First time ever using a plumber. Was SO nervous about getting swindled for $$$$$, but my experience with this company was awesome!! Not only were they friendly and professional, but they were up front about pricing, giving me an estimated range right away.

Steve was very knowledgeable and walked me through the whole process, that was SO reassuring because I didn't know what to expect. Juan was the technician that came to do the work, he was done within about 30 min, overall great experience. THANK YOU PIPE BROS PLUMBERS!!!

When the receptionist told me the plumber had a three hour time slot, I assumed he would be arriving towards the end. To my surprise , he arrived right a the beginning , which was fantastic. Before the appointment I had attributed the leakage to possibly coming from the water heater but again I was wrong. Titus localized the leakage and explained the entire process clearly and throughly. The price was significantly reasonable and I was happy with his service . Thank you Pipe Brothers for fitting me in the schedule the next day despite me calling so late.

I called PipeBros early Saturday morning to address a persistent kitchen sink clog and they came out early that afternoon! Prior to coming out, they had given me a very reasonable estimate and were upfront about the costs. Christian was the plumber who came out. He was on time, professional, friendly, and ameliorated the problem quickly. He also gave me some very useful information on cleaning my faucet aerator. I was impressed with the quality of service I received and wholeheartedly endorse PipeBros to anyone needing a great plumber.

In my opinion the bad reviews on here are true. We called early enough in the day that we could've gotten any plumber to help us with our main line clog. It wasn't the middle of the night situation. But yelp had good reviews of this company so we thought we'd give them a try. The phone was answered by Steve and he assured me that Christian would be at my house to help between 6pm-8pm because all their technicians were currently on other calls. So we waited stupidly believing they were going to keep to their promise. I tried calling once it was 8:30pm a few times to only have it go straight to voicemail. At this point in time it was so late that either plumbers that were open when I first called were now closed, or they were going to charge me more because it was a late night call emergency. I finally heard back from Steve stating that Christian was on a call and would probably not make it out tonight, and that he didn't want to hold us up. But it was too late, we were now screwed. When dealing with a small business the worst thing you can do is express all of your woes to the customer. There won't be any compassion given if you have let down the customer before even arriving to do the job. Don't bother with this company. The reviews are suspiciously fake, or they had a slow day and were actually able to attend to their customers on time and in a professional manner.

They were very fast, efficient, and did a great job. The tech explained exactly what needed to be done, and I am extremely happy with the service. Pipe Bros bought out our regular plumber of 17 years so we were not sure about this new company. We had two on-time service calls within as many weeks from technician Titus who was thorough and knowledgeable. The only regret is that parts were not available and he had to leave the house to purchase them at Home Depot thereby lengthening the time to complete the job which was alright because we are retired. We would recommend this company and will use them again.

Steve and Steve came out and did a good job on fixing an old water heater pipe. I need to replace it but they were able to the rusted pipes from leaking. The job took a little longer than expected but after two days no problems with leaks. The quote was a little more but more work needed to be done, so this was understandable. Pricing was reasonable. They are worth calling!

My kitchen sink had a bad smell coming out of it and it kept getting flooded with nasty water whenever I would turn the waste disposal on. Pipe Bros came out and fixed it no problem. Excellent fast and efficient service. Titus was awesome - on time, knew his stuff. One of our issues was a simple loose fitting, and that repair was done in 30 seconds. I always expect the worst, but I never expected such honesty and candor.A lot of anxiety was spared right there. The other repairs were quickly assessed and fixed.

UPDATE: We called Pipe Bros to check our water regulator, and again requested Titus. They are super kind and accommodating, which I appreciate. Titus came out, gave us a fair estimate and out of curiosity, I asked whether we had an automatic gas shut off. My mother had concerns we were due for an earthquake (she was right), and I had just assumed we had an automatic shut off b/c our house is only about 20 years old. Turns out we didn't, and what do you know? Titus knew how to fix that, too! He gave us a great estimate, got all the necessary parts and brought our gas system up to modern standards. He took the time to explain how it works in case if an earthquake, what to look for and how to get everything going again if it does have to shut itself off. We are feeling very fortunate to have found such a great company and a plumber we can trust to help us with ongoing maintenance work. Such a relief!

We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom that dripped down into our downstairs den. I called these guys on Saturday morning, when I found the dripping water. They were amazing. The plumber they sent (Dwight) couldn't have been more polite and thorough. They also called a dry out service for me to handle the water damage. The dry out service took care of the insurance claim for me, asbestos testing, and a pack out company to move and store all of our stuff. Just from one call to Pipe Bros. It was such a blessing that they happened to be the ones who answered the phone on that Saturday morning. Oh, and the leak is fixed, along with the pressure regulator that caused the leak. Requested service through yelp and got a reply in a few minutes. Needed a specific day and time for the work to be done and they made it happen. Actually got a call that morning that Christian could be there earlier, first time hearing that from a contractor. Christian did an excellent job repairing a copper elbow in the drop ceiling. Clean professional work at a very fair price on short notice. Will use them again.

Our household had a plumbing emergency with our shower cartridge being stuck. We had called another plumber previously who wanted to charge us $280 an hour because it was an emergency. They claimed they had to cut a hole into our bathroom wall and replace the entire valve which would have been a 4 hour job.

Christian from the Pipe Bros fixed the problem within 20 minutes without having to do any invasive work whatsoever. My family really appreciated the honesty which is truly rare these days.

