I needed to replace a bathroom faucet. I bought one at Lowe's and inquired about installation. They told me a price but also that it would be 5-7 days before it happened. I called Champion and they came the next day and installed it for the same price. Great job and good people.

GNC just replaced a pipe for us that had been leaking. I called two other companies and they couldn't come for two days -- GNC was here in a few hours. Their technician Chris was friendly, knowledgeable, and got things done in a timely manner. I would absolutely use them again!

We were impressed with the value of the work they did, the speed with which they did it, and their follow-up. I'll definitely used them again if needed.

Our toilet flooded at 5pm yesterday and Springer Plumbing was referred to us by another plumbing company that was booked up. Jeremy was fantastic. He arrived within 30 min of speaking with me and got to work. He stayed until the job was done, roughly 11pm, in the rain, in some seriously disgusting conditions. He worked with good humor and was committed to completing the job, even leaving the house and returning when a larger snake was needed. We are so very very grateful. His price was fair, especially for an emergency. I highly recommend Springer Plumbing!

I had a blockage in the system - probably caused by kids putting paper towels down the toilet. The folks at Mr. Rooter offered to show up earlier than our scheduled appointment - but couldn't accommodate that. But seriously - when has a plumber come early?
When Sandro got here, the problem had mostly resolved itself, but he was very thorough in checking everything. At the end, no charge. He said he didn't do anything!
These guys are honest, and respectful, and I would totally use them again.

Highly recommend Steve Wilson Plumbing. A local family owned business. Awesome service. Honest and fair pricing.

Honest, helpful, and reliable. We love these guys. Scott won't sell you something you don't need, and he's consistently worked hard to diagnose weird problems on our aging HVAC unit. I recommend them without hesitation!

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night. Called and Tony came right out in just a few hours. I was able to stop the overflow until he arrived. Thanks again!

I had George out to my house 3 times since I moved in last year. His work is great and his pricing matches his work. He gives me a very accurate estimate up front and gets the work done in a timely manner. He also, will point out if he sees anything that needs attention with possible solutions.
I would definitely recommend him as well as the quality of work.

We had a leaky shower head and we were told by Don Wood that the only way to fix it was to go in through the other side of the wall and replace the entire system because they said they couldn't find a replacement cartridge and then charged me $99. I then did some online research on how to repair it and found the cartridges (at Home Depot no less) and fixed it myself for $50. Very disappointed in Don Wood. If I figured it why couldn't they?

I called these guys out when our AC unit was freezing up in the middle of summer. They set me up an appointment time between 6 pm and 9pm, and stated that the service call was $89. On the evening of the appointment, I waited and waited for the tech who didn't show up until AFTER 10 pm. He evaluated the unit, pretty much telling us that what was wrong with the unit could not be fixed that night - that we would need to set up a time for someone to come out and repair it. (Fair enough) He added coolant to the unit, which wasn't even needed. (Two other HVAC companies told me later that the unit was overcharged, meaning that it had too much coolant in it) He gave an estimate for repairs, and then proceeded to charge us for the service call. He asked if we were quoted $99, at which point I told him that we were told $89 by the person who scheduled the call. He found a coupon for us and only charged us $50. I would like to give him credit for being nice enough to give us a discount, but I realized that he pretty much did nothing to help us. The coolant that was added had to be removed by the company who later did the repairs (luckily they were nice enough to NOT charge us for the removal, which normally involves a fee).
To top it off, Hiller sent me an invoice a few weeks later because there was a problem processing our card that we paid with, meaning that the tech wrote the number down incorrectly.
So, to sum up, Hiller wasted my time, put too much coolant in my unit, and is not capable of taking a payment properly. I would not recommend them to a friend.

