I have a pipe leaking behind wall. Contacted through Yelp and received response from Abraham right away and did house visit the early next morning. He is very professional and quickly nailed the cause. Fixed the leaking in 2 hours with fair charge. I would highly recommend him to anyone who need a reliable plumber!

Albert Nahman claims to offer competitive pricing and charges $69 just to come out and give a quote, by which time you've already sunk money so you're at risk of falling for their exorbitant prices.

When I pressed, they quoted me $654 to snake the main line with an accessible clean-out, including a video inspection, whereas other plumbers quoted me $300.

So I went to the Berkeley Tools Lending Library, checked out a snake and goggles for FREE, and did it myself in under an hour (including watching the 8-minute how-to safety video online)!

Moral of the story: if you have a clogged sewer line (especially if you're a woman, ripe for getting ripped off by plumbers), save yourself several hundred dollars and days negotiating with busy plumbers, and do it yourself!

Our sewer ejector pump failed with predictably messy consequences. We noticed around 5 p.m. and called Atlas (amongst others). They were the only ones to promise to come by that very evening between 9 and 10 p.m., which they did, amazingly enough. They quickly determined that the pump had packed it in and promised to come by the next morning at 9 a.m. to fix it. Sure enough, they were there the next morning with a brand new pump and proceeded to fix the ejector within a couple of hours. All in all, very professional and quick. The only reason I wouldn't give them 5 stars is that we had to pay quite a bit for all that prompt service. I have nothing to compare it against and all I know is that it did cause some walletary pain, but I have no complaints with the quality of Atlas's service.

We bought a new to us home in rural Vacaville with a very nice HVAC system that had a small issue that turned out to be just a maintenance issue I was not aware of. Ramnar returned my call and came out right away in the evening and did a full service check up on our system and even corrected an issue caused by the solar company that inspected our attic for a solar installation. He explained the system to me and was very friendly and professional. I will not hesitate to use this company in the future.

We selected Savior Plumbing for our whole house repipe. I am so glad we did. The whole experience working with Savior was excellent. Eric provided the original estimate which was a little higher than the others. However, after hearing his detailed and clear explanation of the work involved, it was pretty clear this was the right company for us. I requested Eric take the lead on our job and he and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They all worked really efficiently and communicated well throughout. I especially appreciated the way the company was so accommodating and professional. We had to delay things a bit due to a family emergency. They were very understanding. Lacayo-Colt Plumbing has done so much work on our house, they are almost like family. The owner, Rey Lacayo, is personally involved in every project and stands behind his work. Honey Do! Handyman Service (Paul Cardona)  most certainly lives up to his 5-Star Rating! I hired him to assemble an 8x8 Toolshed (See Photos).  I interviewed various others for an estimate and his price was about in-between others I had interviewed.
I selected him not because of price but when I spoke to him he seemed so professional, and I felt from his outstanding Yelp reviews, the experience and quality of his work was more reassuring for the  big project I had, and I was right on target!

I'm  so pleased with the final outcome of my 8x8 tool-shed.  I was a little hesitant he was tackling this big project by himself (others I interviewed had at least 2-people, and they were more expensive since I was probably paying for 2-people to do the job).
Some people work their best by themselves and Paul is one of those - He explained that with just himself, he knows the quality of the work will be met to his expectations.

Paul is  a Perfectionist in every detail!  The tool-shed had a defective-flaw that meant possibly delaying the install so the store could send another part ... But guess what!  Paul figured out how to fix the flaw so he was able to continue to install the shed (and he didn't even charge me extra to work around the problem it had!)

What would have taken 2-people to do in 5 hours, he completed by himself in the same time frame.  

I was so impressed with the quality and his work ethics I'm having him come back to install a new porch light, assemble some patio-chair  benches, fix a faucet, fix broken fireplace screen, & repair linoleum kitchen floor.  He is truly a Jack of all trades!  I'll be revisiting this review with my future projects :-)

I have used Jorge's plumbing several times, from installing sewage sump pumps, rain water sump pumps, installing backstops and correcting past plumbers' shoddy workmanship in general. He's friendly, reliable and always gets the job done right. I highly recommend his services.

Had them come out for some urgent issues a couple times. No problems. Then, I called to ask if they could install a garbage disposal (yes, they can). I asked if I should buy a disposal before they come. The scheduler said the guys have them on the trucks. So I took the day off work to be home on our scheduled day. The plumber that came took one look at my sink and said Oh, a farm sink. I don't have the right disposal for that.

He said I had to pay for a full hour regardless. So, I had him look and fix a small leak. That took all of 15 mins. I said The scheduler should've known to ask me what kind of sink I have (farm sinks are more and more popular these days anyway). Since I was told that you guys have disposals, can I get a 45 min credit for another call?.

The plumber abruptly said Nope. He told me I could talk to the manager but I probably wouldn't get anywhere. The rules are the rules. And then he made it clear he would not speak to the manager for me. Said I needed to call myself.

These visits are not cheap. I wasted a lot of money for nothing and that is not right.  The plumber's attitude made it even worse. So, now I keep Valley's magnet on my fridge as a reminder of who NOT to call.

I reached out to a few companies on Yelp, but in the end this company won me over. The entire process with them was simple, efficient, and best of all they delivered on their promises. The lady in the office was professional and eager to please. She scheduled an estimate for me right away. The price was fair and the crew were very good and took good care of the property. No issues came up and they completed everything in a reasonable amount of time. The bathrooms and kitchens work and look great. My husband and I bought a new home and after an inspection it turned out the pipes needed to be replaced to avoid a big mishap in the future. We needed a quote (and fast) to determine if the owners would pay anything. We called Star Rooter and Fred came out the same day to give us an estimate. We called other places and they either didn't call us back or said they would get back to us but didn't. Star Rooter gave us a reasonable price and scheduled a time to start the work as soon as possible. On the day of the job, they brought a team of people who replaced our pipes and did a great job. They communicated with us, answered any questions we had and got the job done. I ended up calling Fred back a few days later due to a concern I had with the drain in our bathroom. I really wasn't even sure it had anything to do with the job being it was a new home and I hadn't used that bathroom shower yet. Fred came by, took a look at it and fixed it. He said if there was anything else that we needed to contact him at anytime. It was a pleasure working with this company and I would recommend them to anyone. Very professional, thorough, efficient, and reasonable pricing.
