Plumbing Heroes: Alameda

We've been looking for a plumbing firm we could feel good about for a long while!  Our circa 1925 house's galvanized was on borrowed time.  Plumbing Heros was not our first call for this whole house repipe job.  We had estimates from a couple others, one left us feeling their work could only take us so far... We'd be on our own to complete wall patching & painting.  Another would complete, replace & repair everything, but their approach & items used sounded like one size fits all-
Fortunately we came across Plumbing Heroes.  Elana answered my call promptly. An appointment was set, Carlos came out & was able to assess the work needed. And what we wanted.
We couldn't be more pleased.  Communication was terrific, they we're super prompt, very professional & had helpful suggestions for improvements.  Plumbing Heroes took care of coordination with their other licensed sister companies of Heroes and work progressed efficiently and promptly!!  We had a stress free time, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.  And all accomplished at a very fair price.  Look forward to using them on future projects.

Plumbing Heroes was very responsive and accommodating. Bob definitely deserves an extra mention here as he is very knowledgeable, efficient and fun to talk to. He also went above and beyond looking for a specialty part in multiple stores, ordered it online, came back to finish up work... I will be using them again when needed and will be recommending both Plumbing Heroes and Bob to all my friends!

This staff were very helpful... even answered phone when on lunch and started a text with me!  Booked with ease!  The technician arrived on time and assessed the hot water heater quickly!  The hot. Water heater was turned on and everyone was happy!!!  I received a text  and email invoice, which was so convenient!!!  Plumbers are always expensive, so I knew I was in for about $300 to start, and that's almost exactly what it costed!

It never fails when you are about to go out of town and your water heater started leaking ! Was able to hook up with Plumbing Heroes thru using Thumbtack and was given a quote for a 40 gallon. They were able to come out the next day. Great communication thru texting, email reminder and even phone call from technician that they were running late that day. We had Oscar and Richardo and they were able to drain the old water heater and installed the new. Took away everything and cleaned up nicely. Able to get HOT water back in a half hour. Happy Happy !

We had the main water line break due to corrosion. We called Heroes and they came out early the next day. The Technician that out (ceasar) was extremely professional, knowledgeable and replaced the broken pipe with no problem.

We will definitely call on them again.

Very happy that I found Plumbing Heroes. We were remodeling the bathrooms and kitchens for 4 units and I needed a plumber. I reached out to a few companies on Yelp, but in the end this company won me over. The entire process with them was simple, efficient, and best of all they delivered on their promises. The lady in the office was professional and eager to please. She scheduled an estimate for me right away. The price was fair and the crew were very good and took good care of the property. No issues came up and they completed everything in a reasonable amount of time. The bathrooms and kitchens work and look great. Plumbing Heroes just finished putting in a new water heater yesterday and I was completely happy with the job that was done. Plumbing Heroes, specifically Laura kept me informed throughout the process by telling me the the cost upfront and making sure they delivered the correct water heater that I requested. There was no wait and they got me the the appointment the next day to have it installed. I did not have any hot water in the house so was so happy they could move so quickly. Robert went right to work when he arrived and made sure everything was done correctly to my satisfaction. I had never used Plumbing Heroes in the past and will definitely use them in the future. TWELVE HOURS!!

Needed garbage disposal replaced. Contacted the Plumbing Heroes around 10pm. Got an immediate quote for the work (none of the other firms gave a quote from initial inquiry).  They showed up with the new disposal when promised (12 hours after first contact) and boom!  Job done. I was billed exactly what I expected. Clean & complete. Could not ask for a better result. These guys rock!

Wonderful business. Really impressed. I contacted Plumbing Heroes because I moved into a new home and the water heater needed replacement. The whole team was great from the very beginning till the end of my project. They were patient, helped me to choose the right water heater, completed the job quickly and followed up afterwards to see the installation went. I highly recommend this company, they made the whole process smooth and we had no issues.

Carlos got the job done! I had four different plumbers come out and tell me I needed $500+ work done and he fixed the issue within 30 minutes.

