Joe Vela Electric is the GO TO electrical company in the Frío County area.

I decided to do some do it yourself and find myself popping some breakers and such.

I reached out to Mr. Vela and his team for help and they responded in less than an hour himself.

A quick inspection and he quickly found and resolved the issue.  

The problem was fixed in a matter of minutes and the price was more than reasonable.

We had Cross Texas Electric come out and run all the electric for a new spa. Ronnie Jones was awesome!! He made sure that everything was done right and ensured everything installed in a way that kept our puppies safe!! Spa works like a charm! He even took time out of his schedule to answer the MANY miscellaneous questions I had.  Definitely plan to use this company again!

To have Eric, the owner of the business, visit us today was great. He fixed my bathroom light fixture. He even put in his own LED lights and explained to us how to save money on them. I liked how he spent time with us explaining what he did and took the time talking to us. I will definitely call on him again! It's nice to see someone take the time to talk to his customers the way Eric did! Good job Eric!

I called Elite Electric in a pinch (electricity was flickering on and off intermittenly). Chadwick promptly answered his phone and referred me to his colleague, Andrew. Andrew called me back within 1 minutes to schedule the appointment to come by the house and examine the issue. Andrew was literally at my house within five minutes of hanging up the phone. He quickly assesed the issue, went and got the parts needed to fix the problem (blown breakers), and fixed the issue. This all happened in about an hour of my initial call to Elite Electric!

The one thing I was slightly shocked about was the $110 charged on the bill  to come by the house (I also had to pay for parts and labor - those were reasonably priced). Make sure to ask how much the service call is going to be before the electrician comes by  your house.

Horrible service!! I contacted SFX Electric to come give me an estimate on repairing some broken fixtures and some faulty receptacles. The appointment was made and I confirmed the appointment. We live 3 hours away and drove up to our new home to meet the electrician. He was confirmed and gave me an arrival time of 12. I received an email, around 12, saying he cancelled my appointment. This email came after I confirmed thru a previous email.  I called to find out what was happening and spoke to Steve, the owner. After telling Steve that we drove three hours to meet him and it was a little upsetting that he would cancel a confirmed appointment, even after I confirmed it. instead of attempting to make things right he got a huge attitude with me and began arguing with me about what constitutes an estimate vs a bid. All I wanted was for someone to come look at my issues and help me figure how to get it fixed. This was apparently too much for Steve. He put more effort into arguing with me than he did trying to help. I don't have a lot of patience for excuses for crappy service and this must have upset Steve because he hung up on me. So we drove three hours for nothing. Thanks Steve. However, probably better because he probably is not the right electrician anyway. His attitude, his need to be right, his crappy customer service, and his habit of making excuses are not traits I look for in a service company. I recommend avoiding this guy and finding some one who can actually get the job done.

I needed a light installed with motion detection as well as a few other things. Super polite and exceptional service. 10/10! I highly recommend!

Greg is the consummate professional.  He utilized excellent communication in all phases leading up to and during the work we requested.  He arrived on time and wasted no time in knocking out the two projects we had.  One was an indoor installation and the other was an outside electrical repair that incurred due to the heavy rains from a few weeks back. Greg explained what he did and why and tested it prior to leaving. I would highly recommend Greg for your services as he is open, trustworthy and skilled in his trade.  We were very pleased with his workmanship and will use him again as we have projects.  His rates were competitive and I'm so happy to have met him and selected the correct contractor for the job!

Larry and Logan have been to my house twice.  The first was when we bought the house and needed some electrical work done that was recommended by the home inspector.  The second time was yesterday when they installed my Tesla wall connector in the car port that is attached to our house.  They do a fantastic job and are a pleasure to work with.  Super laid back, professional, great communication, and highly knowledgeable, they suit up, show up, and do exactly what they promise to do exactly when they say they are going to do it.  I won't go anywhere else.  5 stars.

I am so glad I called these guys! They were very professional, nice, on time (actually early!!), and had told me they could hang my light in an hour;however, it took longer than expected but they only charged me the hour price. I would 100% call them again for anything electrical.

