Best Electricians in Texas

I'm late posting this but they came out in October to help do the electrical side of my hot tub installation. The guys were all very nice and hardworking. When we did the estimate they came out and we decided on trenching to get to wire from the panel to the hot tub site. They came and did a great job and when we ran into the issue of the panel being maxed out with no space to add the hot tub breaker to, they ran another wire from my hot water tank to the main panel  in the garage. They didn't even end up charging me for the extra work they had to do and I very much appreciate that from them. Because of their excellent workmanship and generosity to put in extra work and not bill me for it, they have my business as long as I live in San Antonio. I'm sure the extra work they did was work another 700-1000 bucks and they did it free of charge to me.

I needed help getting a new home we purchased wired for internet and I can say this company was fantastic. I reached out through the Yelp app and they responded the same day. The appointment was made and Henry and Edward arrived on time, went to work to get us a quote for all of our needs. The quite was done on Monday and the job was started on Wednesday. These two were so kind and patient and this company is honest and reliable. I would highly recommend them for all of your electrical needs. The service is top match! Thank you for all your help.

We had damage to our external electrical power panel and we got Tony's to work with Austin Energy to disconnect the City's power line. They also removed the meter. Tony created a new roof mount for the power line, installed a panel, checked all of the wiring in the house, coordinated with the City to bring a new meter and install the power line. He as we did not have the City bring the electrical power on for several days provided us with a gasoline powered electrical generator. Through the several days here or not Tony was always ready for us. I have dealt with many repair and maintenance companies over the 50 years I have lived in Austin and Tony ranks as my Number One in ability and timeliness!

Aaron showed up at the agreed upon time and did the work for the agreed upon amount.... great attitude and will definitely use him again. Highly recommend Aaron... don't think twice about it. He isn't pushing reviews or gaming the system, this is honest feedback.

I called for service on Monday after we found out that our dryer wasn't working due to an electrical problem. We set up service for Wednesday. The technician called about 15 minutes prior to arriving (and was early). He promptly got to work and told me the problem was a breaker issue. He fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. I would and will definitely call them again for any future needs.

I just wanted to echo my original review. I had an electric emergency this evening where it was unsafe to keep the power turned on.  I called Live Oak Electric and spoke to Andy, the owner.  He took the call even though he was visiting family in San Antonio.  He walked me through the options and said he would check to see if his brother Aaron would be available to come out today.

Aaron not only called immediately,  he also said that given our situation he would come out this evening.  Aaron was able to resolve our problem quickly, restored power, removed the danger and kept our home safe.

I would highly recommend Live Oak Electric,  they are honest, the are compassionate,  and they are excellent electricians..

Horrible prices, I swear they quote you on ridiculous amounts and assure you we won't find anybody else lower. If you think that's bad there service is the real killers, you'd almost assume they are joking with how bad there work really is. I don't even wanna go into the phone conversation, You tell them what you need done, this guy says and I quote What does that have to do with me You think he might be joking with that too but he is dead serious, I had to back to talk to some one who wasn't good just a little less disrespectful, Do not, I repeat do not waste your time with them, your only paying for high priced asses who do jobs a 7 year old with some sheers could have actually done better, I'm serious about that too.

Very rude lady answers the phone.  Lost my business.  Unbelievable that someone who sells services would be like that. Good luck!

Electrical work is good - so far. Do not have them do any other work. We had them paint our banister and railing and it is chipping less than a week later. Paint on ceiling is already chipping. If you like paint on light fixtures, cabinets and flooring this is the person for you. Please do not have them put up curtain rods or repair brackets in the closet. Everything was off center and uneven. Not sure a measuring tape was used. Constructive criticism is not welcomed by him. Drywall work performed is already failing just weeks after repairs. Cracks are coming back. Please beware of substandard work.

These people installed panels on my neighbor's roof, about 25 feet from my windows. Now, at the hottest time of the day, at the hottest time of the year, I get glare from the panels directly into my windows. It makes my room unusable for 2.5 hours in the summer, and then I have to let it cool out afterwards. The owner of the company insisted we use a window tint to solve the problem. Not only did it not stop the glare, it just made the room darker. I now have to use the overhead lamps to light the room (making the room hotter, and wasting more energy). I contacted the owner about relocating the panels and removing the tint. He agreed to help me, and call me back with a solution. Instead, he sent us the bill for the window tint he made us get, and now won't return my calls, nor did he ever call me back.
Avoid at all costs, and tell your neighbors to avoid as well.

In the chance that he actually does relocate the panels like he said he would, I'll take down this review.

Worst customer service! I had an appointment for a service call. They said they would be at my place sometime in the afternoon. they never showed and when I called to ask about what time they were going to show up they said that they could be at my place first ting in the morning.10 am and no service technician so I call and turns out that they had an emergency call and would not be able to come until the afternoon.4:30 rolls along and they still haven't shown up or even answered my phone calls or texts. when I finally get a hold of him he said that he was stuck at the damn oil field. This place is so unprofessional I would never recommend this place to anyone!!!
