I wanted electricity run out from my electric box  to a shed on the other side of my property. I got several bids; the Cross Texas's bid landed right in the middle. I chose Cross Texas because Ronnie, the owner, seemed knowledgeable and honest and his price was very reasonable especially considering that the guys who came in a bit lower didn't strike me as professionals. Well, I am very pleased with my choice. Cross Texas got the job done fast and professionally. Ronnie took care to involve me in the process to make sure he completed the job as I wanted it. There were no surprises and communication before and during the job was excellent. I would recommend Cross Texas Electric without any reservations.

To have Eric, the owner of the business, visit us today was great. He fixed my bathroom light fixture. He even put in his own LED lights and explained to us how to save money on them. I liked how he spent time with us explaining what he did and took the time talking to us. I will definitely call on him again! It's nice to see someone take the time to talk to his customers the way Eric did! Good job Eric!

My house had a possible lighting strike . Bottom line two outlets stopped working . I searched yelp found Stephen and called him he was here in 12 minutes !! He checked everything thoroughly and fixed the problem and will be returning to do a few other things next week . He was polite , respectful and knowledgeable . His price was fair also . He seems very honest and knows his stuff . If you need help he's your man

Just wanted to take a second to say how much I appreciate Greg at Georgetown Electric. Our house is 18 years old and the fluorescent lights in the kitchen stopped working consistently. I reached out on a Sunday to get estimates and he was quick with the quote, not pushy, or trying to quote us more than we needed; he just quoted what we asked for and the price was perfect. Tuesday morning texted the number he left and I was able to be scheduled same day, he even texted to let me know he was on the way and how far out he was.  Install was a snap, price was exactly what he quoted (labor and parts btw provided up front) not the song and dance about this many hours yadda yadda , nope easy and straightforward. Greg gave me a receipt and was gone. Efficient, quality work, fast, what more can anyone ask for? Knocked that appointment out on my lunch break and our kitchen is bright again. Larry was very quick with getting back to me and got me a quote in no time. I chose them for my project and they did a phenomenal job!! I had them run wiring for ceiling fans in our condo and they did an amazing job! Showed up on time and had three rooms done in about 4.5 hours! I will definitely call them again if I need anything done.

I requested a quote for services through Yelp and Todd replied very promptly to discuss the electrical issues. We booked an appointment for the next day, which Todd arrived promptly (even early!) for. This was especially nice since the electrician we'd booked for the previous day no-showed their appointment.

Todd fixed our garbage disposal switch and switch plate (which had broken off), ensured it was in working order, and even asked if there was anything else that needed to be looked at. We had an outlet that never had power and he fixed that too! He was quick, affordable, and dependable.

We will be booking him for some bigger electrical repairs that he kindly surveyed with me at my appointment. Definitely recommend Puckett Electric!

Excellent service & honest practices! They helped us navigate through the arduous process of replacing our entire electrical panel & our GFCI outlet. I plan to use them in the future for sure!

Called Dave about a maddening intermittent electrical problem where parts of the house would lose power for varying amounts of time.  Dave came over late in the day and found it was an arcing lug in the outdoor subpanel.  He tightened the lug and didn't even bill me.  Which was a smart move on his part, because now me, my house and my four SFR rental properties have a go-to electrician!!  :)

Tayler made his way out to my house during this past freeze, and redid 10 electrical outlets as well as moving over a breaker that kept flipping off my entire house.

He did great work, and I have him scheduled to come out and upgrade my entire breaker box in the next few weeks.

I had an electric outlet issue and when I called MD Electric and spoke to Mike he troubleshot the issue over the phone and fixed it in few minutes. This is simply 5-star service!

Bought a new 75 TV today on a whim and were eager to get it mounted. Contacted multiple TV mounters in Dallas but Hang Pros was the only company that was willing to come out last minute on a Saturday night to squeeze us in. The representative that came out was extremely professional and did a fantastic job. Really went above and beyond to make sure that our TV looked perfect in relation to our room and our furniture. This company is sneaky, greedy and unprofessional - especially Larry and Joe. They are just not good people or right in the head. I would not even recommend them to my worst enemy. There are better, more reliable companies to seek out.

I placed a query on HomeAdvisor for an electrician to take take care of some lighting I would need installed on the exterior of my home.  One of the companies that called me was Electrician For Hire.  John was the guy's name.  He called me at 8 on a Saturday evening and we talked about the project that I needed done.  10-15 minutes later, John said he would have a guy out to the house the latest they can on Friday at 4pm in order to take a look and come up with a quote.  He said they stop work at 4:30.  No problem.

Fast forward to Friday.  At 4:10pm no one had shown up so I called John to ask about his technician.  He said they weren't supposed to be there until 5pm tonight.  He said it was in his notes.  However, in the Saturday discussion he told me his guys don't work past 4:30 and he asked me if his guy could be at the house at 4.  I was good with 4 because I was leaving town at 5.  I let it go for the moment as he said he would get someone out to the house now.  His technician calls and says he'll be happy to come out tomorrow (Saturday) in order to look over the project and deliver a quote.  I explained to the technician that this was outside the terms of agreement from John.  I told the technician to disregard and that I would contact John to cancel.

I sent a text message to John stating that I was disenchanted with the fact that his technician didn't even know about it until moments earlier, which means I was forgotten about, anyway.  I let him know that I will be looking for a new and more reliable electrician to handle my project.  John's response:  You Go Girl.  When I called to accost him of the disrespect, he stated, Look, I am making light of the situation.  Don't be weird about it.

Can John do the work? I don't know.  He can talk the talk, though, and make you feel like he's got your project covered.  Myself, I do not give my business to those who lie, forget, change times, or flat out disrespect.

My suggestion to those needing an electrician in my area, find a more reputable one.  Leave the kids out of your home projects.
