Best Water Heater Repair in Houston TX

I was having problems with both hot water tanks in my house.  Both of the Gas control valves needed to be replaced.  Wedgeworth Plumbing came out to the rescue!  They were on-time and very professional.  They charge $99 service fee but if they do the work they will waive the service fee.  They are very reasonable and straight forward.  They will not give you the run around or over charge you.  

It took the technician an hour to fix and I had hot water within 10 minutes!  Totally saved my Thanksgiving holiday.  I totally recommend this company, and will call them for future needs.

We had to get a toilet replaced and Right Choice plumbing was responsive and flexible with scheduling. While they were here, they were able to spot a leak and was able to fix that as well. Can't say enough about these guys, friendly, knowledgeable and great service overall.

Plumbco has done a great job for our family. Gary and his crew are friendly, fair, and go out of their way to make sure your plumbing problems are handled. We have had Plumbco replace some of our under house pipe and re-pipe our water delivery system with PEX pipe. Both jobs were excellent and we are very happy customers.

Excellent service! I highly recommend Acacias Plumbing. Called them and they offered to be there the following morning (my issue was not an emergency). My schedule did not work for that so they came out the next day. The plumber who arrived was very knowledgeable and was happy to explain everything to me. He did not push any unnecessary fixes or upcharge me. He took his time to make sure my leak was fixed before packing up and leaving. I am so happy I have found a plumber that I trust!

Hugo really wowed me. He did 3 jobs for me today, one fairly complicated. The results surprised and delighted me--and he charged less than I expected. I would DEFINITELY use him again.

Manuel and Hunter were out to see me today for the hot water in my shower not staying hot for too long. Right off the bat they were extremely courteous and pleasant. I let them know what the issue was and they went to work. After testing the shower for about 15-20 minutes the hot water was running just fine. One of those fluke things to where something was wrong for months and then all of a sudden it's miraculously fixed on its own. The great thing about Plumb away Plumbing is that they are extremely honest. The guys let me know that they didn't have to change the cartridge like they like they thought and said that all was good. Obviously I stood there in shock because I unable to maintain hot water for 5 minutes and now all of a sudden we're all standing in a foggy steamy bathroom that's been running for 15 minutes! I guess these guys really have the Magic Touch! They called Robert the owner and he said no charge for the day since there was nothing for them to fix and since they were in the neighborhood on another call previously. Another service would have charged me for the trip out and probably would have charged me for some other things just to make extra money off an unsuspecting person. It's really hard to find an honest and trustworthy service to help with your home's needs. What a blessing that plumbing way Plumbing offers not only extraordinary service but extraordinary service people who enjoy their job and helping their clients. Alex is polite, respectful, responsive, knowledgeable, neat and thorough. He exceeded my expectations all around.

I had an internal a/c piping to dual sink connection that clogged, made worse by a builder H/A workaround. Just a bit beyond my experience to solve quickly or easily. He came within 30-45 minutes from our first conversation, changed both under sink p traps, added an attic clean out point and had things going again in under a couple hours. He then explained everything and made further suggestions to prevent future issues. His cost was not unreasonable at all. Now on my go to list.

The galvanized pipes leading out of the wall, fittings, and supply lines to my water heater was heavily corroded and had a slow leak too.  Called Texas Best Plumbing and they showed up the next day.  Chris gave me a great price and had the work done in about an hour.  Excellent work done in a very timely manner and at a great price too!  I highly recommend Texas Best Plumbing for your plumbing needs.  Like their name says, Texas Best.

This was an emergency call, we had a room that we used for storage, no one had entered this room in a month and upon entering we discovered a ceiling leak!  I called City and Beyond Handyman at 7:00 pm and he arrived at 8:45 pm.  He was so professional and knowledgeable and instantly identified our problem and corrected the situation!!! He received a 5 star rating from our family!!!

Extremely disappointed with the communication and professionalism from the owner Nathan. I had Texas plumbing come do a remodel project for my house, moved drains and gas pipes. His men did the work, they were great until I started having issues with the city inspection and a gas leak that seemed to be inconvenient for the owner. I called and texted the owner about the gas leak, but he never reached back out to me. I ended up having to pay someone else to fix his work and was left without hot water for two weeks!!!! I would not hire this company again due to the lack of communication, and complete egocentric attitude he has. I was so sad to find the gas leak when in fact this was his job to check after moving gas lines. communicating with the owner on this project, he was demeaning, over talked me and down right awful. If you hire this company as a woman be prepared to be ignored, not spoken to properly and over talked. Don't use them.

We didn't call you to fix anything. You were contacted for an estimate and given all the details of the need prior to and again, upon arrival. As for the irritation, clearly you're misinformed. My problem only arose when your technician was more interested in being nosy & wanting details - which was irrelevant, instead of just offering up the estimate you were to there to provide. Irregardless, you're right - EPW is unable to provide me with such services, but not by your choice - by mine. Thanks for your reply!****

$480 quote from pictures sent; 30-minute service - main water valve repair. I had to call to schedule an appointment (even after using their chat feature). Guys walked up stating $480 repair without actually looking at the valve.
Also had to call to get a receipt 5 days later. The receipt had no breakdown of parts/services. Just quantity of 1 - $480
Work van said Senior and Vet Discounts... nothing listed on website.
I will shop around next time... my advice is you should do the same.