My shower was not givng out hot water. Originally I called a plumber company I know, and the person told me that the pipes are probably plugged and I would need to knock out the walls to look at the pipes.
I looked up the problem on internet, and it seemed more lik a shower valve problem. Then I googled the Pasadena area and found Pipe Bros on Yelp.
Steve came out to fix the problem. It turned out that the shower cartridge and rubber were the problems that prevented hot water from mixing with cold water. Our cartridge from the Moen shower was extremely difficult to remove. Steve put 110% effort into the job. Once the cartridge was removed, he went to get new parts and put them in efficiently and quickly. I would definitely recommend Steve to my friends and family. He was professional, diligent, friendly, and easy to communicate with.

Make a long story short: Mike Diamond was going to charge me $950 to replace an old faucet that hooks up to the washer and dryer in the garage. Hector came out and even though the faucet was old and tricky to replace, he explained that he was comfortable working on vintage plumbing and did it for $530. He was prompt and polite. I know who I'm calling every time I need an affordable/reliable plumber.

I decided to call Pipe Bros after Roto Rooter claimed that by putting a clean out that my sinks wouldn't get backed up anymore, paid a big amount for a job that would help but not the case a couple months later sinks backed up. Called Pipe Bros spoke to STEVE he came over told me exactly what the problem was and gave me alternatives for meantime while I put money away to replace my pipes. Steve was very professional and courteous and fast at his job at hand he got the sinks cleared in a matter of minutes. Very happy with job would recommend them to friends and family. I will keep there number handy this a company who appreciate each customer and appreciate their business will only call them for my plumbing needs. Thank You once again Pipe Bros and Steve.

I had one of those stressful days where I discovered flooding in my basement the day before I was about to travel out of town for a couple of days. I called Pipe Bros for an emergency same day appointment and explained the situation; they were very kind about the situation and set up an appointment later that afternoon. Christian came out within the two-hour appointment window and promptly figured out the issue with the flooding. He was very professional and nice as well; he was explaining everything as he went along. Christian also was super honest about the issue and didn't try to offer services that I didn't need, which I really appreciated. Seriously, this a great company and I highly recommend them if you have a plumbing issue. I will definitely be using their services in the future!

Very happy with their service! We had a leak under our house and so I called Pipe Bros. They were able to come the next day. Titus came out, on time and took tons of pictures, so he could show us the 2 cracked pipes. I received my quote via email, and then received a call from Steve to go over the quote. I was able to schedule (with the very nice Evelyn) to have the work done a couple of days later. On the day that we scheduled the work, Titus was on time and got straight to work. He was able to complete the work quite quickly and left no mess. He always wore a mask and was very polite. I would absolutely recommend using Pipe Bros!

I was in need of a plumber because I had suspected a water leak due to a faint foul smell. I called and schedule an appointment and they sent me Titus the next day. Upon meeting him, I think he is quite nice and seems to be very knowledgeable. He went into the tight crawl space and realized it was indeed a couple of leaking pipes. He end up fixing the leaking pipes and now no more smell or water leaking in the crawl space. I would recommend Titus because he gets the job done! Thank you.

The pipe buried under the grass behind my water main broke the day before I was leaving town for a week. I called 3 or 4 other plumbers who all advertised emergency service and they all promised call me back after they found a technician to help -- none of them did. Steve at Pipe Bros was the only one that actually sent a technician out to me! After the technician (Titus) dug up the leak and evaluated it, Steven quoted me a fixed price that he stayed true to even when the job took hours longer to fix than he or his technician Titus anticipated. True professionals!

Called on Monday, was visited by Titus on Tuesday morning. That's real service. I had a suspected water leak and needed a thorough inspection which Titus did. He knew where to go to look for leaks and how best to monitor my water usage. The visit was very pleasant and the service more than satisfactory. I could not have been happier. I really appreciate pipe bros being helpful on checking up a leaking water heater. One of the pipes was leaking and the one wasn't. I was given an option to replace one leaking pipe or both. The maintenance cost is fair and acceptable to me.
I also asked about getting a tankless water heater and was provided pros and cons of using tankless water heater. I am very satisfied with their maintenance service and knowledge.

Absolutely Fantastic. Very pleased...appt. the same day. When I called I was told we are pretty full, my heart sunk because I thought I'd have to wait a day or more. Nope...I called around 10 am and was told they would have someone here between 1 and 3.

Titus got here at 1:10. We have a Jacuzzi tub/shower/steam... access to the leak was easy but I thought we had one leak...we actually had three. He fixed two and found the third..there is a small crack in a filter (has been there for at least 5 years) and he found it. Nobody else found it, Titus did. When I hunt down this filter (tub is 17 years old )I will be calling and asking for Titus to come out and replace it.

It took much longer than he probably anticipated and still only charged what he quoted.

Outstanding service, from my initial phone call till the minute Titus walked out the door. I will be saving their # and calling them for any plumbing issues I have at home and any we might have at my bosses rental..this property is considered our shop/place of business/bosses home.

Pipe Bros are professional plumbers. They answer the phone (unlike some other plumbers), made an appointment within 2 days, and call to update you 1/2 hour before arrival. Hector quickly diagnosed the problem with the leaky kitchen sink and gave me a good estimate for the cost of the repair.

