Best Electricians in Texas
I called Russell's because of all the good reviews. I am certainly glad I did. Thomas arrived on time, was polite and professional. He installed 2 light fixtures in bathrooms and repaired a ceiling fan, all for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Russell's.

Provided feedback and owner responded and essentially dismissed everything I had to say. Here is his message along with my response:
Owner:
I was made aware that you took issue with work that we recently performed for you. It is my understanding that you took issue with the following:
-The motion sensor that was installed for your bedroom lights was meant to be installed for your bathroom lights
-The Nest security camera that we installed for you resulted in a bush in your back yard sustaining some minor damage.
I have spoken with the technician who did the installation and my estimator that priced this work for you. I have also reviewed the invoice. The invoice clearly states that the motion sensor was to be installed in your bedroom and you signed for the completed work. This would indicate that you were satisfied with the installation and the location / function of the motion sensor. Furthermore, the technician says that he advised you not to install the motion sensor in your bedroom. If you would like us to move the motion sensor to another location, that can be done, but at an additional cost.
After speaking with both my estimator and installing technician, we will not compensate you for damage to a bush. Your vegetation in the backyard is overgrown and both of my employees advised you that there may be some minor damage to the vegetation because of where you wanted us to mount the cameras. You indicated that would not be a problem and asked us to proceed. Again, your signature on the invoice and payment would indicate that you were satisfied with the work performed.
My response to above message:
I was NOT informed that there would be damage to my plants (see pics below) and was only informed after-the-fact, once I approached installer in the backyard during installation.
As for the bedroom light, also not correct. I directed the installer to install motion detector device in bathroom. He informed that he couldn't. At that point is when I directed to install in bedroom.
You're right, the signature represents my sign off on work performed. However, it doesn't always characterize the context of the situation. If you choose not to redress, that's fine - I'll simply share my perspective /experience in the appropriate area.
To be clear, the installer was very courteous and professional. However, soft skills doesn't always align with technical competence.
Not a five star service.

Fantastic customer service. Honest and transparent, Noel explained the entire reason as to why our AC system wasn't functioning properly. We so appreciated the honesty and lack of pushy ness and fabrications. We'll be calling again... thank you..!

Steve did a great job wiring a new outlet in my garage for my EV. Great professional service, fair price. Steve knew right away what I wanted, and what was required to do job right. A larger electrical service company quoted twice as much for the same job.

I contacted Malco because our main/overhead kitchen lights went out. Chris arrived within a few hours. He provided great/friendly customer service, completed the job quickly, and even gave me a recommendation on how to remedy my flickering lights on my chandelier. I will definitely call these guys again for all my electrical issues!

I wanted an old (40+ years) chandelier fixture replaced with a contemporary model that I had purchased. It needed to be attached to a high ceiling mount at about 10 feet. I called Kevin about the work and he came promptly the next day. It took about 45 minutes to install and to re-adjust the downrod length to a better position for the fixture position so it wouldn't be too low.
As on a previous electrical job, Kevin did great work for me and was fast. He charges reasonable rates. He is very pleasant fellow also, and so nice to talk to. Highly recommend Pawson Electric.

Hands down the best service I have ever had. Brian called ahead, was super kind and friendly, and he went above and beyond to help me out changing a lightbulb that was too high for my ladder to reach. He was super professional, timely, and made the light that went out in our kitchen even brighter and better than it was before. I will use them again for any electricity related issues in the future and I highly recommend.

I found Juan through yelp and saw that he had a good review, I like to support small business owners so I gave him a call! We had one room upstairs that had lost all its power and we couldn't figure out why. Juan came over and told me that a wire had come lose and fixed it right then. That same day I asked him if he installed recessed lighting, and he said yes. So we set up an appointment for the following week and he came over and installed four new recessed lights upstairs in our TV room. The whole process was quick, clean, affordable, and most importantly friendly! Juan is an exceptional person to work with! We will be calling him again with any electrical needs! 10/10 would recommend him!!

We had an emergency situation today and Max Electrical Services was very responsive and were able to come help us within an hour or so of our first contact. Considering the timing, quality of communication and service, cost was reasonable and well worth it. Max Electrical Services will be my go to company for any future electrical services needs.

I tell everyone how GREAT Dan Hoffman is as an all around handyman! For the past three years he has been there for us as my son as moved around Austin pursuing his college degrees. He is prompt, always friendly, very knowledgeable about what he is building, reasonable and just a joy to work with! He has built a bed, chest of drawers, desk, and bedside table and taken them apart and reassembled then each time my son has moved. Will continue to us his services as long as we are in the area!

