, he wouldn't answer. Then he spent 15 minutes writing up a quote. Magically, the price dropped a bit when we told him we'd be getting a second opinion.
After spending nearly $500 without a real benefit, we brought in an independent plumber. Now this guy was great. He was an older guy with years of experience who spent over an hour listening to us, evaluating our system and assessing the ground.
Bottom line, he said our septic tank was fine, it never needed to be pumped, and there was no immediate need for a drain field. Our problems happened after a torrential rain storm and that affected the drain field. We may need to replace it at some point down the road, but it's fine right now.
I made my second call to Brownie's to complain. A manager spoke with me and said that he would send out someone at no charge to evaluate our system. That never happened and he never called back to follow up.
After nearly two weeks, we called back yesterday and repeated the same complaint. A receptionist took notes and promised that we would have a call back today. Unsurprisingly, we never got a call.
We've given Brownie's plenty of time to correct a problem, but they just keep blowing us off.
It seems that Brownie's preys upon the ignorance of its customers to sell them expensive and unnecessary services. I think that's the epitome of a scam business.
My recommendation is to avoid Brownie's Septic and take your business elsewhere.

Horrible experience. I would never use brownie septic and plumbing for anything. They are so unprofessional and rude to you if you have a question all they do is ask for your credit card

I had a great experience with Brownie's. I used them as a second opinion to another company that told me I need to spend $4300 on a new drain field. Brownie's helped discover that is was tree roots in my tank causing issues, not a drain field issue. They fixed it for $180 and saved me thousands of $.

Thought I would be safe dealing with this company that has been around forever. Management is terrible. If your project needs management involved for a proposal and/or overseeing of a job - think twice!! The short version is that they did camera work for us. After many red flags we decided to part ways (no contract had been signed) and we asked for the recording of the work on the jump drive that they promised to give us. They informed us that they could not provide the recording because it was poor quality. When we asked for a refund they refused to compensate us in any way (we even asked for 50% back). We requested help from our credit card company as they were unwilling to take any ownership for their sloppy work. Instead of doing the right thing and fixing their mistakes they slapped a lien on our property. They essentially stole $850 from us. Read their response to our grievances on google. They are clueless and condescending.

Set up an appointment early in the week for a pump out on Friday. Called Friday morning to confirm that it would today (Friday) between 10am -2pm. They never showed. Called to ask when they would come out and was told that they had us for tomorrow, Saturday. Wasted a whole day waiting for them. I don't understand why they confirmed for today then.
Their loss; called someone else to come out tonight and ended up signing for a new drain field to be installed.
Great group of people, I really appreciate that Boogie took the time to teach me about the proper way to take care of my tank to avoid expenses in the future, definitely above and beyond
In January of 2019 we called Brownie's because we had a septic issue. They came out and said we needed both septic tanks pumped out and charged us $660. One hour later the line was still clogged so they came back out and told us we needed a new pump. We called Total Septic next who came out and said the pump was fine but we had a clog in the line. They cleared the clog and the system worked again. Since we had the tanks pumped one year earlier they said there was no way we would have needed both tanks pumped out. I called Brownie's to explain about misdiagnosing the situation and charging us for something we didn't need. They promised to reimburse us only $120 of the $660 we spent. Here we are, almost 90 days later, and we haven't received a check yet. The best part is on 4 different occasions the manager Danny promised me the check is in the mail and still we haven't seen it and now he won't call me back. I caution everyone about doing business with this company, even if you are in an emergency situation. The word crooks might be too strong but not far off.

This company has been consistent with providing the best quality and service in the area. Not only is the service crew top notch; but the customer service exceeds all expectations.
Thank you guys!!!
I always call, they never show. Ever. Called Friday after Thanksgiving when I found out I needed their service. Tech on call said I could wait until Monday and save on the rate for a weekend service call. Monday at 9:30am I called and spoke with Kayley who said there was no record of my service request, but that they would get someone out that day. I was to get a call beforehand. At 3:30pm Monday I call to check on status of tech and am told that another tech would call me first, but someone would be out today. Tuesday at 9:15am I call again as I have received no contact from anyone with Brownies. I am told, once again that I will get a call beforehand and they would send someone out. It is now 6:39pm Tuesday. No call, no show day #2 in the bag. GRRRRRR

