Edison responded to my request immediately then asked for picture to assess plumbing issue. He gave us the quote and set the appointment for the following morning. He sent Albert. Albert was early. He texted us when he was on his way and downstairs. We were happy that we didn't have to hang out and wait. He declogged the bathtub and snaked 12 feet. Happy with the service. Not cheap but it's nyc. Prompt and professional.

Sam came early -- call first to confirm that it was okay to come early -- came on -- did the job -- no fuss -- no muss! A pleasure!

Called Mike for a repair to a steam boiler that a different company declined to repair.  (Even though they were the ones that had installed the boiler originally).
Mike made an appointment to look at the project - came when he said he would - reviewed what was needed, gave me an estimate and scheduled a date for the repair.
The day of the scheduled repair he let me know what time he would be arriving - came on time and despite some additional work that was required completed the fix for the quoted price.
Throughout I found Mike to be friendly, reliable and straightforward.  There was never any issue with communication.  Going forward he will be the one I call for any plumbing work in my building.

Olsi did an absolutely perfect job! The rate he charged was very competitive as well. My bathtub drain was beyond clogged before this maintenance. He was quick and cleaned up before leaving. My drain is as good as new! Would recommend to anyone :)

First time using Kirill and I give him 5 stars.  Got back to me right away with an estimate that was very fair, and was at my house within 24 hours to make the repairs, which he treated as a priority because it was the kitchen sink.   Installed the plumbing for a new sink and connected the dishwasher and plumbing looks great.   I'm having him do more work going forward given my experience.

I rarely ever write a yelp review but given Eugene's extremely professional service, I just had to! I requested a service from Eugene to mount a tv to a wall as well as cut a kitchen countertop. The business responded extremely quickly, I would say within 5 minutes for each of my inquiries AND it was on a Saturday. All of the other companies I contacted were either booked for the next 2 weeks (quite ridiculous) or provided me a much higher quote. He performed everything very swiftly and was very knowledgeable as he answered all the questions I had. I was going to build the island myself with the countertop pieces he had cut but when he arrived to my apartment, I asked if it was possible for him to complete the project for me for an extra charge. He built the island for me and provided advice on how to level and stabilize the island at no extra cost!! Eugene is an extremely hard worker and I will definitely recommend him to anyone who wants a fast, clean and professional service! I am COMPLETELY IN LOVE with the island, exactly how I imagined with very little to no explaining required. He is hands down going to be my handyman for any other needs moving forward.

I had a project to do in my backyard and had no luck finding anyone on Staten island to take it. It was something I needed done right away. I called them and even though they are in Brooklyn they still took the job and we're fantastic.

Our 200,000btu gas steam boiler finally gave out after 30+ years. Of course it happened during one of the coldest week! Thank goodness we found John from Peral Plumbing. With these recent very heavy rains my backyard drain was moving incredibly slow and needed professional attention. I initially contacted 49.99 drain service and had a terrible customer service experience over the phone and will never use them again. I then contacted Roto Rooter and they came to my house looked at the drain and gave me a price of $385 plus tax!!!! I said no thanks! I turned to yelp and found so many glowing reviews about original
718. I  called  them after 9 am today (Saturday). Michael the owner answered. He asked me about my problem and quoted me a price of 100 dollars! He sent someone over that morning after 11 am!!! Incredibly competent and polite technician took care of my problem! Thank you for polite, efficient, swift and affordable service!!!  I will definitely use again and recommend to my neighbors as well!!

My basement flooded on Saturday night, and after a bad experience with an emergency plumber that evening I called Safeway on Sunday morning. They were able to send a plumber that night and Javier was not only professional, thorough and knowledgeable, he was extremely nice and patient with me as a nervous new homeowner.  He charged a very fair price and gave me clear, logical next steps that I needed to take to resolve the problem permanently. They will be my go-to plumbers moving forward - call Safeway first!