Such a disappointment. My brother called Pipe Bros yesterday to schedule a fix on a leak that is coming from our main water valve. Our city water department noticed an increase of water usage in our home and came by to check to see if any leakage was present, and to their expertise, they found one. We scheduled an appointment with Pipe Bros to have it fixed as soon as our city shuts off our water for repairs to be taken place. We called yesterday to have everything confirmed for the next day at 3 pm - 5 pm. We gave them our contact information and address and spelled every single letter and reconfirmed all numbers. We then were informed that there will be a $49 charge for their serviceman to come out to take a look and assess the situation. If we choose to go with their service, the $49 will go towards the work. We thought it was fair since we needed the work done. The next day comes and the water is finally shut off by the city and all we had to do is wait for the plumber to come by to fix it. We got a call with an unfamiliar number around 4 and as soon as we answered we did not get any response. Thinking it was the plumber, we gave a call back to that number and we did not get any response. We then called Pipe Bros, and they claimed that they have been calling us the whole day, leaving voicemails, and text messages to tell me that the plumber is having car difficulties and was not able to come to my location. I did not receive a single call, voicemail, or text message. They then repeated the number in their contacts and there was a wrong digit. I mean come on, your receptionist repeated the number back to me before she quoted me that ridiculous $49 fee for an estimate/assessment. With much frustration, I canceled the work and called another plumber through Yelp.

The owner of Pipe Bros did try to make amends and called us back after a few minutes. They even offered to waive the $49 for the estimate and offer some discount / free service. But that does not sit well with us because other plumbers we called offered us a free visit and assessment. Pipe Bros, on the other hand, locks in their potential clients by charging them $49 for estimates; that is just distasteful. I was not sure what discounts the owner wanted to offer, but we were not interested after hearing their excuses. Don't get me wrong, discounts are nice and great to have, but in this situation, it is not about saving as much as we can; it is about getting the job done. Water, electricity, and gas are the essentials in a home. Without it, it causes many inconveniences. To boil all this down, Pipe Bros did come through as promised. Calls the wrong number (we wonder if that number ever replied to let them know that they had the wrong number or if they even checked their caller I.D. to retrace our number) Not calling another plumber to come out any way to assess our situation because it might just be an easy fix, but instead completely bails on us. So next time, when deciding on a plumber, think again with Pipe Bros.

We had water leaking from our attic into a random hole in my bathroom closet so we called Pipe Bros and got an appointment for the next day. Hector called me half an hour before to let me know his arrival time and he came right on time. I asked him to text me instead of ring the doorbell because of my sleeping baby and that's what he did. Our attic is right beside my baby's room and he was able to go up there and find the problem without waking my baby up! It turned out to be a leak with our ac but if we have any plumbing issues I would not hesitate to call Hector back. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and put booties over his shoes before entering my house (you'd be surprised that not everyone does this). Quick and on time with reasonable pricing!

Steve and crew from Pipe Bros did an excellent job re-lining our sewer pipe. Root intrusion through joints of our clay sewer pipe plagued our house for years. Snaking and chemicals worked somewhat, but the frequency of clogs became intolerable.

We took repair estimates from two plumbing companies. The first did a camera inspection and concluded a pipe burst method was absolutely required with extensive driveway demolition. Steve gave me a 5% lower estimate for the same job description.

Steve and crew showed up on time. He was prepared for the pipe burst operation, but his camera inspection pointed to a less intrusive solution -- re-lining the interior of the pipe and reconstruction of the access port. Steve and crew ran into no problems, and were finished within 6 hours. (The other company had quoted this as a 3-day job.) Steve showed me camera inspections of the finished work, with a now seamless path to the city main. The work area was left clean. They even saved and re-planted an ornamental tree that had to be dug up. Actual price with within the range quoted on their original estimate.

Got the works done and provide great service. My water heater stopped working about a month ago and I called another plumbing company over to fix the problem. They left without telling me what was the problem and the next morning it stopped working again.

I woke up this morning with water all over my basement floor and realized my water heater had been leaking over night. A week ago, the shut off valve to my home started leaking. I've always had some issues with it being that my condo was built in the late 70's. I called a few plumbers and asked them to look at the issue and provide an estimate. Each company arrived to my home way past their appointment time. They all looked unprofessional - no uniforms and clothes were dirty and full of holes. Even more so, they all wanted to demo the concrete area around the pipe. I felt that they wanted to overcharge me for this one time job, so I said no to all of them. At that point, I kind of gave up thinking there was no other way to fix this thing...until I called the Pipe Bros. They quoted me over the phone and Titus arrived EARLY, was very PROFESSIONAL, and overall was a nice guy. Anyways, Titus looked at the pipe and fixed it without putting a jack hammer to my patio. I had an upstairs tub/shower that was leaking through the ceiling downstairs. I called Pipe Bros on a Friday afternoon and was able to get an appointment for Monday afternoon. I was given a time window of arrival between 3 pm and 5 pm. Before 3 pm the office called with an ETA of 20 minutes for the technicians arrival. Titus arrived on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and I was given a quote. When the repair was complete the price remained the same as the quote, he cleaned up after himself, and guaranteed the repair for 90 days, but best of all no more leaking!

I noticed a leak from the ceiling. I called three companies for estimate and assessment. I found out Pipe Bros has much more knowledge, professional, and reasonable price.

Steve came out to check on the leak. He was polite, friendly, and professional. He assessed the problem and explained how he would approach the job and the parts involve. Then, he gave me a reasonable estimate. I appreciated how he explained thing, how he prepared the area before he started the work making sure everything is covered, and the detail of the task that he did. When he finished, it was like nothing ever happened. The place was nice and clean, even though the task was involved with cutting and repairing a dry wall/popcorn ceiling. It was exceeded my expectation!

No multi-unit building insurance and high priced quote for the repair. Found another company who has the insurance and was significantly cheaper.
Response to the owner: Btw, apartment isn't commercial building, but yes I did find another company who had full liability insurance for working on apartments and 3X cheaper. I even mentioned I have hot water shutoff within the apartment. And please see the exact wording of your quote, no mentioning on 'replacing the whole thing' at all. And when I mentioned the price was too high, there was absolutely no response until I posted an review.