He came out and did a few hours worth of work for a good price! Work came out perfect. I got new outlets in my garage which I desperately needed. 10/10 recommend!

We recently had issues with our electrical service. We did not know what was wrong but eventually got so bad we had minimal electric in our house. I called several electricians and none of them were able to arrive for several days. I called Jesse Padilla at KJ Electric and he had someone at my house within an hour. When Roland arrived he did an extensive evaluation of our electrical system. when we purchased a home in 2020 we were told if the entire electrical system had been replaced however Roland found that the exterior panel had not been and was over 35 to 40 years old. They were able to temporarily repair our problems and came back a few days later and completely replaced the exterior panel. The price was extremely reasonable and Roland worked very hard and did a phenomenal job. I highly recommend Jesse Roland and KJ electric for any electrical problems you may have

I had a semi big job for Mike with installing grounded outlets and a new breaker panel. Him and his partner did a great job for a great price. Mike is extremely polite and knowledgeable. He will try and cut costs as much as he can for you. I would highly recommend Mike for all of your electrical needs and I will be using him for any further electrical work moving forward.

I am so so glad that we hired L&R electric. They came and installed three ceiling fans for us upstairs. When they went to install them none of them were up to code. Which isn't shocking because the previous owners of our home were do it themselves types of people and cut corners.
With a new baby on the way having everything up to code was vital to me and I knew that the changes were made safely for our son.
They also installed a generator outlet for us and new panel. This was so important to me because we went five days without water and power last year during the storm, and we will have a newborn during that time. They did an amazing job and the price was perfect. Of course there were some surprises, but they explained everything and were able to work with us on price the best they could. I will be hiring them for projects in the future!

Professional service at a fair and reasonable price. I had an electrical issue at 4pm on a Wednesday afternoon. Other companies wanted six days to respond. I called H&S and they were at my house in a half hour. Diagnosed the issue and fixed it the next day. High quality work, very nice and explained everything. Even let me look over shoulder during every step of repair. Used new top quality parts. I had a great experience, give them a try.

Eddie and his crew came out last week on short notice and took care of installing a metered loop for us. I was super impressed with Eddie's responsiveness to all communication and when he came out to give a free quote and check out the job he was polite and knowledgeable. He has been in the industry for many years (since he was in high school!) and he took the time to give advice to my son about electrician apprenticeship. Eddie and his crew came out and completed the job ahead of schedule and they were super efficient and had great attitudes, even in freezing temps. I highly recommend Marshall Electric for all your electrical needs. Thanks, Eddie!

Johnny,
I don't have any messages on my Yelp account, you've never tried to contact my phone nor have you left a voice message. So I'm not quite sure where you sent the message. I've already had the work done and quite honestly even calling you wouldn't change my mind. I had put this behind me until you wrote your update. Now you've really got me upset. You compare in an analogy how you would approach a sore knee. I get that there are many components to an A/C unit, however I had already diagnosed my problem with another company. I was simply trying to give you the business if your quote came in cheaper or comparable. Here's the kicker. I knew that it was the coils needing to be replaced. Approximately $3000 - $4000 dollars. Yet my unit was 14 years old and I was simply trying to avoid dumping money into a unit that had reached it's life expectancy. No matter what your tech would have told me, I had already decided to get a new unit to avoid future costly repairs. Had this been a 4 year old unit, or a 9 year old unit, I would have more than likely appreciated a second opinion, however when the life expectancy is 13-15 years and I'm in year 14, I just wanted a new unit to save time and hassle with future breakdowns. Do me a favor, and stop trying to play the uninformed customer card. I do my research, I don't jump the gun just get things fixed and I certainly wasn't born yesterday. The bottom line was that you were trying to over extend the customer service, and I can appreciate that, but what ever happened to the customer is always right? If I just wanted a price, why couldn't you just give me the cost? It's my choice, my money, my house and my decision. So now you've got your response and you've heard from me. Take your excuses and reasons for not just simply appeasing me by letting me know what you could do and stop replying to this. You did not get my business and you will not get me to change my review. Based upon other reviews, I'm not the only one. Just be grateful I gave you 2 stars and let it go. Work on your business tactics to perhaps ask more to know why your customer is wanting a quote instead of trying to shove down my throat that you want to make a service call and look at it.
