Andrew showed up on time and provided me an honest and accurate assessment of the time (and cost) that would go into our project. We needed two pendant lights hung, one patio light replaced, and 4 carriage lights to be replaced as well (this required a little bit of chisel work on the sides of the house to make everything look right).

Normally, my wife and I are so detail oriented that we would just tackle these jobs on our own for fear that someone wouldn't do it to our level of satisfaction. I have no buyer's remorse in this situation. Not only was the work done on time, and on budget, but it was also done with the little aesthetic details in mind.

We are a townhome community in Cedar Park. We needed to install a new stone address sign at our entry way. We contracted with Greg yo move the lighting fixture used to highlight the address sign at night closer to the road.
Greg and his assistant arrived on time and moved the lighting fixture and address sign as requested.
We decided that we needed to move the sign and lighting still closer to the road. Greg, once again, arrived on time, moved the lighting and sign as we had asked.

Excellent work! Very thorough and knowledgeable. We needed an outlet for our garage door opener installed. Our house is over 50 years old and the electrical wiring can be very touchy. All in one knew exactly what to do to get it done safely and right. The price was fair. We are looking forward to working with them again. (They were COVID safe with masks and distancing.)

We've used ABR several times over the past several years, and every single time they are prompt, reasonably priced and provide amazing quality and customer service.  They did a beautiful job installing recessed can lighting in our family room and living room (with particular attention to getting the spacing and placement absolutely perfect!).  We've used them for other repairs around the house, including replacing dimmers and outlets that weren't working, fixing an issue that was causing problems with our pool equipment, and other minor repairs.  They've come out on short notice to help when needed, and are always friendly, helpful and terrific to work with. Tayler was professional and responsive. He did a great job installing the Tesla wall charger quickly and efficiently. I have other house projects that need an electrician, so I'll be sure to contact them again. I would prefer a more predictable scheduling system so I can plan my other appointments around it for an even more efficient experience, but I am satisfied with the work and fees. I've hired a number of electricians in the past-- and I have never met a guy more honest, reasonable and passionate. I had a number of problems with an investment property we recently bought and Mike explained thoroughly what he had planned to do and was extremely reasonable. I also had to install a GFCI outlet and Mike walked me through the whole process and even offered to give me free guidance. I took him up on the offer and he was very quick to respond!

The Hang Pros (Quame) was very response to my changing plans, a sound bar delay. Eventually got Quame in to mount two TV's, a 75 with sound bar and a 55 outside on brick. I supplied the mounts and assisted Quame with the lifts. He was very detailed to get the TV's in the best spot and level - I like them mounted low. He took his time to do the job right and cleaned up after himself. Couldn't ask for more.

My experience was the best service experience I may have ever had. From the first call to schedule the work to work complete, top notch. Jose, Trey and Russell conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism. I had an old panel removed, a new panel installed, several code required upgrades completed due to the new panel installation, all old switches and outlets removed and replaced, removed old fans/light fixtures as well as many new lights wired and installed. They were, professional, kind, focused, informative, and fast. They did excellent work. There was great communication from the team. I knew I was in great hands. Very impressed. This company is sneaky, greedy and unprofessional - especially Larry and Joe. They are just not good people or right in the head. I would not even recommend them to my worst enemy. There are better, more reliable companies to seek out.

I placed a query on HomeAdvisor for an electrician to take take care of some lighting I would need installed on the exterior of my home.  One of the companies that called me was Electrician For Hire.  John was the guy's name.  He called me at 8 on a Saturday evening and we talked about the project that I needed done.  10-15 minutes later, John said he would have a guy out to the house the latest they can on Friday at 4pm in order to take a look and come up with a quote.  He said they stop work at 4:30.  No problem.

Fast forward to Friday.  At 4:10pm no one had shown up so I called John to ask about his technician.  He said they weren't supposed to be there until 5pm tonight.  He said it was in his notes.  However, in the Saturday discussion he told me his guys don't work past 4:30 and he asked me if his guy could be at the house at 4.  I was good with 4 because I was leaving town at 5.  I let it go for the moment as he said he would get someone out to the house now.  His technician calls and says he'll be happy to come out tomorrow (Saturday) in order to look over the project and deliver a quote.  I explained to the technician that this was outside the terms of agreement from John.  I told the technician to disregard and that I would contact John to cancel.

I sent a text message to John stating that I was disenchanted with the fact that his technician didn't even know about it until moments earlier, which means I was forgotten about, anyway.  I let him know that I will be looking for a new and more reliable electrician to handle my project.  John's response:  You Go Girl.  When I called to accost him of the disrespect, he stated, Look, I am making light of the situation.  Don't be weird about it.

Can John do the work? I don't know.  He can talk the talk, though, and make you feel like he's got your project covered.  Myself, I do not give my business to those who lie, forget, change times, or flat out disrespect.

My suggestion to those needing an electrician in my area, find a more reputable one.  Leave the kids out of your home projects.