The pipe brothers are very good. They fixed multiple catastrophes in my house, a rusting garbage disposal, vibrating whenever I turned the shower on, a slow draining shower due to gobs of my wife's hair going down the drain, you name it. Last year I purchased a condo in the south part of Pasadena and I redid my kitchen completely. I noticed the kitchen sink cabinet was showing some egregious leaks even though everything was new!!! It seemed that my leak occurred anytime we were cleaning up the dishes and when the dishwasher had been run.

I called Pipe Bros after reading a ton of comments and reviews on Yelp for Licensed and Bonded Plumbers with 50+ public reviews.

Titus was dispatched today promptly during my quoted arrival and service time. Wow! I am so impressed with the service. I thought my dishwasher was leaking but Titus diagnosed a leak from my exhaust port never having been sealed properly by my kitchen contractor.

Also, a long term problem was diagnosed and prevented. My kitchen contractor had apparently done a really poor job installing my new sink and dish washer, particularly how the pipes were complicated and likely to cause blockage later on.

Titus was able to within the service window completely revamp my kitchen sink piping and even refurbish the joint connected to my pipes inside the drywall. A seal was missing as well, so Titus identified that and replaced it.

I would recommend Titus and Pipe Bros to anyone in the community.

This place is a total ripoff. Do not waste your time. UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW AWAY MONEY!! We called Steve in an emergency as I had water leaking out of the side of my home after my plumber who we normally use told me is was beyond what he could fix and the problem was in my slab. I explained the situation to Steve and he sent a tech the following day. His tech thought that the the tub waste and overflow assembly was the MAIN issue and we agreed to the work even after my husband told him we were more concerned that we had a slab leak as my original plumber suggested but the tech assured us that he was sure that the tub waste and overflow was very likely the problem and we should repair that first before he continued. After the work was done and $ 1,000.00 dollars later the situation was not fixed and I was quoted over $ 1,700.00 dollars for additional repairs for a slab leak. It was late in the day and the tech would have no choice but to return the following week because we could not schedule the time off work until then. So i figured I should go ahead and get a second opinion in the interim. We called a leak detection specialist and they were surprised that the tub waste and overflow would be suggested to be repaired first as it was very apparent that we had a slab leak and a very complicated situation with multiple problems as my home is older. It was important to locate the leak first, mainly because the whole scope of work will depended on if it was a water pipe or drain pipe leak or possibly both. Also, very possible that the leak could be located under the slab that our fiberglass shower/tub enclosure sits and since that cant be patched repaired, we would have to remove the whole thing, hence lose all that work we just had done. So I asked if the parts could be salvaged and possible reused since we assumed it was quite pricey and we were told me the parts run about $ 250-$275. We were so frustrated and did not know who to believe so I called to get a third opinion and was told almost the exact same thing. Sadly, we never asked for an itemized invoice from Pipe Bros and went his his contract pricing. (YES- totally our fault for being naive and trusting). I called Steve immediately to go over my pricing and breakdown of what we were charged. I asked him to please review with his tech and call me and hopefully we can negotiate on the price because we felt we were overcharged and that my plumbing situation as a whole was handled wrong and possible costing me more money because we would lose all the work we just paid for. At that time, I was just hoping he would offer me a reduction of $100-200. Steve said he would get back to me and when he did, he confirmed my fear $575.00 for labor and parts for the tub waste and over flow assembly, $ 148.00 dollars for access (he explained to me the point of entry was small!?!?!? is'nt it for almost all plumbing jobs we had no idea this was a labor charge thought it was a part) and $ 275.00 to cut my copper water line that needed to be removed to do the work and a $ 49.95 service call fee. SO close to $ 600.00 dollars worth of labor for a little over 2 hours of work!!!! He gracelessly offered to refund me $ 49.95 for the service call fee. He then offered to reduce our quote for additional repairs by $400.00 and not charge me again the $ 148.00 poor access charge and the or $ 275.00 for cutting my copper water line. REALLY?!?! Shouldn't of that already have been the case?!?!? Today, (after paying for a leak detection test, sadly what I wish we would of done in the first place ) My problem is far more advanced than even Pipe bros anticipated and my shower enclosure needs to be removed. I call Steve again this time to demand a partial refund and He had the nerve to tell me that it was my fault for not shopping his price before I agreed to it and I should have done my homework!!! In an emergency situation with water coming out of the side of my house, I really didn't have time to shop around, it is not like he was doing cosmetic work for me! Basically, it was my fault for trusting him. He has a signed contract which he continues to throw in my face so he is sure my credit card company will move forward with processing the charge. Total CROOKS. Avoid them at all costs!!!

I had a leaking water heater and received a recommendation from a friend to have Pipe Bros come out to take a look. This was after I had another plumber come out and tell me that it would cost $1600 to replace my water heater because they had to bring it to code (mind you I live in a unit that was built in 2007) and it was an upstairs unit. Pipe Bros told me the leak was from the drain valve and the tank didn't need to replaced, though they did give me the option if I decided to replace it. They replaced the valve for a very reasonable price and the leak is gone. This was several months ago and still no leak. I appreciated their honesty and quick service.

They never came out, never did any work, and never bothered showing up. So why am I giving them 5 stars? Because they (Steve) did the unthinkable. After I explained the plumbing issue we were having at our home (I had called two other plumbers previously and they were scheduled to come out -- can't imagine what that might have run me), he suggested a very easy, quick-fix over the phone. Turned out, he was right. Had a water heater start to leak heavily and called Pipe Bros. Answered the call promptly and was transferred over to Steve who had me describe where I was seeing the leak and also to text over a couple of photos.