We contracted with Brownie's Plumbing re-plumb our home through our attic space. We also had them install a new water heater, located in our laundry room. The previous owner tiled the laundry room area and didn't pull out the existing water heater, but tiled up to the drip pan. When Brownie's replaced the heater, they used a smaller drip pan that came with the heater and you could see the broken tile and cement depression where the other pan laid. You would think that the person putting that drip pan down would know that the cement depression around the new heater would be unacceptable and ask us if they should re-use the old drip pan that completely covered the depressed area, but they didn't. When I saw it I told them that it was unacceptable and that they had to re-use the old drip pan, which they did. The team leader didn't apologize for the look but told me nobody's perfect. Then the worker in the attic accidentally drilled approx. a 3 dia. hole through the peak of the family room wall, but never mentioned it. When I saw it and he said oh, that's nothing to fix, your drywall guy can fix that easily. When I brought it to the attention of the team leader he again said, nobody's perfect. They had to come back the day after completion because the hot and cold water pipes were switched on the kitchen and master bath faucetts. Again, I heard the nobody's perfect comment. Today, the second day after completion, we woke to find water dripping from the ceiling in our guest bathroom and once again they had to come out to fix it. Seems someone didn't crimp the joining seams correctly. Additionally, whoever was working on the pipes under our master bath sink broke 4 small tiles off the trim on the tiled cabinet top and never mentioned it - just left 3 of the tiles inside the cabinet for me to find. God only knows where the 4th tiles is. We can only pray this is the extent of their carelessness.
I would not recommend Brownies Plumbing to anyone wanting a professional job or workers with a professional attitude. They were the low bidder but you know what they say - you get what you pay for.
I had used Brownies a couple years ago to fix the septic tank for a rental property I own and was satisfied. So when the septic tank buzzer went off at my home, I called them. I regret it and will never use them again.
We had no idea what was wrong that made the buzzer went off. It turned out the float needed fixing. The tanks did not need to be pumped but my wife was worried we'd have sewage everywhere so I agreed on the call to Brownies because they told me that must be the problem. They estimated to get the tanks pumped for around $600. (I have 2 systems). But they charged my credit card $725 because they made me pay with credit card ahead.
Then when they found out it was the float it cost another nearly $395 which they charged on my card but gave me nothing in writing. Nor did they ever confirm the work was done. And when I called the office and asked for someone in management to call me to if the float was even fixed, no one called me back. I wanted to also complain they left 2 big holes, one so bad that a house guest walking across yard almost fell in the hole.
If I knew it was such a big job--more than $1,100--I would have gotten other bids and gotten estimates in writing and wouldn't have given them my credit card ahead of time. I will never use them again and will tell anyone who needs a septic tank to never use them.

Appointment set for 8am - 12pm. No call, no show. I called them at 12:30. They have the wrong number on file?! Not sure how that happened since I gave them the correct number when I set the appointment. The person said they needed to reschedule for the next day. I took the day off for this. I called another company and they were able to come out. I won't be using Brownies again.
Very disrespectful of your time. I called for an appointment and was given 8-1 and spent the morning waiting as I wanted watch what they were doing. No show and no call until 3:00 in the afternoon which was the time I told the receptionist that I had to leave, interesting. They were not apologetic and kept telling me he could do it without me being there. It is not prudent to have someone on your property without you being there.
I don't write reviews, but what happened in Nov. 17 demands that I do. I own a small business that's clientele are children. On Saturday we had 2 birthday parties taking place - there was about 50 people in the business. Our bathrooms started to back up and in a panic we began to call emergency plumbers. We called Brownies and were told that it would be 45 min. to an hour, and that the tech would call with his ETA. Never got call. Instead a VERY VERY RUDE man just showed up about an hour after we called. By this time we already had a plumber working on the problem. The tech told us we owed him $150 just for being there. He refused to leave and demanded that we pay him $150. He rudely began lecturing us on how we didn't call and cancel and how we wasted his time and that we were going to pay for him making a trip to our business. I WILL NEVER recommend this crappy company (no pun) to anyone. They employ the the rudest nastiest techs/plumbers. Brownies you should give us our $150 back!
Company came out to find out problem. dug a trench. said they could fix for 895.00
wrote them a check. after this, they informed us we needed a pump that they said was very expensive
called another septic service who found the problem was a small tree pushing the line down. brownie saw this problem as they had dug where this was. however they wanted us to put a pump in at a high cost. i cancelled the chack i had written as dial septic fixed the problem for 400.00 now brownie has sent to collections even tho they never did what they said. we called the manager who was a very bad business owner. i cannot say how he behaved, as evidently they do not appreciate or need business. do not use these people
