Joe Vela Electric is the GO TO electrical company in the Frío County area.

I decided to do some do it yourself and find myself popping some breakers and such.

I reached out to Mr. Vela and his team for help and they responded in less than an hour himself.

A quick inspection and he quickly found and resolved the issue.

We had Cross Texas Electric come out and run all the electric for a new spa. Ronnie Jones was awesome!! He made sure that everything was done right and ensured everything installed in a way that kept our puppies safe!! Spa works like a charm! He even took time out of his schedule to answer the MANY miscellaneous questions I had.  Definitely plan to use this company again!

To have Eric, the owner of the business, visit us today was great. He fixed my bathroom light fixture. He even put in his own LED lights and explained to us how to save money on them. I liked how he spent time with us explaining what he did and took the time talking to us. I will definitely call on him again! It's nice to see someone take the time to talk to his customers the way Eric did! Good job Eric!

There are very few business cards that receive a permanent home in my wallet, Chadwick with Elite Electric is one of them.

Andrew showed up on time and provided me an honest and accurate assessment of the time (and cost) that would go into our project. We needed two pendant lights hung, one patio light replaced, and 4 carriage lights to be replaced as well (this required a little bit of chisel work on the sides of the house to make everything look right).

Normally, my wife and I are so detail oriented that we would just tackle these jobs on our own for fear that someone wouldn't do it to our level of satisfaction. I have no buyer's remorse in this situation. Not only was the work done on time, and on budget, but it was also done with the little aesthetic details in mind.

I was very pleased with the work done by Chadwick and his team, and I will be using them and referring them for years to come.

My house had a possible lighting strike . Bottom line two outlets stopped working . I searched yelp found Stephen and called him he was here in 12 minutes !! He checked everything thoroughly and fixed the problem and will be returning to do a few other things next week . He was polite , respectful and knowledgeable . His price was fair also . Greg did a wonderful job and was a pleasure having him and his assistant in our home. He installed two ceiling fans and diagnosed a problem with the third ceiling fan. He installed a dimmer switch that allows us to operate the ceiling fan speed and light from the wall. He rewired and hung our chandelier. He diagnosed some electrical problems that we were unaware of and corrected them. He was extremely knowledgable, personable, and professional. He explained everything clearly before he began working and after the installations were completed. He worked quickly and cleanly and his pricing was fair and true to his quote. His communication was great; he returned all phone calls and texts quickly. We were extremely satisfied and pleased with his work. We highly recommend Georgetown Electric... the BEST!!!

We had two separate issues involving our oven/stove and outlets in another room. Larry and his son Logan were here within 15 minutes (or less) after the call and quickly diagnosed the two separate problems. They fixed both issues quickly and the price was very reasonable. They are friendly, professional and know what they are doing. Highly recommended.

Fantastic and professional - everyone should use Puckett Electric. They have installed fixtures and new outlets throughout my aging home. I've hired them before to install large kitchen appliances (stovetop and double ovens) they are always quick and courteous. I will have them back to repair more aging electrical issues!

James Adams and his crew are seriously the best. My husband and I are first time homeowners that bought a horror house (so many expensive problems, you have no idea), so we have been around many experts trying to help us get this house decent. James is by far our favorite and the biggest help. Extremely knowledgeable, honest, willing to swim up in our disgusting attic to get to the weirdest placed wires, has helped our understanding of basic electrical stuff, and helped us come up with a solid game plan on how to tackle all the electrical work in financially-friendly stages, starting with the biggest fire hazards first. Our house's electrical has been no walk in the park and downright scary at times, and James and his crew always complete the jobs and then some. We always feel a lot more hope and relief with this horror house being less horrific after James helps us out. Highly highly recommend.

Tayler was professional and responsive. He did a great job installing the Tesla wall charger quickly and efficiently. I have other house projects that need an electrician, so I'll be sure to contact them again. I would prefer a more predictable scheduling system so I can plan my other appointments around it for an even more efficient experience, but I am satisfied with the work and fees. These guys did a great job running Cat-6 ethernet line from the port, up to the attic, and down the wall to a bedroom outlet.  Quick response time, good price, and they even organized the jumble of wires in the electronic closet leaving it better than before.  We would definitely use them again.

Responsive; were able to come out quickly and help. Knowledgeable on the issue and what equipment will work best. Broken breaker that connected/turned on my AC/heat- $69 for consult, $168 for servicing, $119 to replace some items that caused the issue

This company is sneaky, greedy and unprofessional - especially Larry and Joe. They are just not good people or right in the head. I would not even recommend them to my worst enemy. There are better, more reliable companies to seek out.

I placed a query on HomeAdvisor for an electrician to take take care of some lighting I would need installed on the exterior of my home.  One of the companies that called me was Electrician For Hire.  John was the guy's name.  He called me at 8 on a Saturday evening and we talked about the project that I needed done.  10-15 minutes later, John said he would have a guy out to the house the latest they can on Friday at 4pm in order to take a look and come up with a quote.  He said they stop work at 4:30.  No problem.

Fast forward to Friday.  At 4:10pm no one had shown up so I called John to ask about his technician.  He said they weren't supposed to be there until 5pm tonight.  He said it was in his notes.  However, in the Saturday discussion he told me his guys don't work past 4:30 and he asked me if his guy could be at the house at 4.  I was good with 4 because I was leaving town at 5.  I let it go for the moment as he said he would get someone out to the house now.  His technician calls and says he'll be happy to come out tomorrow (Saturday) in order to look over the project and deliver a quote.  I explained to the technician that this was outside the terms of agreement from John.  I told the technician to disregard and that I would contact John to cancel.

I sent a text message to John stating that I was disenchanted with the fact that his technician didn't even know about it until moments earlier, which means I was forgotten about, anyway.  I let him know that I will be looking for a new and more reliable electrician to handle my project.  John's response:  You Go Girl.  When I called to accost him of the disrespect, he stated, Look, I am making light of the situation.  Don't be weird about it.

Can John do the work? I don't know.  He can talk the talk, though, and make you feel like he's got your project covered.  Myself, I do not give my business to those who lie, forget, change times, or flat out disrespect.

My suggestion to those needing an electrician in my area, find a more reputable one.  Leave the kids out of your home projects.
