Best Air Duct Repair in Austin TX
Really dissatisfied with person that came out today. He doesn't understand the flow of fluids in the least bit. I would caution anyone who has used Stan's to review the way their system is plumbed because if it is plumbed the way he proposed, you will only have softened hot water and maybe some cold water but the potential is there that not all cold water is going through the softener.

Thank you so much for coming out so late on a Saturday night to fix my AC. Being older and with breathing issues it was so uncomfortable when I came home at 6:30pm to a hot house. The tech, Jared, said he would get me fixed up even though he was booked till probably 10pm with more folks like me I am sure. He was so polite and patient and explained everything! Thank you for adding me to an already loonng day and letting me sleep in a cool home. Pricing was fair. Service awesome!!!!!

Highly recommend. Excellent service. Drew was so professional and polite. Risked his safety on treacherous icy roads to repair my broken water pipe!!

Called Fox, as they are a a certified specialist for my instant hot water heater. First representative was very pleasant, asked a lot of questions and said they'd have someone out the next day to fix it.
The following morning, get a follow-up call. Second representative says: we don't have any availability, and won't for the next two weeks. Says there are no notes on what I needed, and wanted me to provide all of their details again. No apologies, just attitude.
If you like a run-around and explaining yourself multiple times, then this is the company for you.

I currently use he pest service and the team members that come are always professional and thorough. I have used their AC technician in the past and his honesty in what needed to be done was very welcome since I'm clueless onAC repairs. Great team and I'm debating the lawn service

I used Lantz's Lakeside Plumbing for a rental property I owned in Cedar Park. The guys were right on time & professional. The pricing was very affordable and the issues were fixed the right way, the first time. I'd highly recommend them!

We were impressed and grateful for Texas Air Conditioning Specialist! We were having problems with our A/C last Saturday night. They were able to come out to our house on a Saturday night at 9pm! (during a UT football game) The needed part was replaced and our A/C was fixed in no time for a reasonable price. We would definitely use them again.

First off let me say that their technicians are super professional and courteous. Probably the best interaction with service techs you'll ever have. No issues there.
The problem is they use a pricing sheet for their services regardless of how hard or easy the work is. And it rarely works to the customer's advantage. I had a couple of outside outlets that were out and a outside light that was out. I suspected a breaker issue. It was a gfci breaker and I know those can cost a little more than a basic breaker, but they take a split second to install. So I expected 2-300 for that repair. I had a Salt technician come out look at the outlets for a second, plug a tester in that showed no power to the outlets and then quote me 550ish for the repair. Didn't check power at the breaker box or anything. So it wasn't really a diagnosis of what was really going on since they didn't trace back where in the circuit the power was still working. It would've take another couple of seconds to do that, but I wasn't done.
So it could've been a bad breaker, a bad outlet in the circuit, bad wiring, etc. But they just priced it as the most expensive possible fix and would've charged me that much regardless of how hard or easy the fix truly was.
Since I wasn't ready to drop that much without knowing what was really wrong, I went out and bought an outlet tester and a voltage tester and checked the outlet, which of course didn't have power. But the breaker that I thought was the culprit was hot. I pulled off the outlet and the wires were hot, so I knew it was either a bad outlet or a miswired outlet.
It ended up being an incorrectly wired outlet that was affecting the rest of the circuit, so that's why the other outlets weren't working. It ended up taking me about 30 minutes of diagnostic time and 10 minutes to fix. No cost in materials. Not exactly what I would call an over $500 job like they were planning on charging me...
Again, the techs are super friendly and the service is professional. But the flat rate charging they do is a complete rip off and they definitely lost a customer. Which is unfortunate for them because I used them previously for a hot tub job that got them over $1,000 in business, and had planned on using them for other things in the future.
If you have money to burn and care mainly about customer service and a good quality job, then they're great. But if your like me and you live paycheck to paycheck and care about service, but also care about not being overcharged, then find another service provider.

My kitchen sink wouldn't drain on a Sat morning. We called a few plumbers and just got voice mails with recordings that said they only work weekdays. Called Radiant. A very kind woman told me she would send someone out as soon as they could. A little later she called back and said Connley was on his way. Shortly after Connley came by and took a look at what was going on. He gave me some quotes and I decided on a service that he did not have the equipment for. He called another technician who could provide the service. The fellow that came was Julian. It was his day off and had been enjoying his weekend, but came anyways! He was very polite and professional. He apologized for not being in uniform, but said he just got in town from competeing in a Triathlon! He did the job, cleaned up after himself and even checked my water heater just because. He wasn't trying to sell me anything, just gave me some pointers on how to care for it and what to look out for. I don't know what the other guys would have charged me (because they were not there to pick up the phone), but I know that I will pay a premium for professionalism, expertise, and overall great customer care. In a time when people just wanna get paid, it is refreshing to know there are people out there like Connley and Julian that go the extra mile to and take pride in how they do their job. Thank You!

Had an urgent plumbing need for our new property, while we were traveling. My wife contacted 3 companies over the weekend and 1st Home was the first one to come out Monday morning and in the rain (raining all night and day).. Chris was able to locate the problem and rectify it).
Not only that, he went the extra mile, and helped my daughter with a small car problem.
Great company, great service, timely, and Chris is great to work with. Highly recommend!

We have a ComfortNet™ CTK04 Communicating Thermostat, and this morning the Outdoor Temperature was not right: reading 84 deg F vs. actual ambient of 72 deg F. Certainly not a catastrophic situation, but I called, and they said that a service technician would have to come out in a day or so. We set the appointment, but I asked to have a technician call me, and maybe we can troubleshoot or solve over the phone. Sure enough, that is what we did, as Bobby called and we solved by rebooting the unit. Simple enough! Thanks Bobby! I called later to cancel the appt.

Scheduled an appointment for today 12-4. At 2:47 they send me a text saying they are running late, do I still want them to come. I said yes as my AC is not working in the Texas heat! They texted back that they would give me updates. NOT!! I called them at 6 pm only to be told that they would have to reschedule. (They also did not show up for a plumbing appointment in December 2020.) I pay them 14.95 a month for their HVAC Rescue Club service plan. I would have thought that counted for something but apparently not. Don't use this company is you value your time.

Current unit has been working great for years with few issues, all I requested was a check up and to clean the condenser coils to improve the airflow. They were more focused on trying to sell me on getting new equipment than on my orig request to service my existing unit which still works great. The tech said he didn't recommend cleaning the coils instead wants a senior tech to come out to sell me a new AC. When the tech finished up he put the plastic mesh filter cover under the filter instead of over it, causing the filter to bend upward with the airflow - increasing the accumulation on the coils and likely more urgent need for service calls if I hadnt gone back and checked it (intentional? He said he has been a tech for 5 years). Also noticed more bent fins on the outside unit. The $59.95 service charge was well spent to know I should look elsewhere
9/12/22 Update to the cut/paste response from GM - No. after looking at all the many other terrible reviews for this company I do not trust they have customers' interests in mind. will need to find another AC company to go back and check that nothing else was messed up during the visit.