As it turned out definitely needed a new water heater (the bad news). The good news, they were able to get it delivered and installed same day. Titus (installer/plumber) arrived as scheduled and got us back up and running within a few hours.

Yesterday afternoon I was unpleasantly surprised to discover a leak outside in the pressure valve. I checked out Yelp and called Pipe Bros. They were able to come to my house within an hour! Christian diagnosed the problem, went to buy the needed parts (because my house is very old, the parts had to be replaced rather than fixed), and made the repair. This review is a little overdue but well deserved. We had a crack in our pipes and needed some plumbing done. It was a long weekend and I was calling around asking for anyone to show up and help. I posted a status on social media, and a friend referred me to pipe bros.

I was so trilled with their service and ability to come out an take care of business on a long weekend. We were having a BBQ and well, we needed our plumbing to work for our guests.

The owner is this nice guy who came out and gave me an estimate and asked how I heard of their company. I told him a friend referred me and to my surprise, he was so trilled about the word of mouth advertising that he slapped off a few dollars to help with my cost of repairs.

The work got done just like he said it would and within the estimate. I hate when people give you an estimate and go way over budget/time. The guy was so nice that I even invited him and his wife to my BBQ (they had other plans)!

Why 5 stars? I hardly ever give 5 stars but this guy deserved it. 1) when I called and left a message I got a quick return call, 2) came by right away to look at the work, 3) got it done in great time, and 4) reasonable pricing! I saved his contact info for future plumbing needs! You can't go wrong with this guys work!

Clogged sink pipes, toilet tank problems...these are things I know how to fix (thanks Dad). But when a shower valve needed replacing, I knew to bring in a pro. I called Pipe Bros by a friends recommendation and this is why they initially stuck in mind: because she said He left my bathroom CLEANER than when he arrived!!

Steve answered the first time I called and arrived in the earlier part of the time-window he gave me. He was sincere and friendly and didnt waste time getting to work. On a Friday afternoon I discovered a leaking, cracked pipe under my house. I immediately panicked & called a plumber I have used in the past. He was booked until Monday. I had to work Monday, so that wouldn't work. I turned to Yelp, which is where I always go when I don't know who to call. I scrolled through the different options & decided to go with pipe bros because of the reviews. When I called, a friendly woman answered & I asked if they could come out that day. They were fully booked, but she said they could come the next day. That shocked me because I didn't expect them to work on a Saturday. I asked if it was more expensive because it was a weekend & she said no. Another shock for me. I scheduled the appointment for 12-2pm. On Saturday, they called & said one of the plumbers had an emergency & they needed to change my appointment to 2-4pm. That really didn't work for me, so I was going to cancel, but they spoke to their plumber who said he could be there by 2pm. He actually arrived at 12:30pm. It only took him 15 mins to change the pipe. Yay! They were definitely worth the call. And, they have some nice coupons on their website. If you are on a tight budget (like me!) they can come in handy!

I had discovered an old/ broken and effing leaking water pressure regulator today, these guys came out fast on a Saturday and fixed/replaced it. Everything works now. I called Pipe Bros plumbing because of all their great reviews. I found a spot on my kitchen floor that was consistently hot and my water bill seemed to be higher than normal. Christian came out on time and was very professional and knowledgable. He was able to determine that we had a leak under our slab and even detected the location of the leak within a few hours. He gave a very reasonable price to do the repairs and by the following day my problem was fixed. I'm very happy with Pipe Bros and I highly recommend them for plumbing service. They are a great company!

After having called numerous local plumbers who didn't bother to show up or even call back, I called Pipe Bros Plumbing to fix a PVC pipe leak, and I couldn't be happier. The plumber was 100% professional and fixed the problem in 45 minutes. Even the dispatcher on their customer service line was helpful. Christian was knowledgeable, experienced, and more than helpful with their explanations and suggestions. He showed up ON TIME and within hours of being called. He even stayed on for an extra hour or so after the job was completed so they could test that the leak was indeed corrected.

Excellent service, excellent customer service and honest, Pipe Bros delivered all with a more then reasonable fee ! On a Sunday, a holiday and with houseguests, my main drain backed up, up through my toilets, bathtub and shower- Human Waste ! It was a nightmare. I left a message with a few. Pipe Bros called back shortly after another well known plumbing chain reached out and I booked the repair. Pipe Bros explained over the phone what song & dance pitch I might face with this possible expensive scenario and even offered to speak with the first plumbers on the phone posing as a friend ! Not only did the Pipe Bros' owner nail the rip off, but saved me thousands of dollars. Dwight was sent to my rescue and in 106 degree heat, (really!) after numerous attempts and much tenacity, opened the plugged main drain, which was failed by the well known previous plumbing company. Pipe Bros saved me from a $8000.00 + job quoted by the previous plumber. Dwight, cleaned up the horrid mess and the bill was a few hundred dollars !!! When you find a honest, capable and reasonable plumber, keep them !
I have and will continue to recommend this company of integrity and service.

