Called Garett for a leaky sink issue at 6pm on a holiday weekend. Garett answered the phone and scheduled an appointment first thing Sunday morning. I received a text update on his timely arrival, and completion of work. I also got a call with details of the repair. He even checked our water heater while he was there. I would definitely recommend Clear Water Plumbing and will be using them again! Thanks Garett!

Super quick and reliable service!  They got all of the info needed from repair request form and did not bog me down with asking me to call extra numbers.   Instead they texted me giving me some times they could do same-day repair or installation!  Super honest-- and they ended up replacing our garbage disposal and installing it.  Wonderful!!!

I decided to replace my ruptured hot water heater and recirculating pump with a tankless system. I had worked with Garett over a year ago, when he was one of the Lead Technicians for a larger plumbing company, and I had learned that he had now ventured out on his own. He recommended a Navien tankless system. Garett is extremely professional, intelligent, personable, and very easy to communicate with about the work and your concerns. His workmanship is great. His pricing is below that of a larger plumbing company, maybe slightly higher than your average owner/operator plumber, but his work is well worth the few extra dollars. He instills confidence that everything is done properly. I even had him install a utility sink in the garage while he had the pipes exposed. I have no reservations in recommending Clear Water Plumbing.

We had some problems with our tankless water heater and Garret came out, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the broken part. The whole experience was great. Rylee was excellent in scheduling, she got back to me quickly and was able to set up an appointment right away. Clear Water Plumbing also uses an automated system to let you know that they are on their way making it very convenient. I am very pleased with Clear Water Plumbing and excited to have a plumber I can count on.

Austin came out and provided me with a free estimate.  

I had done my homework and found out what the average cost for the job would be.  

A prior company had come out for a cost up front, and the estimate company B provided was 200% over the average. :(

Austin's quote came in a bit below average, which saved me quite a bit of money.

He was professional and friendly and the work was done well and on time.

I was interested in changing out the shower kit in my bathroom and contacted this company.  Garrett called and walked me through it, explained the costs up front and even though I decided the job was more involved than I had planned and decided not to do it, he gave me some good advice and explained what I could do was a moderate DIYer and what I probably should watch out for.  Very honest guy and even offered to to provide additional advice if I had a question.  He could have bilked me for seemingly simple services, but it seems obvious that this is not what he's all about.  If I need services in the future, I will contact someone like him.

We used Clearwater for a whole house repipe after experiencing a water leak. We called Tony, the office manager, and realizing the severity of the situation he immediately dispatched Austin to diagnose the issue. Austin came, saw and made recommendations as to what was needed. We then met with Garrett, the owner, who gave us his recommendations. After meeting with other companies we decided on Clearwater to repipe our home.
From start to finish Clearwater was a class act. Tony was very pleasant and efficient. Garrett was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. All the crew were timely, pleasant and their work was perfection, from tearing apart the walls, repiping, drywall repair and cleanup.

Can I tell you Garett was awesome! On time responsive and gave me the skinny prior to doing all the work. We had two sinks that we tried unplugging ourselves via all the tricks and that didn't work. This is an update to a previous review.

Garrett saved the day again. After helping with the much-needed plumber's report and diagnosis for an insurance claim he fortunately did an inspection around the house and ended up catching a very slow leak from our Tankless water heater that had been installed incorrectly. And he noticed that the settings weren't right and fixed it so that we get instant hot water - which the system should have been providing all along.

While leak damages were being addressed, we decided it was a good idea to Repipe and Clear Water took care of everything and worked well with the mitigation crew.  Garrett's team was thorough, timely, efficient, good at troubleshooting, repairing, clean-up.

Another dishonest repair man who gives you a flat fee over the phone and his technician comes and says something else completely. Stop doing this and be honest so next time you'll get a 5 star and eat a customer. Please don't call me apologising and explaining. We were not born yesterday

My wife and I were searching to put in a tankless water heater. I found that Garrett did this type of work. I called him and the next day he was at my house putting in the system.

I have had a lot of work done to my house, most of the workers leave the area that they are working in a mess, not Garrett he cleaned everything up when he was done with the work! Also the price that he gave me was the price I paid, which was very reasonable.

As a mom of two young kids having fast and reliable service is very important especially when it comes to the water in your home! Clear Water Plumbing made changing out my my kitchen faucet quick and easy! We had a working kitchen sink  in no time! The technician was on time, reliable, friendly and knowledgeable. Clear Water has a small-family business vibe that does quality work in the community. My next big project will be a tankless system and water softener which I will surely contact them about. Honest, knowledgeable, transparent, fair, competitive, and excellent detail to work.

