Best Toilet Installation in Indianapolis IN
We have just moved to Fishers and we needed a plumber to set up our water softener and our backup sump pump. We called around, but decided to go with Steve. He was very professional and accommodating. The guy he sent out to do the job was not very friendly in the beginning. He was not happy that he had to hook up our water softener. After he was done he walked me down to show me how to use the water softener and back up sump pump. He did a great job at going over the back up sump pump. However he had told me that the water softener needed to regenerate and for some reason it was not working and he did not know why. I then had to ask him do I need to reach back out to you if it doesn't regenerate as he said I guess. After him leaving i sat down to read the information booklet that came with the water softener and realized it needed 5gallons of water to start and then had to call the 1-800 number on the booklet. To which we figured out it wasn't turned on to service it was turned on to bypass. After turning it to service it was working per

Winter's Plumbing was such an interesting mix of great and not-so-great. I've contacted them twice; they are routinely more quickly available than most other plumbers, which is great as plumbing is always urgent. The first time, another plumber was available same day (unusual). The second time in need, Winters was available the following morning, which was excellent. It even made me look past Winters' $239 price for clearing a bathroom sink clog: perhaps it was that high because the work would be on a Saturday. And when I called back and mentioned that I had Covid but would stay out of circulation, it didn't phase Winters. Amazing. They promised arrival 9 AM, called at 8 AM to tell us they'd be there promptly at 9:00, and they were. Superb. Wore booties, checked everything out, and went to work. UNFORTUNATELY: they couldn't clear the clog. (Yes, we have an old house but I don't believe we've ever had a plumber who couldn't clear the line.
Can't say they didn't try: Vacuum hose: no. Small snake: no. Large snake: oops, too large Small Snake: machine locked up, started smoking. 1+ hour and a few calls to HQ, no success. Leaving our front door open multiple times wasn't good (very active cats). A request that I pay 1/2 now and 1/2 when they fixed it on Tuesday: I had to firmly pass. An explanation of what they would do on Tuesday: didn't give me confidence. Final outcome: I proposed paying their entire service charge (a much lower-than-market $39, nice) and letting them spend Tuesday on other customers: accepted. Again, a real mix of very good and not very good, from very nice people.

Just had Seriously 24-7 out to work on our clogged kitchen sink. They was able to come out same day, even for a non-emergency. Dan L. and Antoneo W. did a great job, were very professional and friendly, and were done in no time! Will gladly call these guys back should we need any plumbing work in the future.

Came out to check out a toilet I thought I had a problem with. It was fine. Offered to look at another issue with a faucet since he was already there. Great service.

This was my first time using Chapman for my heat pump maintenance. Scheduling the appointment was easy. The technician showed up promptly, assessed the problem, offered me options to remedy the situation, and got right to work. Each step of the process was explained to me, and I chose those items I felt were necessary. I never felt rushed or pressured.
This experience was so different from my last dealings with Dial One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning. I was a customer of theirs for more than 25 years, but I refuse to deal with a company that thinks it is acceptable corporate behavior to have a representative contact me and demand, threaten, and yell at me in order to re-gain my business.
If the need arises, I will again contact Chapman for any service or repair to my heating/cooling equipment. I hope they send their technician Desmond back; he was very nice.

Mike's is fantastic! He's done a number of things at our place, from spa repairs to fixing some faucets and locks. He's a great communicator, timely, and charges a fair price. Highest recommendation.

Bob is a really great guy who did not hesitate to give me some great common sense advice regarding our rocking horse toilet. He quoted me a fair price and was honest. This guy is great! He is officially my go to guy for all my future plumbing needs!

OVER $400.00 TO RESEAL TOILET!
A toilet in my house had a small leak from the seal on the floor. I called Carter's My Plumber to request an estimate to reseal it. They told me $273.00 over the phone. It seemed a little high, but I made an appointment for the next day. The plumber that arrived was a nice young man, we like him. The only extra parts were for a new shutoff valve on the water intake line next to the toilet (a $5.00 part). Somehow, my bill soared to $411.00! For that amount of money, I could have purchased a higher end toilet from Home Depot and had them install it. So, I'm very dissatisfied with what I got for my money. The bill should have been $273.00 and maybe another $20.00 for the shutoff valve (including labor). So, before you call the plumber, think Home Depot or Lowes, get a price on a new toilet including installation. I think you'll be MUCH happier.

Update (Feb 2019): We just had to replace our furnace (20 years old) and we had PHP come out to give a quote. Ryan (the owner) came out and spent plenty of time with me to fully know what our needs were. In addition to replacing the furnace unit, we needed a big section of the duct work to be moved. He came up with some clever solutions for the ducting and a great offer on an efficient furnace. They guys were here quickly, did a very good job, kept the whole place clean and were out in just a few hours. We could not be happier! Such great people and service.

