Joe Vela Electric is the GO TO electrical company in the Frío County area.

I decided to do some do it yourself and find myself popping some breakers and such.

Had these guys out to look at a annoying gfci outlet that kept tripping. They were great communicating & scheduling the appointment. Ronnie, located the issue within minutes & had it repaired very quickly.
I also had him look at adding another exterior outlet since I needed one in a different location. He actually said he had most of the materials already in his truck & could do it at that time!
I must say he did a great job installing the new exterior outlet in a nice all weather box. Top quality work at a fair price.
I have found myself a new electrician & will recommend him to all my friends & family.

I called Elite this morning and Chadwick was here by lunchtime.  He was thorough, professional and very helpful, explaining the basics of electrical circuits to me so that I could push the GFI button in the garage by myself, next time.   Since I'm afraid to fry myself just by opening the simplest ceiling lights, it was well worth the cost of a service call to have him fix a few things.

Seriously couldn't be happier with their work! Very knowledgeable, quick, and the end result looks great! You won't be disappointed with SFX, I can't recommend someone more than I recommend them. Honest, hard working guys and they'll get it done right!

Day of service Greg and Logan showed up within minutes of estimated time of arrival, only delay was because City of Georgetown had torn up my driveway and they had to cross a busy street with all their equipment.

I've never had any company be so consistent in scheduling. When they say they're going to show up, you can bet your bottom dollar they'll be there!

Greg walked me through everything they were doing as if I was a friend. Showed me exactly what they were doing every step of the way. No stupid question I had went unanswered without an utmost of professionalism on his end. He even asked for my input in the layout of wiring conduit in a utility room, just to make sure it met my approval!

Several other companies looked at my small job as if it was a burden for them to take on, treated me like I wasn't worth it and eventually blew me off. You stepped up and treated me like I meant something, even though my job wasn't anything where you'd make the most buck. I asked for help, you manned up, and did the job beyond my expectations.

Non of my neighbors were able to recommend an electrical contractor so I totally relied on YELP reviews and it worked out great. I called ion a Sunday night and these were the only guys that were staffed to make an appointment for the next morning.
They showed up on time, very professional, fixed the problem within an hour nd the price seemed reasonable; what else is there?

We bought an electric vehicle and I was looking for a reputable company to install a 50Amps breaker and a 14-50 Nema outlet out of it.
Puckett was the best electric company I have ever hired. They asked me a couple of questions about the location and model of the electrical panel and it there was space to add a breaker.
They gave me a quote over the phone and an appointment a couple of days later. Puckett electricians arrived on time and completed the installation in just 20 minutes.

I called and spoke to Nathan due to an electrical problem I was having. He was very helpful and listened to my problem with extreme patience. I previously  had an electrician from a different company  come out, not only did he not fix the problem he created more problems! Jason came out and was extremely efficient in fixing the issue and correcting the  work done by the previous electrician. I requested a quote online on a Sunday when the shop was closed  and Dave immediately emailed me  letting me know what I needed and that he could show up the next day promptly. David was more than professional when he showed up and did the job perfect. I had inquired about services from others who gave me ridiculously high prices just trying to suck money out of me while Dave explained that I did not need a whole panel replacement just a breaker and to tighten some other ones the saved me a lot of money. I would highly recommend you give these guys a call as they do excellent work and I will surely use them again.

Tayler was professional and responsive. He did a great job installing the Tesla wall charger quickly and efficiently. I have other house projects that need an electrician, so I'll be sure to contact them again. I would prefer a more predictable scheduling system so I can plan my other appointments around it for an even more efficient experience, but I am satisfied with the work and fees. Quick reply for the requested service and quote was on par with others. They were on time and did a great job on my project.  Highly recommend.

The biggest thing I appreciate about W3 is that it didn't snub its nose at my very small job (malfunctioning doorbell); four other electrical companies refused to make the trip because it wasn't a big enough job (not sure why that matters if a customer is willing to pay the service fee anyway to obtain peace of mind from a professional). Turns out our transformer blew and needed replacing, which affected other outlets as well...not so small after all. My technician Jordan was on time, efficient, and professional, even calling beforehand to give me a heads up on his ETA. He was knowledgeable about required services and W3's packages to better aid me in making informed decisions about our house/what to prioritize. As a result we signed up for a membersship and will turn to W3 for our electrical needs from now on.

I placed a query on HomeAdvisor for an electrician to take take care of some lighting I would need installed on the exterior of my home.  One of the companies that called me was Electrician For Hire.  John was the guy's name.  He called me at 8 on a Saturday evening and we talked about the project that I needed done.  10-15 minutes later, John said he would have a guy out to the house the latest they can on Friday at 4pm in order to take a look and come up with a quote.  He said they stop work at 4:30.  No problem.

Fast forward to Friday.  At 4:10pm no one had shown up so I called John to ask about his technician.  He said they weren't supposed to be there until 5pm tonight.  He said it was in his notes.  However, in the Saturday discussion he told me his guys don't work past 4:30 and he asked me if his guy could be at the house at 4.  I was good with 4 because I was leaving town at 5.  I let it go for the moment as he said he would get someone out to the house now.  His technician calls and says he'll be happy to come out tomorrow (Saturday) in order to look over the project and deliver a quote.  I explained to the technician that this was outside the terms of agreement from John.  I told the technician to disregard and that I would contact John to cancel.

I sent a text message to John stating that I was disenchanted with the fact that his technician didn't even know about it until moments earlier, which means I was forgotten about, anyway.  I let him know that I will be looking for a new and more reliable electrician to handle my project.  John's response:  You Go Girl.  When I called to accost him of the disrespect, he stated, Look, I am making light of the situation.  Don't be weird about it.

Can John do the work? I don't know.  He can talk the talk, though, and make you feel like he's got your project covered.  Myself, I do not give my business to those who lie, forget, change times, or flat out disrespect.

My suggestion to those needing an electrician in my area, find a more reputable one.  Leave the kids out of your home projects.