A couple days ago I had a water heater leak and called Pipe Bros Plumbing in Pasadena. They came out the same day and diagnosed the problem and gave me a decent price to replace my old water heater. They installed a new water heater the same day and even disposed the old one for me! They even gave me tips on how I can get rebates through the City Water and Power since I bought an energy efficient water heater. Both sinks were backed up and full of dirty water. I found these guys on Yelp, called, and someone answered right away. I got a same day appointment and the problem was filly fixed within a half an hour. They gave me a fair price and accepted my credit card. I couldn't recommend these guys enough. I was in a bind to get some plumbing work done quickly, as another plumbing company i had an appointment with never showed up. Anyway, long story short.....I would not recommend this company, especially, in my opinion, if you are a woman as I was quoted outrageous prices and advised work to be done that was not necessary. I did have Christian do the work that I needed done immediately (replacing all the valves in the bathrooms) but not the others. Later on, I had other plumbers come in and give me estimates and they were about 40% cheaper than what I was quoted by Pipe Brothers.

A very pleasant service man came to fix a leaky problem toilet in my garage. The solution was a piece of wood to prop up the tank. So...Ok.

The service man came in to the house to write up the invoice and while he was inside I asked him about my bathroom faucet. The cold turned in a direction that was surprising to me. He explained that if it were a regular handle and not the one I had it would seem natural. This made sense to me, but we noticed the handle was loose while we were examining it and I asked if he could make it tighter. He did, and it took all of 45 seconds.

He then sat in my living room and wrote up the invoice. I was very surprised at the price but that's because I am cash poor. Haha! (love rich) He charged me $75 just to tighten the sink! I would have liked it, if he told me how many beans it was going to be at the time because it seemed like something I probably would have done myself eventually. He told me I could write a review for a discount. I don't think I would ever normally come here to mention my experience because it was really very normal and not particularly noteworthy. But since you asked...

UPDATE: I received a call from a supervisor one day after my review was posted and he told me he had noticed my review and wanted to make things right. I wasn't particularly in need of this. I only posted the review because they had insisted on it. He assured me that the service men are supposed to quote a price before working and he offered to refund the $75 charge for tightening the bathroom faucet handle. I thought this was very fair. He encouraged me to delete or edit my review in accordance with this refund. I have added a star because if I was quoted the price at the time, I would have been much happier.

Several days ago I began to experience a homeowners; nightmare [water coming through downstairs light fixtures for an upstairs leak] which unfolded over several days. The technician Steve sent out was Christian who, over the course of several days, made things easier for me.

We have had several small leaks in the past 6 months. The first time we used Efficient Plumbing. They were great. The next time they weren't immediately available so we went w/ another plumbing contractor. To say the second group were the three stooges would be putting it mildly. Now with another leak we went back to Efficient Plumbing and worked with their recent acquisition (partnership?) Pipe Bros. Titus was on time, he quickly identified the issues and got to work. He was SOOOO tidy in cutting open the dry wall (the last guys made a huge mess). He communicated options and costs at every step of the way.

And to add on to that I called another plumbing service for their quota on the same job Pipe Bro's were going to do and the other service gave an estimate of $200 cheaper. I am an apartment manager so I call Pipe Bros often. They are my go-to plumbers. They always send someone promptly. The guys they send out are respectful, knowledgeable, explain things well (important for me cuz I don't understand anything abt plumbing ), and friendly. They're prompt and dependable. After 3 months, I finally have a working sink again! I have had construction going on in my house since July due to a burst pipe in my wall. Reached out to them one afternoon and they were able to get out the very next day. Easy to communicate with and coordinate arrival. They provided a two hour time block and narrowed it down as they were able to more accurately provide arrival time.

Awesome that they promote being pet friendly, though they don't promote being child friendly haha.. made me wish I had a pet so they could be friendly to it.

They showed up at the arranged time and no creep factor at all. Christian and his partner were courteous without being intrusive. Sad that it seems so rare to get any kind of in-home service without the concern of being unsafe. They took about 15-20 min to evaluate all of the things we needed and provided estimates for repair or replacement for each. They don't have a showroom but they described the replacement products to us and Christian went to retrieve them while his partner worked on removing and prepping everything at the house. Within hours we had replaced everything and it's been groovy ever since!

There's a 50$ inspection fee pre-payment that can get credited towards any service that you proceed with. The repairs and replacement estimates didn't seem unreasonable. Now I can go back to doing dishes without worrying about anything. Woohoo.

I am so impressed with the guy who came out today. Over a year ago we had another plumber come and pipe bros was able to show me the hacky short cuts this guy took and then fixed them. He properly replaced the pipe that was leaking, he caulked the counter and sink where water was leaking and causing the wood to rot, and he used metal pieces to strengthen the wood areas and keep our faucet stable. He was quick, efficient, clean, and very respectful. We will definitely call pipe pros for any future plumbing issues.

Finally found the Holy Grail of plumbers: guys who are honest, know their business, and are fast to the job and fast to finish. Steven, on the phone, was patient, clear, and honest. His technician Kevin came to our house in Mission Viejo within the hour Monday night after 6:00 pm, and swiftly and professionally solved our frustrating clogging problem (every shower and toilet in the house backing up for the last three days). We called Pipe Bros to fix an emergency toilet clog-- having found them on Yelp due to their good reviews (which must all be fake? ). The told us they'd be able to waive the usual emergency visit fee over the phone. What they didn't tell us was that we were about to be subject to:

1. Ridiculous price gouging.

Their plumber arrived 2 hours late at 8pm and told us that they would have to perform a emergency clean-out before they could un-clog the toilets. They quoted us $1500 (I found out later that clean-outs usually cost $700-800)--and by that time we didn't have a choice but to pay thinking that they would finish the job right away....

2. Shady business practices.

Once we agreed to pay $1500, they told us that they would have to come back the next day to do the clean out. They quickly unclogged the toilets before they left though... So, it seems they arrived late and lied about needing the clean out in order to fix the clog... They also tried to upsell us some sort of video/hose service-- the plumber quoted us $250 while the owner tried to sell it to us for $350.

