We requested a quote for an outbuilding and were placed on the list.  After waiting 2 weeks, our salespersons reviewed the building and wrote up their recommendations.  The quote would be coming within 3-5 business days and to contact the office to inquire.  I did and each time was told I would receive a call back in 15 minutes as they were about to discuss my quote.  This went on for 3 days. I chose to not contact the company again, but to wait for a response.  The response did come at Business day 5, at the end of the working hours.  Very frustrating experience, which led us to look elsewhere.  When we chose our electrician, we were extremely impressed with their integrity - they called us back when they stated they would.

Ours need wasn't urgent, but nevertheless important to us. They had a booked schedule but managed to work us in. We are glad we waited. Professional, efficient, and competent! Our now go-to electric company for sure!

I've used Streeter electric before - to add outlets in my garage. They are always quick to respond and fairly  priced. But, I recently had Kevin come replace several old ceiling fans with more up-to-date fixtures, and it was as if I had completely remodeled. I am thrilled! Thanks.

horrible service; worker is a thief; stole valuable things out of my home; took advantage of an elderly person; felt violated and basically ransacked my home while i was there; found things left open and missing in places he was working; owner did not care to discuss this had happened and ignored everything i said.  i would not recomment this place because they are dishonest and stand behind their workers not their customers.  they are for the money for sure and once they are paid they don't care.  too bad for me.  i dispise dishonest people and theives.  i had to change out all my bank accounts and credit cards.  he took valuable things out of my glass cases and by mistake left it open and took valuables out of my closet; he was putting a shelf in.   things were moved around and jewelry was also missing in my jewelry box, empty spaces.   it was very evident and christina the owner did not care at all to do anything.  cold hearted people here.

It took two weeks to get an appointment but it was worth the wait. We were given a 90 minute window in which to expect our electrician. David called in advance to let us know his arrival time. He showed up promptly. The job was to install overhead lights on a new dock. H had already started and had very specific ideas how he wanted it done, but it was a two man job so he couldn't finish without help. David jumped right in to do the risky parts and got it done in just a couple hours. The cost was fair and reasonable. I would call Streeter again without hesitation if I needed electrical work.

I have no experience with electricians and had no clue who to call when the line from the meter to our home was visibly corroded and smelled like fire- was referred Streeter and we could not be happier. My husband works long hours in the medical field and is also a student, he was not home at the time but was able to contact Streeter and they had Rodney scheduled to show up in a couple of hours. He was very courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He answered questions, took time to explain any details and made our first experience very pleasant. We are very happy with this company! We've used them several times for different issues and they never disappoint! We just bought an home from the 70's which had wiring that was so out of date it wouldn't work with our new double oven and range. The home also had multiple electrical boxes where previous owners had amateur skills in constantly adding on piecemeal. It required very intensive rewiring across 2 days. Rodney is AWESOME and his team were great to work with! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, explained everything and answered all our questions. They installed a brand new breaker box to consolidate everything in one location and eliminate the nightmare we were dealing with. I no longer have anxiety over a possible electrical fire and finally can have peace of mind and feel safe in our home. There is still more to do during our renovations and we will put our trust into this company again for those future jobs! Kevin was also great to work with! Would definitely recommend them!

This was a big and complicated job.   My house was built in the 1980's by a contractor that cut a lot of corners.   We weren't sure what to expect, and, of course, everything that could have been wrong with my electrical was wrong.   However, Streeter Electric fixed everything, brought it all up to code, and made my home safe.    Also, they ran electricity to two out-buildings.  Their employees were very experienced and qualified, not to mention kind, friendly, and sweet.   They did run into a few unexpected issues along the way, but remedied everything in a timely manner.   They tried to make sure I had power as much as possible during the three day process.   I couldn't recommend them more highly.   Thank you for such hard work on such a challenging job.   You guys rock!
