Remember. Mike is my plumber as I stated from my original review.

I have call for his service 4 times since 2014

2015: I  had gas line installed on my property. I live in a neighborhood where there is no natural gas.  So I had to go the propane route.  Mike did the permit to city and constructed gas piping in accordance to the city and Hawaii gas specification.

Now I have a gas stove and gas water reheater. Im very please and a price you can't beat

2016:  I had a new HUGE tub installed in my house. It's like 2 1/2 feet deep. I so wanted a ofuro tub.  I had HUGE vanity sink and HUGE HUGE walk in shower steam room also installed.   I call Mike for services again. I needed him to do all the plumbing for those 3 features  I didn't want the contractor to do it because I only want Mike to do the plumbing.  The reason being is that he redid my entire piping in my house when I first I bought the house and I wanted him to do any new additional plumbing because I trust him plus I had some tile work still pending and Mike said he will finish up after I finish up the tile work. Great person and Outstanding plumber   Just FYI.  I still haven't done the tile work yet. Ugh!

2017: i called Mike again because I noticed that my common bathroom started to smell ripe.  He told me that the previous contractor  (this is before I met Mike) didn't install a toilet vent   Mike never touch those pipes before because that part of the house was unlivable at that time.  When I renovated a contractor did those pipes.  Now u know why I just want Mike to do my plumbing.   Never again I will let a contractor do my plumbing.

2017:  I bought a dishwasher. Just in case if I ever decide to rent my house.  I'm old school. Hand wash dishes and drip dry.  I just use the dishwasher for Tupperware storage.   Again I had to call Mike to do the plumbing for the dishwasher.  Man of his word finish the job in 3 hours.

Again this company great and very competitive pricing.  Thanks again.

Oh yeah as for the tile job. I still haven't done it yet.  I apologize to Mike and he said no worries just let me know when the tile job complete

Hold onto your phones as this is going to be a LONG REVIEW! I held off on reviewing Pipe Master until the repairs was completed.

So I had a leaking hot water sub meter in my condo ceiling on Friday September 6th, I had called 3 other companies suggested to me by the inhouse maintenance staff before calling Pipe Masters. All 3 companies suggested to me I had ended up leaving a message so after no luck with them I tried calling pipe masters and they answered my call! I was greeted by Arvin who was very professional and polite  and after explaining my situation we had made an appointment for Monday the 9th which was their earliest date. After getting off the phone with Arvin I was given updates via text about my appointment date/time and who my technician would be coming to assess my problem. On the day of my initial assessment Arvin had called me earlier in the day to see if I wanted to push my appointment to an earlier time as my technician was available to check my condo out ahead of schedule, I kept my appointed time of 10am but I was very pleased that they had given me a call for the option to do things ahead of schedule. Anyways my technician George arrived on time was super friendly when greeting us and assessed my problem in no time but unfortunately was not able to do the repairs same day as the parts was not a normal stocked item, having done the assessment George had called me later that day having located the part which had to be special ordered. Having briefly ran through the cost of the repairs I him the OK to do so, I was later called by Arvin about 10 minutes after getting off the phone with George just to verify we gave the OK  for him on ordering the parts as well as giving us the final cost for the repairs and ETA on parts arrival.

Fast forward to Friday the 13th I was given a call again from Arvin mid day letting me know that the part had came in as expected, he was kind enough to let me know that they would be able to squeeze me in for repairs later that afternoon but was not able to do so since I was stuck at work... (show how great their customer service is in giving me options!) We ended up making an appointment for Monday the 16th from 2-4pm and again I received text notifications my of my appointment time/date. Once again I was kindly notified via text that George would be arrive around 3pm and sure enough he was on time, having arrived on time he greeted me at the door and wasted no time replacing the meter. Every so often he would call me over to show me the old part versus the new part just to touch bases with me as far as the repairs went. Once the repairs was done he waited for 20 minutes just to make sure that there was no longer any leaks once the hot water main valve was opened and pressure was present in the line, after giving it the once over he gave us the OK that everything was back up and running! Yay hot water! George then broke down the warranty period and filled us in on any questions we had for him and just like that made me and the wife a happy NEW customer of Pipe Masters! The team at pipe masters from Arvin to George has made us feel confident in recommending them as well as using them for any future repairs! Highly satisfied customer!

