Lite It Up Electric

I've used Lite It Up Electric for three separate jobs and they are great to work with, communicate very well, show up on time (or a few minutes early), and are extremely honest.  I can't recommend them more highly.

I'm giving three stars because when he was here, he troubleshooted my doorbell problem professionally and in detail (so I would have given 5 stars) BUT it was part of a home warranty call.  NOW, AHS and I have been trying to contact him for weeks to get the diagnosis corrected so American Home Shield can get this taken care of.  No answer to my calls or to AHS.  I'm surprised this has been going on so long.

Steve is great! I've had him come for two separate service calls and every time he exceeded my expectations. Excellent service, friendly and always on time! I wouldn't recommend anyone else!

My home warranty assigned my issue to this company and am so glad they did. Steve contacted me first thing this morning to set up a time, same day. He was able to identify the issue and provide an inexpensive resolution.  I appreciate Steve's professionalism, knowledge, and understanding my concerns. Thank you for a great experience and timely resolution. Will definitely keep you in mind for future work and recommend you to my friends and family.

No issues, had a problem with my breaker, Steven came out and diagnosed the situation with a quick fix. When the issue arose again, he came out and made the additional repair. Appointment time was prompt, received calls and text notifications of him being on his way as well as a tracker to see his location. Awesome way to keep track of when the technician will arrive.

I reached out to Lite it up Electric two times by phone in two days.  I left messages for Steven as instructed and never once did I receive a call back.  I even indicated that I have been a customer in the past and still no return call.  Completely unacceptable service.  So I called a different electrician.
I will never waste my time with this company again.

We had a  bathroom exhaust fan stop working. Lite it Up arrived when they said they would and replaced the motor and vent cover in minutes.  Great work guys. We will be sure to use your services again should we have any further electrical needs.

This business was assigned to do electric panel repairs...they called to setup time 2 days away. I explained that we have been without lights in the dining and stairs since Sunday and would he come early...all he said was to find someone else and slammed the phone down without giving me a chance to speak...would never have this business come to my home...

As an aftermath...
I called American Home Shield to inquire about my appointment. They called this business and were told that they refused service after I posted a review in the above paragraph - I posted the initial review only after the owner cancelled my work order. Steven again rudely slammed the phone down on the rep from AHS. This business is such a joke for this kind of behavior. Was this discrimination, since I am an Asian (Indian). Needless to say AHS has agreed to pursue this further.

Purchased a new home and bought new appliances.  Best Buy was at my home to install the dishwasher, but there was an issue. The dishwasher did not have space behind it to fit the electrical receptacle, so I needed an electrician to mount the receptacle flush against the wall behind the dishwasher.  I contacted Lite It Electric. They arrived within 30 minutes and had the problem taken care of very quickly. The price was reasonable, too. Will definitely use them again. Bryan was awesome!!!

This is a one guy owner ( named Steven)  and no other employee. He was dispatched by my home warranty. He showed up and did absolutely nothing to fix my kitchen lights. We called him several times and even left text message because his main number is a cell phone. Again no answer a week later I called my home warranty company and they got in touch with him and actually connected the call with him. He said he wasn't responsible for any fixing and I had to deal with the home warranty because they didn't approve the fix. If that were true, why didn't he call us back And tell us?
The problem is a bad switch and it IS covered. Home warranty said it was covered and they're bewildered why this guy isn't changing the switch! So per home warranty company, they've dropped him from approved vendors. Apparently he doesn't know how to change a smart switch and LIED. If he lies about small things, how does he deal with other things. My advice is to stay clear of this unprofessional and untrustworthy guy.

Andrew from Lite It Up Electric came to my house today and fixed an issue I had with my outlet. Not only was he able to come earlier than scheduled, he was very professional, friendly, and efficient. It took him about 5 minutes to solve the issue. I highly recommend using this company!

We used Light It Up Electric for the first time today and we're so glad we did. They have excellent customer service and respond quickly to your call. The technician Andrew called ahead to confirm the arrival time and to get any additional details on the services needed. Upon arrival he was professional, efficient in his work, and took the time to explain what he was doing. Its hard to find a good reliable company that has quality service and puts the customers best interest first. We would highly recommend Lite It Up Electric for your repair or electrical needs.

Inexperienced technician and VERY rude owner / supervisor Steve. Tech completely botched ceiling vent install. Paying to have it installed correctly and $550 to repair ceiling.

Lite It Up Electric is the easiest and most reasonably priced Electricians! This company really takes pride in there business and making sure all our needs were meet! They are very flexible and walk you through the entire process. They put customer satisfaction first. We are a Bakery and will for sure be using them in the future for all our electrical needs!  It would be wrong for you not to book them!

These guys are awesome! They came out, on time and got the job done in a clean timely fashion. And when the moter on our brand new light/vent/heater went out a week after they installed it for us, they came out looked at it replaced the moter with one they had in the truck... He was done in minutes and when I asked - how much? He said just give us business. That's customer service at its finest. Dot hesitate to call these guys for all you electrical needs.

Saw Lite it Up on Yelp and decided to give them a try since they were located close to my residence, and I am so lucky I did. The electrician arrived when he said he would, was very professional and personable, and completed the job without trying to sell me a service we didn't need. He guaranteed the work and I couldn't be more satisfied. We plan to use Lite it Up again if necessary.

On-time (early actually- and he called to make sure it was ok to come early), professional, friendly, and fast! Excellent!

I had recessed lighting installed in a kitchen. I was very worried because I was told that installing lighting on the first floor of a two-story home could be extremely difficult. I had no idea where I wanted the lights or if there were going to be holes everywhere but they did an amazing job! He helped me decide where to put the lights for the best functionality and look and I could not be happier. They even patched the holes that were left by the old lighting and cleaned the area before they left. The only problem is that the lighting is so amazing that I realize how poorly I painted the ceiling.

Needed a ballast replaced in my kitchen.  I ordered the parts but needed someone to install them.  I called LIte It Up Electric because of it's raving reviews.  I was not disappointed.

The electrician called before he came.  My appointment was between 0800-1000.  He arrived around 0830.  He was courteous, friendly, and professional, and he answered any questions I had.

Hands down the best service I have ever had. Brian called ahead, was super kind and friendly, and he went above and beyond to help me out changing a lightbulb that was too high for my ladder to reach. He was super professional, timely, and made the light that went out in our kitchen even brighter and better than it was before. I will use them again for any electricity related issues in the future and I highly recommend.

I just moved into my first home, and I had no idea where to start in terms of the electrics. Its a 1950's house, so I knew there had to be some updating. Brian came over and gave me specific estimates of what had to be done, what probably should be done, and what I didn't need to worry about. There were several instances where he could have overcharged me. Instead, he proposed alternatives that ended up solving any issues in a less expensive way. There are very few people in the service industry these days who are truly passionate about what they do and seek to provide solutions rather than rob you blind. I believe that Steven Moore is the last of his kind. He is extremely passionate about what he does as an electrician and has a ton of experience to borrow from when figuring out how to repair an electrical problem. My girlfriend and I recently purchased an older home and called Steven out to help me with a problem into involving the lights and fan in the master bedroom not turning on. Although it took him several attempts (due to the complexity of my situation), Steven was able to accomplish the job and provide me with a solution at a fair price- no add ons AND he showed empathy for my situation while building a personal connection throughout the entire experience- an element that seems to have gone missing from customer service these days. I have complete faith that within the next decade, Steven will build his startup company into the most trusted local brand for electrical work. Thanks again, Steven & Lite It Up team! You guys certainly have a loyal customer in me.