3. Horrible customer service.

When we called to complain about the price, the owner made up a bunch of excuses saying that they had to charge extra because it was late/a weekend job. Also, after the clean-out was completed, one of the toilets was still clogged and we had to schedule for the plumber to come out one more time. He never scheduled an exact time; instead, he called us at at 10am saying that he could go to the house at 10:30am-- which was not a good time for us because we were on the road driving. Other people were at the house to let him in so he went ahead with out me. He completed the job at 10:37pm and then called to demand payment immediately.... When I told him that we couldn't pay right away because I was driving and that I made it CLEAR to him that I would not be able to be there in person, he said verbatim i have other appointments, I don't work around your schedule-- you work around mine.

Never use Pipe Bros Plumbing! Run far far away!

D for estimating (50% increase in the bid price when they got to the job site);
A for friendliness of the estimator but
F for the friendliness of the crew;
F for communication; and
D for cleaning up after themselves.
Bottom line: if you are not in a hurry, do not care about them showing up on time or finishing within the time frame they estimated, do not care if the price is way higher than you were told, do not care if the workers communicate with you, and do not mind cleaning up after them, these guys will do what they say and do it well. For everyone else, keep looking.

We had a clogged Kitchen Sink and another Plumber came out and spent an hour accomplishing nothing only to tell us he had to come back the next day with a main line machine to fix the problem. We were told they would return but they never did. I called Pipe Bros and we were given an appointment and Kevin showed up on time with a Can Do attitude and determined how to unclog our sink and got some necessary supplies, used a snake, no main line machine, and we now have an unclogged sink. Kevin was highly professional and cleaned everything up and we will now use Pipe Bros for all our plumbing needs. Clogged Kitchen Sink -

Kevin from Pipe Bros was prompt and on schedule, very polite and listened to what the issue was. Within minutes of his arrival, he explained what was needed to be done and clearly outlined the cost in advanced. Everything was agreeable and he went to work. He was a gentleman and pleasure to work with during his service visit. Once done, he cleaned up and all was back in order.

Having a clogged kitchen sink, clogged well past the p-traps toward the main drain to the street, is frustrating as it pretty much kills any real form of preparing meals and more so cleaning up after them. Within about 30 minutes, he snaked the drain clean, and solved the problem.

We had a clogged toilet that defied our plunger for TWO DAYS! It wasn't pretty, so we finally gave in and called Pipe Bros for backup. When the appointed time came, I got a courtesy call letting me know our plumber was en route. Christian arrived promptly, discussed pricing, and had us back in business within minutes of arriving!

What can I say I've tried different plumbing services for both my home and business and this by far my favorite one. Not only do they provide great service on time but also cheap prices what more can anyone ask for. My water heater was busted and drain was in bad shape. I had a consultation first and what was described and quoted to me is exactly what happened. I can't stress what a relief it was to not to have any surprises. Overwhelmed how good they are! Day after Thanksgiving and my toilet tank's chain broke, so I could no longer flush my toilet. Had a card for George ... at another company. Sure, he said. He'd be out by 4 PM. Gave me his cell phone number, so it was a surprise he didn't come AT ALL! . And, reaching him by phone became impossible.

Then? I went to YELP, and found the most wonderful plumbing company. Dealing with honest people. Even Stacy who answered the phone!

I live in Orange County and called a local plumbing service that had great ratings (Efficient Plumbing). They made an appointment for us to repair a faulty shower valve in our kids bathroom. They must have a partnership with Pipe Bros because Titus came (and was in good communications with their dispatch) and repaired the faulty cartridge. He was professional and friendly. We appreciate how he verified the issue before going to get the proper parts for the fixture. He tested everything and ensured everything was clean before heading out. I thought the price for the repair was fair and appreciated his punctuality. Overall a great experience...thanks Pipe Bros!

Yesterday, I had problems connecting with this company and wrote a negative review. The communication problem was like something out of the Twilight Zone. Somehow, my call to Pipe Brothers was received by Rescue Rooter. This caused all kinds of confusion, with multiple calls telling me someone would be out between 2 and 4 p.m. another that someone would be out between 4 and 6 and, finally, a call from Rescue Rooter that they couldn't make that evening.

Today, as promised by Pipe Brothers, one of their technicians, Dave came out and patiently dealt with a seeming minor job that became a major job. In the process of working in cramped conditions with ancient plumbing, he was patient, courteous and thorough.

I can highly recommend Pipe Brothers.

Had a terrible clog in my kitchen sink so i Called pipe bros and they showed up in 15 to 20 mins. Jason, the plumber, was very professional and nice. He fixed the clogged pipes in 20 mins. Great service. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Super quick response - less than 30 minutes after I called. I asked about the house visit fee, and Steve said $49 minimum but is applied towards the work. Titus showed up, tried to augur the toilet (which I had also tried) and said there seemed to be something hard stuck inside and the best thing to do would be to unseat it from the pipe and then redo the wax seal. He said it would take 45 minutes, but it only took him about 35 minutes. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that I think $225 is a lot for 45 minutes worth of work. On the other hand, I didn't comparison shop, so perhaps this is reasonable.

Turns out my dog dropped a rawhide bone in the toilet. They expand when wet, but they don't dissolve, so it was a near perfect clog.