*Disclaimer* I don't know the going rate for plumbing repairs all I know is that it can get expensive! but seeing that they was the only one to answer their phones from day 1 of my dilemma my business goes to PIPE MASTERS! The other 3 companies I had left messages had finally called me back mid week but pipe masters had already assessed the issue, and when you have a water leak time is of the essence! Granted my leak wasn't too bad yet and pipe master was there first they got my business, and even if the other 3 companies had gotten back to me I was not willing to potentially pay another fee for them to assess and quote me on the repairs. The early bird gets the worm!

BEWARE!! SHAKA PLUMBING scammed us out of $250. They came out to give us an estimate and (OVER)charged us $250 to change the knob in our shower. The repair was scheduled for the next morning. The next morning came SHAKA Plumbing came out and told us they cannot do the repair because they would have to make to many modifications to complete it. So we decided to try to fix it ourselves, we went out and bought the part for $11 and my mom installed it under a minute. We are currently still waiting for our refund from them but every time we call no one answers. We also contacted the CONTRACTORS OF HAWAII and they told us that SHAKA Plumbing isn't even licensed any more, their license is EXPIRED! And, the funny thing is they emailed my mom the invoice and told her we hope you're satisfied with our service. Really, are you kidding me? Their service is just HORRIBLE!! Think twice before you call them for an so called FREE estimate.

I had a plumbing emergency and I could not use my shower or toilet.  IMUA Plumbing to the Rescue!  This guy is a hard working professional that put in the time (despite his busy day) so I could get my bathroom up and running the same day.  Kelii came and went above and beyond the call of duty. He responds to his calls quickly and as I was telling him the problem over the phone, he was able to diagnosis the problem and knew exactly what had to be done.  He also contacted my resident manager told him the problem & got authorization to do all necessary repairs.  I called late morning and my early afternoon, my problem was fixed.  His customer service is outstanding!  He kept me up to date when he would arrive, he explained step by step what he was doing & he's a very honest/respectable guy.  For any plumbing needs I highly recommend Imua Plumbing!

I first found JBC on the Best of list of the Honolulu star advertiser. Then I googled them and all their reviews were excellent. I like that their website stated their license # and BBB accreditation. I called them with 2 problems. They came the next day and arrived 1/2 hr early. They diagnosed both problems quickly by just looking at the problems. They quickly went to work and did a great job and finished in under an hour. The technicians were Ryan Sr and Ryan Jr. I had a leak under my kitchen sink and they left it looking clean and new. I would call JBC again.

Shayne was very fast to respond to my request. He came out on a Friday evening and helped snake a clogged drain. Affordable prices and quick to respond! Thanks Shayne!!

This review is based on the companies interaction not work performed. I reached out to this company to try and get my houses plumbing replaced top to bottom. What I got was an average daily cost which was not too bad it helped but it was labor only no info on how much parts were and when I asked how long the job would take they said they didnt know they would need to see the house. Fair enough however thats where it ends no follow up on when they had time to see my house. Was hoping for better customer service. Please see added photos of the conversation. I am just a homeowner who is trying to get work done. Im not saying this company does bad work at all as I have never had work performed by them but to be called out like this is uncalled for. I leave up to the people looking for work to be done to decide what they wish to do.

7/21/23 Whit did reach out to me and came by to give me an estimate on work done. I do appreciate the follow up after my original review. He was understanding and willing to help work with me and take a look at how his company could service the extensive plumbing problem I have despite the original hiccup we had at the start. While I am still looking to get work done I will be considering his company for repairs.

The guy that came out was actually from Shaka Plumbing. He fixed a leak and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. Would recommend.

Had a minor scare when I saw water leaking from my water heater. JBC Plumbing was the first company I contacted and was not disappointed. Their courteous professionals arrived quickly, assessed the situation, and answered all of my questions. They stayed until I was fully informed of what the issue was, what my options were, and what maintenance and costs would be involved should I elect to have components replaced. I know nothing of plumbing was felt confident I had made the right decision to call these guys. I'd highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

I live in a building almost as old as me. Like me, parts of my unit are wearing out and malfunctioning. That was the story with the tub faucet. The original equipment was about 60 years old and the hot water went from a drip to a constant stream, with the heat creating stains and mold.

I asked the office who did a lot of work at our complex and the said Pono at MG Plumbing. It didn't take too long to get an appointment. The shower head was a mess too, so I asked Pono about a new shower head with a hose, which would make it easier for me. He said I could buy one, or he would. I asked him to get one for me. I have a mobility disability, so it's hard for me to shop in person. I looked at many options online, but ultimately I figured he would know best how to proceed.