We are so appreciative of a company dedicated to good, kind service even early in the morning AND on a Holiday! The appt scheduler was so kind, she was easy to talk to and got us an appt within an hour of the call! We received an email with a picture of the technician, Austin and knew who to expect at our door. Austin was super kind, professional and talked my husband through all the steps he was taking for our repair.

We are very fortunate to have such a quality plumbing company in the Clear Lake area.  Our family has utilized the Alliance Plumbing services for years and have been very pleased and would highly recommend them.  Agustine is amazing, very patient with our older home, and thorough in explaining what is needed and how it will be done. He goes out of his way and provides exceptional service. This is a family owned business and they care about providing quality service and are always quick to arrive and fair in pricing.  They also offer a service program providing discounts that are very helpful and very nice and careful with our rescue dogs.

Cast iron sewer collapsing. Asked Epic for an estimate. They came out and looked but said they would need $500 to do a full estimate running cameras and plotting plan. I agreed only if they would provide videos and map of rerouting plan. They would apply the $500 to bill if we chose them. Turns out their estimate was double the estimate of company we chose. That company did a free estimate. They did spend several hours investigating and did share videos and plan. But I got the same from another company and still saved thousands. They wet up front about the charge but still Feeling ripped off.

After my home warranty company called 5 plumbers in a Friday at 5 pm, I called GAP plumbing and they came out with in an hour. They were honest and reasonable and I'm thrilled to have found them. Plumbing issues can be very stressful and I will trust Gap plumbing with all of my future issues and recommend them to anyone. Thanks Glenn and Jeff!!!  I will forever appreciate your kindness.

They contract with homserve. I tell them the stem is leaking and when I turn the kitchen faucet and bathtub faucet to hot water the pressure drops drastically. I walked Josue over to the bathroom and turned the faucet on in the tub. The stem leaked and when I turned it all the way to hot the pressure dropped. He says it's the interior plumbing that needs to be replaced because Houston has hard water and all of the minerals (which he started naming like magnesium and phosphorus) mixing with the hot water causes scaling. I have interior coverage with home serve and it is covered (scaling over time can cause a complete blockage)
per home serves interior coverage copied straight from their contract if you put in 77029 as the area code.

Like I said I turn the tub faucet on along with the bathroom sink on so he can see the dramatic difference. He says that the interior plumbing needs to be replaced. A lot of older homes have galvanized pipes and over time scaling happens. Josue says let me go out to my van and speak with homserve to try and get it covered.  Home serve calls me and says that the valve is a fixture, and it isn't covered. I'm like huh (the girl with home serve is named Nika and she had a very bad attitude) I said we didn't talk about him replacing the valve. I said the stem was leaking and he said the interior pipes needs to be replaced. She then states that he didn't say anything about the interior pipes. Josue is still sitting in his van. At this point I have an extra device and I am recording this entire conversation because I knew it was going to be some BS and if you are wondering Texas has a one-party law and I consented to being recorded, look it up!

I asked him did he tell her about the interior plumbing needing to be replaced. He said yeah I mentioned it but like I told you home serve won't cover it because you still have pretty good pressure. the only time I have seen them cover it is when there was a complete blockage. then Nika says that there has to be below 30psi in two or more fixtures open in order for it to be considered low water pressure. She said that my water pressure is measuring 50 psi with two or more fixtures open and that's why home serve is not covering.  I asked her how she knew it was 50 psi when he never gauged the water. I had to go outside an ask him to gauge the water.

I kid you not I am being told two different things from Josue who has totally changed his story and Nika the idiot with a bad attitude.   He never checks the pressure in my home. I tell him to come back inside and check the pressure. he says ok ill come back in and check the pressure. He never comes back in. I start recording him sitting in his freakin van. I go back outside cause home serve tries to call me again. I answer it but don't hear anything then they hang up and don't try to call again. Like I said I am recording. I go ask him what is he doing because he never came back in the house, and he never gauged the water pressure. he says yes, I did I have the pictures. I said show me. he placed a gauge on the outside valve infront of my home and says that it is registering 60 psi. When I checked my audio recording Nika said my psi was registering 50 now Josue says its 60.  I asked him why he didn't gauge the pressure in my actual home on one of the fixtures because that's what Nika said.

There is a character limit on this, but I have Nika and Josue on recording. Very unprofessional, bad business on home serve and Texas Quality Plumbing. This business can contact me if they want to listen to the audio. Josue didn't check any of the fixtures in the house. I turned the water on in the shower and the bathroom faucet. that's as far as his inspection went. I called homeserve to let them know they are sending out another plumber.  i dont think I can attach the audio but I would if I could. I took video of him sitting in his van which what he basically got paid to do but not sure if i can post that either

A/C Repair.  Second time dealing with this firm.  Always charging ripoff prices.  Wanted $18k to replace indoor and outdoor units.  Called second company.  $415 replacement fan for outdoor unit.  Total ripoff Ababcus.  Those people on high commissions.