One of my project this year is to upgrade our Microwave/Oven combo which is installed in our kitchen walll cabinet. Since this is an upgrade the wall wiring will need to be upgraded together with the 30 amp circuit breaker bumped up to 40 amp. I found ABR Electric on Yelp and sent in my request quote and got my answer the next day, Nastia sent an email and scheduled Nathan to come over to inspect if the wiring will really need to be change which it did. Nathan & Nastia respond quickly and they're both nice and professional to answer all my questions. William & Bill the installerwe're both nice, fast and professional and they sure did an awesome job.

I will recommend ABR Electric to my friends and family and will surely hire them again with my next project.

I can't say enough great things about Electrician on Call.  First, my appt was scheduled between 1-3.  They contacted me at 10:40 and said they had finished the job before mine early and they could arrive earlier if I was available.  They arrived at 11:15, on arrival they were wearing masks and foot covers.  Second, they are veteran owned and operated.  Thirdly, David was very professional, personable and courteous.  David identified the problem quickly, switched out a circuit breaker and took the time to reassure me there were no other issues to be concerned about.  I would definitely use Electrician on Call again and I would highly recommend them for your electrical needs.

Michael returned my call immediately, set up same day service, completed several repairs and was very reasonable. I liked him so much I lined up future work. Donald the other guy was efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.

I recently moved into my new place and needed someone reasonably priced to install TV's. The guy was able to come in and do amazing work on 2 TV's. He even hid the wires behind the wall to make it presentable. I didn't even know that was possible. He also informed me he does other work such as artwork, curtains, and home theater installation. I have some more projects coming up in the future and will definitely reach out to him again. Highly recommended.

The biggest thing I appreciate about W3 is that it didn't snub its nose at my very small job (malfunctioning doorbell); four other electrical companies refused to make the trip because it wasn't a big enough job (not sure why that matters if a customer is willing to pay the service fee anyway to obtain peace of mind from a professional). Turns out our transformer blew and needed replacing, which affected other outlets as well...not so small after all. My technician Jordan was on time, efficient, and professional, even calling beforehand to give me a heads up on his ETA. He was knowledgeable about required services and W3's packages to better aid me in making informed decisions about our house/what to prioritize. As a result we signed up for a membersship and will turn to W3 for our electrical needs from now on.

I placed a query on HomeAdvisor for an electrician to take take care of some lighting I would need installed on the exterior of my home.  One of the companies that called me was Electrician For Hire.  John was the guy's name.  He called me at 8 on a Saturday evening and we talked about the project that I needed done.  10-15 minutes later, John said he would have a guy out to the house the latest they can on Friday at 4pm in order to take a look and come up with a quote.  He said they stop work at 4:30.  No problem.

Fast forward to Friday.  At 4:10pm no one had shown up so I called John to ask about his technician.  He said they weren't supposed to be there until 5pm tonight.  He said it was in his notes.  However, in the Saturday discussion he told me his guys don't work past 4:30 and he asked me if his guy could be at the house at 4.  I was good with 4 because I was leaving town at 5.  I let it go for the moment as he said he would get someone out to the house now.  His technician calls and says he'll be happy to come out tomorrow (Saturday) in order to look over the project and deliver a quote.  I explained to the technician that this was outside the terms of agreement from John.  I told the technician to disregard and that I would contact John to cancel.

I sent a text message to John stating that I was disenchanted with the fact that his technician didn't even know about it until moments earlier, which means I was forgotten about, anyway.  I let him know that I will be looking for a new and more reliable electrician to handle my project.  John's response:  You Go Girl.  When I called to accost him of the disrespect, he stated, Look, I am making light of the situation.  Don't be weird about it.

Can John do the work? I don't know.  He can talk the talk, though, and make you feel like he's got your project covered.  Myself, I do not give my business to those who lie, forget, change times, or flat out disrespect.

My suggestion to those needing an electrician in my area, find a more reputable one.  Leave the kids out of your home projects.