Our water heater went out and started to leak.  Pretty common in south OC since the water is so hard.  I looked on Yelp to find the best plumbers in the area and Clear Water Plumbing was one of the three we called for estimates.  When I talked to Garett he was very genuine and down to earth.  It was clear he wanted to earn my business; he arranged to come out the same day and even beat the arrival time he gave us.  When he arrived he took a look at the water heater and saw there was a pinhole leak in one of the hoses.  He could have very easily tried to push a new water heater but, instead, Garett confirmed it was only a small leak and he fixed it right then with parts that wouldn't spring any leaks in the future.  Outstanding!

Garett is the real deal.  After meeting him I listened as he explained the problem, answered all of my questions, and saw the efficiency of his work, I knew the job would be done right the first time.

We called Clear Water for problem we had to instal the washer water line. Garett came he was knowledgeable, Fast and honest. He gave us an estimate by sending the photo for the water pipe and valve. He said there is no need to change the valve and he took care of the problem with lower price. He offered to take care of other plumbing problem with no charges.

I cannot say enough good things about this company and Austin, who came out to replace my garbage disposal. First off, they were the only company that gave me a price right away for how much it would cost to replace the disposal. They didn't try to charge me a fee to come out and look at it. We had a main water line burst in the front of our house. Clearwater came out and replaced the main line and installed brand new copper piping. I didn't think it was something I cared about, but he left his work agree very tidy and the new copper piping (that is exposed) is so clean looking!

The ancient water heater in our newly purchased home broke 3 weeks after we bought the house.  Being new to the area, we called several plumbing companies and Austin at Clear Water gave us the best quote with turn time of one day - we had zero hot water in our house!  Austin's over-the-phone knowledge and honesty, however, lost him a job because he suggested that we might want to first check to see if we were given a home warranty as part of our purchase.  Might cost us less $$.

It has been 10 years since we replaced our water heater. A disastrous water leak in our garage alerted us it was time to replace it. Disaster struck  again , the price my plumber quoted last week after noticing the corrosion on top of heater ... it's time again!!
I understand these are inflationary times but more than double the price in 10 years?? I told him I was going to shop around. I sent out a job request on YELP and Garrett from Clear Water plumbing was the first to respond. He offered me the same water heater for 350 less!!! My husband and I read his 5 star reviews, checked out his License# and offered him the job. Glad we did.

We came home to an outside water leak at 9:30pm on a Sunday, turned off the main line, and contacted Clear Water 1st thing the next morning! Garrett was here at 8am on a Monday (holiday, Labor Day)! He was so responsive and we are very grateful! His prices are fair and his work was very fast. Super professional and very kind!

Clear Water responded on a Sunday and came out first thing Monday morning and fixed several plumbing issues.  Pricing was ok and service excellent.  Our guy was very professional and made sure we understood the problem.

This company was recommended by a friend. I gave them a try. The correspondence was mainly through Yelp messaging.

They provided and estimate and a time was provided. Not a window like 1 pm to 3 pm. No, they said they will be at my home at 1:00 pm. Time came, contacted the company by message are you still coming?

The tech finally came. Not Garret.

He had no idea what was the visit about. Like to replace a faucet and remove a garbage disposal and put the strainer in place with a proper piping.

He wondered around and asked what are we doing (he already passed the kitchen) I pointed to the kitchen and provided some insights. Oh, okay, so what am I suppose to put instead of the garbage disposal? He asked. He said he needed to buy parts and reconstruct the whole system, now the job is climbing quickly towards $700!

He also indicated that the one scheduling the jobs was new and he did not know much about the jobs. Perhaps true. But, to me the one that sounded and looked lost was him! Not the one scheduling the jobs.  At the end and over all extremely disappointing visit.

The 3 stars are for the one scheduling. He would actually get 5 stars, he was nice, professional and he called to make sure we talk about the job to be done before the quote and the visit.

Our bathtub had a leak at the overflow and drain. After time I had noticed that the ceiling directly below the bath was staining with water. I contacted Clear Water plumbing via Yelp and was given an estimate and scheduled an in-home estimate.

Garrett was the plumber who was dispatched to give us our in-home estimate. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us a rundown of what was going to be needed and the additional work that would be needed to be contracted by another company. After the estimate, we scheduled an appointment for the work to be done the following week.

Garrett showed up for the appointment on time and began the work. The job ended up taking longer than expected as our plumbing had some additional issues that needed to be remedied. Garrett was very open and communicative as to what was going on with the job and his approximations as to how long it would take to finish the job properly. Once all was said and done, the bathtub is like new and we are completely satisfied with the work!

I would highly recommend Clear Water plumbing to anyone looking for a good quality work at a good price. Garrett is an awesome person and we will not hesitate to do business with him and Clear Water plumbing again!
