I wouldn't normally give a 5-star review to an electrical company, but they were so easy to deal with, friendly, quick to come out to my house, and good at what they did, I feel the positive review is in order.  I also felt that the price was reasonable, relative to electrical work I've had done before in Dallas as well as San Antonio.

I am so happy to have found McDavitt Electric and Master Electrician, Clayton! I found him online and took a chance because he was within 5 miles of my house. He replied to my email within the hour, and made a same-day appointment with me. I had a long list of electrical jobs to be done, but one was a top priority. Clayton had it done that day, and I will have him back to work on the other jobs next week. He was punctual, friendly, thorough, and did excellent work. My husband and I appreciate the fact that he didn't offer us just one way to complete each job--he gave us several viable options and let us decide how we wanted to have things done. I trust him 100% to complete the work we want done, and look forward to having new outlets installed and new lighting in my kitchen! Call McDavitt--you won't be disappointed!

I had a great experience through out my projects with Justin and his crew. Justin was always responsive, showed up when he said they would, and was open to any changes that I had. This was very refreshing as most contractors I've dealt with have not been responsive and just randomly show up. I highly recommend Justin and his crew to anyone needing electrical work. The crew did great work for me and were a pleasure to work with. I'll definitely use Goat Electric again when I need more electrical work.

Great communication, thorough, great price. Quality effort. Needed several new light replacements throughout my home. They took the time to review and understand the work before giving an estimate.

Scott did a lot of the electrical work in our last home, as well as changing out an amp/wall socket for a new dryer I bought. He works quickly, and is professional. My 1972 house suddenly lost power to the living room lights and an electrical outlet for no apparent reason.  Andrew came out and spent four hours trying to find the problem.  When it wasn't any of the obvious issues it became clear that the job needed more than one person to tackle.  Andrew made sure everything was safe so that accidentally flipping a switch or using other electric on the same circuit would not cause a problem.  He came back with Josh and Jeremy and the three of them were completely awesome, digging through 50 years worth of electric hacks that had created a major safety hazard along with non functioning and poor functioning lights.  They worked so hard, like a team of electric sleuths to find and fix the problem when I know it would have been faster and more lucrative for them to just say I needed to have the whole area re-wired.  
Additionally, all of the guys were clean cut, professional, knowledgeable, and honest.  I will definitely be hiring Firefly Electric for my upcoming major home electric overhaul (which I was already planning, the guys just confirmed my research when I asked them about it, they didn't try to sell me on anything or suggest any upgrades that I did not bring up myself. )
Probably the first business I've worked with since buying my house that impressed me and that I would use again for service!

They did several installations on our house and we're very satisfied with the work and professionalism. They communicate, show up on time, and are skilled electricians.

Their office staff, Patricia and Cindy, do everything possible to accommodate your request for services and billing; and try their utmost to notify you if their is a scheduling problem or they are running behind. Told me I needed a new system on one of my AC's that was cutting out on me.  Replaced my Carrier with an Amana unit.  Never told me that my other one was still under warranty, and knew it.  When I found out, they gave me a partial reimbursement, which I thought was fair.  Started having humidity issues and they came out three times messing with fan speeds, etc.  

We then called a competitor and they diagnosed the problem immediately and fixed it at a low price.  When our second AC started to go out on us, we called the other company and they said all we needed was a new motor.  It was the same exact thing that Champion said we needed to replace the entire unit for.

I gave them 2 stars only because the owner was willing to at least give me a partial refund.

Had another great electrical service experience with Colvin Electric.  Hayward found and replaced faulty outlets and two GFIs, so now all the outlets work.  Thank you Hayward!  I like how the service rep called 20 mins before coming, and I got a text with the service reps picture and qualifications.  I highly recommend Colvin Electric.

Awful. Will not use again. Zero stars. Here's why; 1. He changed the scheduled appointment. 2. He didn't set expectations of cost up front (it's a minimum of 2 hours, costing $170). 3. He didn't have the  parts needed to do the job despite being told what was needed in advance, and even texted a photo of part that was failing - who goes to work without the proper tools? He performed an hour's worth of work, which would have been fine if he had done it right the first time. 4. Incomplete Work: I had to ask Adrian to return to finish the job correctly, specifically to replace a $12 part that should have been done the first time. 5. Attitude: Upon return, he was moody, irritable, and unapologetic having to come back to do what should have been done the first time. He didn't say anything after completing the work, he just drove off. Not professional. Find someone else.
