Best Pipe Repair in Houston TX

I was in need of a replacement toilet so I checked Yelp for some suggestions on a good plumber to do the job. I was impressed by the positive comments about Wedgeworth Plumbing so I filled out the Yelp form to request a quote.  (Note: If you want to get a quote, don't bother with the Yelp form. Just pick up the phone and call them directly! All the Yelp form does is add a delay in response time!)

Within a couple of days I had a plumber (and his apprentice) at my home to check out what I needed. They gave me a reasonable price estimate and let me know there might be additional cost if the flange under the toilet needed repair or replacement.  Because their quoted price was reasonable I decided to go ahead with them for the work.

They were able to schedule the work quickly and the plumber came back, new toilet in hand, and did a quality job! The flange was in good shape so I avoided the extra expense I had been warned about.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the work Wedgeworth did for me, and I'll be calling them again the next time I need a plumber.

We had to get a toilet replaced and Right Choice plumbing was responsive and flexible with scheduling. While they were here, they were able to spot a leak and was able to fix that as well. Can't say enough about these guys, friendly, knowledgeable and great service overall.

I contacted Drain Care Sewer and Hydrojet for drainage issues at my home. John came and found that my pipes were clogged and I also had a leaking water heater. He provided me with detailed information and pricing. His service is impeccable and prices are very reasonable. Although this company specializes in drains/sewers, he fixed my plumbing issue. Thank you so much for the excellent service that was provided. This company went above and beyond the call of duty. Renovating my old townhouse, I've had my share of plumbing issues, and encountered more than my share of expensive, incompetent plumbers. But I really like doing business with this company!

Gary and his crew are skilled at what they do. And I think their competence allows them to do good work quickly, so they don't have to charge an arm and a leg.
I've hired them to repair existing plumbing, and to install fixtures and appliances, and I always felt the pricing was fair.
Response time is as good as it gets, especially for emergencies.

Hector was very professional and knowledgeable. We had a cracked pipe after the last freeze and Amazon Home Warranty dragged the repair for about 10 days. Finally I started to use Yelp and was fortunate that Hector responded to my quote request. He showed up on time as promised and fixed a difficult repair in about 2 hours. He priced the job before start and the price was fair given the circumstances. He came on time. Completed the job and cleaned up nicely. He also is to connect me with another contractor to repair the drywall.
I would recommend him to anyone.

Kim and team did a great job unclogging my plumbing issue.
I made a request early in the morning and he replied back within 15min. and was at my house within 1.5hrs.
They did a thorough job validating where the clog was and fixed it, this clog was about 50ft from the toilet. You needed a professional to get to it. He also advised me on how to avoid clogs as well. Only toilet paper, no wipes or female hygiene down the toilet.

I can't believe I just found this company. I have been trying to work with several plumbing companies on multiple houses and am so fed up with with the lack of service and skill that I have received. But today, this company blew me away. The owner answers the phone himself, talks through your issue with you, gives you an estimate before the workers arrive to your house, SAME DAY service for no extra charge and the workers themselves (shout out to Manuel!!!!) are professional, FAST and leave your house cleaner than when they arrived. I have already scheduled my next appointment with them to look into larger projects. Do yourself a favor and don't muddle through all the companies that I had to. *****

They were my life savers this past Saturday! Clogged my Kitchen sink (put too much in garbage disposal ); lucky for me they gave me a 2hour wait time; Alex kept me in the loop in regard to arrival time, which is AWESOME! I was recently informed that it appeared I had a leak in the exterior water line. The city sent a crew out and informed me there was a leak between house and meter. After checking several leads I contacted Texas Best. They were very professional and courteous. They asked some questions and they could come by in a couple of hours. I telephoned around 3 o'clock. They arrived in less than an hour and looked the scene. My yard was so full of water you wold think a storm and come in and not run off. They offered 2 options and told me one way more expensive because they could not see any bubbling to pinpoint the leak. The second option less expensive was to run a new line from meter to house. This should last several years. They can put the next morning a round 8. By 1030 they were thru. They even did a good job of cleanup. The exposed ground will have grass full in very quickly.
The crew was very polite and very hard working. I would use them again with no problem. I would recommend them with out reservation.

Needed these folks to snake a couple of drains that were slow-draining. They responded quickly with a quote, showed up on time for the appointment, were courteous and neat, and did the work quickly. Would definitely hire again.

Family owned company,  not pushy with an amazing response.  Pricing is great and they provide a full service and follow up.  It's nice to see a local company with great customer service.

I have a house in Galveston that needed some plumbing work. Actually it turned out to be quite extensive and required a professional.

Jesse from alliance came to help out. He was very professional and timely. Also this guy did not give up! Jesse worked on my project until very late in the evening.

I was extremely impressed by his commitment to resolving my plumbing issue and providing quality work. This guy has a strong work ethic and it was apparent within the first few minutes.

He had to return the next day to complete some of the work but he called ahead and he showed up on time. I think that's a pretty big deal in Galveston because most plumbing services I have used here operate on island time and I found that to mean they may or may not show up at all or they may demand payment upfront and not come back or they may even be intoxicate on the job.

However,Alliance was prompt, professional and completely reliable. I trust this company and I will use them again.

I will share that they are not cheap, In fact I would say they may be on the highest end of cost per hour. However,  my job was completed to my complete satisfaction and I didn't have to deal with island timers. This may not have been a discount job, however, you get what you pay for and I feel I got a very good value here.

Also, my place was left in pristine condition when Jesse left my house and again this work was extensive. Also, the office called me the next day to check in on my experience... all aces with this professional crew!

I debated about whether to write a review because I don't want these guys to become so popular that I can't book them in the future.  But then I thought about how hard it was to find a decent plumber so I thought I should put my selfishness aside and help everyone out.  Quick, responsive and honest.  They provided a quote, honored it and did the job right and in a cost effective manner.  Discount for new customers at the time.  I think they may give Yelp folks a discount too (not sure).  I gave them 5 stars which I rarely do, and hope they can stay like they are and continue to provide this level of service.

I had a slow draining sink for months before it finally completely clogged. I reached out to several plumbing companies and TQP were the first ones to get back with me and had the lowest estimate. They came and fixed the problem right away! Jake was great and so nice- he made sure to ask if he could check anything else while he was here. My family owns several houses and we are never able to find a good company to work with when issues arise, so I'm really glad I found them!

These guys are very dishonest. I called them out to simply tape two 8 ducts back together that had come apart in the attic. I was out of town when they came out to the house. My pregnant wife was home alone and concerned the AC might go out. The service member tried to charge her $750 for the duct work, then tried to sell her a $35 capacitor for $450. My wife didn't know the extent of the work that needed to be done. She called me when he gave her the quote of $1200 and I asked to speak to technician for clarification. He was clearly taken aback when I asked specific questions. I asked what materials and labor time is needed to tape the duct back together. He knew the gig was up. He tried to use fancy words for duct tape and zip ties. The capacitor was fine, just slightly low capacitance. I replaced it in 15 minutes for $35. I ended up zip tying and taping the duct back together in 30 minutes. Please avoid these guys.
