Best Hot Water Recirculation Pump Repair in Irvine CA

I don't know how this place has so many 5-star reviews. I've only had one experience but I already don't trust Prodigy and won't call them again. I felt they tried to scam me into doing more work than was necessary to fix my problem.

Scenario:
My shower/tub in my rental property was running slow. I called Prodigy up because they had a coupon for drain clearing. Cool.

Prodigy's Response:
They came and tried to clear my drain. They pulled out some debris, but couldn't completely clear it. To fix the situation said that they would have to remove the whole tub and replace the p-trap because there is no clean-out and they can't get the snake through the p-trap. They estimated the cost of tub removal and replacement at $9,500.

No. No, no, no, NO!
1) I replaced this tub three years ago, and it cost less than $6k. Prodigy's estimate was really vague and didn't provide clear or sufficient justification for the price. Construction prices/inflation don't escalate that quickly.
2) My regular plumber has been able to snake this same drain at least three times.

After Prodigy left, I called up my regular plumber. They had a little trouble, but on the third try, they got the snake through and cleared the obstruction. Water is draining like it's supposed to without replacing the entire tub and breaking concrete. My tenants are happy.

Prodigy didn't charge me for coming out and not clearing the drain, but I think they only did that to lure me into authorizing their disruptive and catastrophic tub replacement. Glad I dodged that bullet, $9,500 vs. $80.

MVP sent Erik Tejada out to look at my garbage disposal which was backed up. He was able to fix it and give recommendations for future improvements . MVP was really responsive. They responded to my online request in minutes and then Erik was at my house like 2 hours later.
He was also able to fix a clog in my bathroom tub and troubleshoot an issue with my toilet which I'll be having my landlord fixes. Erik and MVP are my new go to for my future plumbing needs. I would highly recommend them to others.

I was contacted a few days ago by the owner, Jeff.  He asked me what he could do to make it right.  He said that they would come out and fix the problem.   Inasmuch as I had already employed another plumber to fix the problem, I told him that I didn't have an answer.  He then offered to refund me $110.  It did take a few days to actually connect with him, but they did what I thought was the right thing.  For that, I appreciate the way it was ultimately handled.

I've used Bob twice now.  The second time was to install new toilets I had delivered to my house.  I trusted Bob to do the installation instead of the contractor provided by the home improvement store where I purchased the toilets.  Bob showed up on time and did a great job.

Bob is hands down my best find on Yelp.  I recently requested quotes for what turned out to be a drain leak behind the drywall in my garage (I thought it was a concrete slab leak).  Bob came by for a free estimate, assessed the situation, and told me in very clear terms what the problem was.  Bob's estimate was extremely fair (I had received another estimate before Bob).

Bob did the job on time and for the price he quoted.  

The great thing about Bob is that he's a licensed plumber and general contractor so he's super knowledgeable and will give you his expert assessment from these two perspectives.  Because he is a general contractor, I had him look at other possible repairs around the house.  Stuff that I thought might be important to fix he recommended to leave alone.

In short, I really appreciated Bob's honesty, his straightforward assessment regarding repairs, and his very fair pricing.  I highly recommend Bob and would give him more than 5 stars if I could.

Matt came out within 45 minutes and was very professional.  He quickly gave me a quote for replacing my old main water shut off and it was reasonable.  I asked if he could do it today or needed to come back.  He said I can do it now and he did a great job.

Finally found the Holy Grail of plumbers: guys who are honest, know their business, and are fast to the job and fast to finish. Steven, on the phone, was patient, clear, and honest. His technician Kevin came to our house in Mission Viejo within the hour Monday night after 6:00 pm, and swiftly and professionally solved our frustrating clogging problem (every shower and toilet in the house backing up for the last three days). Kevin was able to immediately and expertly answer every question I had--including questions that I did not think would be in his field of expertise. He gave me excellent advice and was able to provide instant, specific pricing on several other plumbing projects I want to pursue in the future. I highly recommend Pipe Bros for all of your plumbing needs.

SJ Plumbing is a great team. I finally found a fair and reliable plumbing service. Dylan came to work on our kitchen and was great at not just servicing the unit but with his open communication. PROFESSIONAL PLUMBING is top notch! Had them out recently for a different issue. This time Oscar came out and quickly diagnosed the mainline stoppage, cleared it. no more backed up tubs, toilets, I am able to do laundry again. Even cleaned up the standing water that had backed up in The bathroom floor!    Oscar did a great job! Very professional, prompt, got the job done efficiently and at a fair price.  thank you, Oscar!

Had a different problem about six weeks ago, after three other plumbers could not clear the bathroom drain, and all of them wanted to bust out concrete, Vince was able to cable the bathroom, drain and take care of the problem. These guys are true, professional journeyman plumbers, and the most dependable tradesmen around

The Field Supervisor, Daniel, was prompt, courteous and understanding. He quickly took care of the problem and we were able to finally use our kitchen.

Love that Carlos is local and knows the water in the city. He recommended a different system than one that we ordered online which came broken anyway and I'm glad we went with his recommendations - I trust everything he says more than a fancy website and a pushy salesperson. Installation was timely and smooth and everything was clean (including the water, obviously but also the work area)! He's very nice, hard working, and does quality work. I'm glad I found him as we'll be calling him for any other jobs we need done!

I had a bathtub spout that corroded and fell off completely, effectively preventing me from diverting the water to the shower head. Don (the owner) gave me a prompt quote and his price was fair! How do I know? I have experience in construction/contracting so I know that he gave me a good price. It was something I could have fixed on my own but I just didn't have the time. He came the same day and fixed it for me.  Don was friendly and had great communication. I'll definitely keep his contact info handy for future use.

We have been using CCM for a few years now.  They have been the most reliable company in the business.  Whenever we need them, they do everything in their power to get to us in a very timely manner.  Jeff is thorough, polite and very knowledgeable.  Their pricing is spot on and I always feel like I was charged fairly for the work they do.  They do not try to sell you anything you don't need and are honest in explaining how to get the best service for the best price.

I was interested in changing out the shower kit in my bathroom and contacted this company.  Garrett called and walked me through it, explained the costs up front and even though I decided the job was more involved than I had planned and decided not to do it, he gave me some good advice and explained what I could do was a moderate DIYer and what I probably should watch out for.  Very honest guy and even offered to to provide additional advice if I had a question.  He could have bilked me for seemingly simple services, but it seems obvious that this is not what he's all about.  If I need services in the future, I will contact someone like him.

Been using Sal's for years now and can't say enough about their exceptional service and trustworthiness. Thomas just spent a couple of days clearing out a kitchen sink and he exemplifies a hard work ethic that won't quit. That attitude appears to come from the top so I commend them and how they treat their employees too.

I could not believe they could get a plumber out the same day as I called. Both workers were polite and helpful. They wore masks and also wore booties to cover their shoes. I was quoted a fair price and was so happy to have the work completed so quickly.

Found Justin Time Plumbing from Yelp and the additional $10 coupon from Yelp helps as well. Called them on a Sunday for a Monday appointment (issue i had was not urgent at the moment and didn't require an emergency response). Jason and Zack arrived ahead of the scheduled appointment and resolved the issue i with no problems. They even ran some assessment on the other plumbing in the house. Overall very satisfied with their service. Quote (more like an estimate based on the description of the problem i gave) provided on the phone was accurate.

This company offers the best service of any we've used in the last 40 years. They are polite, on time, and do great work.  Kevin was our service person this time and he was very friendly, neat, and completed everything we asked for in a timely manner. We will definitely use Barker and Sons for any further plumbing needs.
