Best Water Heater Installation in Indianapolis IN
We are in the middle of moving and fulfilling all repairs needed to be done before the new buyers close on the house. Steve was incredibly responsive and provided a quote in a matter of minutes. Winter's Plumbing was such an interesting mix of great and not-so-great. I've contacted them twice; they are routinely more quickly available than most other plumbers, which is great as plumbing is always urgent. The first time, another plumber was available same day (unusual). The second time in need, Winters was available the following morning, which was excellent. It even made me look past Winters' $239 price for clearing a bathroom sink clog: perhaps it was that high because the work would be on a Saturday. And when I called back and mentioned that I had Covid but would stay out of circulation, it didn't phase Winters. Amazing. They promised arrival 9 AM, called at 8 AM to tell us they'd be there promptly at 9:00, and they were. Superb. Wore booties, checked everything out, and went to work. UNFORTUNATELY: they couldn't clear the clog. (Yes, we have an old house but I don't believe we've ever had a plumber who couldn't clear the line.
Can't say they didn't try: Vacuum hose: no. Small snake: no. Large snake: oops, too large Small Snake: machine locked up, started smoking. 1+ hour and a few calls to HQ, no success. Leaving our front door open multiple times wasn't good (very active cats). A request that I pay 1/2 now and 1/2 when they fixed it on Tuesday: I had to firmly pass. An explanation of what they would do on Tuesday: didn't give me confidence. Final outcome: I proposed paying their entire service charge (a much lower-than-market $39, nice) and letting them spend Tuesday on other customers: accepted. Again, a real mix of very good and not very good, from very nice people.

Scott from Cooper's Water, LLC was recommended to us by a neighbor. He came and diagnosed a broken soft water resin tank and from start to finish our service was professional, extremely courteous, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this company and the technician, Jesse, who arrived to service the drinking water filtration system and to replace the resin tank.
It was apparent that the previous plumber had misdiagnosed the issue and was not transparent about the options. I appreciated the honesty and presentation of options that helped us decide what was best for our situation. I highly recommend!!!

I have been using Chapman for the last 4 years on my personal homes and several rental properties. They have installed 4 ac units for me in that time. Every time I call they come out same or next day, once on a Saturday they came within 3 hours! Estimates are always clearly presented to me, even with a variety of options. The service techs are always timely, presentable, and polite. I always feel I am getting the best deal and good value. I've used other companies at my place of business due to contracts and would prefer to use Chapman!! Give them a try!

Watch out for the additional charges. He added $40 worth of parts that he never told me about until he was done. His prices I feel are inflated. I paid $335 to have a $75 sink faucet replaced.
He waited 81 days to deposit my check. In that time I had to get a new checking account. I didn't close out my account until more than 30 days since the last interaction was posted, but I didn't validated all checks had been paid out. To be honest I right maybe 3 checks a year so I didn't think about it. I would think a entrepreneur would want to get paid and wouldn't sit on a check for 81 days.
When my check was returned I immediately paid him, but he was adamant that it was all my fault and I had to pay his returned check fee. My mistake was an honest one and I paid my debt. He wouldn't budge on his returned check fee.
Update...for the record I paid the return check fee and PayPal fee. It was you that offered to return those fees after a long morning of debating

OMG. Finally, professionals who tell you when they'll arrive, show up early, tell you all your options, what it will cost, are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and clean up after themselves.
I had my 25+ year old toilet replaced in my house built in 1925. Brendan & Ryan arrived, assessed the situation, gave me the price options and did the work. Did the whole job on a FRIDAY afternoon (when most people want to beat feet for the wkend) in about an hour. All that and a ten year warranty.

After another plumbing company came out and misdiagnosed where the source of a leak was, I called Howald. Austin responded immediately and came out within an hour. It turned out to be an issue for HVAC and not plumbing. Dan from HVAC was on call for the weekend and came out the same evening. He quickly found the problem and fixed it. So thankful for the intelligent employees at Howald!