We had an area of drywall that was wet and drywall particles falling on the floor of our garage. When we touched the area on the ceiling it had a dampness to it. Pipe Bros came and cut a small hole and discovered a small leak coming from the upstairs shower faucets and spout. The technician knew right away that the small gaps in caulking in the shower was causing the water to leak down into the garage. He caulked around the spout and faucets. Job well done! They weren't trying to sell me on anything else that we didn't need. He was very honest and the house call fee was applied to the balance for him to complete the job. I would use Pipe Bros. again. Reliable, honest, and great communication skills in the technician that came out. We're happy with a job well done without the overpricing. Ask for Titus! He was excellent!

My water heater just stopped working. I went here on Yelp to look for a plumber with good reviews to come out. Glad I called Pipe Bros. Dwight and his co worker came out in the morning to asses damage and called to let me know I needed a new one. They came out later in the same day to install new water heater. Great service. Dwight was very professional and knew his stuff. Also replaced regulator as mine was not working properly. Stayed until job was completed and never complained or charged extra. I will recommend Dwight and Pipe Bros. to anyone I know who is in need of an honest plumbing service. Great job.

Titus was my plumber and he was amazing. Showed up on time, was knowledgeable about what needed to happen (I had an ABS pipe that became detached), was fast, and super nice. He also helped me identify the cause of a clogged pipe and drained it.

Cost was totally reasonable (as a reference, some other quotes I got were almost 3xs what I ended up paying). Communication was excellent. Got a response to a quote request immediately. Receptionist who helped get my appt scheduled was friendly & helpful.

I am so happy that I chose Pipe Bros for the work I needed. And I highly, highly recommend them to anyone who needs to have plumbing work done.

I am a real estate agent that manages several properties in the South Pasadena area. My usual plumber has to come a long ways in order to service the properties in this area. One of the tenants had an emergency and requested service immediately. I contacted Pipe Brothers and received immediate appointment for the same day. I thought they would charge more for the immediate service, but when Titus showed up at the property, he called me to explain what he found, charged a normal service fee and fixed the problem.

I will be using Pipe Brothers for all my properties that I manage in this area from now on. I give them my highest recommendations.

I came home this afternoon and there was a pool of water running from my unit to the garage door. I went online and called several plumbers of which Pipe Bros was the 2nd. I received a call back almost instantaneously! After describing my problem, their agent told me a representative would arrive within the hour. A few minutes later Steve called asked me to review the problem with him and he arrived within 10-15 minutes. Upon reviewing my water heater, Steve carefully explained the repair issues and costs. He was very detailed in letting me know which costs I needed to pay and those that would be covered by my homeowners insurance. Although I panicked at first, after talking with Steve, I understood the problem and felt more at ease. He also started to resolve my problem right away. Already, I am very impressed with Pipe Bros because of Steve's courtesy, professionalism, knowledge of the problem, well as how to resolve it. I feel confident that my plumbing problem will be resolved appropriately. At this point, I have no hesitation about recommending Pipe Bros.

Steve at pipe bro has great service! pipe bro was the only company I found opens on Saturday. it was emergency, the earthquake broke my water heater pipe with leaking everywhere in my garage.. But since it was on the weekend and he couldn't replace the whole water heater until the following Monday... so he fixed the leaking temporary for the weekend.. also I told him other water problems I have around the house and he suggested fix it all at once.. so on Monday he came really early and wow it was very professionally done.. everything turns out prefect.. installed new water heater, fixed the sink, fixed the shower leaking, fixed water pressure.. all these was done in 4hrs.. and was all done within my budget.. I would definitely call Steve for any water issue with my house, he is expert that I can trust at reasonable price and he opens even on weekend.

This morning I found a leak on my outside faucet. Within 30 minutes of calling, I was greeted by Steve at Pipe Brothers. He gave me a quote on fixing my leaky valves and then started work. He was finished a few hours later.

I was very impressed with his expertise and professionalism. He even checked the water pressure to my house and the back yard. I highly recommend this plumber and will call them again if I need them.

I had a main drain line leak directly above my cars in my garage. I called them knowing full well that the drain line cast iron pipes needed to be replaced. I work 7 days a week and a lot of hours, so I needed them to stick to a time and make sure it was done in a timely manner. At the same time, I'm not crazy, so of course I wanted them to beat the price I was quoted by another reputable company.

Pipe Bros beat the price reasonably, but also came in at the expected time, did the job, cleaned up their mess, and left in time for me to get ready for my next meeting.

We have a 41 year old home in Dana Point with 4 original Kohler Rochelle toilets that we love and want to keep. Their innards don't last forever and we've had to change out the flow valves over the years with the part alone being $390. They are temperamental toilets and difficult to work with. We've learned that most plumbers don't want to deal with them and aren't experienced enough to know how to change out the parts. In truth I called quite a few 5 star reviewed plumbers in my area that either did not return my call or didn't get back to me after I described our toilets. We had the greatest plumber for many years who unfortunately moved away and now we needed a new one - a very good one - one who was experienced and could do the job - one who would charge a fair price, not an outrageous one....... Found one here by the name of Titus. I am relieved ! I found my plumber ; ). For the record he was timely, kind, professional and clearly experienced as he had to adjust ill fitting brand new parts - as things just aren't made as well as they used to be. I'm a do-it-yourselfer so I am well aware that his work was way out of my league and I couldn't be more pleased (and relieved) with the results. Thank you Titus !

They bought out my previous plumbing company that I used...tried to give them a chance and found that I was charged $49 for ME to tell them what the problem is and how to fix it. They could not figure it out on their own! Then they had to call their instructor for further guidance. Yep-not a chance I let them work on my home. Found a more reliable plumber that isn't a huge run of the mill workers.
