Joe Vela Electric is the GO TO electrical company in the Frío County area.

I decided to do some do it yourself and find myself popping some breakers and such.

I reached out to Mr. Vela and his team for help and they responded in less than an hour himself.

A quick inspection and he quickly found and resolved the issue.

I saw the good reviews of Elite Electric on Yelp and I had the same outstanding experience with this company.  The work was excellent at a reasonable price and was done in a very timely manner.  During the course of the work, Chadwick (the owner) found that one of our front light fixtures had shorted out.  He returned the very next day (a Saturday) to install the new fixtures once we had a chance to purchase them.  I was completely confident that everything he did was done at the very highest level of quality.  I would recommend this company to anyone and will call them if I ever need electrical work again.

Larry was out the morning as planned for a mini-split disconnect and a few items with my panel - they knocked it out in no time!  He charged exactly what he quoted as well (a better price then I was quoted by a few other companies).  

Despite COVID, he was able to find a few difficult parts to get as well.  He was very professional and they wore masks.  I won't hesitate to contact him for any electric work in the future (and neither should you)!

I'll give a similar review as Gary M.  When we found out our electricity wasn't working in some areas of the house, I called Puckett.  Sure enough, he talked me through it and determined the issue and corrective answer over the phone!  We were having a partial power outage; and that my power people should be contacted (I had never heard of partial power before).  So, Oncor came by and had it fixed the same day!  Thank you for letting me know what was happening to us!

We worked with ABR on a recent job for install a Tesla home charger. They were great to work with and professional in every way. They went above and beyond to do the job. They delivered quality work and we are very happy with the results. We really wanted to work with an installer that was certified and knowledgeable with our specific unit. We would hire ABR again and are grateful we were able to have our job completed with them.

This is my first yelp review, but I've used yelp for years, reading restaurant reviews when traveling.

I had electrical problems that needed to be fixed, and could not get in touch with an electrician I've used for years. Not sure who to call I looked at yelp reviews and read the reviews for Electrician on Call. I called David Jones, the owner, in the late morning and described my problem. He said he's have an electrician at my house in the late afternoon within a one hour window and he gave me a price for the parts and service.

At the agreed time, David showed up because he said the electrician he was going to send was hung up on a job. David came in and fixed my problem and also dealt with an extraneous problem that needed to be fixed that I was unaware of when I called him.

David Jones, the owner of Electrician on Call, was very professional, showed up on time, fixed my problem for the price he'd quoted on the phone, and he's a nice guy.

Highly recommended.

Michael responded quickly for my request for a quote and communicated effectively on what I needed to do to prep the area he would be working in prior to his arrival. He arrived when promised and was professional, friendly and protective of my house (outer booties, drop cloths, etc.), went right to work and finished quickly. His price quote was honored - no extras added and there was no attempt to upsell, as I've experienced before with other home servicers. Great guy, great service and very reasonable price. Bought a new 75 TV today on a whim and were eager to get it mounted. Contacted multiple TV mounters in Dallas but Hang Pros was the only company that was willing to come out last minute on a Saturday night to squeeze us in. The representative that came out was extremely professional and did a fantastic job. Really went above and beyond to make sure that our TV looked perfect in relation to our room and our furniture. W3 did a great job installing my Ring Camera and ceiling fan. the tech was professional and knew what he was doing. The work areas were cleaned up and old lights were removed and disposed of.

This company is sneaky, greedy and unprofessional - especially Larry and Joe. They are just not good people or right in the head. I would not even recommend them to my worst enemy. There are better, more reliable companies to seek out.

I placed a query on HomeAdvisor for an electrician to take take care of some lighting I would need installed on the exterior of my home.  One of the companies that called me was Electrician For Hire.  John was the guy's name.  He called me at 8 on a Saturday evening and we talked about the project that I needed done.  10-15 minutes later, John said he would have a guy out to the house the latest they can on Friday at 4pm in order to take a look and come up with a quote.  He said they stop work at 4:30.  No problem.

Fast forward to Friday.  At 4:10pm no one had shown up so I called John to ask about his technician.  He said they weren't supposed to be there until 5pm tonight.  He said it was in his notes.  However, in the Saturday discussion he told me his guys don't work past 4:30 and he asked me if his guy could be at the house at 4.  I was good with 4 because I was leaving town at 5.  I let it go for the moment as he said he would get someone out to the house now.  His technician calls and says he'll be happy to come out tomorrow (Saturday) in order to look over the project and deliver a quote.  I explained to the technician that this was outside the terms of agreement from John.  I told the technician to disregard and that I would contact John to cancel.

I sent a text message to John stating that I was disenchanted with the fact that his technician didn't even know about it until moments earlier, which means I was forgotten about, anyway.  I let him know that I will be looking for a new and more reliable electrician to handle my project.  John's response:  You Go Girl.  When I called to accost him of the disrespect, he stated, Look, I am making light of the situation.  Don't be weird about it.

Can John do the work? I don't know.  He can talk the talk, though, and make you feel like he's got your project covered.  Myself, I do not give my business to those who lie, forget, change times, or flat out disrespect.

My suggestion to those needing an electrician in my area, find a more reputable one.  Leave the kids out of your home projects.