I called this company after reading the reviews online after waking up to no heat at all on one of the coldest days of the year. My inside temp was 50 degrees. I put in an emergency call at 6:38 am Tuesday 1/16/2018. I was advised a technician would call me when they were on their way to my home...I'm still waiting on that technician to call me. Absolutely unprofessional, especially in an emergency situation. Did not and will not ever use their services. Had to select at least one star in order to leave this comment however, I would choose zero if I could!

We had just purchased a new home that required a lot of updates before our move in date. The home was in disrepair, including the furnace and A/C unit. I called Godby to come out and determine whether or not it could be repaired or if we needed a whole new system.
The representative that they sent out was very knowledgeable and explained to us the issues with the existing system. They got us a number quickly and were able to get our furnace, coil and A/C unit replaced under budget.
The technicians that installed our new system were great. They were clean cut, nicely dressed and did a great job. We were extremely happy with the service provided and will definitely use Godby again.

My central air failed about a month ago - compressor bearing. I spoke with several companies and Action Air came out on top for a number of reasons:
1. They were able to provide some rough estimates over the phone - not commitments - just estimates.
2. They provided several ideas about what I could check before diving into a new system
3. Their contract for equipment and service and warranty is clear, concise and simple - no fine print
4. They didn't miss a single commitment on getting the job done.
5. Their costs were competitive - and they were transparent about them.
How their competitors operate:
In my experience with (all) other HVAC companies, they will not provide any cost estimates without a home visit which they charge for - usually around $80. This cost is then voided if you buy from them. For me, I paid another company the $80 for the service call, then they quoted me 20% more for the system. The worst is when the service provider does the service call, but they have to send a sales person in for the quote. This NVA overhead ultimately gets paid by the end customer (see 20% higher cost above). This sales approach is so 1990s. Hey, let's figure out a way to get paid for our sales effort... our service call will get us in the door, we'll hook the customer by agreeing to wave the charge if they buy from us and then hike our prices to pay for commissions, overhead, etc. This is a formula that is one-way transnational and kills any hope for an ongoing customer relationship. Do they really think their customers are not sophisticated enough to get this?
So in the end, Action Air is the best HVAC service I have ever experienced. Pretty cool.

Okay, I'm dropping summers. I've had them for three years, never payed any attention just blindly trusted them. But and however, my furnace had a yearly checkup, they told me everything looks fine but considering it's age, it probably would be a good idea on replacing it before it goes out and doing it soon as possible because of the pandemic scheduling and prices. I said I'll think about it... They leave and I notice the heater isn't coming on. I called them back telling them it hasn't worked since they inspected it. They come back, take an hour looking at it and tell me they think it's dead, the main board is fried and the only way to know would be to order another board and swap them out but that would cost me nearly $1,000 so I'm probably better off just replacing it and they quoted me new ones.
Well, I ended up paying another company to come out to look it over because I didn't like how convenient it stopped working after they inspected it and tried selling me a new one felt to me. This guy came out for $85 fee and told me within 5min it was just the capacitor and replaced it for $30 while laughing at summers maintenance guys at what they said and did and missed, and like magic it works like a champ again.

A year ago, we signed up for their service plan for our daughter, which is $12/month, because we don't live in Indiana. Last Friday they installed a new air conditioner. They had to remove the furnace in order to complete the installation. When my daughter got up this morning, the furnace wouldn't come on (it's only about 2 years old). It was 63° in her house at that time. It's going to get down to 29° tonight. When she called Peterman, she was told by a very rude person, named Denesha they could come out until tomorrow. She explained that they did something wrong to the furnace 2 days before. No matter. They can't help her. I them called, not very happy, and also talked to the snotty Denesha. I wanted to speak to a lead tech, but no, I got her office mate. She was also not nice. Can't help. Doesn't even want to try and help. If my daughter's pipes freeze tonight, I guess they'll want to charge her for that too. Terrible response for something they caused. Let's see if the owner bothers to call me about this situation they caused and refused to come out today to remedy it.
