Best Sump Pump Repair in Irvine CA

Let me start by saying that I got 4 different quotes from highly rated/reviewed plumbing companies here on Yelp. Matt Down came out to our house & was very thorough, asked questions, took measurements, used different tools to gauge/measure & ran a video in the piping (for free) so he could give a proper assessment/quote. I actually had one company that came out & gave me a quote that didn't even run a video in the pipes (they were going to charge me $200+ to run the video). Not only was Prodigy the most professional/thorough when diagnosing the problem, but they just so happened to be the LEAST EXPENSIVE too, so for us it was a no-brainer!

My main pipe (still the original clay type) had several areas that were damaged by roots & age & needed to be replaced. Matt suggested a pipe-burst for the majority & the main pipe going out to the street he recommended to re-line the inside, so we went his suggestions.

Matt & his crew (led by Marco) showed up to my house on Monday morning ready to work (despite a little bit of rain) & began to prep the area by digging. For the scope of work that needed to be done, I figured they would be there all week, but Matt assured me they would probably be wrapped up by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest & we would only be unable to use the water for about 6-8 hours on their final day there. As their work progressed, Matt would give me updates on what they were doing & even sent me some pictures. Sure enough, by Tuesday afternoon/evening, the work was complete, we were able to use our water again & the crew came back on Wednesday morning to put back the dirt/grass in our front yard. They also installed a 2-way cleanout in our front yard because we didn't have one in the front.

*Just a small complaint* (if you want to call it that), the crew did notice that I didn't have a water emergency shut-off valve installed so if a pipe were to burst in the future, I would have to shut off the water from the valve on the sidewalk which requires a special type of tool. The work was already completed & Matt said that they probably should have suggested/installed one while they were doing the work so now I will have to call them back to install the shut-off valve (which he quoted to be about $200-$300). I wish I would have known because I would have just taken care of it while they were doing the other work. This doesn't, however, effect the 5 star rating we chose to give them.

It's been a few weeks & the plumbing has been perfect so far! If we ever have plumbing problems in the future, they will definitely be the first that we call! Great job, Prodigy Plumbing team! Thanks for your great, honest work!

MVP sent Erik Tejada out to look at my garbage disposal which was backed up. He was able to fix it and give recommendations for future improvements . MVP was really responsive. They responded to my online request in minutes and then Erik was at my house like 2 hours later.
He was also able to fix a clog in my bathroom tub and troubleshoot an issue with my toilet which I'll be having my landlord fixes. Erik and MVP are my new go to for my future plumbing needs. I would highly recommend them to others.

I am very pleased with the service that Service Champions offers. They are efficient, thorough, and friendly. At first, I was reluctant to join the member ship, however it has saved me some money already and I've only had it about 8 months and not only that, but you also get special treatment when you're a member. Today I had one of their technicians out to fix my air conditioner. Edward Han was knowledgeable and had it up and running, cooling the house in 1 hour.  Thank you Service Champions.

Fast & friendly service by technician, Shane, who was able to install a new garbage disposal & figure out that the cause of some water leaking under my kitchen sink was because the caulking around my sink was cracking.  Shane re-caulked it & all was good.

Another great service experience with Crandall's Plumbing. They solved a problem with our tankless water heater at minimal expense to us. Everyone involved in the service process  was extremely professional and helpful. They showed up on time and communicated with us when they were running behind.  Highly recommend Crandall's for any plumbing needs.

I had an issue with my water pressure. They were very responsive with a technician here within the hour. Marco was very helpful and did a great job fixing our issue.

Kevin Q came out on a Saturday night to cap a busted water line. He came out within 30 minutes with no rush charge and got it handled on a holiday weekend. Very thankful!

Great service. Thomas got here on time and did a really great job fixing the issue, which was a globe under the toilet, no clue how it got there :-). After the problem was resolved, Thomas left everything better than how he found it. Will call again for sure.

I can't say enough about Nick and his team. They're professional, fair and honest - 3 words that are seldom used for any company. Since moving down to Orange County from Los Angeles, they have been reliable for any job big or small, and are personable as well. Would highly recommend them to anyone, except I'm worried they'll get too busy and won't have time for the rest of us! Thank you Nick + team for all that you do!

Talked to Alex, and told him that I have two faucets to install that I had purchased from Delta Faucet.  After telling me that they could not provide the same kind of warranty, since they did not provide the faucets.  He said that as a plumber they get a better quality of faucet from their suppliers than from you can purchase from Home Depot.  Both of the faucets are made by Delta, so he is essentially saying that Delta sells two different quality faucets, the best to plumbers and inferior ones to customers who purchase them at Home Depot, or as he said a Big Box store.  He just needed to say, we do not install or warranty faucets unless we provide them.  Totally a waste of my time and makes you think that they would increase the price of the faucets they provide, since the Big Box stores are competitors, and they sell an inferior product - BS.

We live out of town.  Call 2 other plumbing companies and they were more interested in payment.  Here I had a actual plumbing problem and I needed it fixed right away.  From start to finish these guys helped me out.  They set me up with an account and billed me for the service.  The serviceman called me from the property and explained exactly the problem and charges.  I was happy with the charges and found this company to be more than fair.  I will call them again in the future.  Great Service. Thank you.

They provided a flat quote instantly and stuck by it- we needed hydrojetting in our outside drains. They got all the roots out and explained everything very well.

Good customer service I like the way he spoke to me with a great attitude and tone and was pretty transparent unlike others who don't tell your things and other such's like quote and stuff. They worked hard for 5 hours on my bathtub and shower I had lots of internal wear and tear and prior bad installation before causing this issue. Thanks to them they came on a Sunday and fixed it all up

I did not use their service but felt obligated to everyone using Yelp to tell you that he is the lowest quote I got from 5 local places. I will use them next time.

Thanks to Jose S. Mandanas, Josh and Raul with Roto Rooter CA for diagnosing and solving a complicated sewage issue when roots from our landscape infiltrated our lines. The team was professional, knowledgable and kind.  We appreciated that the area manager even came by to see what was going on.  Not all service people are good with clean-up, but Roto-Rooter also left the work area looking great. I have used Bill Metzger plumbing twice in the last two weeks and both plumbers were professional, ethical and efficient. I had the shower valve replaced in the secondary bathroom by Art which required him to cut into the drywall for access. He as able to minimize the access hole which reduced the amount of time for its repair which saved me some money with the drywall repair person. Joe was able to replace the valve stems in the master bath shower which were stuck without have to access the interior plumbing. I would recommend either of these plumbers for your plumbing needs.

They responded very quickly. The water heater was replaced on the same day. Great people, great value, professional and respectful. Highly recommended!