Bob deserves 10 stars!  He had a look at my job and realized that since I was doing various home improvement projects on my own that I could handle the work myself.  He explained exactly what I needed to do.  He didn't earn a penny but he most definitely earned my respect!  There aren't many people out there who put the customer first and money second.  This is exactly the kind of guy you want to hire if you need a plumber.  Two thumbs up for Plumbing Heroes!

Thank you plumbing heroes. Our toilet wouldn't stop running and plumbing heroes responded with a quote right away. Even better, they sent someone out to fix it same day! The plumber called on his way, was on time, respectful, and wore a mask. The company had contactless payments and charged a fair price. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

Honest and prompt! Even though my project didn't workout I would call them again for sure.

They replaced a section of gas piping and also cleaned and painted another section that was unpainted and rusting. They also stayed to make sure that the gas was working after the repairs and fixed the auto shut off valve having been triggered when they turned the gas back on.

They're friendly and they know what they're doing. I'm happy with the results.

Had them come out to the house to address a broken toilet. They were here on three occasions, charged me a total of $1800 and wasn't able to fix the broken toilet. I had another plumbing company come out, after a single visit, identify the correct problem we were having, and fix it for under $500. This is just bad business practices.

I requested a quote for a water softener installation, called their main line and set up an appointment and everything. Plumber never showed up for the initial appointment, called 2 hours later not even acknowledging that he had missed the appointment, asking to reschedule in the next week. The rescheduled appointment date comes and goes, no word from him. Finally get a text 2 days later asking for photos because he doesn't want to drive over to do the estimate. Sent in the photos and never got a response. Very unprofessional service.

Responded immediately to my project request and was able to get someone out to my house on a Sunday within 2 hours of me posting. Great service and fast! Garbage disposal now working again smoothly.

They missed an appointment. Then they came and removed the bathtub drain collar and put a new bead of caulk around it and screwed it back in. It fixed it, and they were friendly, for which we are glad. What was not so friendly was the bill for $350 for a half hour's work. I appealed for a reduction which they did to $280. The same day I had my dentist put in a multiple application epoxy filling that was cured with ultraviolet light. He and the hygienist also worked for a half hour and I was billed $227.

We had a great experience with Plumbing Heroes. We had a bathroom vanity which needed to be removed and a new one installed. They were honest about some of the challenges with water damage in our bathroom. The work was done in a timely manner, with attention to detail. I will definitely be using them again, Highly recommend!

Heroes indeed! My husband noticed a small pool of water on the corner of our shower. He felt certain that it was a leak behind the wall. Of course this caused anxiety because of the cost of going behind the walls to see what sort of damage water could cause.

I contacted Plumbing Heroes sister company (Handy Heroes) and they recommended I contact PH because they were the experts on all things plumbing. We got so fortunate! I called around 10AM and Carlos was at our door by 1PM. And he was on-point with his communication. Called to let me know he had to delay his arrival and even stayed on the phone with me while walking up to our unit.

I wasn't present but my husband said Carlos conducted the diagnostic and gave us the best news - no leak and that it was our bathtub unit that was off-kilter which was creating a small slope of the water sliding out and pooling on the floor. And the way it was flowing, it looked as though it was coming from out of the way.

He said Carlos was knowledgeable, professional and diagnosed the problem right away. He was worth the fee because we could imagine the cost of having to demo.

Further, calling in, impressed with how polite and professional the employees are. Definitely attentive and clear in their communication.

This company really deserves more than five stars. Plumbing Heroes went above and beyond to help us. We had several plumbing jobs we were putting off around the house when we got a bad toilet leak. Plumbing Heroes was the first company to respond, and came out to do the work the same day! The plumber they sent, Luis, was respectful and highly efficient. I was impressed because he clearly did not take advantage of the time, even though they charged me an hourly rate. Throughout the job, Luis wore a mask and socially distanced. Ilana from the office even called us afterwards to see how the job went. Honestly, a really great service. I am happy to have finally found a plumbing company we can count on. I will definitely be calling them again in the future.
