Best Air Duct Cleaning in Austin TX

Stan's Heating, Air & Plumbing Plumbing Service
I had a great experience hiring Stan's to replace the HVAC in my house a few years ago. More recently, though, they showed a complete lack of respect for my time. A plumbing tech was supposed to come inspect a toilet. I thought it was odd that they required a credit card to schedule that appointment, but I did it anyway. I rearranged my schedule to accommodate their 2-hour window but after waiting for an hour and forty-five minutes, I still hadn't heard from the tech, so I called them. They said they'd have the tech call me with an ETA. By the end of the 2-hour window, nobody had called me, so I called again to follow up. At this point, they told me the tech would be 40-50 minutes late, but due to another obligation an hour after the scheduled appointment, I couldn't wait for the tech beyond the time we'd agreed upon (had they given me the courtesy of a heads up, I might have been able to get my husband to come wait for the tech). I still needed the toilet fixed so I suggested several time windows on the following day. They weren't able to accommodate any of the times I suggested, so they tried to reschedule me for the following week. After wasting two hours of my time on the originally scheduled day, they really should have accommodated me for the following day. But they clearly don't respect customers' time. Had I cancelled at the last minute, they probably would've charged me a cancellation fee. But when a service provider does that, there's no accountability or repercussions. I will be watching my credit card closely to make sure they don't try to charge me for services that were never rendered.

Honest Air Conditioning did a great job! I highly recommend them....on time, did not try an up-sell me and was very reasonable!

Daniel's Plumbing and Air Conditioning - Southern HVAC Plumbing Service
We needed to have a dishwasher installed.  After searching a bit I found Daniel's Plumbing.   The lady I spoke with was professional, courteous,
and quick to take care of business. She gave me an appointment with an installer the next day  On Aug. 13, 2021, as the appointment time started approaching I was sent a text showing a picture of the installer that was coming out.  Also his first name and last initial were included and the text stated he would be calling to give you the estimated time of arrival and they had a link where you could track him.  Our service expert was Carlos G.  He was prompt and did an excellent job of installation.  He also positioned a drain hose where it would not get clogged since we had had a history of that. He did promote using their service to also oversee our heating and AC, etc. but we also had that service. He offered to look around and make sure the water heater was ok,  he checked our water pressure and showed my husband and I exactly where to turn the water off if we ever needed to. The only drawback was the price for installation. It was $597.93 and that was with a 5% discount because I paid with a check

Had lawn service with them for over 5 years. They hire crews to service a set amount of houses per day and the quicker they work, the earlier they get off that day. They cut so many corners and could care less what the lawn looks like. We were constantly having to call them back for minor things. I spoke with a manager on a Friday about some concerns and he said he would come out and discuss and make it right with me the following week. I never heard back from him and therefore canceled our service altogether. When I called to cancel, they didn't apologize or try and win back my business and no one ever followed up to question anything.

Lantz's Lakeside Plumbing and AC Plumbing Service
I called Lantz's plumbing from LakeTravisPlumbing.com and left a message on a Friday afternoon, and someone called me back Saturday morning (he called me from a noisy location and I couldn't hear the name of whoever called) and I set up an appointment for 1pm, as we had two faucets leaking.

At 1pm, two very young men pulled up in Lantz's plumbing van.  I'm guessing they were about 20 years old.  They came in and got to work.  The bathroom faucet was leaking because it had the wrong type of plastic pea trap installed.  I don't know why the kitchen faucet was leaking, but I believe it was missing a part (in retrospect, I should have exchanged the faucet).

These two young men spent THREE HOURS messing around with the plumbing.  One of them stood around cussing in our kitchen.  The two of them were having loud conversations that mostly went, F--- this and F---ing that.  Lots of bad language, and after three hours I was frantic for them to leave.

They presented me with a bill for $409 for fixing the leak at two faucets and checking the existing plumbing connections.  This job would have taken a competent plumber less than an hour.

I asked the boys if they thought that was fair, if they'd done $409 worth of work, and they shrugged and said yes, and that I could contact their boss.

I sent Lantz's plumbing an email (using the contact form on their website at LakeTravisPlumbing.com) and it's been 4 days and no one has replied.  Obviously, I'm very upset, and would recommend that you NOT ever use this company for your plumbing needs.

Texas AC & Plumbing Specialist Plumbing Service
I really can't speak highly enough of my experience. Main line backed up and they were out the very next morning. I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Blake, a true gent in his own right. He did a quick inspection to see if it was easily clearable, it wasn't. Wrote me a completely reasonable quote and then spent an hour not only clearing the blockage but answering my barrage of questions as I really wanted to see what was going on.

Top company, top chap, super knowledgeable, 11/10 would absolutely deal with them again. Thanks for a great experience.

SALT Plumbing Air & Electric Plumbing Service
Awful and scammy, took advantage of my lack of knowledge with electrical issues. The problem was entirely due to Austin Energy's install of a smart meter, but before the diagnostic was even complete, I was told I would need a full replacement of everything for almost 8k. BEWARE. High pressure sales tactics. Had a feeling a manager at the office was directing the electricians to pump me for more money. Don't fall for their Men of God routine, they're not honest in the slightest.

Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning Plumbing Service
Radiant did decent work... but they're unacceptably expensive.  It's pretty obvious how they are paying for those fancy vans you see tooting around town.

No matter how trivial your problem is, they will try to sell you a service plan for the year.  Like nearly all service plans that someone tries to sell you, it's a horrible deal.  Unless you happen to live in one of those playhomes from Schlitterbahn that shoots water out random pipes every 5 minutes, I don't think any normal home would need enough plumbing work to make the service plan worthwhile.

1st Home & Commercial Services Plumbing Service
Great experience with 1st Plumbing Services.  We had a late-night plumbing disaster and they talked us through how to get things under control until morning so we could avoid an after hours service call.  They had a plumber out first thing the next morning who was prompt, courteous, and competent.  He explained everything before he did it, did exactly what he said, and the final bill was what he quoted us before he began.  We'll definitely call 1st Plumbing the next time we need a plumber.  Excellent service.

Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing Austin TX Plumbing Service
At first, they seem super attentive. Once they had my business, things kind of started falling apart...The guys put my AC in that was a lot more expensive than most places: They assured me of their slogan about how they get it done the RIGHT way etc. They came out and put it in. That day, they left materials including a large concrete block that was killing my grass. So, they made an appt to come back out and get it. I took off work and they no showed no called: Remade another appt for the 10-12 time frame and 6:00 rolled around and no one came. They said they could get there late but my kids and I has plans. So, they rescheduled again. When they finally came, The guy that initially had sold me my AC but didn't put it in said he wanted to check their work. HE WAS THERE 2 hours. apparently they had routed everything wrong. It also put a condenser or some thing electrical in that he said was going to fry my system because it was too much power for my small system.... He told me that he was glad that he came out to check because my system would have been fried! that didn't give me a lot of faith and was really concerning for me since they were supposed to be putting things in the right way the first time. They made yet another appointment to come and switch out that part. The exact same thing happened where they no showed. I took off work that entire day and no one called and no one showed up. at this point, I am extremely frustrated and call customer service for the tenth time and they did show up for the next appointment to change out that part but it was five or six hours late. Luckily I didn't have anything planned that night.
they asked me to complete a survey to tell them about what they could improve on which I did. One of the ladies that took the survey said that she was going to see if they could help me out a little regarding the three days that I took off work that they no showed. I told them that I'm a single mom and that that would help me out a lot. I had also gotten my first AC bill since they had put it in and when I was told that my AC bill should be much better than my super old unit, it was $89 more than my old crappy AC that was not efficient had been. Then, when The guy that initially sold me my AC called me to let me know about what they can do for me to make up for all of those missed appointments that they didn't show up for and no called, he said that they couldn't do anything but that they could put this thousand dollar air cleaner thing on my AC to make up for it. I call my dad, I do some Internet investigating, and this is something that most companies charge $300 for that has been clinically proven doesn't help anything with air quality. AND Air quality is not my issue....It was just comical that you give them bad feedback which in my case was pretty bad feedback because it could've been 6 to 8 months down the line and I have a fried air conditioner that I'm sure would've been placed blame on me AND cost me money to fix...yet they did nothing to make it right. On top of everyone else quoting me around 8,000 to 9,000 for an AC and theirs costing $12,500 (I talked them down to 11,000 which is still WAY higher than other places....AND I'm stuck with a higher bill than I had with my crappy 11 year old AC that was going out. And now I'm left wondering what else they did wrong that I don't know about that's going to fill me within the next couple of years.:(

they came into my home for a estimate on upgrading my unit.  JJ didnt even ask me what I wanted to do nor did he want to look at my unit until he finished his sales pitch.  He was more worried trying to get me to agree to their service instead of trying to put something together for me.  Tried to sell me a product that was $18,000 but wouldnt tell me what the brand name I am paying for.  The one thing that pissed me off more then anything he wanted to talk about financing before we came up with an idea of what I wanted and what needed to be done.  what a scam artist.  very unprofessional.  Save your sales pitch and build report with the customer first JJ.  You never start with a sales pitch.  Know your customers better before you even think about asking for info like social security number and all that.  I cant believe he had enough balls to talk about calling the finance companies to get approved before we even talked about products.  What a scumbag!

Elmer's Home Services Plumbing Service
Don't count on this company in case of an emergency. They will only cancel your booked appointment for people that get their service plan. I booked them to come out  due to a heating outage as a result of the recent 17 degree weather.  They said they would be able to come out first thing the next morning. I get a call the next morning saying that they would have to push the appointment to the following Tuesday. They gave an excuse that their call volume has increased. This makes no sense because an increase in call volume today has nothing to do with an appointment that I booked yesterday. The only logical explanation is that if you don't purchase their service plan, you are just pushed aside for people that do, despite having an appointment. I won't be purchasing any service plans with Elmers or using their services again.