Awful service!!!! We spent over $5000 on the purchase and installation of a tankless water heater a little over a year ago. We've had nothing but issues with consistent hot water. We cannot get hot water in our master bathroom without running water down the drain for ten minutes!!! Hoffman came back out a few times and told us that we would need to pay another $1500 for them to connect the recirculating pump that is already within the hot water heater we purchased from them!!!! Why didn't they explain this when they quoted the price for the water heater to begin with?! Or explain that there would be an additional cost to connect the recirculating pump if we wanted to have hot water in a timely fashion. Hoffman supposedly ran tests to see why the hot water was not staying hot consistently in our kitchen also. They claim it is the city's issue and has to do with the pipes bringing water to the house. We called Navien (the manufacturer) directly and they pulled up our unit and information and said there were multiple tests that Hoffman could have run but didn't. They can tell on their end because it logs all tests performed in their tracking system for our unit.
Fast forward six months or so, our AC unit went out. We called Hoffman and thought we would start with them to get a quote. The gentleman, Billy, that came out seemed nice. He also looked at our water heater when we explained we were NOT happy with it. He gave us his word, which apparently is worth nothing, that they would make this right! That spending 5k+ on a water heater...you should be happy and should have hot water! He said that the air vent that was installed inside our basement was not allowing enough air circulation and probably should be vented to the exterior of the home. He said he would do that first and that it was not ok that they had not connected the recirculating line when they had initially installed the unit. He said that he would talk to their plumbing team and make sure to make this happen. He then proceeded to give us an astronomical rate for the replacement of our main AC/furnace unit. We chose not to go with them for that because we were able to get a quote for less than half the price for a brand new Rudd AC 16 sear unit with a longer installation warranty from a local company. We followed back up with Billy and our previous contact Mike a few times only to receive zero response to the promise that Billy had made to make our Navien purchase and installation right.
When I originally hired Hoffman for the hot water heaters replacement I chose them because we had just moved here from out of state. I didn't know any local family owned companies yet and was afraid of getting taken. I've learned that the big dogs on the playground are truly the ones to look out for! Terrible introduction to Tennessee and will never recommend Hoffman or Navien for that matter!!! Absolutely wish we had stayed with the 10 year old tiny tank water heater that was here originally instead of trying to upgrade to a tankless!!! I miss having hot water to wash my hands and my face! It's pointless to even hope to have hot water if you quickly use the restroom and go to wash your hands because it won't happen anytime soon!! Sad that a company this large can't do the right thing after spending such a significant amount on what should have been an investment.

Overcharged by a LOT to recharge air conditioner. R410A refrigerant is $23/lb for a 25lb bottle. I was charged $77/lb to fill my 12lb system. Very costly, making a 200% profit on refrigerant is pretty despicable

Used his services based on a referral from a contractor and now I'm in the process of getting another company come and correct his work due to his lifetime warranty doesn't seem to really exist. I contacted him on a few occasions to fix problems I was having with the ejector pump he installed in my basement and he never could find time to come. I watched a few youtube videos and fixed what I could, but now I have to get my basement jackhammered again to have the ejector basin installed correctly and venting added. I do not recommend his services and when it comes to major plumbing, but installing a toilet or fixing a leak he should be fine.
In response to your response, yes YOU did do work for this client under your old business TNTExtreme that has the same phone number as your new business Sumner County Plumbing. New business name, but the same person and just because you change the business name doesn't mean you're lifetime warranty should not be honored. I also left this same review under your Angie's List account. I'm not looking to get anything from you or hurt your reputation, but I do like to leave honest reviews of work that I have done by contractors.

I saw good review for Matthew Burkeen, the owner / plumber & chose to call him to replace 2 outdoor faucets. I experienced Matthew as personable and friendly. He told me upfront his availability & the cost to replace the 2 outdoor faucets would be around $275 total ($85 per faucet & labor). I texted him to clarify the work I was requesting after that initial call, which he acknowledged. Upon the appt however, he informed me AFTER the work was complete that the charge was double the original quoted price due to extra fittings. In my opinion it was unprofessional to not communicate this upfront (prior to starting or finishing the work) and although he took some $ off and apologized, it felt off to me. I understand prices can change upon a situation however, please talk to the client directly prior to the work or ASAP. I contacted Matthew for a paper trail afterwards to clarify materials used & he proceeded to tell me that I initially only requested 1 faucet (why the price was different than expected) when I have documentation showing my initial text with date confirming 2 faucets.
Apart from the communication topics, the work appears to be resolved decently enough. I want to support local family businesses yet would have reservations using this company again. I hope this situation inspires improved communication.