He was on time and selected a moderately priced Kohler shower head. It attaches via a magnet, making it easier for me to detach and reattach. That's helpful for me not just because of the disability but also because I'm so short.

He finished the work quickly and even put up the new plastic liner and just-washed fabric curtain. Just taking down the nasty dirty moldy plastic liner and the fabric curtain which desperately needing washing was quite a struggle for me, so I was very grateful when he did the work for me when I asked.

He also prepared me for what would eventually come after this, once this fix wore out. (Let's just say I'd better start saving lots of money.)

Once the hot water stream was fixed, I was able to scrub the tub and bleach the mold away in bits and pieces over a couple of weeks, as my body allowed. Now the tub looks pretty darned good. Hopefully I look that good, too, as we both continue to age.

Lucky is great plumber. He has helped my family on multiple occasions and does quality work! Don't hesitate to give him your business.

The tech was excellent but make sure you get a quote in writing, i was quoted $140 for one toilet bit while the tech was here i had him look at a couple of other things, he texted his boss a couple of times and a little hesitation about whether i would get the extra work done, we agreed on $250 and this was stated clearly.  I only had enough cash for the original quote so after the job was done, i paid $140 in cash and offered to either go with the tech to the atm to get the remaining balance of $110 or put it on my card.  We both confirmed clear as day that the remaining balance was $110.  He said his boss would send me an invoice.  About a week later, i get an invoice for $135, i asked his boss to talk to the tech because that was not the agreed on price but of course he says that's what the notes say.  I didn't agree on that price so how can i be overcharged.

These guys saved me after an outside pipe broke at my house.

The first plumber I called (Banzai Plumbing) never showed for the appt. - and never called to let me know. I lost over half a day (and a hot shower) waiting for them.

Called Accurate the next AM, and they promised to be there by noon. Instead the plumber came several hours earlier and took care of my situation quickly and affordably.

Accurate will be my first call next time!.

Johnny's service is impeccable. I highly recommend his services.  We had a leaking toilet. He was able to fix it in no time along with explaining the problem to us. He is also very clean and efficient.

Had a clogged kitchen sink and I didn't even use the sink because we just got home from having dinner for my wife's birthday. Come to find that my drain shares a pipe with my neighbor, so the shared pipe backed up, which in turn pushed water up my drain whenever they used their sink. I called everyone who was listed as 24/7 plumbers, but none had availability last night. In the morning, I called 535 because I have used them a few times, but they didn't have availability until Sunday.

As I scrolled through Yelp, I came across Quality Plumbing and saw the address was my address! This plumber lives in my building. I took this as a major plus because he has got to be familiar with the building. He was very nice upon taking my call and scheduled a range between 12:15 - 2:15pm. He arrive at the tail end of the time range and wasted no time. He showed his knowledge of the building by doing all the work in the hallway access point. I cleared my kitchen sink cabinet anticipating that would be where all the work would be done.

He showed me the pipe and what was built up, kitchen grease.. replaced the original 45 year old cast iron pipe with PVC. Assured no leaks by having me and my neighbor run our water, and he was done in about an hour. Very friendly, easy to work with, and reasonable rates. I will use them from now on for all my plumbing needs!

This is my first ever yelp review!  First of all I was very impressed at how quickly I received a call back from Shane on a Sunday to schedule with 535 Plumbing.  We scheduled for today between 10am-12pm, his crew arrived just before 10am!! So impressive right from the start!  Mitch & Troy were the right guys for the job, we had a clogged bathroom sink and they got us squared away.  Very professional, polite and efficient!  We'll be calling 535 Plumbing for our plumbing needs!! Thank you Shane and crew!

I am so happy that I went with these guys to do my bathroom! I had 8 different companies come look at my bathroom and all of them were way too overpriced and quoted me 2 weeks to finish! Glad I decided on this company. Alex, the owner gave me the best price and said he could finish my bathroom in a few days. His workers were very professional and fast. They even cleaned up after the bathroom was done! I will be using them for sure for my next home renovation!

Got a decent quote from Jay.  Said he could be out between 7:30-8:00pm.  Great!  Asked for pics of my pipes, which I sent, then never heard from him again.  No, I can't make it tonight.  No Can I reschedule?  Just silence.  I even tried calling and he wouldn't answer the phone.  I could've spent that time finding a more reliable plumber.
