Best Thermostat Repair in Kansas City MO
We had another company we found on Yelp to come out and inspect a sound we heard every time we turned on our AC. They charged us $150 to come and diagnose the problem. It would've been ok, but the diagnosis was completely wrong... the guy told us that the sound would happen every time we turned on the heating as well (which it didn't). He suggested a $1600 repair, and even though that would've been less than what we paid here... it wouldn't have repaired the situation as it was something totally different from the diagnosis we got from Aaron's.
Initially, I put out a service bid through Yelp and received several responses right away. I had made an appointment with one company, which had to cancel and wanted to reschedule a week out. However Ashley from Aaron's was the one who was quick to contact us and could get us the quickest appointment. The service tech, I wish I remember his name, came out quickly. He had great communication and called ahead of time just to confirm our appointment. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and further inspect the situation. After the inspection the estimate quote for repairs were over $10k... which was not something we were ready for... and so the technician was able to work with us and give us his best advice on what needed to be repaired asap and what could wait. We ended up still spending over half of the initial quote, but we now have a wonderful working AC right now. He came out two days later and was able to install our new unit. Our house is colder than it's ever been. I truly appreciate the technician's honesty and suggestions, because of this we will definitely refer and use Aaron's again.

Jim has come out to service our AC twice now and trust him to tell me the truth without upselling like the other guys. He took the time to educate us on the climate here and the unique needs of our system. Highly recommend MI

Quality work for a price that is as inflated as can possibly be pulled off. $1,173 for 75 minutes of work and $400 in parts from your local hardware store. Get some additional quotes from other plumbers to compare prices. Pat the Plumber will not be anywhere near comparable in price.

Like so many others, I had an air conditioner problem on the hottest day of the year. I was able to a technician the same day. From the first call to completion of the work, this company was exceptional. The repair man, Steven Hays, they sent was extremely patient and knowledgeable. I even asked him to look at my furnace. He told me it didn't need to be replaced. The willingness to do the right thing vs. selling me something I didn't need speaks volumes regarding integrity.
I recommend the company and plan to use them again (hopefully not soon).

Way over priced! They wanted $1500 to install 4 gfci outlets in place of existing duplex outlets.

No rating. $1500.00 later and 3 trips to my house to fix what was installed incorrectly plus 2 large holes cut in my bathroom wall that I had to pay to have patched and painted. Plumber and front office said that happens sometimes. No offer to compensate me. I will not recommend them to anyone. I would advise to search elsewhere for your plumbing services.

Had a plumbing issue I thought I could do but after going to 3 stores and no one knowing what to do I called Crosby plumbing. I thought they'd have to replace some pipe stuff. Instead they told me where I could find the part so I could replace it myself since it was only like a 60 second fix AND they did not charge for the visit. Class Act! Highly recommend them!

They charge 3 times what the job is worth. We did not use them. Their quote was exhorbitant.

I had Plumbing issues with another company that left me without usage of two toilets in my home. The previous plumber had suggested that the shut-off valve to my toilet was broken but neglected to repair it. Called lad after hours and they were prompt and fast and they came out and fixed the shut-off valve and even offered in the future to try to see if they could fix the problem with my toilet that the other plumbing company failed to repair. I love ladd! They are awesome

Called Chucks Plumbing and Heating on 10/15/2015 told them was looking to buy a new furnace and ac. A lady told me someone would call me back and come out to give me an estimate. I called back on 10/19/2015 and stated nobody ever called me. She stated she would check and someone would call me. 10/20/2015 nobody ever called me back it is amazing how difficult it is to get someone to come out when you are willing to spend $6000-$10000 on an new furnace or ac and they can not even call you back. I can not imagine how hard it would be if you had a problem.

Snyder's was recommended to me but just couldn't follow thru on taking care of me. Lost my water heater on a Friday night, called them Saturday, no plumber on call and told to wait until Monday. Received a call stating some one would be out to me likely after 12 noon. When no called or showed up by 3pm, I called the office asking if they still had time for me today. Was told the tech would be coming but would be only able to inspect, unlikely replace, the unit on this call and could roll in to Tuesday. I cancelled my service request and deferred to another company that wanted my business.
This was unacceptable service and would not recommend Snyder's for anything at all.

Had Bobs crew to fix a leaking pipe . Took about ten man hours and ten bucks of supplies . Final bill was 4800.00 dollars and I needed to pay another guy four hundred to repair the walls . He needs to be in DC.

Dick Ray did work for us 11/14/19. The check was cashed today, 7/1/20. Ridiculous!

The service and the technician were wonderful. He did a good job. I had a broken shower valve and I wanted to get it fixed without cutting a bigger hole in the wall. He said he had to have room to work and would have to cut a 16 x 10 inch opening behind the shower valve. He only had the most basic valve and only shiny chrome visible parts. I asked about upgrading to a different valve and he said that it would be much more expensive. I could not get him to tell me exactly how much more and he finally said the price might be double. After loosing every argument with him I gave in because I wanted to be done with everything. In the end 3 hrs of labor and $190 of parts the charged me $1,598. If that appeals to you then they are your plumber but from now on I'm referring to him as Roger the Bandit. I'm all for living wages but the technician wasn't getting paid an enormous amount of money, just the owners. Being without water for two days made me do something stupid-agreeing to the work-but I guess that's part of their business strategy.