I woke up to a laundry room emergency - a large puddle of water overflowing onto the hardwood floors into the hallway.
I called several plumbing companies, and Maxwell & Sons was the first to return my call.
Mike and his assistant were at my house in about an hour, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the faulty water heater at a reasonable pice. I would highly recommend their services for anyone with plumbing services needs.

First time we used Big Frog Plumbing based on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Scott arrived on time and was very pleasant. He came up with a solution that eliminated the need to cut into our drywall. Impressive! We will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Can't say enough about how great they are. I've hired other plumbers before but every time I felt been ripped off. Not anymore.
The issue was this weird humming sound every morning. It's really hard to tell what it was. So I contacted action air because they are trained on both HVAC and plumbing. They came here on time with a 30 minute call before hand. They spent 20 minutes identifying the source. It turned out to be the toilet fill valve gasket. Easy fix. Excellent work! And they didn't charge much. Will always call they in the future.

Jimmie Self with Who's Our Plumber is one of the most honest, fair, diligent, and knowledgeable plumbing contractors I have ever worked with. I have hired Jimmie to work on my own house multiple times, and including 2 slab leaks that required the excavation of a portion of my garage, porch, sidewalk, and the installation of a brand new service line. The company was not only diligent in completing the work, but also great at communicating with the my insurance company directly. I recommend Who's your plumber to all of my real estate clients, friends, and family, and everyone has had an excellent experience related to timely service, pricing, and having their plumbing problem solved.

We were in need of emergency service to fix our washer and dryer. I called at 12:30 to check on availability and they were at my house by 3. They fixed the issue quickly while also explaining to me why the issue was occurring and how to notice in the future of a potential problem. I was impressed by the professionalism of each person I spoke with today and their rate was extremely reasonable. A Team will be my first call the next time we need a plumber.

We were a part of the jobs that helped him launch his business! Lately though, we've emailed and sent text messages requesting his service on at least 3 occasions! We got no response with either type of contact! We're aware that he's doing a lot more commercial jobs now which we're assuming is the reason for ignoring us!

Richard was awesome! He came out to look at a hot water pressure issue we had. He took the time to thoroughly explain and make sure we were comfortable with everything. I would highly recommend Richard and Hope plumbing!!

We have had plumbers from Johnson replace shut off valves and do a yearly inspection. They were very professional job, very concerned with the quality of their work, and very patient with any questions we had. I would highly recommend them.

I would highly recommend Summer's for any plumbing repairs. Jason came to my home when my water heater was in need of replacement. He replaced the unit quickly and efficiently. He was extremely professional and more than willing to answer any and all questions I had. Super nice guy; I would definitely call him again for help!

I called this company out to inspect the line as to why I was having issues with my toilet gurgling. Two plumbers came out, one supervisor and one apprentice. They found that the trap pipe to the sewer outlet from the house was not glued down and one of the bushes near the the pipe had put it's root system into it. They cleared some of the roots, and some broke off and went toward the sewer. They ran a snake for both sides and thought the line looked clear, and I paid $159.00 for the drain clearing and to fix the pipe. Which is a fair price I think. They then called out a camera person to come and inspect the line. Everything up to this point was acceptable.
The camera technician came out and inspected the line. It appeared that the roots that broke off from the bush had stopped just short of the sewer line. Water was accumulating behind this blockage and water was slowly draining. She stated this was a belly or sagging in the pipe and that it would need to be dug up to correct the issue. She also stated that Hydro Jetting the blockage may fix the issue ($1,400.00 charge), but due to the sagging in the pipe it would to be dug up. She was able to quote me how much I would pay a month for 15 years, but was unable to tell me exactly how much the job would be while I was standing there. When I received the quote it was approximately $10k (which is fair for the work that she wanted to do). I told her I was going to get a second opinion, and she proceeded to explain to me that everyone else will say the same thing and it would cost the same. She made no attempt to try and get the blockage cleared by her company. I called two companies after she left and scheduled them for the next day.
The next day I had a different company come out and cleared the line for $93 with a snake without difficulties. They inspected the line and found no sagging, belly or standing water in the pipe. The other company also inspected the pipe and found no sagging or belly.
This company's has reached back out to me and it was to talk about the quote i was given. When I expressed to them I had the issue taken care of for $93 dollars they had a customer service rep reach out to me. The customer service rep was very polite and understanding of why I was frustrated with the company. They also stated that the issue would be resolved within through additional education. Which I feel is the correct approach. Unfortunately, from my personal experience, I am unlikely to use these services again.
*Short Version*
If you have time get a second opinion. It could save you thousands of dollars. Attempting to get me to sign up for $10k worth of work when it only required a $93 dollars to clear the line is a little unethical. Also, I found out that the camera techs are not always plumbers and they do not always have plumbing experience. They work in sales, and it sounds like this is becoming an industry standard. Not really a problem as long as the camera tech is honest, but this can become problematic quickly.
